  • Error when implementing JPA domain model in separate JAR module

    Hi,
I'm using JPA/TopLink Essentials to implement my domain model and services. From an architectural viewpoint I want to implement this as seperate Java project, while my View/Controller is implemented in another Java project. This last project has a dependency on the Model project. Deployment on an OC4J 10.1.3 is ok, but when I use a JSP, I get the following error. (Note that directly implementing my JPA classes in the View/Controller project does not give any errors.)
    Thanx, Ronald

    Hello John,
Do you have the same issue with the latest version of Application Insights in Azure Portal?
AI Java Script was changed, and a lot of bugs were fixed since the moment you posted this question (sorry for my late reply, not my area of expertise at all, so I missed this thread initially...), so everything might be working as expected already.

  • ESB Implementation in Java to connect various services

    Hi,
I am looking to use ESB to integrate various webservices running in differenr platforms like one in Java,PHP and .NET.
I am using Oracle SOA Suite. Is there any examples in the internet how to do this? I am not able to find any? It will be really great if some can provide some light into this for the below points:-
    1) Setting up the ESB infrastructure
    2) ESB implementation in java
    3) To implement ESB we need to use only the JMS?
Please do provide some helping hand which will help me to understand it and complete the process.
    Thanks in advance.

I decompiled HttpClient and ConsoleClientImpl and this is what I found --- The following URL is what is constructed,
http://localhost:80/esb/j_security_check and these parameters are passed as POST - j_username=oc4jadmin&j_password=welcome1
    I tried
    http://localhost:80/esb/j_security_check?j_username=oc4jadmin&j_password=welcome1
    and got 404 error.
However, this exercise confirmed that hostname=localhost and port=80 is just fine.. the problem seems to lie somewhere else

I assume your are running on a Unix platform? If so, it looks like you don't

  • "Error while registering the Java 2 Runtime Environment registry keys"

"Error while registering the Java 2 Runtime Environment registry keys"
I am getting the above error when trying to install the 1.3 JRE (installed with the 1.3 plug in which I need). As part of my development I have been installing and uninstalling the JRE multiple times. Then, I got the above error when trying to install it, and now it appears to be installed but I cannot uninstall it. When I try to uninstall it, it just remains, and when I try to install it again I get the above error. I have tried cleaning up all javasoft registry entries, but it doesnt seem to have helped. Can anyone help me either completely uninstall the JRE so I can do a clean install or help me get rid of the error above when I install. Is there some registry entries I should be looking at? Anything else? this is quite urgent as I need to test my applet with the plugin installed and not installed - and I currently cant uninstall it. Any ideas?
    Thanks for your help
    Aaron

I am getting this same error message when trying to upgrade from 1.3.1_03 to 1.3.1_19.
I have multiple versions of jre's and jdks on my machine.
Anyone else seen this problem or know how to resolve it.

    Hi,
Issue gets resolved by  extracting manualy from JAVA_DVD_DIR/J2EE_OSINDEP/J2EEINSTALL.SAR to SAPINST install directory using SAPCAR. The path of this install directory is:/tmp/sapinst_instdir/NW04S/SYSTEM/ORA/CENTRAL/AS/install as:
    > pwd
    /tmp/sapinst_instdir/NW04S/SYSTEM/ORA/CENTRAL/AS/install
    > SAPCAR -xvf /SW/NW_2004s_SR1Java_based_SW_Comp/J2EE_OSINDEP/J2EE-INST/J2EEINSTALL.SAR
Once we have extracted the J2EEINSTALL.SAR relaunch SAPINST again and the installation continue.
    Regards
    Joy garg
Once you will have extracted the J2EEINSTALL.SAR please launch SAPINST again and the installation will continue.

  • Eclipse give following error :could not find Java 2 runtime environment

When I try to start eclipse it is giving me following error could not find Java 2 runtime environment. It was working fine untill I installed a new verson of eclipse although I am not whethar that is the source of problem.
When i give java -version command in command prompt it shows
    Registry key 'Software\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment\CurrentVersion'
has value '1.4', but '1.6' is required.
    Error: could not find java.dll
Error: could not find Java 2 Runtime Environment.
My java Home ,classpath , and path are all set as I say it was earliar woking fine.
    Please Help.

I know this is a relatively old post, but some people can stumble on this page when doing a search for this problem.
Anyway, I ran into this on my PC after I installed Sybase which had an older jre.
    Solution:
    1. Run regedit
    2. Look for Java Runtime Environment
You may have to do multiple searches. Eventually you'll find one with the version number.
    3. Modify the value and change it to the correct version number. (in your case, you would have changed it from 1.4 to 1.6).
This is much quicker than reinstalling Java every time installing something that uses an older version of Java hoses up the registry value.

Consider going to a Windows forum
(or better yet, to Microsoft's web site or to a local book store)
and learning about Vista's "User Account Control".
At least do a Google search on it.
