Error in JSP's for custom project created for SAP-SHRAPP crm/isa/web/b2b

Hi All,
we have NWDS 7.3, NWDI 7.3, JDK 1.6.
Imported the track, created a new custom b2b project. Added the corresponding dependencied on the project folders.
On build of the custom project, build was finished with some warnings. The depolyment was completed successfully.
We are able to open the XCM settings of the custom project. And even the application for the custom project is running fine, ordes are being saved, without any error.
However, when i open any JSP say order.jsp. It has some set of warnings and errors. The error description says ISACORE jar file is not accessible.
Kindly help, how to solve this issue?

Access restriction: The type OrderChangeUI is not accessible due to restriction on required library D:\NWDS
\eclipse\workspace.jdi\0\DCs\sap.com\crm\isa\isacore\_comp\gen\default\public\default\lib\java

when i go to this location the JAR file is available.

all the SC are of version 7.01

Viewing standard projects created by SAP on IDES server

Hello,
I am working on IDES server ECC 6.0. cProject suite 4.5. I am not able to see the sample projects created by SAP because of Authorization problem. Is there any way(Admin Role etc..) by which I will be able to see projects created by SAP?

Hi Milind,
Are you taking about R/3 or cProject projects?
If it is cProject, if projects are already created and not shown, the mentioned below are few solutions:
1) You nees have this role in portal-SAP_CPR_PROJECT_ADMINISTRATOR along with SAP_CPR_TEMPLATE_ADMINISTRATOR for template projects and also SAP_CPR_USER.
2) Incase the roles mentioned above are already maintained for the user, check the browser you are using, it it is firefox-it is not compatible, if you are using Windows Internet Explorer- may be a cache problem.
3) To resolve the cache problem, go to - SICF t-code--> execute the transaction, in the services field type cprojects and click on filter, system will show you the service, Right click on the service anc click on Test service, enter the login id and password and login to your system.
4) Next by maintaining that, open one more tab in the explorer and mention the URL and login to the portal.
5) Now you can see the projects already created in the dropdown.
Note: Make sure you are noting using the Firefox.

Error in the configuration for sap logon tickets

I use Tcode crmd_order_bp to see the BP cockpit and the error message displays as
<b>Error in the configuration for SAP logon tickets</b>
But if I click "Yes", system displays cockpit.
How can I avoid this error.

You will still need to configure SSO (either by logon ticket or username/password). The data source access is done using the username/password configured in the UM Config dialog box.
I can see where you're coming from with your thinking, however logon-ticket-based SSO is probably the best approach.

Error in delta load of 'Customer Group' from R/3 to CRM

Hi Experts,
I added new 'Customer Groups' in R/3. But this is not being updated in CRM. Do I have to trigger initial load again through R3AS or should I create new Customer Groups in CRM?
The BP delta load BDocs are stuck in SMW01 due to this change. Also, if I need to do the Initial load of Customer Group, which object do I need to do the load for? Is it dnl_cust_sales?
Please help as it is a Production issue.

Hi Pat,
Use object 'DNL_CUST_SALES' to download Customer Group from R/3 to CRM.
Use R3AS4 transaction to execute the same.

Error while 'Crystal Report for Sap Business One' addon started

Hi,
I have try to install Crystal Report for Sap Business One (Addon Versione number 2.0.0.7).
The installatione finish succesfully, but when I started the addOn i retrieve this errore message: External Connection to the dataBase failed. Sap Crystal Addon may not function properly. Please re-run the account setup with superuser login.
I'm logged in Sap with manager (super user), so maybe I have forgot some step in the installation?
I have see the Demo in the Channel Partner Portal, I have note that I have to isntall the CR_Runtime_12_0, but I don't find it, I don't know where I can download this file. I have just installed SapCrystalSetup.exe and registered the Addon like a normal Sap B1 addon.
Where is the error??

You must configure in each cliente Pc the connection with the DATABASE.
You must Know the Database Super User (In SQL Server usually sa, and its password, the standard form SAP Business One is SAPB1Admin)
In Administration > Crystal Reports Administration > Account Setup
The CR_Runtime_12_0 is only necesary to view reports, but isn't necesary to start de addon.

Install-error "BO Integration KIT -for SAP " STW00152

In that installation "BO Integration KIT - for SAP" in the phase "CMS-connecting to CMS" I get a errormessage
"Connect to CMS is not possible. STW00152"
(Befor them, I installed "BO Enterprise XI 3.1 SP3" successfully)
I check the central configuration manager and I see BOE120Tomcat and Server Intelligence Agent was in the status "uncompletedly" and WWW Publishing Service was in status "it is explained". I started boht but I got a errormessage "The system cannot find the path specified"
I open the qualities for the "Server Intelligence Agent" and klick OK - I got a errormessage "the startparameter can't opposed. Error 87. The parameter is incorrect"

Hi,
it looks like that even your BOE installation isnt working properly.
Try to reboot the Server and check if your BOE Server starts. After it starts successfull try to install the SAP ITK.
If it doesnt start, i would recommend you re- install BOE first.

Errors in JSP file for htmlb code - CE 7.1

I am getting errors for HTMLB code like:

Hi,
You need not add com.sap.portal.htmlb.jar and com.sapportals.htmlb.jar to /PORTAL-INF/lib as the classes will be available at runtime through com.sap.portal.htmlb SharingReference. So remove the htmlb jars from /PORTAL-INF/lib.
Correct the value of tagLib property to /SERVICE/com.sap.portal.htmlb/taglib/htmlb.tld
Deploy and check if this helps.
I see alot of unnecessary semicolons in your portalapp.xml, I think you just added them inorder to be able to post them here.

Error on role import for SAP integration with BO in CMC (3.1)

Hello,
We are trying to integrate existing BO environment in our company with existing BW installation.
BO Environment - 3.1
BW/ECC Environment - (BW - BI 7.0 SP20, ECC 6.0)
So got the pre-requisites completed and the transports imported into both BW and ECC environments. Upon these steps we went ahead and installed the integration kit for 3.1 system.
There were no error messages, after we completed the installation went into infoview and in the authentication drop down checked to see if I can get "SAP" in there....which it did. So, I am assuming there were no issues till this point which we might have missed out.
Upon this, when I went into SAP authentication in CMC and double clicked on SAP and in the next screen clicked on "NEW" and added in the application server, system number, id and password and updated it...this automatically updated the logical system.
But when I go into the role import, it gives me the following error message....

The only thing is we have not assigned the CRYSTAL_ENTITLEMENT role to it as we are at this point only trying to see if we can log into webi...
So, is it required to assign this role to an existing user id role in order for me to import the roles into BO CMC screen in order to be assigned to a group.

Thanks a lot for looking into the question.
Yes, we are taking about the SAP Authentication part where I am trying to import roles in SAP into BO after I provide the login information in the Entitlement systems tab.
I confirmed that all parts of Java Connector configuration were taken care of as mentioned in the installation manual and from your blog.
The only piece left off is the CRYSTAL_ENTITLEMENT role assignment to the id which is used within the entitlement systems tab in CMC. I will get this configured and try it one more time.
Just to confirm,
1. The new user id to be created (should it be a RFC user or dialog user)
2. Is the only role to be assigned to the new user is CRYSTAL_ENTITLEMENT with the authorization mentioned in the installation manual
3. What are the roles to be imported into BO within CMC (are these the roles which we want for data access)
4. When a user tries to login with any other user id other than the one listed in Entitlement systems tab, does it use the roles assigned to that person in SAP to retrieve the data or would it be dependent on the roles imported into BO within CMC in earlier step.
Please let me know.

Error while scheduling report for SAP users

Hi All,
We have SAP authentication enabled in our BO environment. (BO XI 3.1 sp2 FP 2.6 on windows 2003 server).
There are some webi reports based on BW Bex queries that we are trying to run on behalf of certain SAP end users. This we are doing using "schedule for" option.
Now what is happening here is if the end user has logged in once in BO system ,it runs fine. But in case user has not logged in to BO (using infoview etc.) ,it throws error saying "incomplete logon data" . Also if user changes or reset his password in BW and if he doesn't login to infoview after that ,system throws another error "Name or password incorrect (repeat logon)".
Based on these observation, we are suspecting if BO system uses stored SAP users credentials while scheduling report for them based on their last login.
Would like to mention here that we have checked option "automatically import users".
Please advice if this behavior is normal or we are missing some setting.

B2C: Custom Project

My client already created the custom DC like b2c_abc under CUSTCRMPRJ_1 in NWDI.

Please see my response.
For your customization you have to create other project from SC sap.com_SHRWEB.
1. Expand sap.com_SHRWEB SC you will see crm/isa/web/b2b, crm/isa/web/b2c etc.... Right click on it and select Create Project. It will create Project under Java Perspective
You have to create all required project for your customization from sap.com_SHRWEB SC if you do not create then you can't customize your application because all JSP files and all properties files are here.
Suppose you want to customize header.jsp then you have to create project crm/isa/web/b2b then go to Java Perspective and her you can find header.jsp file and you can do your customization.
Go to Development Configuration Perspective click on Inactive DCs expand your Development Config.
You should see below SC.
1. sap.com_CUSTCRMPRJ
2. sap.com_SAP-CRMDIC
3. sap.com_SAP-SHRAPP
4. sap.com_SAP-SHRWEB
Expand sap.com_SAP-SHRWEB SC.
i) projects shr~ext for all custom Java developments
Right click on crm/home/shr/ext and click on Create Project
ii) project web~b2c - if you have to modify any standard JSP files or create any new
Right click on crm/isa/web/b2c and click on Create Project
iii) project web~appbase - if any change in layout-config
Right click on crm/tc/web/appbaset and click on Create Project
iv) project web~core - if any new backend object to be registered, any custom BOM to be registered.
Right click on crm/tc/web/core and click on Create Project
Once you create all above project go to Java Perspective in NWDS and expand related project you will find related files.
For your custom Java class use shr~ext project and use src folder to create your custom package and class.
For b2c JSP file open b2c project and go to Web content folder.
I hope this will help you to create project.
If you are not able to find mentioned DC under sap.com_SAP-SHRWEB then there is something wrong in your Track.

How to create ECO 5.0 CRM project in NWDS?

hi,
I created a development track in NWDI and next I want to create a project in NWDS.
So I switched to the inactive DCs view in NWDS and I choosed the SAP_SHRWEB_1 DC and selected the entry crm/isa/web/b2b and created a project. But I cant find the project in the NWDS workspace.
I dont know whats going wrong because I already went this way for ECO for R/3 several times.

U can use open source programs available in net like Mass Download, ZAPLINK, SAPLINK.
Mass Download --> Download the objects
SAPLINK, ZAPLINK --> Used for downloading and also for importing the downloaded objects to other system.

How to Create Track in NWDI for CRM ISA 5.0

can anyone please suggest me how to create track in NWDI for CRM ISA 5.0 for different archive files which consists of source files like(ex: SAP-SHRAPP.SCA,SAP-SHRWEB.SCA, e.t.c.) and as well as empty source files like(ex: SAP-SHRAPP.SCA,SAP-SHRWEB.SCA, e.t.c.).
As far as i know SAP does not deliver sources for SCs SAP-JEE,SAP_BUILDT and SAP_JTECHS so we cant have them as "Developed Software Components" when we eg:want to modify the SCs SAP-SHRAPP.SCA or CUSTCRMPRJ.SCA.
here what i want to know is depending on which SCs we actually want to modify, based on that our track want to be Configured differently.
My question is how to configure the Track in NWDI for this kind of scenario.
If the source is not given and only required software components are given then how to create track in NWDI. for example in CRM ISA 5.0

Real PHP project with PHP + SAP

i'm working for a german company "http://www.uniorg.de" and we have implemented some real live projects with SAP R3 and PHP. Some of them handle a large amount of data for international companies.
A lot of this projects are in the scope of webshops. A subset of data is imported into mysql and the web presentation layer is done with php. The realisation of the interface layer depends on the SAP System. Actually, we use SOAP Services for R4.7 Systems, but we also have an own product called "ETS Server" to use web technics like XML under SAP R2.x. We also have a PHP portal framework solution to do similar things like Enterprise Portals, but with Open Source Software.
Sure, the same problems could be done with java (we are also experienced in java development, cause we developed one of the leading CMS Systems for IBM Lotus Domino and also special BSPs/iViews for SAP EP Domino Integration), but there are other reasons beside knowledge.
PHP is fast and efficient cause it is compiled for every supported plattform. Java is working in a sandbox (own memory management) and this make things slow/expensive. For the same functionality you will need more server ressources or a bigger hardware. So comparing memory intensive things PHP is normally 10 times faster than java. Using XML Parsing/Processing boosts the usage of php cause java also implements the parser in java (PHP uses native parsers in C/C++).
Beside this, you need less time to develop php programs cause you don't have to wait for the compiler and don't need a deployment everytime. Since PHP5 you also develop in an java objectoriented approach.
If a have to make an offering for a customer, a php solution will be cheaper than the same solution in java, but there are also reasons not to use PHP:
- You shouldn't use PHP, if you need a server plattform that is not supported by PHP (Zend).
- Scalability for high traffic applications must be done by yourself (so do you have the needed knowhow?). Or you have to buy commercial php bundles.
- You need a highly integrated development environment like Netweaver Developer Studio for developing WebServices.
- You need Enterprise Services (like EJBs)
- Money is no reason and you are a consultant
At the moment, we mainly use php for the browser based presentation layer of web applications (especially high traffic sites). There is also no real B2C support by SAP Widgets like BSPs or WebDynpro, cause you can not force the customer to have special web clients (supported by SAP).
If PHP will be native integrated inside the WAS, it will be interesting to do more performance critical tasks with PHP.
