Error code 0x0

Hi,
I have setup the Microsoft Intune in that I created couple of users after that uploaded an appx package and deployed app to all users, after that enrolled a device having Windows 8.1 Enterprise edition. The uploaded app is showing in Company
Portal app also, but the app is failing to install. The following screenshot is the error message I saw in Microsoft Intune Admin console.
I am using manage.microsoft.com as the server name in enrolled device. I have uploaded the Signed-Certificate which is generated by visual studio along with the packages those are generated according to my Windows Store developer credentials.

Hi Narendra,
I feel your pain. In order to see the actual error message, you need to run the Company Portal on the machine you attempted an installation for. Click on the tile for the app you tried to install and then click on the link "Installation Failed"
- it is actually a link. You should see a split screen pop open with a Bing search with the error code in the search window.
Also, open the event viewer on the machine where the error occurred and look in the Microsoft\Windows\AppXDeployment-Server\Operational section. You should see more detail about the error itself.
There are quite a few potential reasons for the install to fail. Based on what you've written, I'm guessing one of these three:
If the machine is domain joined, a registry setting or Group Policy needs to be updated. (Allow Trusted Apps to Install). Jason Follas has done a great job of documenting it on his
blog.
If the machine is not domain joined, you need to provision a sideloading key in Intune.
In either case, you need to sign the app using a code signing certificate from a CA that the target machine trusts.
Your options for signing the app:
Buy one. We bought
this one, but it ships as a physical dongle and is a PITA to get installed and working. I suggest you try a different one, unless you need physical security for the key. If you wan to use this one, let me know and I will publish the steps.
If you have a domain joined machine and intend to deploy the app only to domain joined devices, you can use a code signing certificate generated by your CA if you have one. Extensive documentation is
here. I haven't tested this process myself.
For testing purposes *only*, you can also use the dummy CA that Visual Studio on your machine generated to sign the app. It should be visible on your own build machine and I believe it has a GUID as a name. You need to manually install it on the target
machine before you attempt to install the app.
Good luck.

  • Portege 600-Windows Setup experienced an unexpected error - Error Code: 0x0

    Hi,
During a Windows 7 upgrade I am getting the following error message. Windows Setup experienced an unexpected error - Error Code: 0x0.
Searching on web I've found recommendations for setting the DMA on the optical drive (can't), updating the bios (done), checked the media (DVD Toshiba supplied Windows 7 upgrade disk) all seems OK visually and turning off antivirus (AVG resident shield turned off). I still get the same error.
    Help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

On which step is this error message shown?
I have done this upgrade several times successfully and without error messages.
Have you followed instructions how to do upgrade to Win7 using second component CD that removes all non-compatible tools and utilities before Win7 upgrade installation?

What does the event log say on the client?
Have you traced the traffic in order to validate that the client actually attempts to connect to the DA server?
What version of DA? Win2008R2, UAG, Win2012, Win2012R2?

    Hello
you have to login to your oracle support and search for ora 600 lookup tool
their if you enter kccpb_sanity_check_2 as 1st argument of ora 600 you will find a related document Doc ID 435436.1 explaining your issue for version Version 10.2.0.1 and later
Doc says that you might need to restore a backup of controlfile and recover or recreate controlfile or restore db from last good backup and recover
    Thanks

  • DirectAccess Client not connecting without error code on Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows 8.1

    Hello,
we are currently migrating from Windows Server 2012 to 2012 R2 and are not able to get the new Direct Access Service up and running. Our goal is to establish DirectAccess connection for a handful of clients using the IPHTTPS-adapter on the default port 443.
    Errors:
There is actually no error showing up. It seems the infrastructure tunnel cannot be created but none of the IPv6-transition adapters is connecting (teredo and 6-to-4 are down) and the IPHTTPs adapter gives no informations about a problem:
    >Get-DAConnectionStatus
    Status    : Error
    Substatus : CouldNotContactDirectAccessServer
    >Get-NetIPHttpsState
    LastErrorCode   : 0x0
InterfaceStatus : Failed to connect to the IPHTTPS server; waiting to reconnect
    Setup:
Our setup is a virtualized Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard running on Hyper-V. It is located behind a NAT having the Port 443 mapped to the server. The only role installed after the basic install is RRAS including DirectAccess and VPN. The assistants completed
successfully (running the configuration for DirectAccess and VPN). Operation Status says everything is green und working (for multiple days in the meanwhile). A previous direct access installation (on a different machine running Windows Server 2012) has
been removed before installing the new server. The new installation is using a different router, so this might also be the cause of a problem.
The client is a Windows 8.1 notebook located outside the company network accessing the internet through another NAT-device. The client has been able to connect to the previous DirectAccess setup but has never been able to establish a connection after the
setup of the new Direct Access server. The device has no outbound constraints concerning the NAT-device and is only running the integrated Windows Firewall.
    Diagnosis:
So far I've done some basic DNS and connectivity checks. The DNS-name can be resolved correctly and the router even responds to pings. The port forward is working and HTTPs connections are generally possible (temporarily routed the port to
access the NLS-Website located on the server, which worked fine).
Network monitor shows that both computers are communicating, traffic on the expected Port 443 is incoming on the server and responses from the server reach the client.
Opening the IPHTTPs-url and in an endless page load. Sometime the browser page closes but I've never seen any result. Using telnet on the port shows that the server is accepting connections. I've even build a small test application that does a GET-Request
on the URL returning HTTP-200 and no content.
I'm currently running out of ideas what to do and since no error occurs this is kind of a bit frustrating. Any help appreciated.
    Regards
    Matthias

    Hi,
In addition, have you disabled the DA client components on the DA client? If no, please also check
the settings on the Name Resolution Policy Table.
    More information:

In addition, error 0x4C9 means the remote computer refused the network connection. It may be due to the invalid
registry or corrupt drivers. For more detailed information, please refer to the link below:

I thinks its the Index block corrupt - So you have following options
    1) Apply the patch - which is possible by seeing the exact bud
    2) Try to recover the block
    3) Try to drop and recreate the index - If its a non sys object.
You need to check and populate V$DATABASE_BLOCK_CORRUPTION for blocks which are marked corrupt.
Use dbv, rman validate commands to populate V$DATABASE_BLOCK_CORRUPTION view
Use - Identify the corruption extension using RMAN/DBV/ANALYZE etc [ID 836658.1] note for identifying the blocks that are corrupt.

    Hi,
how does a update work? I see now a merge with only an update, so you can rewrite it to an update statement. And you don't need the distinct, rowid makes it already unique.

  • Error code 0x00000004 when installing Yosemite?

I have a family member's 2012 13 inch MacBook Pro that failed to boot one day (month ago). I've tried to restore via Recovery and install from all OS's I have available to me (Mavericks and Yosemite). I've downloaded each OS from the Mac App Store. Each time I try to install Mac OS X I get an error. While Mountain Lion (was installed on recovery partition) never included any information, Mavericks and Yosemite gave me an error log. After scanning it, I found the error code of 0x00000004.
In reading other threads, I understand this may be a faulty RAM stick issue? Anyone had this error before? Are there hardware tests I can run? The full log is below.

  • Tecra M10 - Can't uninstall or install Power Saver code 0x0

    Hi folks,
on my new Tecra M10, after logging in I get a Fatal Error message "Toshiba Power Saver. Fatal error has ocured. This program will terminate. code 0x0.
I cannot install a new download of power saver until I UN-install the existing.
When I try to UN-install via Control panel, I get the same fatal error.

    Hi
Friend of me had the same problem and he told me that it was possible to remove Toshiba Power Saver in safe mode. Therefore go in advanced boot menu and select safe mode. After this try removing Power Saver as normal.
    Check this!
Furthermore you could try removing Power Saver using an additional tool like CCleaner. This is a very nice tool where you can remove programs and optimize the registry. I like this freeware program.

    Hi,
The error code  0xC004E003 means that the Software Licensing Service reported that license evaluation failed.
We may need to involve the phone activation center and check if they can resolve the issue:
How to contact a Microsoft Product Activation Center by telephone

Meanwhile, you should post your question in the forum mentioned by Kamin of Ressik. They are the most knowledgeable about the topic.

  • RemoteApp and Desktop Connections update returns Error code: 0x80070003

I had RemoteApp and Desktop Connections working in Windows 7, but it recently started returning the following event log error.
An error occurred. Contact your workplace administrator for assistance.
    Connection name: My Apps
    Connection URL: https://<externalfqdn>/RDWeb/Feed/webfeed.aspx
    Error code: 0x80070003, 0x0
How do I troubleshoot this?  When I enter
https://<externalfqdn>/RDWeb/Feed/webfeed.aspx, I am prompted for a user name and password.  When I enter the user name and password, a string of characters is returned.  Is there a way to decode these characters?  The only unusual
element of my install is that the <externalfqdn> is different than the windows FQDN.  Both point to the same IP address.  I'm not seeing any event log errors on the server.  If I delete the existing RemoteApp connection, recreation of
the connection fails and no event is logged on the server OR the client.

@Raymond Thanks for your reply!  I made the configuration changes you suggested and attempted to logged 3 different activities.
    1. On a client, enter
https://<externalfqdn-removed>/RDWeb/Feed/webfeed.aspx into "Set up a new connection with RemoteApp and Desktop Connections" and click Next.  I received the error message, "An error occurred. Contact your workplace administrator for assistance."
Nothing was logged in C:\inetpub\logs\LogFiles\W3SVC1\*.log or C:\Windows\Web\RDWeb\App_Data\RDWeb.log.
    2. On a client, enter
https://<externalfqdn-removed>/RDWeb/Feed/webfeed.aspx into Internet Explorer 9.  An encrypted security ticket is returned.  Nothing was logged in C:\Windows\Web\RDWeb\App_Data\RDWeb.log.  The following was logged in C:\inetpub\logs\LogFiles\W3SVC1\*.log.
