Error in workflow FM SAP_WAPI_WRITE_CONTAINER

Hi All,
We have a class method which is seating behind a task. The class method reads the container for a work item id and then we add an extra field to it, and then we write it back to the work item id container using SAP_WAPI_WRITE_container.
This gives us an error and the error message received is "Cannot call WAPI interface 'SAP_WAPI_WRITE_CONTAINER' in this context".
The return code of FM is 900.
For test purpose i even removed adding the new entry and just tried to write the container that is read, back to the work item id, but still i get the same error.
Has anyone come across this situation before?

I parked document using Tcode MIRO, when WF has been executed and goods receipt document has been created.At the time that we tried to link this goods receipt to parked invoice document in the workflow,The problem happens with work item saying the status as Error. See the below error.

In SWEL go to workflow trace and see what exactly is the error. This error description is too generic to arrive at soln.

Error in Workflow for PR Overall Release

Dear SAP Fans,
I am getting error in workflow (WS20000077) after release of Purchase Requisition with first person and getting message in OutBox with the following errors and is unable to go to next person's Inbox for release PR.
   Error when creating a work item
   Error when processing node '0000000004' (ParForEach index 000000)
   Error when creating a component of type 'Etapa'
   Error when starting work item 000000392108
   Agent determination for step '0000000004' failed
   Error in resolution of rule 'AC20000026' for step '0000000004'
   No configuration for workflow WS20000077 version 0001
   Work item 000000392108: Object FLOWITEM method EXECUTE cannot be executed
How can I correct the above errors. Please help me !!!.

Please check, If some one changed WF-USER password.
also check if the WF-USER is a Service user and not dialog user.

I do not see any similar issues reported in MOS website that could be relevant to Workflow.
Can you find any errors in the database log file?

Error handling workflow not getting triggered

Hi all,
I'm creating a outbound IDoc. And for error handling workflow.. I created a organization structure in PPOME and assigned users. I gave this position number thus created in the partner profile in post processing permitted agent tab.
But when the Idoc is in error, this is not coming to my inbox.
Can someone please help me with this.. and let me know what went wrong.

Here you need to be careful,
if the agent assignment is not maintained properly, there may be a chance everyone in the organization will get the item.
I hope you have created a single workitem for error handling. goto additional data-> agent assignment-> maintain. make sure the attribute is defined as general forwarding allowed. or you maintain the role/position/user/whatever.as the possible agents. still you dont get the result, debugging the default rule in the task ->default rule -> agent.

Error in Workflow JTFTASK

Hi,
Ours is 11.5.10.2 version. Once we login to Oracle applications, above of responsibility list. we see some messages like
"Error in Workflow JTFTASK /20991-10881 3205: 'AASTML' is not a valid role or user name. ".
From where it's generating these type of messages and how to get rid of them.
Please help me.

Do you have this profile enabled as Yes at either Site or user level?

Change the value to No and test. Looks like one of the workflows (JTFTASK) that are sending this notifications has errored.

The thing is that I transferred the databases from a Prod.Env. to the Test Env. and from that moment on the Test Env. stopped working (only workflows), then I
was thinking that maybe the workflow is not working in the Test Environment because when I transferred the databases from Prod Env to Test Env I didn’t transfer the databases related to workflow, I only transferred:
WSS_Content
PWA_ServiceDB
But I didn’t transfer:
SBGatewayDatabase
SBManagementDB
SBMessageContainer01
WFInstanceManagementDB
WFManagementDB
WFResourceManagementDB
I didn’t transfer them because, before, when I transferred DB’s in version 2010, these DB’s were not needed, as the workflows were done using another method.
So, I tried to create a new workflow in the Test Env. but there is no way, I always get that error.
I've tried to Register again the workflow, and the result looks ok, but it doesn't solve the problem:
Register-SPWorkflowService
–SPSite "http://whatever/PWA"
–WorkflowHostUri "http://TestServer:12291"
–AllowOAuthHttp -Force
Do you know how to solve this issue or have an idea to give me some light?

Looks like you haven't defined the WF scope or the site where you are trying to deploy the workflow to isn't included in the scope

Error in Workflow for Parked Document (FV60)

Hi Workflow Experts,
I have a FI document parking Workflow scenario which is 3 level release that is if the amount is upto 10000 first person will release if it's more than that upto 20000 then second user has to release ,if more than that then third user will post.
For this i have activated the main workflow WS10000051 and for two level release i have activated the sub workflows WS10000052 for first level release and WS10000053 for secondlevel release and WS10000054 for thirdlevel release.
I have also done the Release strategy configuration in SPRO such as
in the following SPRO steps
1) Create Workflow Variant for Parking Document
2) Define Entry Screens for Parking Document
3) Assign Compaany Code to a Workflow variant for Parking Documents
4) Define Release Approval Groups for Parking Documents
5) Define Release Approval Path for Parking Doc
6) Assign Release Approval Path for Parking Documents
7) Assign Release Approval Procedure for Parking Doc
8) Define Users with Release Authorization for Parking Document. ( I have assigned the Position of CEO created in HR to this)
Now when the document is parked it throws the error
Error in workflow Customizing for document parking (tranasction OBWE) and it stops in the step Determining Sub Workflow.
Has anyone come across this issue.Please guide me in resolving in this issue, i am not able to identify whether this error is happening in workflow or due to some missed entries in SPRO settings of FI.
So please provide me how to do settings in SPRO For Parking, mainly in Tcode OBWE.

Hope you 've gone thru this link already, if not, pl. go thru the above link. Also, give us more details on the error you see on the wflow log, like you are not getting any wflow template ID in the cont.element "&ACTIVITY_000043_TASK&", This should have either WS10000052, 53 or 54 depending on the Amt. level. See if you are getting any value here. If not, then there is somethign wrong in your OBWE settings.
Also, sometimes, even though this step of "Determe Subworkflow" step works fine, if there is no proper agent assignment, then also, it cannot create work item for next step of Sub wflow and hence will error out.
Pl .check the above. May be a detailed error message from wflow log would help us out in suggesting better.

Error "Approval workflow fragment has no user assignment"

Hi all,
We are implementing the workflow for n level approval of SC WS14000133.Now when we try to add adhoc approvers by clicking on the ADD APPROVER button,we get the foll error:
"Approval workflow fragment has no user assignment".
I have already referred similar threads on SDN and also the corresponding notes including this one,Error "Approval workflow fragment has no user assignment".The latest note for this error applies for SP08 while we are on SRM server 5.5(SP11).
Has anybody faced a similar issue before?Any inputs will be appreciated.

Hello Friends,
I have developed a custom sequential workflow in SharePoint Server 2010 using VS 2010. My workflow gets activated and then creates a new task in the Tasks List.
But "Error Occurred" gets displayed in the Workflow column in the default view of my document library instead of "In Progress".
I debugged my code and there are no errors in it. But I found the below error in \14\LOGS\:
"SharePoint Foundation Workflow Infrastructure Error: 88xr Unexpected WinWF Internal Error,terminating workflow Id#03888be1-28c8-409d-bc65-7115bc17edfa"
I have set the properties correctly for the workflow activities in VS 2010.
Can anybody help me solve this error?

Ok. I was able to fix the issues after changing jdk version in ant script. Now I am getting following new error.....I am providing manage console url and OIM admin user i.g. xelsysadm.

Error: "The workflow could not delete the list item"

Have set up 2 lists: Events and EventsArchive. They have all the same fields. I have created a workflow in SPD using an impersonation step (I have Full control of the site/site collection). Workflow is essentially this:
    If Curent Item:Expired
equals
Yes
       Copy item in Current Item to
EventsArchive
       then Delete item in
Current Item.
The item is copying over to the EventsArchive list just fine, but the "delete" part is not happening. Instead, I get the following error:
The workflow could not delete the list item. Make sure the list exists and the user has permissions to delete items in the list.
The list obviously exists (or I wouldn't be able to copy an item from it), and I have as much permissions as anyone can have, so I'm not sure where else to turn with this.

To test the issue, I create a simple workflow without using Impersonation step:
It works.
Could you please create new lists to avoid custom settings and test the issue again?
