I am using Jdeveloper 10.1.3.3. When I open any of my application module xml class say (Session.xml) , I am getting following exception in Jdeveloper

Make sure that the user is able to access workstream from the site collection through VPN. If the user is able to access already, try to download the file locally and see if the data is getting loaded and upload again.

IO Error while deploying application client jar file ???????

Hi,
In my .ear file, one application-client jar(which contains all helper classes which are used in whole application) file is there. While deploying .ear file, all ejb are getting deployed well, while deploying application client jar file(Global.jar file here) it is giving the following message:

Before we continue, PLEASE tell me if you've looked through the available
documentation, code samples, "how-to" documents, etc., for OC4J. It
seems to me that you're mixing things up a bit. I use the "deploy"
command to deploy my EARs, example (partial):
java -jar admin.jar ormi://<host> admin <password> -deploy ...
And my EAR file is not in the "application-deployments" directory
when I issue that command.
Perhaps you could also show me the contents of your "application.xml"
file for this application you are having trouble with.
But I repeat, please tell me if you have already looked at the
available documents regarding OC4J!

This type of error is non-descript and could be caused by any number of things. It is impossible to troubleshoot from here based solely on that message. Let me ask a couple of questions, though:
- Are you using structured FrameMaker? If so, are you using a structured app that has worked successfully before? In other words, did this just suddenly start happening to an otherwise-stable process?
- Is there anything unusual about your layout; that is, anything other than a single text flow with graphics?

Error when opening a VO xml file

I am starting to look at using the framework extension capability for some changes to the Oracle Sourcing module.
I have used an enhanced version of Luke's script to generate my server.xml files. I have successfully loaded these into my project in Jdeveloper. However I am having a problem with one of the View Object XMl files.
When I try to edit the view object (just to have a look at it) I get an error in Jdeveloper that indicates that the XML is invalid.
the file is in $JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/pon/negotiation/creation/server/AuctionHeadersAllVO.xml
I am not sure whether it is a problem with the file or that the version of jdeveloper I have is bad. I cant find the jbo_03_01.dtd so that I can try and validate the file myself. I just cant find the DTD anywhere. I found that the dtd lives in the file jbomt.zip but thats not on my PC. I found a version of the zip file and got the dtd's but they dont validate against any of my VO files.
So I am going in circles. Anyone been here before?

I am trying to extend a page in the Sourcing application. I know that I want to extend the page ponDefineHdrPG.xml. I know that this is held in MDS. Looking at the page properties I can see it is based on the VO AuctionHeadersAllVO. I know that these are not held in the MDS but I got them from the $JAVA_TOP directory.
Following Luke's notes I generated my server.xml files because theye were not shipped with the sourcing application.
My understanding is that I need to use these server.xml files to open my BC4J package. It is here I am getting problems. I cant ignore the problem because I cant create the VO extension because the VO I am basing it on has problems.
I have followed all the examples and reviewed all the training doco. I just cant seem to get anything going here. I have logged tars with support but still getting nowhere.
I just want to add a couple of fields to the main page but am stuck at the first hurdle.

"Error at Open" sturts-config.xml File

I have totally âusing JDG and the JAGâ convert an oracle designer modules âthat uses the CDM Rule frameâ using the JHeadstart 10g under JDeveloper 10g.
The generation was successful and there was no errors the runtime of the generated application.
After that I have opened the struts-config.xml file, I hade an error messages showing that the all pages could not be found and all the Actions has â!NLS Errorâ message.
I have looked over these âcould not be foundâ pages and I didnât find any of them in the hard disk âthey have not been generated at allâ.
How can I open the struts-config.xml file and update it?

From the JHeadstart 9.0.5 installation guide:
We have to disable the Struts Page Flow Diagram of JDeveloper 10 g, because it is currently unable to handle the kind of struts-config files that are created by JHeadstart (bug 3607211). See Suppressing the Struts Page Flow Diagram on OTN (http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/tips/mills/struts_diagram.html) for information how to do that.

I have created 35 UDF'S IN OUR OIM 11GR2 TEST EVNROMENT AND HAVE EXPORTED THE SAND BOX WHICH I HAVE USED WHILE CREATING UDF'S IN FORM DESIGNER'S USER FORM. NOW I HAVE EXPORTED THE SAND BOX AND ALSO EXPORTED THE UDF'S USING THE EXPORT UTITLITY.
IN THE PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT WHEN I TRY TO IMPORT THE XML FILE I AM GETTING THE FOLLOWING ERROR.....

Please check the zip file which you are trying to import.
May be your zip file was not correctly created.
Another option is that before importing the sandbox to prod environment you can try importing the same first in your test environment to make sure your zip was created correctly.

after I logged in, then suddenly when i am opening application library its throwing the error,I restarted the services but nopes......
My version is 11.1.1.3
All the services are started

Error while opening a module. plz help me, very urgent.

when i try to open a module, the following error message appears on my screen.
          " no j2ee component found in d:\krisp\programs\servlets".
          i've installed bea in c: drive and my servlet program is in d: drive.
          plz help me, it's very urgent.

Can you provide some more information? What were you doing when this happened?

RE: GETTING AN ERROR WHILE LOADING ACL USING XML FILE

I have generated several XML files (ACL) to load in the share services but when I do I get the following error message:
"Errors occured during syncrhonization: [com.hyperion.planning.DuplicateUserException: Another user with the name admin already exists.]."
I am not sure how to resolve this issue. Any help and/or assistant is greatly appreciate it.

Error while testing Application Module Jdeveloper 10.1.3.4

Hello everybody..
I´m facing an error when I try to test the application Module.
Due the version of the application server, I´ve changed the java version from 1.5.0 to 1.4.2. However, if a right click on appModule and click and test
is shows the error

have anyone facing this problem??

Did you set up your "Model" Project to use the JDK 1.4 and rebuild the application ?

File system error while opening applications in jdeveloper

I am facing issue while creating new application in jdev. Getting error An error occured creating the application.Check file system permissions. I am admin of my server and I have admin rights for my system.
I am using 11.1.1.6.0 version of jdev and windows xp os.

This is your private PC?
Can you verify it's not permissions issues?
Try run the jdev as an admin (right click-run as). Also try to manually create folder in the target location.

Error while opening a module(detailed)

I have my servlet class in d:\krisp\programs\exam\xxx.class
 At first, things were somewhat fine. My module got deployed successfully. Usually, the names of all servlet classes must be shown when we click the Servlet(there will be other options like filter, listener etc.,). But my servlet class was not there in the Servlet list. I redeployed my module several times but, the problem persisted. So i deleted the complete directory krisp. I started all over again. wrote new servlet file, compiled it, and placed it in krisp\programs\exam directory.
 I opened the weblogic builder and i got to
 file->open and chose exam, the builder asked for the creation of a new deployment descriptor. I gave yes to the request. After a while the following message appeared on my screen
 "No J2EE Component found in d:\krisp\programs\exam."
 that's it.

Can you provide some more information? What were you doing when this happened?
