Error in Coherence under OSGI

Hi,
When we start Coherence 3.7 under OSGI (knopflerfish) we are getting this exception:

This has started happening since using Coherence 3.7. Same code with Ch 3.5.3 does not show the exception.
Did it happen to anyone here? Any idea ?
Thanks,
Mikel.

    Hi,
has the oracle user respectively the User that starts the Oracle Reports process on your unix machine the right to write in the specified unix directory? If this doens´t help you make sure you give the report the right directory values and try some variants of this directory values.
If you´re running Oracle Reports 6i, what I hope is not the case, this might be interessting for you: http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/forms/6idocs/bugfix_p11_s.html

    Regards,

Issue is fixed, Refer sap note 1662200
Its available  in SP for SAP PCUI_GP 633.
    The problem originates from class
FcTeamCalendar. For some reason, the character ';' is no longer valid
in the xml, hence, gets rejected by the Java WD runtime. The string is
parsed against the pattern "[a-zA-Z_0-9]*". Hence, I have replaced ';'
by '_'. The IGS colleagues have confirmed that this should be working
    fine now.
If you have NWDS available, here are the manual steps to make this
    change:
    1. Edit class FcTeamCalendar.java.
    2. Replace "private static final String SEPARATOR = ";";" by
"private static final String SEPARATOR = "_";"
    3. Save your changes, rebuild and deploy.

  • Live office database errors in Citrix - underlying WebI reports work fine

    Hi,
We have a live office report with 30 tabs in the excel file i.e. 30 webi report parts in it. It accesses 20 webi reports, each built on a BEX query.
Please see below the error which users get while running the report in Citrix environment. The underlying WebI report has no database errors, and we were able to run the Live Office reports at the same time on LAN. The Citirx users get these database/auth errors intermittently, on different tabs of the report at different times - the underlying BO reports are error free and users have proper rights to execute them.
"An error occured while opening the report. The report does not exist; youhave insufficient rights to open the report; or you cannot make a connection to the BusinessObjects Web Service. (LO 02010)
Failed to get the document information (LO 26315)
A database error occured. The database error text is: ...."
    Please help.
    Thanks,
    Soumya

    Hi,
BO Version is BO XI 3.1 SP2 FP2.1
Datasource - BEX queries BW Relese 701, support pack level 8
We have made users login to Infoview and checked that they are able to execute the WebI reports. Also, earlier they were able to run all reports, so there is no access problem.
These errors started occuring when we had to refersh BO Universes after some of the BEX queries changed. We even asked users to stop using the excel files on which they used to get errors, thinking the files may be corrupt. Then we sent them new files which we had successfully refershed at our end. But still they get these errors in their environment.
    Please advise.
    Thanks,
    Soumya

Oracle Coherence: The Manifest is corrupted or inaccessible; some functionality may be disabledI can startup coherence manually via the console tools but can't get by this error when starting from within tomcat 6.0.26. However, the functionality of Coherence seems normal except the logging is missing the information contained within the Manifest. I have edited the Manifest manually, replaced it with one from 3.5.3, but nothing seems to work.
    Any help is much appreciated.
    Thanks.
    Joe

    Hello,
I took the following steps to attempt to reproduce this:
I created a JSP as such:
    <html>
    <%@ page import="com.tangosol.net.*"%>
    <body >
    <%!
    NamedCache cache = CacheFactory.getCache("test");
    %>
    <tt>
    Got NamedCache: <%=cache.toString()%>
    </tt>
    </body>
</html>I called it index.jsp and placed it in the root directory of a WAR file. In the WAR file I created WEB-INF/lib/coherence.jar. When I deploy this, everything works fine. Can you try this in your Tomcat setup and see if it works for you?
    Thanks,
    Patrick

  • Adobe Reader 9.1.0 Error accessing preferences under Mac OSX 10.5.7

On my Intel iMAC under German Mac OSX 10.5.7 or 10.5.6 I can not open the preferences (in German:Voreinstellungen) of Adobe Reader 9.1.0, I am always getting an error:
"Fehler beim Laden einer Anwendungsresource" (Error while accessing a program resource ?)
Updating or re-installing Adobe Reader does not solve the problem. I can open .pdf documents without any error.
    Who can help ?

I had already deleted the preference-file, but still the same error.
There is another problem-report (http://forums.adobe.com/message/1771582#1771582), describing the same problem together with printing-problems.
It turns out, that the filesystem on my internal hard drive (which is formatted case sensitive), is the troublemaker, as described in the 1771582 report, because I also can not install Adobe Photoshop CS3 on this iMac (wrong file system).
It's strange, but ADOBE does not seem to support case sensitive formatted Mac OSX hard-drives, this causing trouble with Adobe Reader and Photoshop CS3 Install.
I will re-format the Internal hard-drive (with no case sensitive) later and let you know the result

  • DML Error Logging for underlying tables autocreated for dimensions

    Hi,
I have problems with logging errors during mapping for underlying tables that are automatically generated for creating dimensions. I know that DML Error Logging is supposed to work only on tables, views and materialized views, and I have tried it out using a pure table in a mapping without any reference to a dimension and specifying the error table name for it. This works perfectly. The error rows were captured correctly in the error table and the correct rows were also loaded successfully to the target table.
However when it comes to mapping to a dimension, I have some issues with that. I specified the shadowtable name for the underlying table(right clicking on the table in design center and then choosing configure), and after deploying I did check that the error table/shadow table and also the target table were indeed created in the database.
The problem lies now in the mapping because I am actually mapping to a dimension and not the underlying table the dimension references to. It seems that the mapping did not manage to capture details of the error table for the underlying table that the dimension was referencing to and thus were unable to capture the errors. Only the corrected rows get loaded and there were no error messages during the loading that suggests that the incorrect rows were detected.
    Would appreciate some assistance here.
    Thanks!
    WY

    Hi
The DML error logging feature in 10gR2 and 11gR1 was restricted purely to tables, so the dimension operator did not support it. This is now supported in OWB 11gR2 (plus there is the orphan management functionality).
    Cheers

  • Assert error in __memp_fget under OS X/Linux using TXN_SNAPSHOT

    Hi all,
Hopefully this is a good place to file a bug report. I've been hunting down the cause of a core dump for a couple of weeks and have finally reduced it to a [small example|http://home.comcast.net/~jonathanmeredith/bugrpt.tar.gz] (I couldn't find a way to attach it to the message).
    README from the tarball:
The code sample enclosed causes BDB to die with an assertion error. This is the minimal
code that causes the bug, stripped down from an Erlang port driver. It may look strange
and ugly, but it only exists to reproduce the bug.
To reproduce expand the tarball into a directory containing the BDB tarball and run make.
It will compile the library and test code then start looping through the test code. The
assertion usually occurs anywhere between 1 and 50 iterations through the test code.
The bug occurs under Mac OS X 10.5.7 (9J61) running on an 8 core [email protected] mac pro,
8Gb RAM, compiled with i686-apple-darwin9-gcc-4.2.1 and under Debianl Lenny on
    4 core Xeon 5160 @ 3.00GHz, 8Gb RAM, libc 2.7-18, gcc (Debian 4.3.2-1.1) 4.3.2.
    Expected output:
assert failure: ../dist/../mp/mp_fget.c/257: "bhp != NULL"
    0 bugrpt 0x001284c1 __os_stack + 38
    1 bugrpt 0x00124bce __os_abort + 17
    2 bugrpt 0x000ba786 __db_assert + 66
    3 bugrpt 0x0010f365 __memp_fget + 2274

    7 bugrpt 0x000a0d9f __db_put + 639
    8 bugrpt 0x000bf7c1 __db_put_pp + 606
    9 bugrpt 0x000023bf start + 723
    10 bugrpt 0x00002492 bug200 + 70

    12 libSystem.B.dylib 0x91e37012 thread_start + 34
    ./loopbug: line 20: 52562 Abort trap ../bugrpt
Removing the TXN_SNAPSHOT options makes the bug go away. So does changing the size of the 'put' value.
Reducing the number of the THREADS #define increases the number of iterations required to hit the assert.
On the 4-core Debian box it took 377 reps with THREADS=2

    Hi Jon,
Thanks for a great test case, this made our job a little easier! If you could please send me an email to: michael dot brey at oracle dot com, I will respond to you with a patch of this issue for 4.7.
    Regards,
    Mike Brey, Oracle Berkeley DB

  • 404 Error on Servlet under HTTPS

    Hi,
This is the first time that I've had to work with SSL. I have a servlet that worked fine under regular http. I had to implement SSL and run my site over https. When I try to access my servlet under HTTPS, I get the 404 File not found error. Is there something that I need to setup for servlets to run under SSL in apache or server.xml? or Do I need to modify my JSP and Servlet code?
I call my servlet from my JSP on the action method of the form like such:

I have been told that there is problem with my configuration of Tomcat. I have followed the documentation found at
    http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/tomcat-4.1-doc/ssl-howto.html
and it doesn't work. I have been working on this for a week now and can't seem to get it to work. Can someone please take a look at it and tell me what I am doing wrong? THANKS!
I get "HTTP 404 - File not Found" with the URL https://www.benefitserver.com/FDFServlet
I get "Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request" with the URL https://www.benefitserver.com/servlet/FDFServlet
I've looked at the log files for Apache and I don't see any errors listed. No errors logged in the Tomcat log file either.

  • Keep out DRC error when placed under component body

I have several multiplexed displays and I don't want trace running under the displays, so I place a keep out rectangle in between all of the pins. Route the board, works as it should to 100%, but.....I'm getting a DRC red circle that says the component is within a keepout (it supposed to be!!). I've tried adding it as a part group, and tried to put it as an advanced option but the DRC remains.
What is the correct procedure to keep traces out from under a component without getting a keepout DRC error??????????????
Can't figure out what I'm missing here.
Signature: Looking for a footprint, component, model? Might be here > http://ni.kittmaster.com

Chris, you should not add the Part as a 'keepout' in the advanced options, you should add a Net Group instead... and in that net group include all nets... so you are doing a keepout area of all nets... not parts...   with this solution you can draw the keep out shape under the footprint (but within the boundaries of the pads) and force the autorouter to avoid crossing under the display.
If you do not include any part groups in the advanced options of the Keep out area you will not get a DRC error for the part.

    Coherence Logger@9272718 3.4.2/411 ERROR 2009-06-01 16:08:31.396/1217.130 Oracle Coherence GE 3.4.2/411 <Error> (thread=Cluster, member=3): Received cluster heartbeat from the senior Member(Id=7, Timestamp=2009-04-24 12:29:25.802, Address=xx.xxx.xx.xxx:8093, MachineId=55400, Location=machine:server72,process:11324, Role=WeblogicServer) that does not contain this Member(Id=3, Timestamp=2009-06-01 15:48:09.18, Address=xx.xxx.xxx.xx:8091, MachineId=47428, Location=site:ops.company.org,machine:cohserverbox1,process:14401, Role=CoherenceServer); stopping cluster service.
    Thanks Much

    Hi,
This error essentially means what it says: The process received a cluster heartbeat that did not include the process as a member of the cluster. The process, therefore, stops its cluster service and will attempt to join the cluster again when appropriate. There are few reasons that the senior member may not have included the process in its heartbeat. Based on the timestamps and roles, I would first want to confirm the intent to cluster these processes. If the intent is not to cluster these processes, I would adjust their configurations appropriately (eg. use a distinct port) to form separate clusters. If the intent is to cluster these processes and the error (with the timestamp spread) reproduces, I would want to examine the network topology and look for reasons the members are being dropped from the cluster.
    Regards,
    Harv

  • Write-through cache error kills coherence

Hi, we have a write through cache, and when there's an error writing to the cache store, the cache dies. The first error we see is:
3.5.3/465 | Coherence(3) - 2012-07-19 07:28:35.918/34.768 Oracle Coherence GE 3.5.3/465 <Info> (thread=DistributedWriteThroughWorker:3, member=1): (Wrapped: Failed to store key="1342708115777") java.lang.RuntimeException: Failed to store hibernate entity : This is normal, since there's a legitimate reason why this couldn't get stored, but after the stack trace, we see the below. So the 1st thing is the "Terminating DistributedCache", that just kills the node and makes it unusable, then there's the "unknown user type" message, as if it's trying to send something over the wire, but it can't; although this "WrapperException" is not one of our classes. Clearly we don't want the cache dying, we want to continue to use it, but any subsequent request to the cache fails. Any ideas?

Ok, figured it out. I failed to include the standard "coherence-pof-config.xml" when loading in our pof config file, and that's what caused the troubles. Including it solved the problem of the dying cache.

  • Error-yahoo portfolios under maintenance, but works fine with I.E.

I am using ATT Yahoo and Firefox.
When I try to access my stock portfolios, i get "Error-portfolios under maintenance". Also, I can't access my yahoo bookmarks.
So, I have to use Internet Explorer, and everything works fine.
Is it a Yahoo problem or a Firefox problem?
Of course I prefer to use Firefox!
