Error in importing Configuration objects of PI 7.0 to PI 7.1
Hi All,
My server is upgraded from PI 7.0 to PI 7.1.
I am getting Error while importing Configuration objects of PI 7.0 to PI 7.1 now.
Pls see the below error
Attempt to access the 1 requested objects on 1 failed. Detailed information: com.sap.aii.ib.core.roa.RoaObjectAccessException: Attempt to read object Adapter Metadata Mail | http://sap.com/xi/XI/System, type AdapterMetaData from application REPOSITORY on system REPOSITORY failed. Object does not exist. Detailed informatio n: Software component version with key ID: b38bcd00e47111d7afacde420a1145a5 not found
Pls suggest
Hi,
It seems that adapter metadata has not been loaded into integration repository and because of that when you are trying to import configuration objects in ID then you are getting the error.
The SAP adapter metadata objects are located under the namespace http://sap.com/xi/XI/System of software component SAP BASIS.
What you can do is, if you have installation dvd's then you can copy from their or you can simply [_DOWNLOAD_|https://websmp205.sap-ag.de/~form/handler?_APP=00200682500000001943&_EVENT=SEARCH&HIDE=&SEARCH_SPAT=X&SEARCH_BPAT=X&SEARCH_CD=X&SEARCH_P=X&SEARCH_PV=X&SEARCH_C=X&SEARCH_CV=X&SEARCH_TA=&SEARCH_V=&HIDE_EXPERT_SEARCH=X&SEARCH_MAX_RESULT=20 ] from sap market place (refer this [thread|how to import Adapter metadata;) (you must have S-user id for this) and then after you need to do as mentioned below...
1. First unzip the file (if it is zipped) and then put it in the import directory: \usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\import\
2. Now login to IR and then from menu TOOLS ---> Import design objects and import it.
3. After that in ID, Environment ---> Clear SLD Data Cache
4. Now you can try to import configuration objects...

Error while importing Configuration Object
Hello guys,
I get this error while I try to import the Configuration Scenario objects from DEV to QAS.
Obligatory transport target for business system MDD_BS not found in System Landscape Directory
The particular scenario was done by creating a business service MDD_BS for the MDM in SLD. There is no QAS server for MDM and we are using the same MDM server for both DEV as well as QAS. I created two groups in SLD, Group one for Business systems pointing to DEV and Group two for Business systems pointing to QAS. In SLD, Group two, there is no matching Business system for MDD_BS in QAS.
I tried to edit Group two and add the same business system for QAS as well. But I am unable to do so.
How do I solve this error?
HarishTo solve this issue, You can create an MDM BS for QAS Transport Group (something like MDM_BS_QAS and setup this BS in the same way of your MDM_BS_DEV), and add it to trasport target tab for MDM_BS_DEV.
Use it only for "logical" purpose.
Business System is only a logical senders or receivers that exchange messages by using the Integration Server. -

Re-importing Configuration Objects
experts!
I have imported Configuration Objects from .tpz files in Integration Directory. Because of those objects where unable to activate, I did a reject change and all objects were gone. When I try re-import from the same .tpz file, it is not showing in the file list. The .tpz file is there in the import folder of directory.
Please help me to re-import objects from .tpz file.
thanks
nikhilHi,
Here we have to consider some points while Exporting & Importing the .tpz files.
1)Once you export that configuration objects, the tpz file will be created at Export DIR.
2)From there we have to copy that file into Import DIR.
3)Once You import the tpz file from Import DIR or faild to Import DIR means those files will be moved to Imported Files DIR.
4) Now if we are looking to import those again means , they will not be available to import in ID.
So we have to copy that file again from the Export DIR and Paste it inImport Folder

Regards,
SaranHi saran,
Check the source system connectivity of the Quality system. Also check whether you have transported the datasources related to those objects that you transported from DEV to QAS.
First you need to transport the Datasources created in R/3 and then replicate them in QAS/Prod and then transport the objects in BW from DEV to QAS/Prod.
Check all these things and if still the problem persists... Refer to the below threads which may help u...

Can anybody help me out on this.
Regards,
Sumit Singh ChadhaHi,
don't mentioning why are You importing SYSTEM objects, the error that You have, just looking the message, is due to an export done without the clause CONSISTENT=Y (so all relations parent/child preserved) having the replication (the table in error is one of the replication dictionary table) active (not quisced)
Repeat the export operation using CONSISTENT=Y an stop replication activity.
Hope this helps

Problem in Importing Configuration object
Dear All,
I am facing the problem while importing ID object.
Business system INTEGRATION_SERVER_XIP is not assigned to a business system group with the ID (XISystemGroup).
So , I just try to create a Group in Business System in SLD. But I could not find the option to create the System Gourp.
I could n't see <b> edit groups </b>
any clue..
Regards
DanabHi,
First, you have to start the SLD.
To create a group, proceed as follows:
> Business Systems
> Click on the drop-down next to Group and select Edit Groups
> Create a group for each environment (eg DEV, TST, PRD). Specify for each group which Integration Server is used.
To assign business systems to a group, proceed as follows:
> Business Systems (Group = all)
> Select your Business System
> Click on the Integration tab.
> Select the related Integration Server (which is associated with a group - see step 1)
To map your DEV Business Systems to TST Business Systems etc., proceed as follows:
> Business Systems
> Select the group of your choice
> Select your Business System
> Click on Transport
> Click on Add/Change Target
> Select the Target Group and System

I went to the Lock Overview from Administration, of both DEV and QAS and I don't see any objects locked under that particular user. Why do I get this error ?
I removed that particular CC from the Configuration Scenario and imported again. I still get the same error and this time, it pointed out to another CC in my Configuration Scenario.
RegardsThanks Shabarish,
It worked and thanks to everyone who helped me.
I went to the " Change List" tab in QAS, I got this error in QAS, and assigned all the open items in the above user id to my userid and opted Reject changes. Then I imported again and it worked.

Error while importing catalogue object
Hi ,
whenever i tried to import SQL script for creating schema object
import>>SapHANAStudio>>catalogue objects
i get the attached error
thanks
Regards,
SureshTo solve this issue, You can create an MDM BS for QAS Transport Group (something like MDM_BS_QAS and setup this BS in the same way of your MDM_BS_DEV), and add it to trasport target tab for MDM_BS_DEV.
Use it only for "logical" purpose.
Business System is only a logical senders or receivers that exchange messages by using the Integration Server. -
Error while importing configuration from NWDI into NWDS
Hi All,
I am working on customizing ESS applications. I am unable to import the configuration from NWDI to NWDS. When I select 'Remote' option and enter the user id and password for SLD, I get the following error:
<b><b>HTTP response "Unauthorized" from CMS server</b></b>
Any idea.
Thanks,
TomHI Tom,
Please check your username and password. It iseems it is incorrect.
Try o login with same id and password on
http://<server>:<port>/devinf
Here, try to login on each link. i.e.
CBS
CMS
SLD
and DTR.
It will ask for ID and password once again. Check whether it is working here.
There might be possibilities That you ID is locked.

Importing Configuration Objects into IB
Hello,
I exported Config objects from DEV and successfully imported into QA.I copied the 'tpz' file in production import directory. But it is not available for import in the 'import source' list. I have done this many times and never got this problem.
Any suggestion?
Cheers!
K.S. MuthuHi, Muthu.
How about checking your PRD system in SLD? Is your PRD system defined as Transport Targets of DEV?
And please refer to the following help.
