Error in Shared lib.

Question

after prelim setup to install ebs 12.0 while executing the statement #./rapidwiz gives following error, any assistance please?
*/u02/StageR12.0_Linux32/startCD/Disk1/rapidwiz/jre/Linux/1.5.0/bin/java: error while loading shared libraries: libpthread.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory*
im using OEL 5.2, EBS 12.0

The problem is apparently caused by runWizard.sh setting LD_ASSUME_KERNEL to 2.4.19 based on wrong version calculation. The workaround is to comment out line 111 of runWizard.sh which is located in /Disk1/rapidwiz/bin . This workaround should ONLY be implemented in case of Enterprise Linux 5 Update 3.
