We are in the process of integrating our BW DEV system with newly
installed portal system. After the integration using template installer
from NWA, when accessing BEx Web Analyzer we are getting following error

I believe 623 had a bad reference to the ChilKat dll that may have caused this.
Make sure you have the latest release v626.

Error during conversion in the web application designer 2004s?

Hello there,
When I'm converting a template from 3.1 to 7.0(2004s) whit the migrationtool, I get an error whit a big screen. Then the WAD closes down. I can ignore, retry or break down. Does somebody know what the problem is?I have done other queries and they converted good. It is a query whit selections and formulas. I've tried anything. could someone help me?

I solved the problem by creating a new template in 3.1 and added the table. after that, i used the migrationtool, and it worked fine. does somebody know why it is like that?

What up with the template display

Ok in the past I could drop any template in dreamweaver and
float thru, now I have CS3 and all it get is tons of tag errors and
everything in the template is displayed wrong, in cs3 when I
preview in the browser it looks fine but everything in the template
is so far from where it should be I cant editing properly. I even
open one of my site I did in cs2 that never gave me isses and in
cs3 it look different as well. I there aything I can do or turn off
in the preference to get this back on track.:frown;

If the code is not right, the page will not be right. This

I activated all 0* objects in BTMP and checked that they are all activated, but I found errors when opening the BEx Web Analyzer
Error messages :

The 'match the template type' error?

In XMLP 5.0, when I create a XSL-FO Type templete, I meet the error:
The file must match the template type. Upload one file per language and territory combination.
My templete name is XXXXXX..xsl, it is an XSL-FO file.
I know XMLP will create an XSL-FO file in XDO_LOBS for each RTF templete, but how to disable the automatical conversion, Because I want to use my XSL-FO file directly. Thanks for your answer.

When you upload the XSLFO template specify that it is of type 'XSL-FO' and we will not do any conversion, just simply upload it. \

Error while adding a second template to the same data definition

Hi,
I am quite new to XML Publisher. I am developing a report using XML Publisher.
I have added one template to the Data Definition. When I tried to add another Template(with different name as previous, to the same concurrent program and application) to the same Data Definition I am getting the following error.
Error: You entered a duplicate template entry. Please change the Name, Code and/or Application and reapply.
Can anyone help me out solving this problem. I am reaching my deadline. Please suggest me what can be done.

Hello all,
I am using the IMAQ Match Pattern 4 to detect the rotation angle of a template image. However, it shows the error: "Error 1074395241: The template descriptor does not contain data required for rotation-invariant matching." What is the problem exactly? How to solve this? The details are explained below.
My project is a little bit complicated. Part of the block diagram containing the IMAQ Match Pattern 4 is shown below:
The source image is a series of frames of images read from an AVI video (I used a for loop to process the images frame by frame). The template image is a selected region of the first frame. So it means, the user selected the object of ineterst in the first frame of the video, and in each of the following frames, we need to find the matched object of interest & determine its rotation angle. When I run the block diagram shown above, it does not have any error. However, it shows the rotation angle as zero no matter what it "really" is. Therefore, I changed the block diagram by adding the parameters, shown below:
But in this case, when I run it, it shows the error that I have indicated in the subject line.

-You have create template with angle range and what type of pattern matching you want use.
-For this you have to use IMAQ Learn Pattern before using IMAQ Match Pattern 4

Error , while running the Template Installer

Hi Experts,
I am getting the following error when running the Template Installer in NWA.
When i trying to save the domain information in CMS , i am getting the following error.
Unexpected error; inform your system administrator: <Localization failed: ResourceBundle='com.sap.cms.util.exception.CMSExceptionMessages', ID='SLD name-server configuration error', Arguments: []> : Can't find resource for bundle java.util.PropertyResourceBundle, key SLD name-server configuration error.
I have seen following solution in the forums.
In the SLD->Technical Landscape-> Technical System Type, select "System Landscape Directory" ensure that the SLD server you use has the 'Name Server' check box selected and right CIM Server URL is mentioned.
But i haven't find this navigation for (Technical Landscape)in my SLD again in that choosing the"System Landscape Directory" . Please let me know the correct path to fix this problem.

Under the "Home" -> Link having Landscape -> Technical System and Landscapes.
I have tried in both (Technical Systems and Landscapes)the places , i have nt find the "System Landscape Directory". to see the "Name Server" check box to select.

are automatically created and they are required. Also the steps to allocate the users to groups are automatically performed

errors you get in the template is that there is any person authorized
selected in the category group 'Personnel Appraisals'. Please select the
available persons authorized in the 'Status Flow' to solve this issue.

Any way to turn off errors when updating pages from the template?

I'm using Dreamweaver MX. My site is huge. It's an intranet
spanning dozens of departments. Some of those departments have
subsites that don't fall under the intranet's control, although
they are embedded within our site's folder structure. When I make a
change to the template and update pages, every time I hit one of
those subsites I get tons of errors, from "template not found" to
"unmatched body tag". The errors that pop up each have to be
clicked on before the updating can continue. I get hundreds of
these.
Is there any way to make errors not pop up while updating
pages from the template? Or even to exclude certain folders from
being checked? (Cloaking doesn't do it.)

Valid code will not produce these errors. Unfortunately, the
only way to
avoid them is to remove any validation hiccups from your
pages.

Error when using the template installer MI post installation process

Hi all,
I am busy to configure the Netweaver Administrator in order to create setup packages for mobile devices. This is a WAS 6.40 ABAP JAVA instance with mobile infrastructure.
I have installed the netweaver SR1 and upgraded abap and java to SPS18 afterwards.
Afterwards I used the template installer, I executed: MI post installation process.
But when I did this an error message occured on the following node:

Here after I followed manual: MI25 SPS18 inst newtech.pdf for configuring the NWA.
I checked the complete manual, but still the error message occurs, when I am using the template installer.
There is one more thing.
When I go to the NWA, to the Mobile Infrastructure node, allmost all subnodes give me the following error:

Failed to get hierarchy group elements from middleware. Reason: Could not connect to middleware.
Does this error message relate to the other error message?
Please give me advise/hints/directions to solve this problem....

The exception message was clear that. "pwdf3102" not able to connect this host. Acually , that was not my system name. so, Please let me know the process for changing this entry "pwdf3102" with the actual system name.

many other fields above and below the cross tab. If the cross tab output goes to the next page dynamically then the other fields, present above and below the cross tab, should also be displayed. So i kept the fields above the cross tab report as header and the fields below the cross tab as footer using <?start:body?> and <?end body?>. When i preview the RTF then am getting the desired output with headers and footers repeating in all the pages.
If i call this RTF from another main template(import RTF) then am getting error java.lang.NullPointerException.
If i change <?start:body?> and <?end body?> to <?body-start?> and <?body-end?> then am getting the output. But the header and footer is printed in 1st page only and not printed from 2nd page.
Can anyone please suggest how to display the headers and footers in all pages.

Thanks for ur replay. I also tried creating header and footer and called from the template(summary.RTF). If i preview the template then it is working fine. Headers and footers are displayed in all the pages. But if i call this summary.RTF from another main template then headers and footers are dispalyed in the 1st page only. I cant call the headers and footers from the main template since the main template calls many other templates apart from Summary.RTF. This headers and footers should be displayed only for Summary.RTF

Hi All,
I am loading data from ODS to another ODS and cube.
here i am getting the following error:
<b>Arithmetical errors or conversion errors found in routine ROUTINE_0009 record 1525</b>
Could any one suggest what is this error and what to do?

Hi,
when is your error happening? During URules or TRules?
if you have routines in URules, search fro "routine_" in the activated program.
You can check the same in TRules (menu extras / display program / transfer program); routine are searchable with "compute_" and conversion with "conversion".
But before going into the ABAP, can't you describe the error message better and identify in the monitor when does it happen?
