"Error Deleting Device" when removing PCI-7334 in MAX

I added a Virtual NI-Motion device by doing the follwoing in MAX:
Right click "Devices and Interfaces"->Create New->Virtual NI Motion Devices->Virtual 7334
Now my hardware has arrived, but when I installed the card in a PCI slot, no new devices were listed. There was only one entry, with the device status of "Device is not responding or has been removed from the system". I wanted to remove this device, but was unable to. I do the following:
Right click "PCI-7334 (1)"->Remove Device
After answering yes to the dialogue, I get a pop-up that says "Error Deleting Device". How can I get around this problem?

Hi Jay,
It sounds like there might have been some sort of corruption in the data file in Measurement and Automation Explorer. I recommend deleting the Data folder in the following directory:
...Documents and Settings\ All Users\Application Data\National Instruments\MAX
This will simply cause MAX to reinitialize its settings. Any saved information such as Tasks and Configurations will be lost though.

I can't find a way around this, and it's very frustrating. Often I'll rip a CD to listen to on my Shuffle, but then I delete it after that because I don't need it on my computer as I'd prefer to listen to the uncompressed version at home. There's no way around this with the shuffle. If you want an iPod that can sync to libraries that don't have the songs currently on the shuffle you'll have to get a different iPod model.
What the size of your hard drive? If you have the room, you'll save yourself a lot of trouble by keeping a copy of all the songs that you've put on your shuffle.

TS4002 Messages older than 30 days in inbox are not moved to deleted items when removed.

I've had a few messages that were stored in my inbox and were older than 30 days. I've noticed that when I actually delete them they aren't moved to Deleted Items (and sat for 30 days before permanently deleted). It seems that the actual date of the email is being used to calculate the age and not the time it sits in deleted items.

If deleted email isn't being moved to the trash you might want to go to icloud.com from your computer, open mail, click on the gear-shaped icon on the top right and choose preferences, then confirm on the General tab that you have checked "Move deleted messages to" and selected "Tash" from the drop-down list.

HT4191 How do I get to "When prompted, select Delete Notes to remove the duplicates from the device."? I can't get to this!

I have duplicate Notes on my iphone 4 (upgraded to iOS 5.1.1) I have followed your instructions to remove the duplicates. How do I get "select Detete Notes" to appear on my Mac? I have connected my phone to my Mac and selected it in iTunes. I clicked the Info pane and deselected the option to Sync Notes. THEN WHAT should I do? How do I get the prompt "Select Delete Notes to remove the duplicates from the device. (I do want to sync them using the over-the-air feature.)

I would try the following:
First sync your phone with iTunes to create a new backup (just in case). When done, disconnect your phone from your computer.
Next be sure that all of your Notes are on your mac (Don't proceed any further if they aren't). If so, turn off iCloud syncing for Notes on your phone go to Settings>iCloud and turning Notes to Off. When prompted choose to delete the notes from your phone.
Next, without connecting your phone to your computer, open iTunes and go to iTunes>Preferences, on the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically".
Now connect your phone to your computer, click on the name of your phone when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar.
Go to the Info tab and under Other check Sync Notes, then further down under Advanced: Replace information on this iPhone, check Notes.
Click Apply at the bottom right to sync your phone. This should sync the Notes from your mac to your phone and you should no longer have duplicate Notes.
Next, on the Info tab uncheck Sync Notes and click Apply, when prompted select to keep the Notes on your phone (haven't tested this step but I believe you will be given the option to keep them on your phone).
Now disconnect your phone from your computer and check the Notes on your phone to confirm that they are still there and that you don't have any duplicates.
Next turn on iCloud syncing on your phone again by going to Settings>iCloud and turning Notes to On.
On your computer, without connecting your phone, go back to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and uncheck "Prevent…from syncing automatically" to re-enable automatic syncing.
That should do it.

Hey there!
I've spent the best part of the day unpicking this huge mess from the upgrade I completed last night - what a nightmare. I followed a tonne of advice - [actaully, this link was really helpful to me]: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/findbyerrormessage/a/msvcr80-dll-not-found-missing -error.htm however, I still could not fix the **** thing - and that was following basically a day of uninstalling, installing etc.
In the end - I completed a system restore taking my computer back about five days, and just ignoring the new upgrade with itunes until they can get this fixed.
I hope that this might work for you and anyone else reading this. It nearly drove me to drink [!]. I seemed to get past one error message and have it replaced by another - so the system restore was basically the last resort.

The device PCI 6036E: Analog Input error:"the device is not responding to the base address",Output :No signal

I am using PCI 6036E DAQ card, DAQ 6.9.2. , I have not connected to any external device.
When I tested card(in Test Panel of MAX2.2,DAQ 6.9.2) an error appearing �the device is not responding to the base address� � then I pressed Yes, Then TestPanel window appearing�
In analog Input Tag, there is an error �-10805�. This error also appearing when I run the standard analog input samples (use Delphi 6.0).
I tested analog output functions in TestPanel, Delphi Examples, LabView 6.1. There are not error appearing but there is not output signal (using Oscilloscope to see).
Output, Input digital functions are working correctly.
Next I try to foll
ow all the instruntions as recommended:
-Changing TO another slots PCI
-Reinstall Os WinXP,98SE�
-Use another Computer�
But all of the cases are still not working.(the above error still appeared, no output signal)

I'm sorry to hear about the problems that you are running into with your DAQCard. I can understand your frustration with the errors that you are seeing. You mention that you have tried to do some troubleshooting, I was wondering if you have tried all the troubleshooting techniques listed in this KnowledgeBase:

If you have tried all of those things, I would suggest one additional thing to try. I would suggest updating your NI-DAQ drivers to version 7.0. These drivers are the newest versions of our Data Acquisition Drivers, and can be downloaded from our website here:

PCI-7334, Error code 7005

When I open Measurement & Automation Explorer I cannot communicate with the PCI-7334. The error I get is: 70005 (NIMC_boardFailureEreor).
What I did was to try to update the firmware. However, the following message appeared and it was not possible to proceed: "Error configuring the board for download. Please ensure that the board is in a reset state and that no other application is communicating with it".
I try to give some information that may be useful to understand the problem.
The status of the controller is:
- Ready to receive: GREEN
- Data in the return data buffer: GREEN
- Command in process: GREEN
- Pocket error: GREEN
- Power up reset: RED
- Modal error message: RED
- Hardware failure: RED
Moreover, the version of NI Motion is 6.1.2.
I read on the forum that this problem may be related to a hardware failure. Can I try to do some other checks before sending the card to repair?

it's very likely, that you will have to send the board for repair. However to make sure, that you are not only facing an installer issue on the PC (which is quite unlikeyl) you may want to install a later version of NI-Motion on another PC and try to do a firmware upgrade there.

You must put the device you want to connect into Pairing mode. You will need to check the instructions for the device.

Delete emails from server when removed from phone inbox

I want my server (Verizon Yahoo) to trash and delete messages when I trash or delete them on my 5s. I have gone into my Verizon account on the phone, made sure Trash was selected rather than Archive, selected "Delete from server..."when removed from inbox"", restarted, etc. Everything else works in the account, and when I delete on the server, it is deleted on the phone. I want emails to delete from the server when I remove them from the phone's inbox. Supposed to happen, but doesn't.

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't very clear, I guess. What I want to do is Trash or Trash>Delete emails on my iPhone 5s and have them go away from the inbox on my Verizon/Yahoo server. That does not happen now, even though I have set the setting on my phone to do so. All the stuff in my inbox on the server reappears the next time my phone inquires, including the emails I've sent to Trash (on the phone) and those I've Trash>Deleted there. Not too worried about permanent, real, NSA-type deletion, because that just isn't going to happen - I am worried about the poor agent at NSA who has to read my boring, mundane emails, though. I just don't want to see stuff I've Deleted from my phone's inbox come back to the inbox. Zombiemail!

Error message reads, " Wizard Interuppted before InDesign CS2 was comletely installed" when removing

Adobe Tech Support no longer supports CS2 since the release of CS4 and has referred me to knowledgebase and the forum for help.
This is my original problem:
When you try to start Adobe InDesign CS2, or Adobe InCopy CS2, the application returns one of the following error messages:
-- "Could not personalize your copy of [application] because of missing or invalid personalization information."
-- "Please personalize your copy of [application] to continue the setup process."
-- "The serial number you provided is not valid. Please check your serial number and re-enter it"

The instructions for all methods require that I remove InDesign, but I get an error message that says "Wizard Interuppted before InDesign CS2 was completely installed" when removing.

Step one is to back up your computer in case anything goes wrong.
Once you've done that, look at http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=331300 which lists all the folder locations for the creative suite along with the registry keys. It says you should uninstall using ad/remove, but if this doesn't work it should be OK to remove things manually and edit the registry, then run the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility.
At that point you should reboot and you should be able to try installing again.

Ah.. then I suspect you just need to go to Logic's prefs/Audio and check CoreAudio...
It has been unchecked somehow...
