Error is like
Delivering the message to the application using connection SOAP_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/PARSING/ADAPTER.SOAP_EXCEPTION - soap fault: Server was unable to read request. ---> There is an error in XML document (1, 389). ---> The string '' is not a valid AllXsd value..
There is no error such in my payload.

Hi All,
Thanks for your quick reply.
yes there is a blank data.. I map that with "map with default". and that is sending blank.
Also tested in SOAP UI the same payload.Error like below.. l
Like BAD request ..
But when I fill all the mandetory filled the error like below comes
Server was unable to process request. ---> Unable to write exception error to log: Access to the path 'c:\dn_log_cispro#11-03-2010-05-45-16.txt' is denied.
Please help. how to avoid it.

    Hi,
Normally, the Web service should provide a fault message back to XI and the RFC should also have an exception defined that will trigger a fault message mapping and that way the application error is sent back to R3.
But if the web service does not provide u with a fault message then XI will trigger the System Error back to R3.
The functionality of checking the DB status and propagating meaningful errors to XI as fault messages should lie with the web service.
    Thanks

  • Error after import external webservice(RFC) wsdl url to Process Composer

    Hi all,
I try to use RFC webservice in my BPM as below:
    1. Expose RFC as webservice using CAF (import external service RFC and then create application service use this external service)
    2. Define Destination in NWA.
    3. Create a Process Composer project, and import the external webservice(RFC) wsdl file as service interface in the project.
After importing, i get error : the port type specified for the ...binding is undefined. Check port type name and ensure it is defined.
If i import another external service, not RFC (such as business object), there is no error.
    My system is NWCE 7.11
    Thanks in advance,

  • R3 (RFC Asynch) -- XI --- SOAP (webservice Synch)

    Hi Experts,
My scenario is :R3 (RFC Asynch) > XI <-> SOAP(webservice is synch)
Step1:-   R3 sends the data webservie(SOAP) via XI.
Step2:-   Webservice returns the response to XI, But R3(RFC) does not need the resoponse.
how to handle the webservice response in XI.
do i need to use BPM as this scenario is R3(RFC synch) > XI <--> Webservice(soap, synch). Can anybody help me out how to design this scenario.
    Thanks,
    Siva

So then all u need is to create a async inbound MI. Also the WS should be configured in a way that it sends a HTTP 200 with a SOAP envelope with an empty content for successful delivery.
    Refer the below from the SOAP adapter FAQ;
    Receiver Asynchronous Calls
Q: What are the correct receiver options for asynchronous calls?
A: The processing mode of the receiver is determined by the message that reaches the receiver. If you are sending a message with some quality of service, to provide this service of quality to the server, your must make sure two things. First, your receiver channel must be configured to pass the XI message ID to the server. Second, your web service must check duplicates using this message ID.
Q: What should my web service return to the adapter for asynchronous calls?
A: Currently, the receiver adapter expects an HTTP 200 with a SOAP envelope with an empty content for successful delivery. Any other response will result in a XI system error and triggers retries of the message. When you want to check duplicates, you should configure your receiver channel to pass the XI message header information to the server.
Prior to SP11, a SOAP fault resulted in the application or system error, depending on whether the SOAP fault contained a detail child element or not. This behavior contradicted the communication model. Therefore, it has been changed so that the adapter generates the system error for any SOAP fault in asynchronous calls.
When you want to check duplicates in your web service, you should configure your receiver channel to pass the XI message header information to the server. When your web service indeed find a duplicate, assuming that the previous message was simply lost, your web service should return an HTTP 200 with an empty SOAP envelope.

    Hi siva,
check this blog on HTTP errors.
    /people/krishna.moorthyp/blog/2006/07/23/http-errors-in-xi
May be the URL you have given in SOAP at receiver adapter is wrong.Check that once.
    Error: 404 Not Found
Description: The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address. This status code is commonly used when the server does not wish to reveal exactly why the request has been refused, or when no other response is applicable.
    Possible Tips:- for HTTP_RESP_STATUS_CODE_NOT_OK 404
u2022 404 is an HTTP response code that indicates that the resource in question couldn't be found. Usually this is due to an incorrect URL, so it is better to cross check all URLs. Check pipeline URL in the SLD in the business system of the Integration Server For this go to SLD->Business System-><yourIntegrtaion Server>->Pipeline URL: It should be like this http://<host>:<port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry Where host is the host name of the Integration Server and port is the HTTP(8xxx) port. To verify this in Integration Server you can do like this. Go to SXMB_ADM->Integration Engine Configuration->Choose Edit from Menu -> Change Global Configuration Data to switch to change mode. Then select System Landscape - Load Configuration. (This is not required always)
u2022 Check that the port really is the ICM HTTP Port and not the J2EE port i.e SMICM then menu GOTO --> SERVICES and check the port number for HTTP. It should be HTTP port
u2022 If the error is Page cannot be displayed, cannot find server in https configurations Check and correct the SSL configuration for the ABAP and the J2EE side of the system
u2022 If the error is because of integration server when using Proxy communications then check these. i.e SXMB_ADM->Integration Engine Configuration->Corresponding Integration Server enrty should be dest://<Http Integration server-Destination> Where < Http Integration server -Destination > is the RFC destination (SM59) of type HTTP connection (type H) to the Integration Server. In this case, host name, port, and path prefix are saved in the RFC destination.
    Thanks,
    Vijaya.

    Hi,
possible solution could be a ConversionException in you RFC Adapter because of mismatching data types in your source and receiver message.
Just goto RWB an monitor the Processing Details for Cluster Node Server of your adapter in the Channel Monitoring.
Afterwards you have to adjust your importing or exporting structure of the used RFC function module.
    Cheers,

This is not needed at all.
Your RFC adapter and the TCP IP Connection should use the same Program ID. No need for registering it in the VA.
Just make sure that the Gateway Host and Service in the Sender RFC adapter and in the TCP IP Connection use the Gateway Host and service of the R3 system.

    Hi,
The error message states you are using a java mapping. Have you testd the mapping?
You can use these blogs for this,

  • Error in WebDynpro with WebServices

    Hi all,
I’m getting some errors using applications deployed in WEB AS SP9 that runs as a WebDynpro IView in EP.
Running the application as standalone (out of EP) this works fine.
    NetWeaver Developer Studio 2.0.9
WebDynpro application using WebServices that access Oracle 8i database in the follow sequence:
WebServices -> Session Bean stateless -> Entity Bean CMP (manage connections; generate sql code, etc.)
In WebDynpro application we import WebService Model by the follow sequence:
New Model - Import Web Service Model - Local Server for WSDL Source - <WebService deployed>
In each WebServices we have created these methods:
    findByID(ID);
    getAll();
    insert(parameters);
    remove(ID);
    update(parameters);
We guess that the error is generated in Entity Bean because all WebServices generate these errors.

    Hi,
I feel this error is nothing to do with webservice model.
Please check your application properties like startupPlug,Interface View etc. Set the properties correctly and deploy once again.

  • Error when calling a Webservice's public method in Forms10g

    Hi,
I'm getting the following error when calling a webservice's public method, i'm using Forms10g 10.1.2.3
java.rmi.RemoteException; nested exception is: HTTP transport error javax.xml.soap.SOAPException
    java.security.PrivilegedActionException javax.xml.soap.SOAPException
Message send failed javax.net.ssl.SSLException SSL handshake failed X509CertChI have added the Jar containing the client proxy in both Classpaths(system variable and default.env), the jar has been made with jdk 1.4
I also have tested the client proxy from jDeveloper and it's working there, but in Forms i'm getting this error.
I guess my problem might be that i'm calling a webservice that is secured since the url starts with https
what should i do to fix this ??
    Regards
    Carlos

I understand, so i have a doubt, why the webservice works on jDeveloper ??Not just JDeveloper even soapUI and Neatbeans have a way of working without a client certificate installed.
I do not know how they achieve it. I know that they work without a client DC.
    Cheers,
PS: See this http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8887434/webservices-ssl-https, it offers a clue.
The java programs run unhindered when one-way authentication is being used. These products ship with a digital certificate that is in the path of most popular CAs.
Corollary, if the Web Server is configured for mutual authentication then you need to install and configure the client certificate in the tools.

  • SAAJ0537: Invalid Content-Type. Could be an error message instead of a SOAP

    Hi,
At present i am using JCAPS version 5.1.1
    com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.SOAPExceptionImpl: Invalid Content-
Type:text/html. Is this an error message instead of a SOAP response?
I got above error message while invoking the webservice.
My intention is to get HttpRequest from user and based on the input from user, a web service should be invoked. For this i am using BusinessProcess[einsight]
In my BusinessProcess, i have HttpServer processRequest service,
to receive HTTP requests and then i am passing the value of parameter received from http[As String] to next partner which is responsible for invoking a webservice.[Used a wsdl in client mode]
I am able to get http request successfully , but i got error while invoking web service.
Please let me know, what to do for rectifying error.

Although this is an aged topic, this is plaguing our development efforts currently. I have successfully created a webservice that can be executed externally using the generated wsdl but I am unable to get a JCD to execute the WS without getting the following error:

    Hi All,
We have a scenario of FTP-->PI---> Webservice.  While triggering the data in the FTP, it is failing in the PI with the below error
SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/PARSING/ADAPTER.SOAP_EXCEPTION - soap fault: Server was unable to read request. ---> There is an error in XML document (1, 447). ---> Input string was not in a correct format.
    Can you please help?

Hi Raja- It seems to be a data quality issue.
Check for the value @ 1447 position in the xml message that you are trying to send to web service..
may be a date filed/decimal value which is not in expected format.

    Hi,
I am still having the same problem, however the scenario in which I am getting varies.
    I am getting this exception:
"com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxm.soap.accessor.NestedSOAPException: IOError while working with the message."
Some users when trying to login into the portal are getting blank screen and for some the portal launcher page is loading fine and could go to the Home Page.
When I view the logs I am seeing the Nested Soap Exception.
Any Ideas??? Starting the J2EE engine also did'nt help.
    Thanks in advance.
