Error executing Transaction SM19

Hi All
I want to enable User Audit log. For that I am trying to enable it dynamically using transaction SM19. But when I am running this transaction system takes long time and then sessing terminates giving message Workprocess restarted.. It happens to only this transaction. One of the reason for this as per note 766771 is authorization. But I have SAP_ALL authorization.
what could be problem? Can any body help?
Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Now I understood the problem and it is related to the dependency jar files.  For running my custom actions I have the
dependency of 2 jar files . One is sqljdbc.jar and second is xalan.jar.  sqljdbc.jar I have added in the following way. Can anyone tell me how can I add the xalan.jar in catalog.xml file

  • Rights Needed to Execute Transactions

When I execute a transaction from the workbench in 12.0 SP3 using a test account, I get the following error:
[ERROR]: Error executing transaction: Could Not Execute Transaction: [TMP6a683fe1-52b8-11dd-a23e-c9339be0c17a] test01 is not assigned to a role that can perform this action.
I assumed the service needed is 'XAcuteRuntime' but the test account is in the 'xMII Users' role and that role is assigned to that service.
    Any ideas?
    David Macindoe

Quite a few helpful suggestions there.  In the transaction I'm testing the Reader Role is associated with 'xMII Users' of which my test account is a member.  I exported the transaction, deleted the transaction in the Workbench, then looked in the exported transaction on my desktop. It had:
      <Name>Metrics_ING_008/ING008_CA</Name>
      <Version>323</Version>
      <WriterRoles>XMII Administrators,XMII Developers</WriterRoles>
      <ReaderRoles>XMII Users</ReaderRoles>
I deleted XMII Users from the transaction's ReaderRoles and re-typed it.  I then re-imported back into the Workbench.  It still failed.
When I create a transaction in the Workbench, the default roles are:
      <WriterRoles>XMII Administrators,XMII Developers</WriterRoles>
      <ReaderRoles>XMII Administrators,XMII Developers,XMII Users</ReaderRoles>
I don't think the issue is in the Reader Role because I can open the transaction in the Workbench OK - I just can't execute it.

To avoid this error, the RetainSameConnection property should set to 'True' for the Connection Manager - Application_DB.

  • Error SG 105 when executing transaction KKAK

    Hi,
When executing transaction KKAK (Results Analysis) for month end processing we get the following error for a especific sales order:
"E SG105 Enter rate CAD/USD rate type P for 01/01/2010 in the system settings"
My question will be: why is the system asking to enter that rate which we never use. We use rate M but not P. Is that really necessary?
We are using release 470, level 003, Support Package SAPKH47031.
    Thanks for your help.

    HI,
in the year-depending parameters of the controlling area version definition, the ex.rate type (P) and the valid-from-date is defined, thats why P is used.
    Best regards, Christian

    Hi Chris,
have you checked the last answer from Raja,?
Derived depreciation areas could no handle APC differences unless you  activate the indicator "Treat Derived Depreciation Area As Real Area"  under the following menu:
SPRO -> Asset Accounting -> Valuation -> Depreciation Areas -> Define Depreciation Areas).
If you set this indicator, then the system posts the real difference. If  you would like to apply this indicator you have to complete the account  assignment in the configuration, too.
You can switch the derived area from a special reserves area to a  "handled as real" area in transaction OADB. There is no other possibility to get the derived area post APC differences, which you definitely have on some assets.
Please also review and apply the following Notes:
759890   Depreciation run ends with error F5 702
1094330  F5 702 with retirement on group asset
1024598  Incorrect values with repeated simulation

  • Error in Transaction data

    Hi Folks,
In System logs, daily I am encountering the message as "Error in transaction data".
The messages are listed in SM21 in sequence as -
Error processing batch input session PMFMASSIGN
    > Queue ID: 07011706105177351507
    > Transaction no. 1, block no. 1
    > Error in transaction data
On more detailed analysis, after drilling further through each message I found the following message relevant -
Documentation for system log message D2 0 :
Entry relating to an error during the processing of a batch input session.  In the batch input session the data for the next transaction is requested.  However, the data read is no transaction data. The session has probably been destroyed in the database.
Please explain as why the issue is occuring. I remember some time back, I executed RSBTCDEL2 on Production to clear invalid batch sessions but had to terminate due to long run.
    Kindly help me fix this.
    Regards,
    Nick

One interesting discovery I just found in R/3, was this job log with respect to the above process chain:
it says that the job was cancelled in R/3 because the material ledger currencies were changed.
the process chain is for inventory management and the data load process that get cancelled are for  the job gets cancelled in the source system:
    1. Material Valuation: period ending inventories
    2. Material Valuation: prices
The performance assistant says this but I am not sure how far can I work on the R/3 side to rectify this:
    Material ledger currencies were changed
    Diagnosis
The currencies currently set for the material ledger and the currency types set for valuation area 6205 differ from those set at conversion of the data (production startup).
    System Response
The system does not allow you to post transactions after changing the currency settings to ensure consistency.
    Procedure
Replace the current settings with the those entered at production
    start-up.
If you wish to change the currency settings, you must use programs to convert data from the old to the new currencies.
    Inform your system administrator
Anyone knowledgable in this area please give your inputs.

  • LSMW - Error BDC_INSERT, Transaction code .. is invalid XD01

    Dear all.
I have done the following Steps:
1 - Maintain Object Attributes. Chose the Object type Batch Recording, then created a Record using the name (CLI_PMR). And created the Batch record and then assign the fields name.
2 - Maintain Source Structures – Created the Struture (CLI_PMR1)
3 - Maintain Source Fields – Assign the fields name and length that I used in my program. (CLI_PMR1).
    4 - Maintain Structure Relations – Assign the Struture (CLI_PMR1 to CLI_PMR)
5 - Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules – The normal thing in this point.
6 - Specify Files - Specified the Legacy Data, path for the file.
7 - Generate Read Program – Generated the Program.
8 – Read Data – Executed this Step and every thing is correct
9 - Generate Conversion Program – Generated the program
    10 - Convert Data – Convert data
11 - Display Converted Data – Every thing is fine, with no errors
12 - Create Batch Input Session- At this the error message appears Error BDC_INSERT, Transaction code .. is invalid  time.
At the time we have created other LSMW programs for this T-Code and every thing is OK.
    I'm using the T-CODE=XD01
    Best Regards
    Pedro Miguel Rodrigues

Hi, I had the same problem in LSMW when generating a batch input for trx IE01. The cause was that there were tab/newline-characters in my text file (some descriptions contained tab-characters). Since I used a tab delimited file, these tabs/newlines in the fields messed up my file.
The excel file contained multiple lines per cell in some description fields. When this was exported to tab delimited text, it contained additional tabs. After checking the contents and removing the tabs/newlines from Excel and performed a new export to txt-file, it was solved.

  • Error 131 Transaction rolled back by lock wait timeout

    Hello all,
I was trying to run apriori, and then HANA writer in my database.
Apriori executes directly, and then I configure and try to execute HANA Writer. But it keeps executing for more than half an hour, and then gives the following error: Error 131 Transaction rolled back by lock wait timeout. Lock timeout occurs while waiting TABLE_LOCK of mode EXCLUSIVE.
Bimal suggested me to reduce the data to be analysed, so then I reduced it to a pretty small part and executed again.
It gave me the same error after more than 30 minutes waiting executing.
after having this error, I tried just execute apriori, but with a filter of 5 transactions and than it worked. After that I tried to visualize the results, and got the following error:
It means that my HANA memory is full?
I got the view from HANA:
    Regards!
Error 131 Transaction rolled back by lock wait timeout

    Hi Jurgen,
I'm a developper for PAL from Shanghai team.
Could you please provide some details information about this case:
    -          How many records did you use ?
    -          What’s the value of “MIN_SUPPORT” and “MIN_CONFIDENCE” did you use ?
The algorithm of apriori will consume much memory when the input data is very large and min_support is low.
So I suggest you set “MIN_SUPPORT” and “MIN_CONFIDENCE” as 0.9 firstly, check if it can output result.
    Thanks,
    Peng

  • Error marking transaction for rollback: java.lang.IllegalStateException in WLI 6.1 SP3

    Hi,
The following exception occurs, when the workflow was waiting after it has made
a synchronous call to an external system through WTC Interface.
I had read Rob's comments earlier for WLI 6.1 SP1 on this exception that there
would be a fix available for it in the next minor release. For your information,
I had got this exception in WLI 6.1 SP3. Is still EJB Container's timeout excels

You could change the transaction timeout value, but I'd re-examine the
application and see if the transaction times could be reduced some.
29 seconds seems like a long time.
