Error installing 11gR2 on windows 8

I downloaded oracle database 11gR2 software for windows X64 platform from OTN. it contains two distinct zip files(file1 and file2). the first file extracted but couldn't do the same for the second file. It keeps telling me zip file is empty. I decided to go along and install but after 40% (copying file), I got an error saying the file path was not found
' File not found C:\app\Chike\product\11.2.0\dbhome_2\owb\external\oc4j_applications\applications\WFMGRApp'
pls I need possible solutions to solve this.

First, Win 8 is not a certified OS to install 11gR2 - Oracle Database Preinstallation Requirements
Which version of Win 8 ? If you have Pro or Enterprise, you will have to install 12c - Oracle Database Preinstallation Tasks
Home versions of Windows are not certified for any Oracle installs.
You will need to download both zip files, then unzip both into a single directory before running setup.exe. Your unzip issue indicates that the second zip file is corrupted.

i have downloaded the oracle 11gR2 for windows 32 bit version but while installing "copying files" i am getting the error "file missing <>\applicatons\OC4J\em\em.ear and em.war files...
is there files missed while down loads? i have two zip files with 1.5 GB and 700MB of sizes.
i might think the anti-virus might be preventing some of the ear and war files to be downloaded ? anybody encountered this issue before?

This message will be issued if files necessary for installation are not found in product distribution. Most likely cause for this is that your distribution file has been corrupted, so if possible do the fresh download and try again.

Ive tryed uninstalling and re installing. But i cant seem to get it to install. iTunes shows up in programs but its not installed correctly and wont open.

I did not have this problem, but some people did with Lr3b2 - unfortunately not resolved by the users, and I guess not by Adobe either, at least not in all cases.

These ones are typically caused by underlying problems on the PC that also often cause Windows Updates to fail to install. If we can fix the Windows Update trouble, we can usually get the iTunes trouble cleaned up en passant.
Go into your Windows update and try to check for new updates. If updates install, stock up on the ones you're behind on, restarting the PC if requested to do so. After the restart, try installing iTunes again. Does it go through this time for you?
If windows updates fail to install, go into your Update History and doubleclick the failures. What alphanumeric codes appear for you? Are they also 80071A30, or some other number? (If they're another number, what number are you getting?)

Error installing 10g on Windows Server 2003

I am trying to install Oracle 10g on a Windows Server 2003 box. I'm following the instructions listed here: http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/10gr2_db_single/install/wininst/wininst_otn.htm
Everything seems to go fine up until step 8. My Oracle Net Configuration Assistant fails. I get an error dialog titled "java.exe - Entry Point Not Found" the error message is "The procedure entry point longjmp could not be located in the dynnamik link library orauts.dll."
Does anyone have an idea what's wrong here?

The OUI 10.2.0.1 of the base release software distribution was used to install the new
component from the base release on top of the 10.2.0.2 Oracle Home.
The OUI 10.2.0.1 is not compatible with the 10.2.0.2 orauts.dll installed under the Oracle Home. OUI 10.2.0.1 and 10.2.0.2 are using different versions of orauts.dll. The OUI 10.2.0.2 located under %ORACLE_HOME%\oui\bin should be used for installing any new component (from the base release):
1. Run the setup.exe program located under %ORACLE_HOME%\oui\bin
2. Select the "products.xml" from the 10.2.0.1 DVD under database\stage or under the staging area
3. Select the component to be installed
4. After installing the additional component from the base release software distribution,
re-apply the current patchset, e.g. 10.2.0.2
~ Madrid.

Iam installing ORacle10g on WinXP. After selecting the Installation type as " Personal Edition" option, i get an error message " Thrown when the ip address of the host cannnot be determined" and it gives me 4 options..
Retry, cancel, help, and continue...
IIS is not Installed...on this box.

In the "Local Area Connection 2" pop up window I select "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" and click the Properties button but I'm not sure what to add after this.

Errors installing CS5 in Windows XP

I'm trying to install CS5 on a Window XP computer. When I start the EXE it says it needs Applications Manager to install it. When I try to install the Application Manager it gives me an error and says use Support Advisor to resovled the issues. SA only says it is a bootstrapper issue and restart in progress, click to learn more. I click to learn more and followed all steps, still no resolution. Was told by error message in iTunes to uninstall and reinstall iTunes. Now iTunes will not install on my pc running Windows 8. It errors out even after I shut down and tried again.

I am having the same problem, please... installed and uninstalled many times, it says its up to date now, iphone is recognised, and when launching iTunes getting this message " This iphone cannot be used, because the required software is not installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes. then install the 64-bit version of Itunes."
but it is 64-bit version!!!
