Error in format

In resin this program work just fine, one exception. In dos it prints out, "Error in format".
I then tried to run it in tomcat, tomcat then printed out a error.
"java.lang.IllegalStateException: getWriter() has already been called for this response"

}When does this error occur, what is wrong then?

  • Epson SX218 doesn't print (client-error-document-format-not-supported)

    Hi there,
I'm currently trying to figure out how to get my Epson Stylus SX 218 to work. Unfortunately, cups (or the printer or whatever causes my problems...) obviously just doesn't want me to get this to work.
Here's what I've done so far:
I installed everything as described in the CUPS wiki article (so ghostscript and all the foomatic-stuff is installed, usblp is NOT blacklisted, see why below)
    I installed epson-inkjet-printer-workforce-sx218 from AUR
    I started cups...
Nothing worked (Printer not recognized, either with or without blacklisted usblp module...)
I searched the forums for a solution
I installed cups-usblp and reinstalled all the cups stuff
    Printer got recognized! Yay!
So, now the printer is set up in cups using the avasys driver. But...
    It doesn't print!
When I try to print a test page via the cups webinterface it keeps telling me
    Unsupported format "application/vnd.cups-banner".
The following packages are installed now:
    $ pacman -Qs cups
    local/cups-usblp 1.5.0-1
    local/libcups 1.5.0-1
    $ pacman -Qs foomatic
    local/foomatic-db 1:4.0.7_20110707-1
    local/foomatic-db-engine 1:4.0.7_20110707-1
    local/foomatic-db-nonfree 1:4.0.7_20110707-1
    local/foomatic-filters 1:4.0.7_20110707-1
    $ pacman -Qs epson
    local/epson-inkjet-printer-workforce-320-sx218 1.0.0-6
    $ pacman -Qs ghostscript
    local/ghostscript 9.04-5

    Thank you very much!

    Hi Radhakrishnan,
ORARRP doesn't actually do any printing itself. Via COM/Active-X, it calls the appropriate program that corresponds to the type of output, and then this program does the actual printing. For PDF, it calls Acrobat Reader to print the document. Acrobat Reader displays the printer dialog to let you choose which printer to use, and then when you click OK, Acrobat Reader prints the document and sends it to the printer.
I expect that you'll find that when you use Acrobat Reader yourself on this machine it has exactly the same problems with this particular printer configuration. If so, you'll need to contact Adobe for further assistance.
    regards,
    Stewart

  • JDBC Receiver: FATAL ERROR document format: invalid level 4

    Hi,
I am creating an IDOC -JDBC scenario .
The XML created has action as delete.
but in the comminication channel i am  getting an error which is
Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Error processing request in sax parser: Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'T_SAP_WBS' (structure 'statement1'): java.sql.SQLException: FATAL ERROR document format: invalid level 4' found (structure 'statement1')
does any one have any idea on this?
    Regards,
    Tarun Bahal

    Hi,
The JDBC format which you are using is incorrect.....please maintain the format as mentioned in this document...there seems to be some mismatch
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/2e/96fd3f2d14e869e10000000a155106/content.htm
By maintaining the format i mean:
    1) maintain the hierarchy as mentioned in the link
    2) maintain the case (upper/ lower) for the standard elements (you seem to be using statement1 instead of Statement)
    3) If there are no multiple stattements then have the name as Statement
If still facing the problem....provide your structure in sdn
    Regards,
    Abhishek.

  • IDVD "error during formatting"

ok so this is my first movie...and I must say I had to figure a lot of things by myself...dispite all of the help from others and what seemed to work for others on forums, discusions, so on and so forth...it didn't help for me...so I ussually have to figure these things out on my own...but I thought I would give it a try in asking anyway.
PLEASE MAKE YOUR ANSWER UNDERSTANDABLE NOT LONG AND IF POSSIBLE GIVE INSTRUCTIONS!!! (thank u X3)
If you are still reading this then thank you :3 lol
    ok firstly
    (1) there is no problem with how many videos and how much music I have on the menu(s), trust me...I know
    (2) I have much content...(don't make me count)...I have a movie and extras...but like I said that shouldn't be a problem
    (3) I have made a dvd before and it worked fine!
Short Summery (and by short I mean moderately not too long)
At first my movie contained too many sub-menus in my extras (too many being 4) (most people said the problem was because of too much video in the sub-menu...well...they were wrong) so I reduced it down to 3 and it seemed fine, but then I ran into another problem...there was just too much content...so I when to project> project info> and changed it to high quality.
I later wondered, if I put it on "profesional quality" would it allow me to have all 4 of my original sub-menus? I ended up putting my dvd in, and checked to see what the quality looked like (which it looked nothing like how it looked on my computer!! POOR QUALITY!!....or I could just be saying that because I'm a perfectionist and things like that bother me....ok....to the normal human eye the quality was fine)
I wanted to change a few things, so I decided "what the 'hey'" and changed it to professional quality and it was fine, there was no error or anything, so I left it like that.
I fixed the movie up, checked for errors (there were none) and started to burn my DVD (which btw took a whole 5hrs!!!) and in the end it stopped and said "error durring formatting" I mean....WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THIS BEFORE YOU RUINED MY DVD??!! AND DID IT HAVE TO TAKE 5HRS FOR YOU TO REALIZE THIS??!!?!?!?!?!? and it only told me there was an error....would you like to tell me WHY????
What I believe the problem might be
possibly I'm thinking it might have to do with either
    (a) profesional quality does not change the fact there are too many sub-menus and idvd is just too dumb to tell me this ahead of time
    (b) I forget at the moment .... but you get the idea
    PLEASE TELL ME YOUR THOUGHTS
I'm extremely angry because I had to take 2 sub menus, then change them back, and then wait 5 hrs to be told there was an error in the very ending of the making of my movie!! (not to mention some other problems I had...but I'll leave them out) I wanted to get this done soon, and apparently that's not going to happen HELP ME!!!!!

WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THIS BEFORE YOU RUINED MY DVD??!! AND DID IT HAVE TO TAKE 5HRS FOR YOU TO REALIZE THIS??!!?!?!?!?!?
You can always check the capacity meter / project info in iDvd. Green means you're good to go whereas red indicates you'll likely have issues when it comes to dvd quality and/ or encoding. Assuming it does show green, then burn a disc image from the file menu in iDvd and test playback with apple's dvd player app prior to burning. Far fewer coasters this way.

  • AVReceive2 gives error:  No format has been registered for RTP Payload type

    Hello,
I am using the AVReceive2 program (http://java.sun.com/products/java-media/jmf/2.1.1/solutions/AVReceive.html#requirements) as posted to hopefully play back RTP in real time. I have it set to receive a known good RTP stream and I receive the following error:
No format has been registered for RTP Payload type 8
I have seen posts for a similar error but it seemed to be in the context of an A-law add on which am I not doing. Am I missing a plug-in or modification to the code?
    thanks in advance,
    Erich

    Hi Erich,
I have the same problem when I using AVReceive2.java .Could yuo describe your solution in order to solve the issue?
In order to create the RTP stream I used VLC and is impossible to change the encapsulation method and then the payload type .
What kind of streaming server are yuo used?
My e-mail address is [email protected]
If you can , please write me your proceeding in order to solve the problem.
    Thank you

  • Can anyone advise on this error: "Timeline", Error: "invalid format", Code: "14", Note: "Unknown

    Hello,
Attempting to author a basic Blu-ray disc.  Everything appears to be ok when I run the build check to make sure that the disc will write out correctly.  When I start to build and burn the disc, Encore begins to import the video asset, and then quits with the following error message:
Blu-ray Object: "<Timeline> Untitled Timeline", Error: "invalid format", Code: "14", Note: "Unknown exception"
Does anyone have any thoughts regarding this error?  In the project timeline, everything plays ok - picture and sound.  I am importing a MPEG-2 file that came out of Compressor as an .m2v file.  Not sure if this could be the cause of the invalid format.  If so, odd that it imports into the project and simulates ok.
    Thanks,
    Mtbakerstu

    Thanks Stan.
The project originates in Final Cut Pro, so it is easier for me to export out directly from FCP than to make an intermediate file to go into Premiere Pro.  Also, going directly makes it more fool proof in terms of potential downstream issues with the MPEG encode.
That said, do you have a file format recommendation if I were to export a master file out of FCP, and then import into PP ?
Regarding if I want the M2V to work, do you know what setting might be causing the error... presuming that's the issue.  Does it make sense that I would be able to see the video file workin in Encore, but when I try to then "build" it fails?
    Thanks again, feedback most appreciated!

  • Blu-ray Object: "Sept-Nov_2008", Error: "invalid format", Code: "14", Note: "ERROR: This stream does

I am trying to transcode a self contained FCP quicktime movie file and I get the message - Blu-ray Object: "Sept-Nov_2008", Error: "invalid format", Code: "14",
Note: "ERROR: This stream doesn't include Picture timing SEI, Unit Offset = 785835706". I am going to use quicktime pro 7 to import  a quicktime movie instead of FCP self contained file into encore. But if anybody has any suggestions, please let me know. I have read about wrong field orders but I am using a custom preset with the field order set to upper (odd) - since I am using a Apple ProRes 422 (proxy) for the FCP sequence.

  • I get the following error when formatting a external hard drive. Partition failed with the error:  POSIX reports: The operation couldn't be completed. Cannot allocate memory

I get the following error when formatting a external hard drive.

I have a Macbook pro 13" A1278. I purchased it around december 2010. I have a HHD 3.5" drive desktop select II 1.5TB. I purchased it around Febuary/March 2011 to use with my Macbook pro. I formatted it and moved all my files to there, I got it so my macbook's hard drive wouldn't brake and I lose everything on my macbook.
    Is there any fixes?

First, try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."

  • Error during formatting

I edited my project with final cut pro, when I try to burn a DVD i get the message
"Multiplexer Error there was an error during formatting" when I use iDVD
when I try using toast 8 I get the same problem. Can somebody tell me where do I start
trying to solve this problem. Thanks

Not sure what type of burner you have but it may be the media you're using. Try using a DVD-R and a 4x or less

  • I get error "audio format not compatable" when downloading music from the itunes store

I get error "audio format not compatable" when syncing ipod classic.  Music purchased from itunes store.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

I'm trying to burn an iMovie in iDVD and at the end of the whole burn process it says "Multiplexer Error" "there was an error during formatting".  How do I fix it so that it'll burn?

    Hi
Multiplexing error is a very complex problem due to many things (long long list following) - one common but not obvious reason is that material on the iDVD menu goes outside the TV-Safe area (or just touching it).
So first - turn on TV-Safe area and move any object well inside of this.
Wide screen stretched - usually (as I think) it is due to making a 4x3 movie in a 16x9 wide-screen project OR the other way around. This forces one to on flat-screen TV (or other) set the presenting view right - My has 4x3, wide-screen, zoom and auto-wide-screen and I have to switch this by my remote for some DVD I've made "wrong" way.
Now my long long list on Multiplex Error
    LONG LONG LONG LIST
    Multiplexing Error
    PART One.
Use of strange video/audio material e.g. .avi, .wmv, .mp3 etc.
    I only use.
Video - StreamingDV (miniDV tape via FireWire) and
Audio - .aiff (as on audio-CDs) (else converted to this .aiff 48KHz)
Photo - .jpg (.bmp known problematic)
    Chapters !
    A.    Using strange letters in video project name e.g. +,/; etc. keep to a-z and 0-9 strange letters in project name e.g. +
as described by Donnyboy69.  Does the title of your project have any symbols or decimal points in it. If so, that is why you are getting the error. I had a project that had a + sign which caused the same problem. I renamed it without the symbol and low and behold, it worked.
    B.    Location of Chapters
    • Can’t be at start or end of movie (Skip first/start one - iDVD sets this by it self. At the End - no need)
    • Not in a transition (or within 2-3 seconds from it)
Important when from iMovie HD6 or previous - Now also observed when using FCE 4
    PART Two.

"Multiplexing Error. Problem during initialization of tracks"
Simply remember to add subtitles to your Quicktime files and menu buttons.
Once I did that, I was back in business.

Do a safe reboot (by holding down the shift key until you see the spinning gear on gray background, then release, then restart when your start-up screen appears).
I always makes a DiskImage first and test this so that it runs OK
I use only - Verbatim DVDs
    I use only - DVD-R
I burn at an as slow speed possibly e.g. x1
    This gives good DVDs
    PART Three.
    Multiplex Error
    Chuck, Chicago 2/7/2009.
Back again. Here is what I have found to work. I also have and use a LaCie DVD-R/RW DL external drive and a LaCie external hard drive as well. Since yesterday I have tried a few ways to burn a themed iDVD project having four 56 minute movies on it, amounting to 226 minutes onto a DVD DL disc, capacity 240 minutes. Apple tech support really didn't know what to do but gave me a very good tip. I had two options left. Apple tech support's tip was to try disc image. One of the replies on a thread with this subject said not to, but my experience today is good. Put your project onto "Burn to disc image," under "iDVD, file." Yesterday encoding took me 23 1/2 hours. Overnight for iDVD disc image, encoding took 21 1/2 hours (again) while I slept. This morning I tried to copy/burn disc image to a DVD with Roxio Toast 7, and it stopped near the end of the burn with some kind of "error" message. So then I tried Utilities> Disc Utility> Burn icon, and followed it through. Be sure to click the DVD DL drive in the window "Burn disc in.". I had one other problem though. At the end of a 46 minute copy, it started to verify, and at the end of verify it rejected the burn. So I tried again, and when "verify" appeared, I clicked on "Skip." The disc finished burning and is doing fine and well. A long and tortuous process, but at last something works. I made several additional copies using Disc Utility. Best wishes. Chuck, Chicago.
    2. Disconnect any other external devices not absolutely needed.
e.g. external USB/USB2 hard disks, other FW hard disks etc.

(Not a 'guy' but I will answer!)
First, I do not think that mixing wide-screen and standard makes a difference in iDVD.
Second, you should use a better brand of DVD disk. Also, many of us have experienced fewer problems on playback with DVD-R disks. Recommended brands here are Verbatim, Maxell and Taiyo Yuden. Memorex and TDK are not consistent and may not give you a correct burn. They apparently have fewer layers in the composition of the disk. I have always used Verbatim DVD-R disks and have not had any burn problems.
Also, choose a slower burn speed, 4x or less.
Third, to determine if the iDVD project will burn properly, create a disk image file (from within iDVD, go File->Save as Disk Image) and test it. Mount the disk image and then open DVD Player (in Applications) and view your project. If it plays correctly, you can then burn the actual DVD disk from the disk image file using Disk Utility.

I did everything I've seen suggested, but a friend (who used to be an Apple Genius) suggested that I do a safe reboot (by holding down the shift key until you see the spinning gear on gray background, then release, then restart when your start-up screen appears).
It worked, and I got a clean burn from iDVD.
Hopefully this can help other people.

Well, I finally got it, and it was odd enough to post here incase anyone looks this topic up again. Many things were tried, including burning the unedited film, the edited film without titles and chapter markers, abbreviating the chapter markers in case length was the issue (remember the old iMovie used to truncate them when moving to iDVD?). In the process, I noticed that one, and only one, chapter marker was on the same line as the title marker. All the others were on the line above. The only way I seemed able to change that was to clip a few seconds of film. After that last clip, the offending marker took a place on the line above, as were all the others. That run published, compiled completely and burned. That's one for the books.
    One user more writes
To add my experience with Multiplex Errors using iDVD (7.0.4), I recently created two iDVD projects
Video from both passed from FCE 4.01 with chapters
One project worked fine in creating disk image file
    The other gave Multiplex Errors
I tried suggestions to remove special characters and no chapter marks at beginning, but nothing worked
Note that I've used iDVD for dozens of projects and this is first time I've run into Multiplex Errors
Anyway, for problem project, I tried an experiment where I removed all chapters in FCE and passed to new iDVD project
    This time multiplex errors gone
So had something to do with chapters
So now I tried numerous experiments to remove individual chapters and try again creating disk image with new iDVD project
After numerous tries, I was able to narrow problem down to 1 "Bad" chapter mark
That is, when I left the "bad" chapter in my FCE project and passed to iDVD, iDVD gave multiplex error
When I removed "bad" chapter mark (and others in), no multiplex error
As a final experiment, I moved "bad" chapter mark about 5-10 sec's beyond original point and passed to iDVD, the multiplex errors now magically went away and I was able to finally create my disk image.
I have no idea why this worked, but thought I'd mention here in case someone else runs into similar problem.

In addition to Bengt's fine advice, burning errors can occur if you have located any of your menu buttons wholly or partly outside of the safe TV viewing area. Go to your main project menu, then click on View/Show TV Safe Area, to check. Drag into the safe viewing area any buttons that are outside the safe viewing area.
    Russ One - suggest this
Multiplex Error-There was an error during muxing preparation
One thing that worked for me was to export the video w/o chapter markers as a self contained movie (thereby not loosing the edits & etc). Then make a new FCE project and import that movie into a new sequence and add the chapter markers. I've used "-", "&" and "," with no problem in the chapter names. Removing the markers or exporting without them did solve the problem but renaming them with just numbers 1,2,3....5, did not solve the problem and since this problem seems to happen with with iMovie as well, it would suggest the problem is in the video or audio and in combination with the chapter markers iDVD just can't handle it. The only other possibility is that both iMovie and FCE share the same or similar chapter marker code that some how is corrupting the markers.
    Summary - What to try
    1. Chapters
    • Only A to Z and 0 to 9 in chapter title
    • No Chapter mark at very beginning of movie
    • No Chapter mark in or within 2 seconds from any transition in movie
    2. TV-safe area for buttons (no one outside this)
    3. Safe re-boot
    4. No other external devices connected - that are not needed
    SDMacuser adds to this
    • On #4 ... No ext. devices. Some think this applies mainly to ext. FW. Not the case. Also applies to ext. USB2 as well (not to mention flash drives too).
Do not leave 3rd party devices / camera / camcorder plugged in unless it is being used with iDvd's One Step process. Certain web cams can trigger this also (especially ones with added features like LED light/s that draw additional power from the FW or USB bus).
    5. Minimum of 25Gb free space on Start-up hard disk
    6. Make a DiskImage first - reduces where problem originates
    7. Trash iDVD pref. file
    8. Make a new iDVD project
    9. Movies in project with same aspect ratio e.g. 4x3 or 16x9
    10. No other programs/applications running during iDVD process. e.g. Internet, screen & energy savers
