Error custom-installing 10.3.181.34

Question

For a while now, I've had 10.1.102.64 installing via GPO and using a .mst to place the mms.cfg and a trusts.cfg.  Today, I downloaded the .msi for 10.3.181.34 from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html.
Whenever I try to push this update through a new GPO, I receive error event IDs 101 and 110 in the event logs on the server:
Event ID: 110
Software Installation was unable to generate the script for \\{SERVERNAME}\{SHARENAME}\Adobe Flash Player\install_flash_player_10.3.181.26_active_x.msi. The following error was encountered: Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid.
Event ID: 101

Thinking there was an issue with my .mst, I tried to create a new .mst using ORCA and this AppDeploy.com message board thread.  However, this new .mst was producing the same error when configuring the GPO.  So, I tried creating the .mst, adding one entry (on the Media table for the config.cab file), saved the .mst, closed ORCA.  I then reopened ORCA, imported the .msi and then tried to apply the .mst and got this error - The specified transform could not be applied.
I've tried these proceedures on both a Windows XP Pro (32-bit) and Window 7 Ultimate (64-bit) and receive the same results.
Anyone know if Adobe created the msi in a fashion that you can no longer apply customizations/transforms to the .msi?

Nothing yet, but most of Adobe was on summer vacation last week (the US offices were shutdown.)  I'm still going through email so it's possible they've replied.  If they haven't, I'll ping them again.
