Error in the mail step

Hi Friends,
We are implementing "Project Systems" in SAP. Here i am supposed to send a mail to the applicant once all the necessary approvals are done via workflow. The entire workflow is working fine except the last step which is for sending mail.
This mail step has the following attributes:
Object: SELFITEM
METHOD : SENDTASKDESCRIPTION
In the task binding, i am passing the APPLICANT(concatenation of US and username) to ADDRESSSTRINGS and USERTYPE is 'B'(SAP User).
I have checked everything from my end but can't fugure out the exact cause of error because all the import parameters to the task are getting correctly passed which i verified in SWIA.
Does the user WF-BATCH has anything to do with it ??
What can be the possible causes for this proble ??

The user WF-BATCH was locked. So mails were not getting sent.

How to restart an workflow if ended in error at SEND Mail step.

Hello All
      I am facing some problem in restarting the error workflow.
Issue is:
   Workflow ended in error at the mail notification step, since the mail id is not filled into the container so there is no address (mail id) and ended in error.
   How to restart these kinds of workflow in the system?, we have tried to change the container value by assigning mail id and restarted the workflow but still went into error.
Is it possible to restart an workflow which ended in error other than rule resolution.

I think you went in the write approach. I think you have to change the container properly by populating the ADDRESSTRING container element. Also check whether type of email recipient in your container is et to Email.

Releasing transport request has an error during the 'export' step.

Hello Everyone,
My environment is ERP 6.0 EHP6, AIX 6.3, Oracle 11g.
We have a transport request that was created in our development system by deleting some obsolete roles. When we try to release the transport request to our q/a system it terminates with errors in the export step.
The errors are.
   End of export R3TRTABUUSR10
   no E071K or E071K_STR entries found for R3TRTABUUSR11
   Start export R3TRTABUUSR12 ...
   no E071K or E071K_STR entries found for R3TRTABUUSR13
Of course we cannot create a new transport request because the roles were deleted.
Can someone please explain to me what could have cause this type of error and possibly how to resolve it?

As per your log, no E071K or E071K_STR entries found forR3TRTABUUSR11
no E071K or E071K_STR entries found for R3TRTABUUSR1
Looks like there is no entry found for E071K or E071K_STR in table USR11 and USR13.
Please check those table and make sure the above entries are there, if not that could be the issues.
Also, please check if these tables (USR10, USR11, USR12 USR13) are active in SE14.

Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Have you tried clicking on the lock to see it it will then ask for a passwored. Otherwise, try reblooting.

Error interpreting the mail server response in Messenger Express

Background:
Migrated from Sparc running iMS 6.0 to Linux running iMS 6.3 (from CommSuite 5)
Problem:
Some users, some times experience problems using Messenger Express. They receive the following error in their web browsers: Error interpreting the mail server response.
Attempted solutions:
1) 120230-20 -- no change in behavior
2) reconstruct -r -- didn't fix the issue
3) Support case with Sun -- tech seems to be guessing as a solution and not trying to troubleshoot the issue (growing frustration -- those I am here)
Data gathered:
I turned on the telemetry logging for this user and in the end of the imap session, I see:

This seems to come and go (working sometimes and not working others) for a few (5 or so) users, though, I haven't found any correlation between the users or how they differ from anyone else. Checking email via POP or IMAP works fine (just not via Messenger express).
What else can I look at?

We have a valid support contract and the tech has
never indicated that he has done any research into
this issue -- he only keeps throwing out ideas based
off of nothing. I asked him what he knows about the
mentioned bug. awaiting response.I couldn't comment on this without looking at the case notes.

Error in SEND MAIL step with exception 1001

Hi Experts,
I am getting exception 1001, error message Document <&> could not be sent
when I put my user id in SEND MAIL step. In the same workflow,I put my user id at an activity step,and I am sucessfully receiving work item generated at that activity step in SAP Business workplace inbox.
Can anyone please tell me why exception is happening in SEND MAIL step.

Firstly Workflow was running fine till yesterday.
Secondly, I put expression &_WF_INITIATOR& in the Send Mail step. Notification should go to my SAP business workplace->inbox->Document. But it is not going. Exception 1001 is happening.
But in the same workflow, just at the immediate next activity step I put &_WF_INITIATOR& again as agent. And I am successfully receiving workitem in SAP business workplace->inbox->workflow for this activity step.
Please guide me how to resolve the issue and why suddenly it is happening so.

ERROR in send mail step

In workflow i have user decision step with attachment as PDF, after he rejects i should send a notification to the initiater about rejection, I used send mail step after the user decision step of rejection branch,, the send mail step is giving following error..occurs

is this attachment is creating any problem..

Hi Sunil,
In the user decision step check the binding. The attachment should be binded from workflow container to the task container and from the task container to the workflow container.
The description given by you indicates that the binding has been done one way only i.e. from workflow container to the task container. It should also be from the task container to the workflow container.
Since it is not able to get an instance of the '_ATTACH_OBJECTS' it is giving an error.

Hi Viji,
Yeah u r right, status is not passing because i have change the class name in the binding and put my copied class name, so it is not compatable with the standard class since i have added one custom class to it. so i have chaged the class names in all steps and replaced the standard class name.
Now i am facing the same old problem, workflow is started but showing errors in my custom added step, since it is having my custom class mentioned in the binding and it is not instatiating.
Please tell me how to instatiate the class and get the values from the methods in workflow.

Can no longer access blueyonder emails on iphone.I get the following error message: The mail server 'imap4.blueyonder.co.uk is not responding', how do I fix pls?

As I've mentioned above, I can't seem to access my emails from my blueyonder account on my iphone. When I first set up my account on the phone, I had no problems at all receiving emails. Then recently, just out of the blue I get the following error message: 'Cannot Get Mail, The Mail Server 'imap4.blueyonder.co.uk' is not responding. Verfiy that you have entered the correct account info in mail settings. I definitely have the right settings, I even checked with Virgin but they are not able to assist with my problem. Has anyone else experienced this problem, if so,how did you fix it? If you could explain in simple terms as I'm not tech savvy!

ERROR in the wait step

Hi all,
I have a requirement, where automatic payment proposal goes for an approval process. When the proposal has created in the tcode F110 based upon user who has loged in a push button "Trigger Workflow" will appear once proposal is made (enchansment), When the user press this button workflow will be triggered using the function module. After that i am finding the approver details. After this step type, i am checking for the condition (payment or proposal) if it is proposal flow will proceed futher. After this i have used a fork step - two branches 1. for the workflow proceed further 2. cancle the workflow when and event "ZSAVE_ON_CLICK" (custome defined event) is triggered.
I am getting the error at this wait step. The error is ""Workflow 000000703573 wait step 0000000248: No valid object ID in container element 'ZbusF110'""
Thing i have done.
1. I check the binding, here i am passing two key values of the bo to my workflow container from the event container.
2. When i tried to bind the EVTOBJECT to zbusf110 - it is giving me an warining "'_EVT_OBJECT' is not an export element and hence sometimes has no defined value"

While replaying ajax truclient scipt in loadrunner i am getting "this connection is untrust" error in the 40th step. I tried by deleting cert8 file but no use

Add this exeception permanently check box is disable when i got the exeception certificate file. i tried with by deleting cert8.db file in loadrunner ajax truclient profile but still same result.

Is that content loaded in an iframe?
You can check that via the right-click context menu to see if there is a "This Frame" item.<br />
If that is the case then try top open the frame in a new tab or otherwise check the Technical Details of the error message.

Ignore errors in the Operator steps

Hi
Is there a way to ignore errors in an Operator task step without checking "Ignore Errors" box located on the Definition tab of that step? So far the only way I can run it is to check that box and execute the interface by right clicking the Operator task and selecting rerun, but that way I can't schedule it.. Thanks for you help..

In your interface,go to Control tab give 100% in Maximum number error allowed.
