Error in dunning run
We had a dunning run in which we were expecting to get almost 10,000 SVNs (pre termination notifications) but we only got 370 of them.
I checked the dunning proposal and activity runs and everything is okay. The back. jobs also finished succesfully.
When i try to open the application logs from fpvb, i get a pop up saying that " <account # of the 371st contract that i was expecting"> was not closed. !!
tech info shows its message no. EMMA142
any idea why the dunning activity only processed a few and what can else can i check ?
Edited by: sahil shangari on May 7, 2008 5:01 PM
Hello,
Check whether any one might have working on that contract...or if there is parallel job...it might be updating info in that contract....
As per Standard SAP, Dunning wud not work if any opens the contract/contact account/BP during Dunning run
Hope this helps

Dunning Run - Printing Termination Error

We have a dunning run dated 20-Dec-2006 that is repeatedly giving the error 'Printout terminated'. This dunning run has also locked some of the customer accounts. As a result, we are not able to carry out further dunning runs.
Please advise urgently how to solve the problem.
Thanks & Regards,

Dunning has been carried out succesfully throughout the previous year till 20-Dec-2006.
The customer master record has not been updated with this dunning run. How to delete the update?
I have SAP_ALL so what else would I need to delete the dunning run.

Account is blocked by dunning run
Hi,
after i have run dunning for customers and if i look into log i see that for some customers dunning didn't run.
Account D 0000010900 is blocked by dunning run 20080820 82008.
There is any transaction where i can block/unbloc customers for dunning? From where came that blocking?
Any idea/hint/clue would be apreciated.
Thank you.Hi Dan,
With reference to the above issue, please have a look at note 186095.
186095 Error message FM120 during dunning
Actually the concept behind blocking customer accounts is to avoid multiple dunning against the same customer account. However once the the dunning run was completely finished and gets printed the lock must get removed on those customer accounts. But some times there is a chance that lock entries shall not get deleted from the table MAHNS. In that case you can make use of the attached notes 186095 to manually delete the blocked entries from the table MAHNS.
Also please check the other following notes relevant to the issue
12896 Deleting lock entries in MAHNS
9826 Account && is blocked by dunning run <date>
Hope it helps.

Hi ,
When I am executing f150 for a particular customer ( ex. Customer A ) , I am getting an error like cutomer A is blocked by dunning run XXXX
If i go to that dunning run XXXX i come to know that it was executed and then deleted.
And in the customer master of A , dunning level is 3 mentioned.
Why i am getting the error for Customer A.
ThanksHi Muscan,
Please check the date's. As per my understanding this will be basing date's problem.
Check Line item grace periods and Dunning interval days in your dunning procedure.
For example, you have customer invoice on 1st jan 2008,
And in dunning procedure line item grace period is 2 days and dunning interval days 10 days..
you need to run for 1st dunning run on 4th jan, if you run before that it won't execute. and for next levels, you need to add 10days to the 1st interval..
Hope this will help you.. -
Posting of Interest in Dunning Run
Hi All,
I have configured Dunning and in the letter generated it displays the Dunning Charges as well as applicable Interest, which is correct according to the configuration.
However the same is not debited to the customer account. I have maintained all necessary account determinations for the indicator assigned to dunning procedure.
Kindly let me know how to post interest and charges to the customer through dunning run( F150).
Thanks in Advance.
Regards,
AjayHi Jan,
To the best of my knowledge, with the documentation of dunning available on help.sap.com, it seems that dunning provided the functionality of posting also. And to me that looks logical also. If i have generated the letter and say some customer paid the interest ort dunning charge, how will the company account for that.
Second thing is manually doing the interest posting will be very hectic and prone to errors in case customer base is too high.
Third thing, when we are telling custmer that this is the amount which will be charged from you, than why not post it also simultaneously to the respctive accounts.
Please throw some more light. Also to me its still not clear that whether its posible in dunning to post interest and dunning charges documents?
Any authentic link/documentation in this regard will be very useful for me.
Thanks

Hi All,
While executing the dunning run ( T-code FPVA ),
First i saved the dunning run ID.
When i scheduled it, iam getting error that
"There are no internal numbers which have not been assigned"
Can some one tell me where i have missed the configuration ?
Regards
HaricharanHaricharan,
Pls refer SAP Note 732878. You need to maintain no ranges using T-code 'SNUM' for EMMA_RUNID.
With out this, you get no ranges error for all mass programs like FPY1, FPMA, FPVA etc.
Hope this helps

Error while Activating / running Bex queries/reports
Hello
I have following ERRORs while activating / running BEx reports/queries.
1. While Activating BEx reports, I keel getting following ERRORS
Object directory entry R3TR ELEM E341OIR6G715GUMGN0MRXP3MA does not exist
Error when activating element BX7FOOKQB4588RROCBTC2YVZN
BEx transport request 'BIDK901352' is not available or not suitable
2. While running the BEx report/query in Bex Analyzer, I'm getting ERROR in entering the parameters, its NOT allowing / giving me option to select the parameters, for example for 0COSTCENTER, it is NOT displaying list costcenters to select before I can RUN that particular report.
3. How can I trouble shoot ERRORs related to BEx and Portal connectivity.
4. How would I setup the Variants for a Bex query/report ? Are these Variants for per user basis / per report basis. Can I have each variant for particular users OR all users must select their own variant each time when they RUN the report ?
Thanks, Sorry I have asked multiple questions, in jst one thread.
BIGoto SE03 -->Search for Objects in Requests/Tasks option , select the object type and execute it will give all the transports it has collected before ..
Also you can use transport connection in RSA1 and select the query and find out all the objects in query locked by what request etc ..
Thanks,

Runtime Error -GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED when running COI
Hi ALL,
We are getting run time error - GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED when running COI tasks.
Error analysis
You attempted to access an unassigned field symbol
(data segment 32995).
This error may occur for any of the following reasons:
- You address a typed field symbol before it is set using ASSIGN
- You address a field symbol that points to a line in an internal table
that has been deleted
- You address a field symbol that had previously been reset using
UNASSIGN, or that pointed to a local field that no longer exists
- You address a global function interface parameter, even
though the relevant function module is not active,
that is it is not in the list of active calls. You can get the list
of active calls from the this short dump.
How to correct the error
You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
use the following search criteria:
"GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED" C
"CL_UC_COI_ACT_PT==============CP" or "CL_UC_COI_ACT_PT==============CM00P"
"REDUCE_GOODWILL_ENTRIES"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and you wish to send
an error message to SAP, include the following documents:
1. A printout of the problem description (short dump)
To obtain this, select in the current display "System->List->
Save->Local File (unconverted)".
2. A suitable printout of the system log
To obtain this, call the system log through transaction SM21.
Limit the time interval to 10 minutes before and 5 minutes
after the short dump. In the display, then select the function
"System->List->Save->Local File (unconverted)".
3. If the programs are your own programs or modified SAP programs,
supply the source code.
To do this, select the Editor function "Further Utilities->
Upload/Download->Download".
4. Details regarding the conditions under which the error occurred
or which actions and input led to the error.
Information on where terminated
The termination occurred in the ABAP program "CL_UC_COI_ACT_PT==============CP"
in "REDUCE_GOODWILL_ENTRIES".

SharePoint Foundation 2010, hotfix install fail "An error occurred while running detection"
Hi all,
I am having a lot of trouble installing hotfix 2849990 on my server. After running it shows the error "An error occurred while running detection". I tried another hotfix as well but got the same result. I read on the web to do a "repair"
but I cannot seem to access that. I attempting to run the install to get there, I click "Install SharePoint Foundation" a new window begins and I can see a new window open that reads "Please wait while setup prepares the necessarily files"
Very shortly after this opens, it then closes and nothing else happens.
Anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks! Thanks for the quick reply. Here is the Folder I am looking in:

How to use Adobe forms with F150 Dunning Run
Hi,
I want to use Adobe forms with the transaction F150 Dunning Run.
How do I get the adobe form in customizing? I have put the FM 'FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_PDF' in business transaction Event, BF31 - P/S modules of SAP app - 00001720, Fi-FI. But it is still not recognizing the ADOBE form.
Any help is greatly appreciated.Hi,
I am also working for calling custom adobe form instead of sapscript.
While configuring BTE 1720, i noticed that configuring BTE only FI-FI application does not solve the purpose. You need to assign function module FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_PDF for all Application Area Indicator.
Adding to IS-PS will allow to print for customer.
This solved my problem. But this setting is global so you need to take care of it. -
Dear all,
does anybody know if it's possible to cancel a dunning run after the notices have been printed (except manually by changing all documents and all master data)
StefanHi,
F150-> Menu Bar -> Extras -> Authorisations.
Please check if you have authorisations for delete dunning notice and contact your basis team for access.

Centralized Dunning run and local printing requirement
Hello SAP FICO experts,
I have a requirement at my client as follows.
To schedule dunning run centrally for all company codes or selected company codes periodically and automatically.
Ability to print dunning letters in local offices in each country.
So far the users are manually scheduling the dunning run, going forward they want to automate the dunning run centrally and print dunning letters manually in each country.
Please advise me on what are the steps to implement this solution.
Thanks in Advance,
RamanaHi Devendar
You should maintain the factory calender properly. As per your replay it has been mentioned that dunning procedure requires Holiday calender which is all right. But Holiday calender is always integrated with factory calender and you are assigning Holiday calender means factory calender is also linked with dunning procedure. Pl see the screen shot how it is integrated. In this screen saturday & sunday is holiday with other public holiday as under.
Therefore make the above . It is working properly. If due date falls on friday with 2 days of grace, in that case if you run the dunning notice on monday ,1st notice will be generated. Regarding the resetting of grace what you have mentioned will not be there. Because the customer has already availed 2 days of grace with in the holiday and giving another extra 2 days as grace by resetting is not possible in the system. Logically it is not required also, you can explain the client.
Actually the grace period is there to generate the dunning notice after the grace period is over only and nothing else. The real over due date is calculated from the due date of the bills. That is why it is not also logical to make again delay in generating dunning notice by another 2 days by resetting the system, therefore not provided in the system.
Pl go through and award points if helpful.

How to delete the dunning run and dunning notice?
Hello everyone,
If I created a dunning run with a future date and this has been printed, then I can not delete this dunning, so I just delete the job. But when I try to create a new dunning for the same customer, the system do not allowed me to dunned again. Is there anyone can help me on this issue?
thanks in advance and Best regards,
MariaHi,
if you have executed a dunning run up to the Dunning selection executed, then you can delete the run from the menu path Dunning notices -> Delete dunning run. This will not delete the parameters, only the selection run. customers will be released from dunning block.
However, if you have executed the print, i.e. your dunning run has the status, dunning notice printed, then you will not be able to delete it using this route. The customers block is released when the print out is taken.
If you want to delete the run, then you can try re-organising the run, using the menu path Environment - Reorganisation. I am not sure whether this will release cusomers, try it on a test system and see.
Cheers.
