Error is coming in report feild

Dear all,
We had a report developed in DSO,we had created a query on the top of this DSO but while executing the report we are
getting error in some of the fields as subject,these fields are currency fields link local currency,extrcost etc..
request you all to pls tell us what need to be done to remove this ERROR from the report.

Check if the currency key for your value field is getting updated in the DSO. ERROR appears when there is no currency key for your value field in the DSO. Populate the currency key for your key figure and problem should be fixed.

There is a strange situation i am facing with one XML report.XML data definition of this report has two trigger.
One before report trigger and other after report trigger.
While running(using concurrent program) the report is completed with following error:

The problem is that "after report" trigger is not getting called,because i have added one debug message which is not getting printed in the log file.

I am wondering how after getting error from XDO data engine ,process is continuing and why afterreport trigger is not executing.

You pl/sql package is failing with
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character to number conversion error
it means, you are trying to convert a string to number, and it fails.
Test the package with the original data.

Report error while download the report.-ORA-06502

When I trying to download the classical report,It give the above error when report having the more than 26 column to print,
The download report format what ever may be except .csv.
Any solution for this?

Error in classical report download by print server link.This is a PDF output that your are generating?
Which Report Server have you configured? This error is coming from Report Server.
The Standard Report Server has its limitations. If are using Std then maybe you have hit one of them.

when i execute the qurey in bex its showing error message coming with popup box.
Error is showing like this.

but when i click on "OK" button its showing result.can any body tell me why its showing error message like this .

you default method is WEB so its useing URl to open the results, change the setting to use analyzer(XLS) and update your GUI Front End patch.

Error while running the Report

Hi ,
I am trying to run the Report in Bex Analyzer. and once I enter the value for the variable, it gives me message that "Element is not correctly define (please check query)" and when i click on the error it gives me detail message as below :

Additional elements that do not have the same dimension, such as quantities and amounts or amounts and ratios, are added to element Sales Qty Gallons .
Procedure
Check your definition.
If you still want to use this addition, you can suppress the dimensionality of one or both subexpressions by using the 'NODIM' operator. The system then interprets this or these subexpressions as nondimensional numbers.
In the executed query, you can use the Key Figure Definition function to analyze element Sales Qty Gallons .
Now the thing is I am already using "NODIM" operator to add those elements. and I m not sure why this error is coming up now because I have created this query a while ago and it wasnt giving me any error at that time but now I have make some changes into it and it;s giving me this error while running the Report. But the thing is I didnt change anything in the element for which it;s showing me error.

There are two or more key figures in your report. They are defined by different dimensions and somewhere you have a formula with both these key figure.
Edit your query and select the Check Query icon. It will tell you which calculation you have the problem with. Edit this calculation to see which key figures are present.
If the formula is logically correct, best thing to do is to put a NODIM( ) on your key figures that make up the formula, and then change you formula to look at the NODIM( ) version.
That will fix things for you,

Actually the error is coming for the below logics:
COUNT(DISTINCT RMA.RMA)/COUNT(DISTINCT User."User Name")
"RMA Fact"."Module Backlog"/COUNT(DISTINCT User."User Name")
Can anyone please tell if I need to make any configuration changes as the same logic works perfectly fine on production but not on test.

Error while running BIP report, in one of our ST environments

we are getting this exception while running one of our BIP report(RTF template).
the same code is working in the other ST environments
NOTE: we observed some special cases
if the report contain any Graph(chart) then this error is coming,
with the plain report (means only text), we observe it working fine.
could any one help, for debugging this issue

In BI 7.0, Getting Error while executing the report to display on the web?
The error message displayed is:
" Network Access Message : The website cannot be found ".
Source: DNS error.
Why this error is coming.

All the configurations are in proper shape.
We need to change any IP adresses or proxy settings in the Internet explorer (Tools -> Internet options -> Connections -> LAN settings -> etc.,)
Do We need to configure any server address for getting the output to display on web pages in BI 7.0.
EP is not configured over here. Is that causing the problem.

Getting error while exporting the report

Hi,
I am facing error while exporting the report. Getting below error.
"No data can be exported because there are no rows.Operation failed."
how come this error is coming even though my report contains data.
please do the needful.

I am having the same problem. I found this article in which the user was exporting 100,000 plus records and had the same issue exporting (Discoverer workbook exported to excel error - No dta can be exported and they were able to fix it by adjusting two memory settings in their pref.txt file. However, in my report there are only 1,100 records with eleven columns being returned. I export much larger reports on a daily basis.
Originally, the report was returning records and when I would go to retrieve all records it would tell me that all the rows could not be returned and the data may be incomplete. After scrubbing my SQL I no longer get that message, but the report still will not export and I get the same error as you.
I have not tried the pref.txt settings fix but may try it today to see if that is a workaround. I will then have to evaluate whether it is a good fix or just a band-aid.

Database Error While Viewing Crystal Report In Infoview

Hi,
BO and Crystal Designer version is BO XI 3.1 SP2 FP2.6.
Issue:
While viewing crystal report for a particular user id in infoview, following error is coming:
Error in File EPACertificate.rpt: Database Connector Error
However, we are able to view the report in thick client Crystal Designer using same user id. This issue is occurring only for this user and rest of the users are able to view the report in Infoview and Crystal Designer.
It would be great if any of you can provie a solution to this issue.

Status Error - Running Embedded BIP Report

I have developed new report in JDE, our requirement is to have it in BIP so i have designed the rtf template and mapped the JDE fields to this template. Created object repository and report definition usually i do for other reports.
When i run this report i am receiving batch status as Error. but it is running perfectly (in JDE) without the intergeration of BIP. i tried to create report freshly, changed the versions , changed the reoport definition, also i have attached blank rtf and tested still error is coming.
Can anyone advice on this issue ?

Procedure
Analyse the situation and inform SAP.

Hi,I'm getting below error while opening a report in FRstudio client machine. please help me if any of you resolved this issue earlier.

I've seen umarshalling error when there is a difference between the client and server version. Is there a patch applied? I would recommend to uninstall the existing one and install if from Workspace. (this will ensure that you've the correct client version)

check your discoverer user role using:
select granted_role from dba_role_privs where grantee=upper('<username>');
from your database. the database to which the desktop is connecting.
check for connect, resouce, multiorg roles.
