ERROR IN PERIOD BILLING

CAN ANYBODY REPLY TO THIS QUESTION :
Mike Keller did a period billing for WBS 2008044-MO & 2008052-MO Jan 2 through Feb 29.
The Invoices had to be cancelled because of the wrong Tax Code. Mike cannot perform another DP91 for the same period.
How does he create another invoice for the same Time Frame Jan 2 - Feb 29???
PLEASE RESPOND AS THIS IS URGENT.

Have you tried cancelling the invoice through VF11 and recreating it......
If so... I dont think we can create for that specific time frame.......

    Is this the incomplete log you are getting?
    Normaly system should never ask for the GL account while creating a contract......
    Anyways system is trying to create a billing doc in the background, try to create block the billing (you have the option available in billing plan) and save the transaction.
    I think in the configuration you have the option where, when ever you create a billing plan the system should block the plan untill release it manualy or by milestone........

  • Periodic Billing plan -Contracts

    Hi mates
    I am just creating Quantity contract and trying to activate periodic billing plan.When i select the line item and click the billing plan tab
    iam getting following error
    "ITEM 000010 CANNOT BE INVOICED ACCORDING TO THE BILLING PLAN"
    Can anybody explain me in detail the configuration involved in this so that periodic billing plan works

    Dear Karthik,
    For the Item Category TAO as per standard the item category group is 0005 which is for partial billing. So whenever you are doing the partial billing by using billing plans the item category group should be 0005 and item category TAO fir milestone and WYN for periodic.
    KMN is for quanity contract item category..... also check the setting of billing relevance in VOV7.

  • Periodic Billing within SD using recurring charges

    HI,
    I work for a local authority that has lease agreements and service charges for properties in the area.  At the moment these charges are not on SAP.
    Is there any way that you can use recurring charges in the SD module to create these accounts?  I think the issue would be the calculation of any adjustments should the lease cease or amended.
    Can you calculate the adjutments manually and still use recurring charges or is the Real estate module a better fit for this?
    Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated,

    SAP- Real Estate would definitely be a better bet because it is a specialist module. But I have no idea of its functionality benefits vis a vis standard solution.
    That said, you can meet  the requirement with rental (MV) or service contract (WV) with Periodic billing plan. You can charge the monthly rental in advance or after the month is over using date rules and other billing plan features, Since a lease is essentially a contract with start date- End date, these contracts work well, you can also bill for partial months at the beginning or end and incorporate penalties  for lease break etc with a  Contract cancellation procedures or manually with Debit notes. Build a prototype keeping in  mind Billing plans take some trial and error to arrive at the final solution.

  • How Interim Meter Reading before Device Replacement is adjusted in Periodic Billing after Replacement without sending Interim Bill Doc. to Customer

    Dear All,
    At my Project Consumption is calculated as per Status and Notes Taken,i,e if it is "OK" reading MR is taken Directly for Consumption Periodically and Billed, but according to Logic if Customer MR Status and Notes is DL and AB(Door Lock and Abnormal) we Estimate Consumption according to logic written.
    Now i have a problem when ever OK Reading Billing is done before Replacement - consumption of Replacement (Consumption given when Old Device billing related removal) with OK Notes is getting adjusted after replacement, but when estimation billing by DL or AB or Disconnected status Consumption been billed before replacement and after this device is been replaced is not able to adjust Replacement "OK" Reading (Consumption given when Old Device billing related removal) in Next Periodic Billings. So what i found is adjustment is not happening because of Absence of "OK"  MR Billing before Replacement and i asked them to make and Interim Billing so that the consumption should be adjusted before replacement and after replacement there should not be any issue. Now my User is ok with the above idea, but he want Interim Bill Consumption should not be sent to Customer and Interim Bill Consumption should be included in Periodic Billing and Invoice after Replacement is sent to Customer.
    Please can any one give me some idea on above scenario.

  • ASKBN error: Posting period Jan is not open

    Hi,
    We are getting the following error : Posting period Jan 2009 is not open when we do ASKBN.
    Can it be resolved without opening period Jan 2009? if we dont resolve it we cannot do AJAB.
    But if we open Jan and do ASKBN what could be the financial impact?
    Please advise.

    I think you have to open the period to post ASKB (or ASKBN)
    The financial impact is that it will post from the cost depreciation areas to the general ledger, depending on how the account determination is configured in your system.

    I got error  "posting period is not defined for fiscal year variant" when I execute t code FBICS3.
    I checked in OB29 &  t code FBIC010 & noted that the fiscal year variant had ben maintained.
    Please advice.

    Posting period  is not defined for fiscal year variant
    Message no. GU506
    Diagnosis
    You have tried to determine a posting date in fiscal year variant for period , fiscal year , but this period is not defined for the variant.
    Procedure
    You maintain fiscal year variants in table T009.
    It was referring to t code OB29. I have checked the detail, in OB29 also details maintain.
    Please advice why the error still prompt.

  • Error while doing billing

    Hi every one'
    i got an error while doing billing
    Error :sub transactions in schema Z step 0001 inconsistent,
    this error is comming while using transaction eamabi,
    the schema is worked properly since i updated a line item for additional TAX,
    and we created new sub transactins for additional vat,AND for the sub transactions i have added a new GL account,
    and i have added those Sub transactions in the respective field of the rate,
    I have maintained properly all the fica setting for the sub trasactions...like ek01 and ek02 and table te305 & tfktvo as well. Dont understand where the setting have been missed..Please let me kow if you come acrosee this kind of situation.
    later i have deleted all the line items in tha same schema,and i have given only quanti01  variant
    and does not have any vat related line item maintained at schema even though the same error proposed.

    I think you need to ask FICA person to fix the subs, This is not billing or rate error. There must be some config missing in sub's and main. If you give another try with any other subs it should work. This will help you to double check too.

    Go to VF02, input the billing document and execute.  Now from the top menubar, click on Goto <> Header <> Header.   There check what pricing procedure is flowing.
    Now go to V/08, select that pricing procedure and check whether you have maintained the condition type for VAT.  I believe you have not maintained and hence, the error. Include the VAT condition type and create a fresh sale order.
    Meanwhile, you have to reverse the billing document via VF11, reverse PGI via VL09 and delete the delivery document.

  • Error while posting billing documents

    I am trying to post billing documents for accounting , but I am getting some error related to number range.
    I have checked number range assignments, where else I can check to find out error.

    If you are getting error while creating billing document -
    Check your number range status assignment in T-Code - VN01
    If any userexit is used then check in Userexit MV60AFZZ. There could be a Z-table where the number range may not be properly defined for the Billing Type/ plsnt/etc. as per the settings.
    If Billing document is created and you get this error while posting-
    Then it would be error with the number range for Accounting Document. Pls. ask the FI person to fix this.
    If the above does not solve - pls. mention the exact error with error code.

    check the fiscal year variant assigned to comapny code and change the periods corresponding to account type blank, S, K to current financial year periods
    spro...img...financial accounting...global settings...document...line item...fiscal year variant...define fiscal year variant
    Also <b>MMPV</b>, Give the current date, company code and Run the transaction code and then try posting the document.

    I am getting the below error while releasing billing document.
    Assign condition HD00 type in COPA
    HD00 condition type is frieght condition type
    Is it good thing if we assign this condition type to COPA value field in KE4I? or we should not assign Frieght condition to COPA?

    HI Kishore,
    To which GL account are you posting this freight condition value? Is that GL created as a revenue element (of category '11'/'12')?
    If yes (has to be 'yes', since you are getting the error message), then you don't have a choice but assigning a CO-PA value field in KE4I. The idea here is, if you have created the GL as revenue element, then you intend to take it to Controlling module for further analysis. Thus, making your FI/CO reconciliation easy.
    If you do want to carry this value to CO-PA for analytical reporting then don't create that particular GL (assuming you are posting freight to a separate GL) as a revenue element. That said, it does make sense to carry this value to CO-PA and in your present case, you don't have a choice as the message which you got is an error message, which you can't circumvent.

    when user enter billing doc no in vf03, user will click 'issue output type' and select their output type to be printed out.
    if there's an error in the print program, it should promt out an error message and do not allowed user to print preview and print the form out.
    what i had did previously, i prompt the error message and disable the print preview button. i think its not a good solution and i am not sure how to stop the form from not printing it out.
    i was wondering is there any user exit of the output type, vofm (which i had this solutions from my previous question, but unsure how to use it) or any other solutions.
    please help.

    Workflow is the best approach for any issue related to business objects.
    Since you want call FM BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE, it will change SO. It means everytime any SO is changed there will an event being triggered.
    object type: BUS2032
    event: Changed
    simple solution:
    1. Please create object type (SWO1) and its super type should be BUS2032.
    2. Add your own method and attach your custom FM which actually updates the qty & PR)
    3. Create Task (PFTC_INS)
    in basic data:
    - provide object type which you have created
    - provide method which you have added
    goto triggering events tab
    - Choose Object Category as BOR object type
    - provide object type (better give BUS2032)
    - provide event as CHANGED
