Error in Deleting Request in DSO (Problems related to table RSTSODSPART)

I transfered data from one DSO to another DSO. After selecting the request and clicking the Delete in the second DSO, I found this error message
<b>'Request is already (partially) activated; no further QM action possible'.</b>
Then, I went to the log table. It shows me this msg.
<b>'Data inconsistency; Partition /BIC/B0001371000 not deleted' Message no. RSAR026</b>
(The table /BIC/B0001371000 is the Change log table of the second DSO.)
In the long text, SAP tries to explain something related to this table <b>RSTSODSPART. Please tell me what this table is used for.</b>
Then, I checked data in this table (RSTSODSPART). It shows me <b>one record which is the changed log table name (/BIC/B0001371000) with the Del Flag marked as 'X'.</b>
1) How can I delete this request in the second DSO?
2) Why is that record put into this table?
(I tried deleting this record from the table RSTSODSPART and then delete the request again. It works well, but I'm not sure if it is harmful to delete data from this table directly)

Hi..
try this ...........
The 'RSAR_PSA_CLEANUP_DIRECTORY' program checks the PSA tables in the systems against the directory entries. It also checks for inconsistencies related to partitions.
The program has the following options/fields:
Persistent Staging Area/Technical ODS Name:(RADNAME/RADTECH) These are radiobutton options. The option 'Persistent Staging Area' allows to find the inconsistencies based on the name of the PSA that is entered through the select options. The other option 'Technical ODS name' finds the inconsistencies based on the technical name of the PSA.
Persistent Staging Area/Technical ODS Name:(PODSNAME/PODSTECH) These are input fields and would be visible based on the radiobutton checked in the above option.
In directory, not in PSA:(DELDIR) This option if clicked will check the existence of requests which are present in the PSA directory (in table RSTSODSREQUEST) but do not exist physically (in the PSA). This option will also display the number of requests and the records physically existing for the PSA.
Partition Errors/Info:(NODROP)  This option displays inconsistent behavior of the partitioned PSAs where all the requests are deleted logically (in table RSTSODSPART) but the partition is not dropped. It also displays the information about the ratio of logically deleted requests to total requests, ratio of logically deleted records to total records and their percentage, for a given partition.
The logs created by this program can later be accessed by transaction 'SLG1' using the following select conditions:
Object                  = 'RSAR'
Subobject               = 'METADATA'
External ID = 'RSAR_CLEANUP_PSA_DIRECTORY'
Depending on the release of your BW system, the program 'RSAR_PSA_CLEANU
P_DIRECTORY' is contained in the Support Packages below. Alternatively,
you can use the attached correction instructions. Note that first, the
program header for the program 'RSAR_PSA_CLEANUP_DIRECTORY' must be
created with the attributes 'Executable Program' for the development
class 'RSAR'. You can then copy the source code from the correction
instructions.

    Hi Dinesh,
    Thanks for your reply.
    We have Netweaver 7.30 with BW on hana on SP 9.
    First 3 SAP notes doesn't meets the need.
    Shall I use 1007717 note?
    Which says:
         use transaction SE16 to delete all entries for this request and for this Operational Data Store (ODS) object from the RSICCONT, RSMONICDP, RSODSACTUPDTYPE and RSODSACTREQ tables. Then set the 'from-date' in the administration of the data target to a value older than the oldest request loaded in this ODS object. Choose 'Refresh'. This corrects the administration.
    Will it resolves the problem?
    Kindly suggest.

    Hello BI Experts,
    We have been deleted requests from standard DSO accidentally. The data has been deleleted for 3yrs and we have been trying to recover from Reconstruction tab but could not found anything there.
    Can any body tell me how to recover recover deleted requests from DSO? I would really appreciate your great help.
    Thanks in advance,

    HI BI Experts,
    When we personalize Query language to another language in the SAP Portal, the variable selection fields are not displaying with description and they are displaying in the technical name.
    Example: Opened BI report from the SAP Portal and selected Personalized settings, from there selected Portal language as French. when I selected French language, the vaiable selection screen field names started appearing with technical field name in the French language but it should display the field description not the technical name.
    I hope you understand my question.
    End user does not understand the technical names when they have selected personal language. Can any body tell me how can the fields displays with description from the variable selection screen. I would really apprecite your help.
    Thanks,

  • Error while activating request in DSO

    COPA Data is successfully uploaded to DSO from PSA.
    DSO -> Manage -> Activate -> Start  -> Displaying error msg :
    Request 122,317 is currently being read from data target ZCOPA_O1
    Message no. RSENQ011
    Have deleted the request from DSO and again loaded, still error persists. Please help.
    Regards

    even if you get the error message it will show you the Data flow.
    Just check which cube or DSO is reading data from this particular DSO for which activation is failing.
    May be that load is still running or some entries are still there in control tables...this is preventing from activation...
    PS: In my last message I wanted to know what is this ZCOPA_O1 ?
    Is this your DSO or Open Hub Destination?

  • BW: Error during Delete Overalpping requests from a cube 0PCA_C01

    Hello Experts
    For the past 1 week, I am getting the following error in a process chain when trying to do Delete Overlapping requests from a cube.
    The error I am getting is:
    The chain failed while deleting the overlapping requests from 0PCA_C01 with an error messages "Error when deleting requests for comparison request" & "Deletion of request REQU_DBC7DZ51QY from data target 0PCA_C01 failed"
    CL_RSDRD_REQ_PHYS_DEL:REQUEST_DELETE RSDU_FACT_REQUID_DELETE SQL-ERROR: 0
    reqdel_infocube_with_aggr-0PCA_C01 CL_RSDRD_REQ_PHYS_DEL:REQUEST_DELETE RSDU_FACT_REQUID_DELETE
    Deletion of request REQU_DBCFVY9N1691OYQYNCMUGCSGM(290265) from InfoCube 0PCA_C01 terminated
    Error deleting request REQU_DBCFVY9N1691OYQYNCMUGCSGM from InfoCube 0PCA_C01. Exception: Unknown error
    Any suggestions on how to fix this problem permanently..i mean any SAP Note to be applied or any adjusting the database tables?
    Thanks
    Jyothi

    Hi Jyothi,
      This error usually comes because of presence of zombie ./ bad request. I would suggest you to check few of the tables and search for your request "REQU_DBCFVY9N1691OYQYNCMUGCSGM" in them if you are able to find it then delete that entry from there, there after you should not face error. Check if the request mentioned above is present in the below mentioned tables? If yes delete them from there.
    RSREQICODS, RSTSODS, , RSICCONT, RSODSACTREQ.
    Also check if the notes mentioned in the below thread are applicable in your case?
    Error when deleting requests in cube
    Thanks

  • BW:  Error during Delete Overalpping requests from a cube

    Hello, I am getting the following error in a process chain for the last few days when trying to do Delete Overlapping requests from a cube.   If I do a "repeat" the chain completes successfully.
    The error I am getting is:
    Error when deleting requests for comparison request REQU_4MNC5NXH00MJI1LRHAFV3I3BH
    Deletion of request REQU_4MQ0NT0ISDRZA444OQRDBGC3X from data target ZZCCA_C11 failed
    Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?
    Thanks.

    Hi Sam,
    The job might be failing because the request might me compressed. Take the request id from the error message(for instance
    REQU_4MQ0NT0ISDRZA444OQRDBGC3X here) and check whether this request is compressed in the target ZZCCA_C11 or not.
    If it is compressed then the data target deletion step will fail obviously.
    If this is the case then change the setting of the compression step in the PC to compress the requests loaded 15 days back or whichever you feel comfortable.
    If this is not the case then please check the job log once why the deletion is failing.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Vijay.

  • Delete in xsql:dml vs xsql:delete-request and returned rows attribute

    There is a difference in the number of rows returned between using a delete in xsql:dml vs xsql:delete-request. If I issue a delete via xsql:dml and the row I wish to delete is not in the table, then I get a result with rows equal to 0 as expected. However if I issue a delete via xsql:delete-request and the row I wish to delete is again not in the table, then I get a result with rows equal to 1.
    It appears that the value of rows in the response to xsql:delete-request is the number of rows to be processed, ie the number of rows in the posted document, whereas the value of rows in the response to xsql:dml is the number of rows processed in the database.
    I'd expect that the result that we want is the number of rows processed in the database. Thus xsql:delete-request should use the rows attribute in the response to reflect the number of rows processed in the database and thus be consistent with xsql:dml, and possibly use another attribute to reflect the number of rows to be processed.
    The same problem occurs with an update in xsql:dml vs xsql:update-request.
    http://aetius/xsql/demo/dmldelete.xsql?cxn=demo&bind=ename&ename=COMPAQ&sql=delete+from+EMP+where+ENAME+%3d+?
    result is
    <xsql-status action="xsql:dml" rows="0"/>
    where dmldelete.xsql is
    <xsql:dml
    null-indicator="yes"
    connection="{@cxn}"
    bind-params="{@bind}"
    xmlns:xsql="urn:oracle-xsql">
    {@sql}
    </xsql:dml>

    <ROWSET><ROW><ENAME>COMPAQ</ENAME></ROW></ROWSET>
    result
    <xsql-status action="xsql:delete-request" rows="1"/>
    where reqdelete.xsql is
    <xsql:delete-request
    connection="{@cxn}"
    key-columns="{@key}"
    table="{@table}"
    xmlns:xsql="urn:oracle-xsql">
    </xsql:delete-request>
    Steve.

    If you post as an HTML parameter, then you can directly reference the parameter value as either a lexical parameter:
    <xsql:dml>
    insert into foo(xml_column) values ('{@paramname}')
    </xsql:dml>
    or as a bind parameter:
    <xsql:dml bind-params="paramname">
    insert into foo(xml_column) values (?)
    </xsql:dml>
    I'd recommend the latter since it's more robust to the presence of quotes in the XML that's being posted.
    If you post the XML HTTP body, then you'd have to write a custom action handler that called the getPageRequest().getPostedDocument() to get hold of the posted XML Document.

  • Unable to delete request from write-optimized DSO (Error during rollback)

    Hi Gurus,
    I am trying to delete a delta request from a Write-Optimized DSO. This request was uploaded with a DTP from another Write-optimized DSO.
    The actual overall status of the request is RED and the description of that status is now: 'Error during rollback of request DTPR_4JW6NLSVDUNYY3GTD6F4DQJWR; only rollback allowed'.
    I checked the log of all Request Operations in DataStore (from the same line where the red request is now) and I see my several attemps to delete this request under a RED radiobutton with the title Rollback.  The details for this error are the following:

  • Exchange 2013 EAC shows "error Sorry, your request couldn't be completed. Try deleting the cookies from your browser, and then sign in again. If the problem continues, contact your helpdesk."

    Hi,
    My Exchange 2013 Hybrid environment is at CU5 level. Multiple administrators have started experiencing the error message
    "error
    Sorry, your request couldn't be completed. Try deleting the cookies from your browser, and then sign in again. If the problem continues, contact your helpdesk."
    It only started two weeks ago and did not coincide with any infrastructure changes. The message occurs when clicking anything on the EAC GUI and it eventually allows you to perform the operation but only after the message
    pops up a few times.
    I have tried clearing the browser cookies, history, etc. Note that using the Office 365 EAC does not yield the same messages and it only happens in IE (IE 11).
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    From your description, please make sure that the "Require SSL" is checked in IIS Manager -> Sites -> Exchange Back End -> ECP -> SSL Settings.
    What's more, ensure that EAC site is added to the “Compatibility Mode”.
    Hope this can be helpful to you.

  • Problem in deleting a request from Dso

    Hi Experts,
    I have loaded the request into DSO, after activation, i have changed the QM status to red and try to delete it from the manage screen. But it is not getting deleted from DSO.
    I have used following tables :
    RSREQDONE
    RSICCONNT
    RSODSACTREQ
    For deletion purpose, but i'm not provided with authorization ..
    And also i have used FM to delete the request from DSO , but it also failed ..
    Can you please help me out in this regard..
    Thanks
    PT

    Hi,
          Please check if your DSO is locked by any other process.  You can check the lock status from SM12. If your DSO is locked by some other process, you will have to wait till that process finishes or kill the process if it is not required so that your DSO will be unlocked. Once your DSO is unlocked you can retry activation. If this doesn't work, please check if you have the authorization to delete data. after trying to delete the DSO you can run the transaction SU53 to see if there is any authorization failure.
    Hope this helps you.
    Thanks,
    Nithin Reddy.
