  • JDev 10.1.3 how to invoke oc4j_remote_deploy.jar from command line?

    Hi, does anyone know how to invoke the JDev 10.1.3 oc4j_remote_deploy.jar from the command line? We have it working for 10.1.2, for automated deployment scripts.
    If I try the same thing for 10.1.3, I get an error.
    See below my command line and the output.
    I think the error is in the Oc4jDcmServlet URL, the format seems to have changed from 10.1.2 to 10.1.3.
    I tried to reverse-engineer by using an HTTP tracer, but that did not help.
    Any help would be much appreciated.

    ============ end output =================================

    In my opinion, you will succeed in handling linefeeds in output texts by using an <tt><af:outputFormatted></tt> tag in conjuction with a JSF converter that replaces the linefeeds with a <tt>&lt;br></tt> tag in the text. You will have to implement a custom converter class (this is quite simple, see below) and to set it to the <tt>converter</tt> attribute of the <tt><af:outputFormatted></tt>. The converter class should look like:
    public class MyLinefeedConverter implements javax.faces.convert.Converter
      public MyLinefeedConverter() {
      public Object getAsObject(FacesContext context, UIComponent component, String value) {
        return value;
      public String getAsString(FacesContext context, UIComponent component, Object value) {
        if (value==null) return "";
        if (value instanceof String) return ((String)value).replace("\n", "<br>");
        return value.toString();
    }In this way the linefeeds in your text values will be replaced by <tt>&lt;br></tt>, which will be rendered by the corresponding <af:outputFormatted> tag as line breaks.

  • Error invoking nnfgt.o of makefile ins_new_client.mk

    Hello,
    I have Oracle OMS 10.2.0.1 installed and then upgraded to 10.2.0.5 on an AIX 6.1 (IBM) server.
    I also have Oracle 11.1.0.7 OMS repository database running on the same server.
    After upgrading the OMS to 10.2.0.5, the next step is to upgrade the agent to the same (latest) version.
    Before attempting to run the installer, I ensured all oracle processes (database, listener, and OMS processes) are shut down. No active processes running.
    Then, I start up the patch 3822442 OUI installer for 10.2.0.5.0 agent upgrade as noted in the Oracle documentation.
    All is well until I get to 90% complete and it attempts to link the libraries and executeables.
    I've already submitted a TAR with Oracle, but not getting much response out of them even though it is a P2.
    The errors I'm getting specifically are:
    Error in invoking target nnfgt.o of makefile '/...agent10g/network/lib/ins_net_client.mk'. See log file...
    I checked the log file, and basically it says that this file is generated from another file, 'gennfgt'.
    I checked the make.log file, and it confirms the error as:
    Assembler:
    nnfgt.s: line 13: undefined symbol "n1"
    nnfgt.s: line 13: illegal expression
    make: The error code from the last command is 1.
    I searched this file for the parameter the original error is complaining about, but everything looks as it should.
    Anyone have any ideas?
    One idea I did not try, but noted as a possible concern because I was forced to unset was the ENV parameter before running the OUI. I did not do that this time because I forgot, but I don't think it would be the problem.
    Thanks in advance for anyone who might have some insights about this.
    Ji li

    Hi,
    I am currently running into this problem, and I have tried to unset the ENV as suggested, but I still ran into the same problem... I think I might have some AIX stuff that is not compatible with the OEM agent or something, can you (Ji Li) run "oslevel -s" and let me know what your output is? Thanks.
    Or if someone has any other ideas that can help me, please let me know.
    Thanks much.

  • A severe error occurred on the current command. The results, if any, should be discarded.

    I have a strange situation on a database, which are on SQL Server 2008 R2 Express SP2. The database size is something around 90 MB.
    When a user try to insert a record inside one table, he receive an error message,  and the program is disconnected from the database. I tried to investigate this issue, and I discovered that when user try to insert one row  the trigger for
    insert invoke also the trigger for update and sql server crushes with "A severe error occurred on the current command.  The results, if any, should be discarded."
    I have checked from SQL Server Management Studio to run a direct Update on the specific table. The same error occurred.
    I have run DBCC CheckTable and no errors have been found. I also have run DBCC CHECKDB and no errors.
    Because I also have 3 other different databases, with the same functionality, on the same server which are going well with more than 100 000 records in that specific table, and the triggers are going well for more than 5 years, I have assumed that some
    problems occurs inside the database. That is why I have copied all the records from the "damage" database to a new one. This means that inside the new databases the indexes are regenerated and a new space will be allocated.
    The same strange things are happening. The same table can not be updated with a very basic Update statement.
    I am looking for a patch or KB to solve this issues.
    Any ideas are will be appreciated.
    Thank you

    there is a file as response to one of my tests to investigate which command is responsible for this error.

  • Invoking XSLT from the Command Line with JRE1.4 and JRE1.5

    When I invoke XSLT from the Windows Command Line with "java.exe org.apache.xalan.xslt.Process -IN OldFile.xml -XSL StyleSheet.xsl -OUT NewFile.xml" it worked fine with JRE1.4.
    Then I installed JRE1.5.0_09. The class "org.apache.xalan.xslt.Process" was moved to "com.sun.org.apache.xalan.internal.xslt.Process". But when I call it with "java.exe com.sun.org.apache.xalan.internal.xslt.Process -IN OldFile.xml -XSL StyleSheet.xsl -OUT NewFile.xml" I get the error "Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: main". When I look into the Process class there is no "main", but a "public static void _main(String argv[])".
    The "JAXP Compatibility Guide for the J2SE Platform, versions 1.4 and 1.5" on "http://java.sun.com/webservices/docs/1.6/jaxp/JAXP-Compatibility_150.html" chapter "Invoking XSLT from the Command Line" claims it should work.
    Is there no more chance to invoke XSLT from the Windows Command Line? Why is "main" renamed to "_main"? Is the documentation wrong or is this a bug?

  • [SOLVED]Built pacman in Debian, getting 'error invoking external downl

    Hi, I've built pacman in Debian and now whenever I try to run any pacman command involving repositories, I get 'error invoking external downloader'. I've configured repositories, but I feel like the problem is with libfetch. I could only build libdownload which is a fork of libfetch.

    libdownload is our ancient fork of libfetch -- do not use it. It's not even the same library, and it required buildsys changes to use. Honestly, I don't recommend libfetch either. Looks to me like you didn't build pacman with internal downloader support at all.
    You won't find a tarball of libfetch anywhere because its part of NetBSD core. Arch keeps a snapshot, which you can download.
    Regardless, I suggest looking at our PKGBUILDs for sane build time options: 4.0.1, 3.5.4

  • WordPress MySQL Error Code: 1142. INSERT command denied to user

    Problem: I have been working on a WP Multi-Site for two months. Working away last Sunday and it stopped saving changes to my WP Post and Pages.
    I cannot rename folders at the root of the site i.e. rename Plugins folder to Plugins-hidden to reset the plugins as a troubleshooting effort. When I try to rename the folder I (as administrator) gets
    FTP 550 Access Denied message. When I connect to the MySQL DB using MySQL Workbench it does not let me perform any INSERT type function; only SELECT. When I do it gives me the following error:
    Error Code: 1142. INSERT command denied to user 'b37d600426923a'@'168.62.52.141' for table
    Basically the admin account has lost all of its admin access to the DB and host files. This is a STOPWORK scenario and I need help from an expert.
    Thanks in advance for any and all contributions to this issue.

    Hi Sam,
    This error is because JDBC 2.0 feature is not completely implemented in Oracle Lite database.
    So, you might want to go for an SOA Advanced Install with 10.2.0.3 oracle database to resolve your issue.
    Hope this helps!

    I had saved one copy as an .asp but then resaved it to .xhtml
    I'm assuming this is a static web site.  Rename (F2) all your pages with .html or .htm extension.
    .xhtml is not a valid extension.

  • After updating to 3.6.10 links in Outlook 2007 no longer open - "An error occurred in sending the command to the application"

    After updating to Firefox 3.6.10 this morning, Outlook 2007 can no longer open up links embedded in emails. Normally when you clicked a link it would open up Firefox and send you to the website, but when you click on any link it now says:
    General failure. The URL was: [url here]
    An error occurred in sending the command to the application.
    I don't know what happened. I didn't change any other settings on the computer.
    I am running Windows 7 64 Professional, MS Outlook 2007 with latest updates, and Firefox 3.6.10

  • MS SQL server is going down frequently(10 days of gap) with exception message: "A severe error occurred on the current command. The results, if any, should be discarded".

    MS SQL server is going down frequently(10 days of gap) with exception message: "A severe error occurred
    on the current command. The results, if any, should be discarded". We are facing this issue for past two month.But funny thing is server will be up automatically with out any service restart manually.  Also if we try to restart the SQL
    server service manually then SQL server will be in a dead lock situation and it will not come up even if we wait for long time. Then we should do a windows server machine restart to
    make the SQL sever up. As a suggestion from Microsoft to fix this kind of similar issue,
    we have installed service pack 3 for SQL Server. But even after we are facing same issue.
    Server Details:
    Server OS: Windows Server 2008 R2
    Two type of database servers are installed on server:
    1. MS SQL Server 2008 R2
    2. My SQL
    Also Reporting server is configured for the purpose of generating SSRS report from a dot net website.
     NOTE:Immediately after the data retrieval/save, we are closing the connection explicitly by the
    application.
    we have checked the windows event log and below are the details:

    Could anybody can suggest any kind of fix for this issue? Thanks in advance.

    Hi YesYemPee,
    I have tried but still not clear about your issue, I would like you provide more details information about your issue based on below points to better analysis about the issue:
    What action did you do and caused the error "A severe error occurred on the current command. The results, if any, should be discarded", did you run report on the web application or something else then the error happen?
    If you rendering the report and got the error, please try to provide us more error information in the log files which path like:
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10_50.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\LogFiles
    If it is not the case in step1, Please try to provide SQL Server Error log(SQL Server Logs) and more details information.
    If you still have any problem, please feel free to ask.

  • I am trying to create a new profile, but I cannot open profile manager in Mac OS 10.5.8. I get the following error: "dyld: unknown required load command 0x80000022 Trace/BPT trap".

    Hello,
    I am trying to repair my Firefox profile, but I cannot open profile manager in Mac OS 10.5.8. When I follow the directions for opening profile manager in my Terminal utility, I get the following error: "dyld: unknown required load command 0x80000022 Trace/BPT trap".
    At this point, Firefox (v 5.0 or previous versions), is not running.
    Thanks.

    [http://asqueella.blogspot.com/2010/12/dyld-unknown-required-load-command.html Here's an Explanation]. Basically you need to add "arch -i386 " at the beginning of the command because 10.5 is 32-bit only and more recent versions of Firefox default to 64-bit.

  • Error invoking 'set_xslt_locale':'java.lang.IllegalAccessError

    I am running seeded sourcing pages. I am getting following exception when i try to print an RFQ from JDeveloper:
    Error invoking 'set_xslt_locale':'java.lang.IllegalAccessError: tried to access class oracle.apps.fnd.i18n.common.text.DigitList from class oracle.apps.fnd.i18n.common.text.ExcelNumberFormat'
    Re: XML Publisher common user interface document viewer
    In the above thread, i found below steps to resolve this:
    Cause:
    Essentially the problem is caused by incompatible versions of classes in the oracle.apps.fnd.i18n.* package held in the file jdevbin\jdev\appslibrt\aolj.jar versus the classes used by the BI Publisher libraries. The 'set_xslt_locale' method was introduced in BI publisher version 5.6.3 so if you have upgraded to this version on the server it is likely that you will get this error in JDeveloper.
    Solution:
    1) You will first need to copy the following file to your local JDev install and add it as a library via Project Settings --> Libraries :
    $FND_TOP/java/3rdparty/stdalone/xdoparser.zip
    2) Next fetch the latest version of the oracle.apps.fnd.i18n.* classes from $OA_JAVA. Create a zip file of these files (i.e. i18n.jar), copy to your local JDev install and add it as a library as you did with the xdoparser.zip.
    3) Copying these files alone will not solve the problem because JDeveloper will use the oracle.apps.fnd.i18n.* classes located in the jdevbin\jdev\appslibrt\aolj.jar file before using the ones located in the file added in step 2 (i18n.jar). To get round this, ensure that the the library you have added for the i1n8.jar file is higher in the list (under Project Settings  Libraries) than the libraries “FND Libraries” & “OA Developer Libraries” (if selected). This will ensure that the files in i18n.jar are used prior to those in jdevbin\jdev\appslibrt\aolj.jar. If this does not work (some users have found this approach not to work), make a backup of the file jdevbin\jdev\appslibrt\aolj.jar and then manully remove all files in the oracle.apps.fnd.i18n package from the file.
    4) In addition to the above copy the file $OA_HTML/xdo_doc_display.jsp to your local OA_HTML directory (usually jdevhome\jdev\myhtml). You should also set the temporary directory of the XML Publisher (under Admin) to a directory that exists on your PC (eg. /var/tmp on your PC will be c:\var\tmp).
    I am new to Java/JDeveloper/OAF.
    Can someone please help me with the above steps?
    I am unable to post anything in OA Framework forum.

    Yes, the OA Framework forum is "broken"
    However, that is the best place to get help for this question.
