Error in Print Preview smartforms

Hi All,
I have done a program for PO Print.(smartforms)
I am getting an error while printpreview stating that
"Table row is larger than 176 cm"
This error is only coming for some selected PO's
Please help .

U can try and use smartform_trace transaction to trace ur smartform alos to search for particular code use like this->
Goto-> environment-> see fm name
suppose it is like
/1BCDWB/SF00000036
Now
edit like this
/1BCDWB/LSF00000036F01
open this in se38
now search with ur line item node name.
also put a break point here ans when it stops for debugging set a watch point to stop at particular line item which u want out of 50 item u have.

Error in print preview or printing

Hi Experts,
Have anyone of you experts encountered the error below:
Graphic cannot be displayed.
Message no. SSFCOMPOSER159
Diagnosis
The graphic with the key (name = , object = GRAPHICS, ID = BMAP, type = BCOL) could not be found.
System Response
The system issues an error message.
Procedure
Check whether the key is specified correctly.
This error was encountered when I am trying to have a print preview of form Order Acknowledgement based from the message I created in language 'NL' - Dutch, however I did not encounter this error when I print preview the form based from the message i created in EN - English.
Can you please help me find the reason or resolution to this problem. Thanks!

Your smartform is calling a logo doesn't exist.
Try to check the node GRAPHIC probably here the name of the logo is transfered by a variable and the variable is initial:
The graphic with the key (name = , object = GRAPHICS, ID = BMAP, type = BCOL)
As you can see it in the error message there's any value for the NAME: how are you indicating the name of the logo?

Error in Print Preview - Billing ( Not able to get print preview)

Dear All,
I am facing problem in print preview. I create new billing type and assign default output type and output determination procedure. I also assign output type in procedure. Also maintain condition record for the same. In billing document GO TO - Header-output...my default output type was there. Now i am facing problem in print preview. When i try to get it there is no error msg. but system is not showing any print preview.
Please help me in the same.

Please check if all the necessary configuration are completed for your Output determination, also check if the driver programs/smartforms are ssigned to your output type.
If everything is fine check out teh processing log Header --> output

Crystal report runtime error on print preview

Hi everybody
I've built a CR report based on a 'SAP B1' connection type
I pick my tables from the DBO menu and not from the B1 tables menu (not the one which is organized like the SAP main menu)
I open CR application and the report
I click on the print preview button
I enter the parameter
I enter the Company user password in the "Enter connection details below' window
After this step, I've often have a C++ runtime error

this erreor does not appear every time
I do not understand what makes tihs error to appear or not.
The only solution I've found so far :
Re open the report
Go to DATABASE Manue / Set Datasource location
I change the location of all the table to a new connection source.
environnement : win XP SP3 and CR 12.2.0.290 or Win 2008 serv and CR 12.2.0.290
Have you met the same problem in your editions ? Have you found any solutions ?

Runtime error in print preview of Purchase Order

Hi,
I am facing a problem regarding the Print Preview of Purchase Order. This is happening after applying the patch no SAP_APPL Level 15.
The error is "Z_ME_PO_FOR_PRINTING IS NOT FOUND IN THE FUNCTION GROUP ZMEDRUCK" which is the copy of MEDRUCK.
How to solve the problem please guide.

You have customized your layout and print programs.
Suggest you to sit with your ABAP programmer and they are the best ones to go through this problem.
Your print program is looking for a function module which is missing

An Error while print preview (PLD) in all Data base

After creation of UDF, i have assigned a database table for the same in PLD but i was not getting Print preview.Now i hav removed the UDF and im trying to open a printpreview but still im getting the error like
"Internal error(-101)occured(message 131-103)"
Can any one help me....please.In all database im receiving same error.

Could you please check whether the printer is installed on your machine or not. As this error message
usually comes due to non installation of printer. In case this does not help, could you please tell whether this happens only with customised template or system template also.

Crystal Report print layout error during print preview

Hi Everyone,
When I try print preview a marketing document, it will work the first time, and then when I try to print preview again it brings up a window asking me to login into the database with the sa username and password.
When putting in the correct password, the login fails.
When I click cancel, SAP hangs up and requires a restart.
All print layouts were done in Crystal Reports, and imported via the report layout manager.
This occurs on all marketing documents where there is a crystal print layout.
Anyone will be able to help me with this?

Your solution worked. Thank you very much.
I also did not include a stored procedure into the connection that was needed in the layout.
This could have also added to the problem (for future reference).

Error in print preview in ALV report

Hi....All,
Good Day.
I have developed a ALV report. It is displaying all data properly. The problem is...
When I am pressing the print preview button... it is getting dump.
The dump short message is....... "Field symbol has not yet been assigned".
Hope that I will get a solution from you as previous.

Error during Print preview

Hello everyone,
I get this error "Database disconnected, Choose the 'ok' button to exit the database" on several workstations. This does not happen on the server at all. It happens when we are trying to preview a sales order, purchase order or a production order. This system shows this message and shuts down. this also happens when I click on the print layout manager. I have reinstalled SAP several times but the issues still continues to show up. This happens on SAP 8.82 patch level 14.
I would really appreciate if any one has a solution to this problem.

The error message SSFCOMPOSER002 indicates 'No runtime object exists for form '. I just want to confirm the below point:
In Quality,
could you please go to the transaction code - 'SMARTFORMS' and give the smartform name ?
Then, execute the form directly and check whether you are getting the interface program name.
If any issues is there, then re-transport the smartform once again (please do not forget to activate the smartform once again before assigning to the new TR) to the quality.
Kindly tell me if the issue is some other.

Tax is not coming in print preview (smartform output) of PO

Hello Experts,
I am faicng problem that Tax amount is coming in print preveiw only when i click on Taxes button in invoice tab.
If i dont click on Taxes button it is not coming even though it is present in the PO.
Please help me out in this issue.
I have debugged the code. Tax values are coming from std program SAPLMEPO.But i am not able to find the include in that program which is fetching this value( Values of KOMV structure).
Does anyone have idea which include is working behind this?

This might be because of the CODE ISSUE either in the PROGRAM OR SMARTFORM .
Please cehck the code , if you dont have access check with the ABAPer to debgg and identify the issue.

It seems i'm too getting the same issue, when i'm trying to open a HFM report in workspace the report prompts to select a member but when i'm clicking the prompt button then it is throwing the error.Error is as below

Error while displaying print preview of smartform in VL03n

Hi all,
i created one smartform & print program . i assigned this in NACE tcode for ZD05 output type.
Then i am trying to see the print preview in VL03n while doing issue delivery output.
But i am getting error like ' Output could not be issued'. Please suggest where i am doing mistake. Thanks.

Hi,
Follow below Steps:
1) Double Check your program and smartform names where you are attached in nace transaction.
2)check your templates and tables having formatting issues.
3)Finally create dummy of your smartform. then delete one by one window in smartform check it and trace out in which window error is existing.
even i faced same problem.
in my case i gave wrong line and column numbers under the template node texts. it won't show the error in smart form but while executing transaction out put could not issued.

In th PO smartform iam trying to display the service PO. the data is coming in runtime but it is not displaying the print preview only for the service POs the error iam getting is "system message 042 from work area SSFCOMPOSER does not exict". other POs are displaying correctly. pl. help me inthis its urgent .. rewards for every correct guidence

pls check if you are using any checks or conditions under which a node gets executed only for service PO's. problem may be like some colums or rows may be missing in the table node etc.

Updation of table after Print and Print-Preview in smartform

Hi,
I am having a requirement where i need to print multiple deliveries with the sales order data each delivery on a new page using smartform.
Now , i am using SSF_OPEN, SSF_CLOSE Fm's for the same. I need to update a Z table after the user clicks on PRINT from the pop-up or print from the print preview screen.
I tried using the output_info parameter in the smartform where i read from a post that the OUTPUTDONE parameter becomes "X" in the job_output_info when the user clicks print wither in the two ways said before.
This does not work out in case if the FM'S SSF_OPEN and SSF_CLOSE are used.
Kindly help me on the same.

yes i tried that..using the AT new event for a Delivery and then a command to go to the NEW PAGE, but somehow when i execuet the form, i could not see the layout..so in the debug i saw the subrc after the FM is run..it says SUBRC = 2 i.e. internal error. I am not able to figure that out.
So i had to use these open and close, nowi just want to update a z table if the user clicks on the print button (print preview screen) after using the print preview .
Kindly suggest.
