i Have a JPA/Toplink application to be depolyed on OAS 10.1.3.3 , i defined a DataSource on the Application Server , but iam getting this error when iam trying to run my application :

I don't get it, whats happening ? why does the adapter care what i am running inside a custom sql step. all it is supposed to do is execute the sql and return the values. Why is it forcing me to rewrite the operation which was working before ?

New error with upgrade jboss/tomcat: "Connection handle has been closed and is unusable"

This error suddenly appeared when we upgraded from jboss3/tomcat5.0 to jboss4.2/tomcat5.5.
here's the usecase:
1) User clicks on report link
2) Crystal reports web componnent displays screen to fill in report parameters.
3) user enters parameters and clicks submit
4) System throws Exception
The same reports worked fine with jboss 3.2.6/tomcat 5.0. We haven't touched anything in this realm.

 <track-statements>true</track-statements>
here's a recap:
This Boolean element specifies whether to check for unclosed statements when a connection is returned to the pool. If it is true, a warning message is issued for each unclosed statement. If the log4j category org.jboss.resource.adapter.jdbc.WrappedConnection has trace level enabled, a stack trace of the connection close call is logged as well. OK. I found the problem along with a workaround.


The problem:


a programming practice clashes with a new jboss 'safety check'.


Programming practice:


crystal reports gets a database connection in one jsp page, then tries to use it on another jsp/servlet


Jboss safety check:
Jboss/tomcat new comes configured out-of-the-box with a 'cached connection
manager', which


"Check[s] for unclosed connections and transaction terminated checks in servlets/jsps."


 Summary


In short, if a servlet/jsp ends and it leaves a database connection open, Jboss will automatically close it.




Workaround: 
Comment out two entries in these two files:


1) conf/jboss4/pe/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/server.xml


2) conf/jboss4/pe/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/META-INF/jboss-service.xml


The two entries:




1)


 <Valve className="org.jboss.web.tomcat.service.jca.CachedConnectionValve"

Comments on the workaround


The 'cached connection manager' basically makes sure that the application cleans up after bad programmers. It seems most helpful in development, load testing, or trouble shooting.


In production, you can likely comment them out with minimal
impact on the application.

UNFORTUNATELY DOLBY HAS BEEN STOPPED

RECENTLY I BOUGHT LENOVA A6000.WHEN TRY TO OPEN THE DOLBY IT IS SHOWING AN ERROR
"UNFORTUNATELY DOLBY HAS BEEN STOPPED".
HOW TO OVERCOME THIS.
ALSO I PUT 2G/3G SIM IN THE 1ST SLOT OF SIM.THE NETWORK SIGNAL IS PINGPONGING FROM 3G TO 2G
AND 3G TO 2G.HOW TO PUT PERMANANTLY IN 3G OR IN 2G ONLY.

I Tried Settings > Apps > Manage Applications > Dolby > "clear Cache" & tap onit.
In my phone two icons are there namely Dolby(320 KB) and Dolby(14.54 MB)
In Dolby(320 KB)ver 4.4.4. Cache has 0.00 B,
but in Dolby(14.54 MB)ver 1.0 Cache has 12.00 KB and it is not getting cleared
after Tab on it.It is showing Cache 12.00 KB.
Still iam getting "UNFORTUNATELY DOLBY HAS STOPPED" error message only on Dolby.

Installing the mavericks has been stopped--.it is saying that some error has been occurred

I think that is not a Clusterware issue, The clusterware installation may generating a high load on your machine and Virtual Box is not supporting.
Check vbox.log file to identify root cause.

Besides the above comments, check the error message in the Application log and try to connect via
SQLCMD command.
To check the application event log for errors
1. Open Event Viewer by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Security, clicking Administrative Tools, and then double-clicking Event Viewer.‌ Administrator permission required If you're prompted for an administrator password
or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
2. In Event Viewer, in the console tree, expand Windows Logs, click Application.
Also, try repairing SQL Server 2012 using the following:

RDLC Reports with Custom Font - Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component.

I got an ASP.NET MVC (Razor View Engine and C#) application running on a Windows Azure Web Role.
I use RDLC local reports to create pdf files with printable price tags with respective barcodes.
I got it working on Azure after installing the barcode font (TrueType) using a start-up task. Recently, it stopped working without me changing anything related to this functionality.
I'm getting the following error and so far I didn't find any solution. I know the problem is the barcode font because the pdf is generated well with a standard font like Arial. Also, it works perfectly with barcodes when running the app
locally on my computer.

It seems that the error may have more than one possibilities. I recommend you could try to use the Azure remote debugger to debug your cloud service project on Azure instance. Please see this tutorials:

You could debug your code using the cloud service URL.
And you could enable the Diagnostics feature for collecting Logging Data by Using Azure Diagnostics (http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/gg433048.aspx).

FMCore has been stopped

Windows XP Pro, InDesign CS3 for Windows, Extensis Suitcase Fusion 2 for Windows.
I just installed Fusion 2 for windows and upon launching Indesign error message "FMCore.exe has been stopped" appeared. A recent item in this forum describes the same problem submitted by MAC OS2 user and solution was in the Indesign edit>preferences menu to "turn on core" and "turn on at startup". In my Windows version of CS3 I don't have those options in my preferences menu. Is there another solution for Windows CS3 folks?

This error is being caused by the Suitcase Fusion PlugIn that was installed in your Adobe product when Fusion was installed. If you go to Suitcase Fusion, go to Tools, to Manage PlugIns, deselect the Adobe PlugIns that are active.
This will stop the error message from occurring when you launch. Illustrator, etal.
This does mean that font loading for these programs is not automatic, but that shouldn't be a big deal.

saposcol has been stopped in Prod CI server iand Prod APP1 & APP2 are working .
when i try to start SAPOSCOL i got the below error .

This is common error and just permission issue.
As it says, go to /usr/sap dirctory and check the existence of tmp directory.
if tmp is not present, create it with <sidadm:sapsys permission.
if tmp is present, then give 777 to all of it's content i.e. from root user
cd /usr/sap/
chmod -R 777 tmp
=> in case you do not want to touch all of tmp's content then just give 777 to /usr/sap/tmp/dev_coll.tmp
and start saposcol from sidadm using saposcol -l

Hi, Ragav0507. Thanks for posting in the community. Can you further elaborate your concern? Do you mean that there's a 5-7 seconds delay when listening to your music player via headset? To verify, does this only happen on the situations you specify? How about when using other music player app or headset? Is there any error message? BTW, can we have the name of the music player app you're using & the model of the headset? Keep us posted.

Once you configured EAS through configuration utility and say deploy it on an application server like Weblogic and registered as window services then only "Hyperion S9 Administration Services ATS5" will be visible in Control Panel-->Administartive tools --> Services.
First check have you configured EAS as window services or not - If Essbase Administration Server is installed and running as a Windows service, you cannot start
Essbase Administration Server manually because the default port number is being used by the Windows service. If you try to start Essbase Administration Server manually, an error message is displayed indicating that the port is in use.

Using InfoPath 2013 browser enabled form.
I am getting the above error on ALL Infopath Designed Rich Text fields, where the "Cannot be blank" attribute is set.
To reproduce it, I create a custom list and custom list form with InfoPath 2013. I add 2 Rich Text fields and enable "cannot be blank". To raise the error, I put some data in the RT field. Skip to another field (so focus is changed and a postback
occurs), then back to original field to delete the contents (to raise the validation).
I originally thought it was associated with the HTMLCHKR.DLL not being registered (and I have re-registered it just in case), but the exception I get from the ULS logs reads (it is from a list AFTER I have re-registered the DLL):

I also should mention that this problem started happening about 3 weeks ago. We have extended the web application to handle HTTPS on the intranet zone (we had a reverse proxy project that did not eventuate) - would that cause something? How can I do further
