Error in JDBC

I have got error message by JVM as follow
Connection reset by peer: JVM_recv in socket input stream readThere are no recordsjava.sql.SQLException: Connection reset by peer: JVM_recv in socket input stream readProcess Exit...
any body can tell when this error occurs
Sandeep

As it says in the Exception, the connection to the database has been terminated on the Database side. This could happen if the database is facing problems or because of timeout issues.
As per the FAQ in the Oracle site, ( http://technet.oracle.com/tech/java/sqlj_jdbc/htdocs/jdbc_faq.htm#_60_ )you cannot do anything on the java code side. You could do an investigation on the Database side by looking at the logs etc.

    Hi,
I have an rpt file developed in crystal report 2008. it connects to SQL Server using ODBC(RDO) connection. I have a jsp file that needs to change the datasource to use JDBC (JNDI). The scriptlet for changing datasource is given below. I have my sqljdbc.jar in the web-inf\lib folder of my application as well as in \server\{server_name}\lib folder. when I try to run the jsp it gives me error as follows :

I am not sure why it is not able to get the Driver since the required jar is there in lib folder? Am I missing something ?

    Hi,
Make sure you have set the Classpath in CRConfig.xml for the jdbc jar.
Place the CrConfig.xml  in the classes directory of your application.
Please let me know the results.

  • Java.sql.SQLException: Error accessing jdbc driver

    Hi,
We are using WebLogic Server 7.0 as Application Server.
We now create a connection pool named regPool and
    a Tx datasource named regDS.
When we get the connection from the datasource, exception occurred.
java.sql.SQLException: Error accessing jdbc driver: driverURL =
    jdbc:weblogic:pool:regPool, props = {enableTwoPhaseCommit=false,
    jdbcTxDataSource=true, connectionPoolID=regPool}
    at

    at
    weblogic.jdbc.common.internal.RmiDataSource.getConnection(RmiDataSource.java
    :265)
So I guess that why we can't use CMP for finding data. Here is the error when we call the finder.
javax.ejb.FinderException: Exception in findAllEmr while preparing or
    executing statement: 'null'
java.sql.SQLException: Cannot obtain connection after 30 seconds. ,
    Exception = Access not allowed
java.sql.SQLException: Cannot obtain connection after 30 seconds. ,
    Exception = Access not allowed
    at
    weblogic.jdbc.jts.Connection.wrapAndThrowSQLException(Connection.java:694)
According to the exception message, it looks
like the connection fail between WLS and Oracle 9.2.
Here is a scenario I think you should need to know.
    I change the table-name in the weblogic-cmp-rdbms-jar.xml
to a name that doesn't exist in the database.
Then, re-package the EJB, copy it to server and restart the server.
A exception occurred that says the table doesn't exist.
So, in this case, it looks like the datasource works and
    connection is fine.
    Any recommendation will be appreciated.

  • New e-Sourcing 5.0 Install - Error checking JDBC Driver version

    Hi  All,
I am currently attempting to install an e-Sourcing 5.0 Patch Level E instance on a Windows system using Oracle 10.2.0.3 and WebLogic 8.1 SP4.  e-Sourcing's installation and configuration complete without issue.  The schema in the database is loaded with the e-Sourcing tables and data.
However, when attempting to deploy the ear file via WebLogic, I receive the following JDBC error:
Error checking JDBC Driver version. Detail: Error: found unsupported JDBC Driver name: Oracle JDBC driver version: 10.1.0.2.0.
The JDBC driver in use is from  my Oracle install ..\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\jdbc\lib\ojdbc14.jar
I've also tried classes12.jar for versions 9.2.0.8, 10.1.0.2, and 10.2.0.1 but always receive the same error (...driver version: 10.1.0.2.0...) message regardless of the version of driver I am using.

Given that the database is loaded with the tables and data I know my instance can connect to the DB.  Does anyone know why the deployment would complain that the JDBC driver is incorrect?  Is there a way to disable the check and complete the server startup?  Is there only a single specific driver that is acceptable for this e-Sourcing version?
    Thanks,
    Greg
Edited by: Greg Stewart on Oct 15, 2009 3:20 PM

    The issue is still occurring.
The Supported Platform documentation indicates that the Oracle JDBC thin driver 10.2.0.1.0 is the supported driver.  I have tried both the Classes12.jar and ojdbc14.jar for this version of driver.
What is odd about this error is that it always displays the same message and version #, no matter what version of driver I use.
"found unsupported JDBC Driver name: Oracle JDBC driver version: 10.1.0.2.0"  (I execute setup and configuration each time I use a different driver to ensure the ear file is updated)
I have also tried using a different Driver Class path.  The installation guides for 5.0 and 5.1 indicate Driver Class as oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver.  I have also tried oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver for a few of the versions with no success.  I still receive the same error at the same point.
If anyone has run into a similar situation any suggestions or tips to resolving the issue would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Greg

    hi ,

Also the database table is not getting updated with the entries.

    Hi,
Check your mapping if you have mapped a constant "INSERT" to target fiels "action" (attribute).
it seems from your error that attribute is not mapped. You can also refer to below mentioned blog to check if you have created the right/correct target structure.

    Hi,
I am creating JDBC mySQL Connection error.
    The eror messsage is
Incorrect name parameter jdbc:mysql://10.114.16.70:3306/kaushikb root, pass in naming operation.where root is the username and pass is the password and kaushikb is the database name.
I am entering the tablename as: emptable.

    Let me guess: you did
    getConnection("jdbc:mysql://10.114.16.70:3306/kaushikb root,pass");rather than
    getConnection("jdbc:mysql://10.114.16.70:3306/kaushikb", "root", "pass");

  • ERROR in JDBC adapter...

    HI
My call to a stored proc in SQLServer fails with SQL exception
Error processing request in sax parser: Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'EmployeeFetch': java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][SQLServer 2000 Driver for JDBC]Can't start a cloned connection while in manual transaction mode.
I understand this error is because call to DB uses SETAUTOCOMMIT false and SelectMethod=should be set to cursor..
But where do i set these methods' for my adapter..Is it in the connections string??
Would appreciate ur help in this..

  • Error in JDBC Adapter Configuration....

    Hi,
My scenario is like this FTP->XI->Oracle Database.
The problem is that the files are not getting posted to the database though it is running well.
In XI receiver comm channel in JDBC adapter, I have provided the Connection path as   jdbc:oracle:thin:@esealmw275.al.sw.ericsson.se:1521:S14. Whereas in channel monitoring it is taking jdbc:oracle:THIN:@esealmw275.al.sw.ericsson.se:1521:S14. Please note it is taking THIN as in caps.
Can anybody suggest me is this the proposed error for that, if it is so, then pls provide me the suitable solution for that.

  • Error in JDBC Adapter-"Error establishing socket"

    Hi,
I am getting an error in the seander JDBC adapter. PFB the error:
Error during database connection to the database URL 'jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://Server Name;DatabaseName=DB Name;SelectMethod=cursor' using the JDBC driver 'com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver': 'com.sap.aii.adapter.jdbc.sql.DriverManagerException: Cannot establish connection to URL 'jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://Server Name;DatabaseName=DB Name;SelectMethod=cursor': SQLException: [Microsoft][SQLServer 2000 Driver for JDBC]Error establishing socket.'
Can any one hlep me to resolve the error.
    Thanks,
    RK

    Hi,
Also check whether you have given database connection parameters in the following format:
    JDBC Driver:
    com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver
    Connection:   jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://<HOSTNAME>:1433;DatabaseName=<xxxx>;SelectMethod=cursor
I think the deployment is done, because you have not got "SAPClassNotFoundException" error.(If the deployment is not done, the driver file cant be located so this will be thrown...)
    Thanks & Regards,
    Senthil.

  • Error in JDBC receiver Communication Channel

    Hi,
I am facing a problem at receiver communication channel of JDBC adapter. I am gettting the error as,
"com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Channel has reached maximum concurrency(5,000 concurrent Messages) and no free resourse found within 5,000 milliseconds; Increase the maximum Concurrency Level."
I am having the configuration on 4 different nodes. but suddenly only 1 out of 4 is working fine but remaining 3 are throwing this exception. It says to increase Maximum Concurrency level but i want to send only one message through one channel.
Is there a way to rectify this error. I am in deep trouble.
can anyone help me out in solving this issue, Its very greatfull if you do the needy.
    Thanks,
    Soorya,

    Hello Aarthi,
I have gone through the link which you have provided for me in this regard. But i am not clear why those values,
    AFW.Call.maxConsumers 10
    AFW.Recv.maxConsumers 5
    AFW.Rqst.maxConsumers 10
    AFW.Send.maxConsumers 5
    JDBC_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System.Call.maxConsumers 20
    JDBC_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System.Recv.maxConsumers 10
    JDBC_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System.Rqst.maxConsumers 20
    JDBC_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System.Send.maxConsumers 10
These are concerned to  MS only but not at JDBC adpater.
We have to look at JDBC prospective but not at the MS prospective.
So can you please look into the issue as JDBC adapter perspective.
Its like this that, there are 5000 messages are waiting for the free resource with in the next 5secs and as it is reached maximum concurrency of 1.
    So my question here is,
Is there only one option to increase this value to 2 or more?
Or else do we have any other option to overcome this problem.
    Please reply to this ASAP.
    Thanks,
    Soorya.
