Error in Migrating Weblogic 8.2 to Weblogic 9.2
Hi,
We are trying to upgrade to Weblogic 9.2 from Weblogic 8.2.
We are using Queues in our application and we are using default host and port in our application for connecting that
t3://localhost/
But when we tried to migrate the application, Weblogic 9.2 expects the port to be supplied as part of Connection URL instead of taking the default port
java.rmi.ConnectException: No known valid port for: 'Default[t3]:t3(t3):null:7001:10.45.4.131:-1'; No available router to destination

Please help me how to connect to JMS without specifying the default port in the connection string.

According to this: http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs92/javadocs/weblogic/jndi/WLInitialContextFactory.html
You can skip the url completely, if you are using the default hostname/port:
Hashtable env = new Hashtable(5);
env.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY,
"weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory");
Context ctx = new InitialContext(env);
If your component looking up jms is in a servlet, ejb, etc. use the default InitialContext() constructor and skip all this stuff!
Context ctx = new InitialContext();

Looks like the migration tool ran into problems parsing some of the WLQL in your application. Its difficult to say what exactly might have gone wrong without more information.

Configuration Frozen Error after migrating to Weblogic 11g console extensio
We are using the console extension property of weblogic.
The jar used to deploy the same works fine with weblogic9 but gives the below error after migrating to Weblogic 10.3
The project also uses struts-Tiles configuartion. Is there any specific configuration to do after migration with respect to console extension?????

1. the error does not occur if the base table does not have rowSelection=”single”
2. the error does not occur if the base table has rowSelection=”single” but the popup is raised with showPopupBehavior
3. the error only occurs when the base table has rowSelection=”single” and we call the popup as inline popup (taskFlow with jsf page)
I could not reproduce the error on a newly created application in Jdevelope 11.1.2.1, it only happens to migrated applications.
We can not give up to rowSelection=”single” because of master-detail structures.
Thank you,

How to configure a error queue for weblogic jms topic
Hi guys.
I want to configure a error queue for weblogic jms topic. Wanted: The message goes to error destination when messages have expired or reached their redelivery limit.
1. using jms transport configure proxy service:
Retry Count :3
Retry Interval:10
Error Destination: ErrorTopic
Expiration Policy: Redirect
I tried use the proxy service to consume message from the jms topic . and generation an error in the proxy message flow. But the message didn't goes into the error topic.
Any suggestions for this topic? Can anyone provide some helps or any useful links.
Thanks in advance.

I want to configure a error queue for weblogic jms topic. Wanted: The message goes to error destination when messages have expired or reached their redelivery limit.
1. using jms transport configure proxy service:
Retry Count :3
Retry Interval:10
Error Destination: ErrorTopic
Expiration olicy: RedirectUnlike File/SFTP, JMS proxy service definition does not have the concept of Error Destination. To accomplish similar functionality go to JMSQ on (for which proxy is configured) server console (http://localhost:7001/console) and configure the Error Destination. Following URL will help in how to configure JMS Q.
http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs103/ConsoleHelp/taskhelp/jms_modules/queues/ConfigureQueues.html
http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs103/ConsoleHelp/taskhelp/jms_modules/queues/ConfigureQueueDeliveryFailure.html
I tried use the proxy service to consume message from the jms topic . and generation an error in the proxy message flow. But the message didn't goes into the error topic.If every thing is configured as per above step, then the after retries, the weblogic server will put the message into JMS topic configured. Your proxy will receive from this topic.
Let me know if we are not on same page.
Cheers

Might be a configuration error. Could you tell me which version, including
service-pack level, of WLCS/WLPS and WLS that you are running? sp2 for WLCS
3.5 removes console.war from your WLCS installation. That is because WLCS 3.5
sp2 is the port from WLS 6.0 to WLS 6.1. In WLS 6.1, there is no console
application because it became internal.

PLs help meUser, please tell us your jdev version!
Somehow your credentials are corrupted. Two possible solution:
1) open your system11.1.1.xxxx folder open the DefaultDomain\servers\DefaultServer\security folder and edit the boot.properties file. Remove the '(AES)...' part after username and password and write the new ones e.g. username=weblogic', password='Welcome1'. Save the file and try to start the integrated server again. Once the server starts the entries are encoded again.
2) if 1) does not work, remove the whole DefaultDomain folder and create a new WLS instance inside jdev.

Deployment Manager Error with Oracle Weblogic Server 10.3.1
I have installed Identity Manager 9.1.0.2 (patch upgraded from 9.1.0.1) on OEL 5.3 64bit and Weblogic 10.3.1
Database:Oracle 11gR2 (remote machine).
**I am aware that IM 9.1.0.2 is not certified on Weblogic 10.3.1 (it is only certified on 10.3),
The installation was successful and OIManager is up and running. Able to create Users, Resources etc. as well.
As part of configuring OIM Connectors tried to Import .xml file using Import option from Deployment Management section as below and the following error was displayed.
"Either your session timed out or you are trying to access a page without logging in".
Did all workarounds like enabling java, changing browsers, restarting machine etc as per the below discussion but in vain.
Deployment Manager Error with Oracle Weblogic Server
Can any one suggest any workaround or solution for this problem.
Or atleast can any one confirm there is no Identity manager available on this date which is compatible with 10.3.1? and cannot be continued further.
Thanks in Advance
Sudheer
Edited by: SudheerPrabhala on Oct 20, 2009 1:26 AMYou are facing this issue because you're using a non certified combination.
Other folks who tried to use OIM in 10.3.1 ended up in the same problem you're facing. -

What am I missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm using Ant 1.6.5 and Weblogic 10.0 on Windows XP, if that makes a difference.

Edited by jakerobb at 07/12/2007 1:52 PMHi,
I too have this problem. I am trying to use my own ant installation. The docs say that we can do that. However, if i try to set the domain env then the ant command will point to bea's ant. Anyway I have defined the task using a taskdef as follows
<path id="wl_classpath">
<pathelement location="${BEA_HOME}/patch_weblogic922/profiles/default/sys_manifest_classpath/weblogic_patch.jar" />
<pathelement location="${env.JAVA_HOME}/lib/tools.jar" />
<pathelement location="${WL_HOME}/server/lib/weblogic_sp.jar" />
<pathelement location="${WL_HOME}/server/lib/weblogic.jar" />
<pathelement location="${WL_HOME}/server/lib/webservices.jar" />
</path>
<taskdef name="wlst" classname="weblogic.ant.taskdefs.management.WLSTTask">
<classpath refid="wl_classpath" />
</taskdef>
<target name="start_appinstance" description="--> Starts the Appinstance"
<wlst debug="true">
<script>
connect('weblogic','weblogic','t3://localhost:7001')
</script>
</wlst>
</target>there is no weblogichome or beahome attribute for this task.
My objective is to control a server using the node manager. I believe the only way to do this is to use wlst and not wlserver.
Thanks
Shaival
PS: i am using version 9.2MP2 for weblogic and ant 1.7 -
