  • Error in importing XML Repository

    Hi,
I'm trying to deploy my application from SIT machine to UAT machine.
I have exported a jar for
XML repository, EventKeys and Business operations from SIT machine.
Now I'm trying to Import them to UAT machine.
I've deleted all the default organizations and created required One oon UAT.
I was able to import EventKeys.jar and BusinessOperations.jar.
But While importing XML Repository jar I'm getting
    com.bea.eci.repository.helper.RepositoryException.
Can somebody help me on this.
    Thanx and warm regards,
    Brijesh M
    [Error.dmp.txt]

    Hi Pruthvi,
It's a namespace problem. The namespace of XML generated by PI is not matching with namespace of xsd schema used in your import map.
Try correcting the name space in PI.

  • DMP 5.1 = 5.2 Upgrade Issue? "An error has occurred..."

I upgraded from 5.1 to 5.2, and the VP and DMP upgrades went fine (other than the one 4305 I managed to "brick" in the process).  But
on the DMM upgrade, not so much.  All seemed to work well, except when trying to access the DMM admin post-install I get the following error message: ("An error has occurred.  Click on the button below to try again.  If this does not work, please contact your system administrator.)
I suspected a DNS misconfiguration issue on the initial upgrade, but after verifying forward and reverse DNS FQDN's everywhere, I did a clean 5.1 build and upgrade to 5.2, and still the same issue.
Everything else seems to work fine.  AAI is accessible and it sync's with SaS, and there are not other visible errors reporting anywhere else along the way, but I can't seem to get past this (Tomcat?) error.
    Ideas?
    Thanks...
    Mike

This is a known issue that is being addressed.
    Description
Certificate disappears after upgrade from 5.1 to 5.2
    Solution
Regenerate Certificate by changing Hostname (can be the same hostname, just select “OK” w/o changing the name).
    SnS First, then DMM
    Reboot Server
This is from the AAI interface...
Let me know if this works..

  • Error occured when importing data from dmp

    Hello friends
when i am importing data from dmp file
    the following error occured
Please help me to solve this
    Error message :
Export file created by EXPORT:V09.02.00 via conventional path
import done in WE8PC850 character set and AL16UTF16 NCHAR character set
export client uses US7ASCII character set (possible charset conversion)
    Import terminated successfully without warnings.

This is not really an error message but a information about possible character conversion from US7ASCII to WE8PC850 which should NOT be an issue since all US7ASCII characters are in most WExxx character sets.

  • Error Adding DMP 4400 to DMM 5.2.2

I am trying to add a new DMP to my DMM system and everytime I input the IP and MAC on the DMM for the DMP and click ok to add I get the following error code.
DMP could not be added. Error 400
Any Ideas as to what this error code is. I have serched and am unable to find any information on error codes for DMM.
    DMP:
    DMP-4400
    5.2.2
    DMM:
    Version ID: V5.2.2
    HW Model: MCS-7835-H3

    Hello,
    1) Do you have a firewall in your network, If Yes - Have you opened the necessary ports on it ?
Please refer to the ports that need to be allowed between the DMP and DMM.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/video/digital_media_systems/5_x/5_2/showandshare/admin/guide/appports.html
    2) Error Code 400 could be the HTTP Error code, Which means that the request from the client to the server or vice versa was not understood by the receiving end.
    3) Makes sure the DMP and DMM are running the same code version and nothing is blocking port 7777 between them.
    4) A screenshot of the error would be helpful .
    Thanks,
    Sagar Dhanrale

I tried reinstalling imp.exe and exp.exe using the Oracle Universal Installer. I checked the import/export utility, but the OUI removed THE ENTIRE developer suite ;-(
So, I decided reinstalling the Oracle and the developer suite from scratch! The installation was ok and I could see the imp.exe working fine during the repository building.
I also did a lot of experiments and some results follows:
    I can export and import an application system if I use the SAME user to export and import the .dmp file;
I can import a .dat file exported by another user sometimes…
But, my main trouble still exists: I can’t import .dmp or .dat files from another user that used exp.exe 8.xxx.
The symptom when I try this last option is the “freezing” of imp.exe like the follow example:
    “Import: Release 10.1.0.4.2 - Production on Sßb Fev 18 21:15:51 2006

    . . importando table "XTSYS_RM$REPOSITORIES" 1 linhas importadas
    . . importando table "XTSYS_TABS_EXPORTED" 14 linhas importadas”
The imp.exe always freezes at xtsys_tabs_exported…
    Any ideas?

  • DMP Error when in Business Partner Master Data

    Forum,
I have one client which produces DMP errors each time they go into the Business Partner Master Data screen. This is since they have been upgraded to 8.8 PL20. Prior to this, there was no such issue.
The spec of the machine is as follows:
    Xp Sp3
    Pentium 4
    1.99GB RAM
Has anyone on here come across this problem since upgrading to 8.8 PL20?
    Regards,
    Juan

    Hi ,
    Check system message log.
Check if two instances of the BP Master are running.
check if any mandatory UDF or FMS or SP_TN creating a problem.
Try cleaning Tmp and log files.
Even if any of your add on EXe is not getting terminated properly then this may also cause such issues.
    Thanks

  • Dmp file error

    Hi,
While logging in with user Code and Password the dmp file is getting created.unable to log in.
I have created new users for the same and made them to work but now the error persists for other users.
There are 24 users. Now i created 3 users extra because of this error.
But it is coming for other users how to deal with this.
    Please help
    Thank You
    Md.nazeer Shaikh

    Hi,
Many reasons are there for creation of DMP File.
    1. Due to Corrupted database
    2. Client and SAP Server Not communicated properly.
    3. IP Conflicts between the server and Clients, more than one server has been installed in that work station.
    4. Client machine not been properly communicated such as printersu2026.
    My Suggestion:
Please check whether more then one server had been installed in your work station. If yes, connect the server and client using the unique server name and its port number (Dataserver: 30000).  Try to separate your sap server from the other server port.

not sure what is happening, but my guess is that your imp msg file is not loaded correctly. The imp 0000 message is:
