Error in assining MT to service interface

Hi PI 7.1 experts,
i am working on PI 7.1, i have SLD components like this
Product:                     XYZ
SWCV                       XYZ       version 1.0
Product:                     ABC_CANONIC
SWCV                       ABC_CANONIC      version 1.0
now i have created some data type and message type in SWCV  ABC_CANONIC   which i want to be reusable
now i am creating one service interface in  SWCV        XYZ  and assigning message type from SWCV  ABC_CANONIC
but its giving me error with error text "SINGLE_SWCV_MSG"
can anybody help me in this regard?
whats should be the SW compnent strategy?
Thanks
sandeep sharma

The strategy should be that before starting with the IR imports of SWC from SLD, you must decide upon which objects of one SWC could be dependent upon the others. Once done, then you have to define this dependency in SLD itself. After this, the SWCs should be imported in IR and you should proceed with the developments.

  • Provider proxy error - Service Interface with multiple operations

    Hello experts,
    I've a synchronous provider proxy scenario using an inbound and outbound service interface.
    That service interface contains 3 operations: create, change and delete a table entry.
    I created all the necessary repository objects and integration scenario objects.
    Next, I generated a provider proxy on the ECC backend system and created an endpoint via SOAMANAGER.
    When I test, I get this error:
    No implementing class registered for the interface (ABAP interface, request message ...., request message, namespace....)
    I currently use a receiver XI adapter in the scenario. Is that ok?
    or should I use a receiver SOAP adapter with a SOAP action?
    Please advise.
    Thanks a lot.

  • NWDS deploy error for service interface

    Hi Friends,
    I am deploying simple process instance via NWDS.
    The process instance contains "intermediate message event" , which is waiting for cXML - order request message.
    The service interface -wsdl in SAP PI ,which is configured for above "intermediate message event" is having below line :
    <xsd:import namespace="http://www.w3.org/XML/1998/namespace" schemaLocation="http://www.w3.org/2001/xml.xsd"/>
    I am getting below error while deploying above instance:

    How to resolve this reference in service interface?
    Also, external defination having cXML.xsd is also having some of the field types are red, like xml:lang.
    Please suggest your views on the same.

  • Error while deploying a web service whose return type is java.util.Date

    Hi
    I have written a simple web service which takes in a date input (java.util.Date) and returns the same date back to the client.
    public interface Ping extends Remote
    * A simple method that pings the server to test the webservice.
    * It sends a datetime to the server which returns the datetime.
    * @param pingDateRequest A datetime sent to the server
    * @returns The original datetime
    public Date ping(Date pingDateRequest) throws RemoteException;
    The generation of the Web service related files goes smoothly in JDeveloper 10g. The problem arises when I try to deploy this web service on the Oracle 10g (10.0.3) OC4J standalone. it gives me the following error on the OC4J console :
    E:\Oracle\oc4j1003\j2ee\home\application-deployments\Sachin-TradingEngineWS-WS\
    WebServices\com\sachin\tradeengine\ws\Ping_Tie.java:57: ping(java.util.Date) in com.sachin.tradeengine.ws.Ping cannot be applied to (java.util.Calendar) _result  = ((com.sachin.tradeengine.ws.Ping) getTarget()).ping

    I read somewhere that the conversion between java to xml datatype and vice versa fails for java.util.Date, so it is better to use java.util.Calendar. When I change the code to return a java.util.Calendar then the JDeveloper prompts me the following failure:
    Method Ping: the following parameter types do not have an XML Schema mapping and/or serializer specified : java.util.Calendar.
    This forces me to return a String data.
    I would appreciate if someone can help me out.
    Thanks
    Sachin Mathias
    Datamatics Ltd.

    Hi
    I got the web service working with some work around. But I am not sure it this approach would be right and good.
    I started altogether afresh. I did the following step :
    1. Created an Interface (Ping.java) for use in web Service as follows :
    public interface Ping extends Remote{
    public java.util.Date ping(java.util.Date pingDateRequest)
    throws RemoteException;
    2. Implemented the above interface in PingImpl.java as follows :
    public class PingImpl implements Ping
    public java.util.Date ping(java.util.Date pingDateRequest) throws RemoteException {
    System.out.println("PingImpl: ping() return datetime = " + pingDateRequest.toString());
    return pingDateRequest;
    3. Compiled the above 2 java files.
    4. Generated a Stateless Java Web Service with the help of JDeveloper. This time the generation was sucessful.(If I had "java.util.Calendar" in place of "java.util.Date" in the java code of the above mentioned files the web service generation would prompt me for error)
    5. After the generation of Web Service, I made modification to the Ping interface and its implementing class. In both the files I replaced "java.util.Date" with "java.util.Calendar". The modified java will look as follows :
    Ping.Java
    =========
    public interface Ping extends Remote{
    public java.util.Calendar ping(java.util.Calendar pingDateRequest)
    throws RemoteException;
    PingImpl.Java
    ================
    public class PingImpl implements Ping
    public java.util.Calendar ping(java.util.Calendar pingDateRequest) throws RemoteException {
    System.out.println("PingImpl: ping() return datetime = " + pingDateRequest.toString());
    return pingDateRequest;
    6. Now I recompile both the java files.
    7. Withour regenerating the Web Service I deploy the Web Service on OC4j 10.0.3 from JDeveloper. This time the deployment was sucessful.(The Deployment fails if I don't follow the step 5.)
    8. Now I generated a Stub from JDeveloper and accessed the stub from a client. It works fine. Here if you see the Stub code it takes java.util.Date as a parameter and returns a java.util.Date. (Mind you I am accepting a java.util.Calendar and returning the same in my Web Service interface. Step 5)
    The confusing thing is the Serialization and Deserialization of Data from Client java data to Soap message and Soap message to Server java data.
    From Client to SOAP :
    java.util.Date to datetime
    From SOAP to Server :
    datetime to java.util.Calendar
    From Server to SOAP :
    java.util.Calendar to datetime
    From SOAP to Client :
    datetime to java.util.Date (I am not able to understand this part of the conversion)
    Any help or inputs would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Sachin Mathias

  • Error message: Multiple definitions exist for interface

    Hi experts,
    I am developing a scenario that involves a BPM, that receives a certain abstract interface, and sends out another abstract interface.
    I have created a service interface for the result abstract interface.
    I have tested the before BPM and it worked, but now it has stopped working.
    In the java ui no errors are seen, and the BPM activates successfully, but in transaction SXI_CACHE the BPM is in status 99, and in the activation log there is a message saying: Multiple definitions exist for interface [Name of the result abstract interface].
    I have tried activating the service interface, the BPM, and doing a delta cache refresh, but it didn't change.
    What can I do to solve this problem?
    Thanks in advance,
    Gershon Osmolovski

    Hi Gershon,
    Try following thing, might help.
    Go to ID and check which communication component you have created. Check if there is any other inactive version of it. If it is existing.Delete it.
    Edit and activate the original Communication component and do cache refresh.

  • Service Interface: How to create an SDO graph with tow Objects

    Hi,
    I want to create a Web service interface on top of my application module. Using the Service Interface I select the app mod, service methods and view objects from the data model. My data model consists of a master detail relationship. The Web service should provide an interface that uses a master and its details as parameters in an operation.
    For example a customer and his credit cards. A GET-Operation should return a data structure that groups all objects.
    I do not know how I can configure such a web service.
    How can I achieve such a web service?
    Do I have to code a service method and what is the return type of the method?
    Can I work with existing VOs?
    Do I need 'special' preconditions like a composition between master and detail?
    Any idea?
    Thanks,
    Markus

    Hi Scott
    Bad news. I read several time this thread, but I have not found error in my program ... .
    And I can not see what are really doing APIs of APEX.
    Time is going - so we have make a decision now.
    Probably (as I have no more answers at this forum) - we can not use APEX (as nobody using APEX sessions as I asked),
    as we can not manage its sessions programmatically (too risky).
    Thanks for your answer.

  • Failure in SDOSerializer.deserialize - Invoking AMImpl's Service Interface

    Hi,
    I have a typical Issue while invoking a Service Interface creation using ADF BC.
    Steps done:
    1. I generated the service interface using AMImpl.
    2. Modified the WSDL to include soap headers.
    <wsdl:input>
    <soap:body use="literal"/>
    *<soap:header message="tns:getTransactionHeader"*
    part="transaction" use="literal"/>
    </wsdl:input>
    <wsdl:output>
    <soap:body use="literal"/>
    *<soap:header message="tns:getTransactionHeader"*
    part="transaction" use="literal"/>
    </wsdl:output>
    3. Modified the Service classes (Service.java and ServiceImpl.java) to include the holders for the soap headers.
    Now the method looks like this in the Service.java class:
    List<SellingDayCalendar> getXYZ(@WebParam(mode = WebParam.Mode.IN,
    name="unitName")
    String unitName, @WebParam(mode = WebParam.Mode.IN, name="salesDate")
    Timestamp salesDate, *@WebParam(name = "transactionHeaderType", mode = WebParam.Mode.INOUT,*
    targetNamespace =
    *"/com/gm/vstar/model/core/common/",*
    header = true, partName = "transaction")
    Holder<TransactionHeaderType> transaction
    ) throws ServiceException;
    4. I have created the POJO class called TransactionHeaderType.java which implements Serializable interface.
    While I run the service by including headers or try to invoke the proxy from my JSF page, I get the following exception:
    Target URL -- http://localhost:7101/MyServicesApplication-MyServicesModel-context-root/MyService

  • Mapping in Services Interface with multiple operation... ?

    Hi ALL,
    I have a SOAP to SOAP scenario here Just PI 7.1 with EHP1 acting a bus no mapping nothing .
    1) I have the WSDL file from the receiver system with multiple synchronous operations  in it ..i imported the wsdl as External Definition .. i used the same the WSDL file to create the sender Service interface also...
    when i created the service interface with the operation in it , i just gave the same operation name from the WSDL.this i followed for the sender and receiver service interface.

    you might want to read this /people/shabarish.vijayakumar/blog/2010/09/08/service-interface-and-multiple-operations--is-it-just-an-hype
    you will need to create additional configurations for multiple operations to be supported

  • Service interface with more than one operation

    Hi all,
    is it possible to have a service interface with more than one operation?
    I have found this blog:
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs;jsessionid=(J2EE3414900)ID0209118050DB10459657028039341762End?blog=/pub/wlg/15123
    But this sentence:
    ABAP proxy (inbound/ outbound) cannot be developed out of a Service Interface having Operations with different type of messages included. If an ABAP proxy is to be developed then all the messages included should be of one type i.e. either the included messages should be Message Type, External Message, IDOC or RFC Message. This behavior can be observed when a Service Interface is created and then subjected for a check

    Hi,
    now the interface is running but I get another error in .NET.
    "The header 'Diagnostic' from the namespace 'http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30' was not understood by the recipient of this message, causing the message to not be processed.  This error typically indicates that the sender of this message has enabled a communication protocol that the receiver cannot process.  Please ensure that the configuration of the client's binding is consistent with the service's binding. "
    Any ideas?
    regards

  • I have just tried to convert a PDF file for the first time. Get error message-can't access service.

    I just purchased ExportPDF and have tried to convert a PDF file to *.docx and *.rtf for the first time.  In both cases I get a file that says there was an error is accessing the online service.  What do I do?

    Could you try these steps to alleviate the access issue you're having:
    Choose Edit > Preferences (Win) or Adobe Reader > Preferences (Mac)
    Click 'Online Services' on the left-hand side
    Sign out of our Adobe ID and sign back in.
    Try to convert your document again.
    If you continue to have trouble, please verify that you can access the service via the web interface.  To do this:
    Open a browser and navigate to http://exportpdf.acrobat.com/signin.html
    Try to log in with your Adobe ID (email address) and password
    Once logged in, follow the on-screen prompts to convert a file
    Let us know if you're still having trouble and we'll try to help!
