ERROR J2EE OJR0010

I m using version: OC4J 10g (10.1.3) and I tried to start my OC4J with this cript:
java -jar oc4j.jar -userThreads
i got the following error:
2006-06-09 16:55:01.421 ERROR J2EE OJR0010 Exception starting HTTP server: Unable to establish loopback connection
06/06/09 16:55:01 Error initializing server: Unable to start HTTP-Server. default-web-site configuartion may not be valid.
06/06/09 16:55:03 Fatal error: server exiting
I was also using ZoneAlarm, I tried shutting off the Zone Alarm and then started Oc4J and this time it started properly. WHY ? How can i run both ?

Hi,
just a guess, but can you check the windows system \ driver \ etc \ host file for an entry mapping localhost to 127.0.0.1. You may also try adding the machine name with its IP

We have looked for information about the 'Bad version number' error, and we have recompile all our code with the JDK 1.5 (the same JDK for the OC4J). But we still have the error...
    Which may be the problem?...
    Thanks.

The only thing you can do is to make sure that you recompile everything you're using.

    Hi Bill,
Your are able to execute command start SAP succefully by using host

  • Deploy error: j2ee version "2.4" not a valid enumeration type.

    Hi!
I'm tasked with upgrading from WL Server 9.2 to 10.0, and got a strange error when deploying, namely that the contents of the version field of the web-app tag is not a valid enumeration value -- despite what the xsd says about it:
[wldeploy] weblogic.descriptor.DescriptorException: VALIDATION PROBLEMS WERE FOUND

Is there something I can declare to make it happy? I notice the namespace ending in :<null>, is that a problem?
    Thanks in advance,

I am also facing the same issue, Can you please tell me the solution if you have found anything...

  • Install error: J2E already exists

I had to abort my first installation of the Java Sneak Preview, because my C: drive was running out of space. I am using a 2nd disk for the database. After carving out some more room on C:, I tried to cleanly and thoroughly wipe out all traces of the failed install before trying again. Unstalling MaxDB from Windows's Add/Remove Programs wouldn't work (I don't remember the exact error, but it was running the uninstall script with -all and reported it couldn't do this because I needed to get rid of an instance first ???). Since the database was on my removable D: drive, I finally got rid of it the old fashioned way: I reformatted the disk. I also deleted any trace of "J2E" I could find in the Windows XP registry. Nevertheless, my retry of the Sneak Preview install fails on a sapdb_db_create statement, with the root problem as reported in XCMDOUT.LOG that J2E already exists:
    > Subprocess starts at 20051107193441
    Execute Command : d:sapdbprogramspgmdbmcli.exe  -R d:sapdbj2edb db_create J2E CONTROL,CONTROL
    Execute Session Command : exit
    > Subprocess stops at 20051107193441
    ERR
    -24953,ERR_DBEXIST: database instance already exists
Since I literally wiped out the database, can anyone tell me where the installation is still detecting the existence of J2E? How can I get rid of all traces?
And since the initial problem I had was too little free disk space on my C: drive, and since I bought a second hard drive precisely to get around this problem, is it possible to direct not just MaxDB but the Was 6.40/J2EE Engine itself to my D: drive (it seemed to install on C:\usr\... without my having any choice in the matter)?

    Roland,
That worked: After dropping the instance, I was able to cleanly deinstall MaxDB and try the Sneak Preview installation from scratch. I've rewarded points accordingly.
However, I then ran into another problem perhaps you can help with. I will explain it here, but please let me know if you would like me to post it in a new thread, so you can potentially get separate points for this one :-).
So here's the new problem: The installation hung during the 22nd task, Load Java Database Content. I let it run about 12 hours, before giving up, clicking Log Off, and rebooting my laptop. In jload.java.log, there are entries for the first couple minutes after that task began, then nothing. So after rebooting my machine, I crossed my fingers and tried to recontinue the installation, but I get an error, the root cause of which seems to be that the database needs to be restarted?:

Any idea why the 'load database content' task hung? (By the way, I have 1 GB of RAM - should be enough?) And should I manually restart the database and try to continue? If so, how do I manually restart the database from the command line?
(Again, let me know if I should repost this in a new thread. Thanks in advance.)

I didn't edit web.xml file manually, please help.
    Thanks,

Is that al what you see in logs? If there is more then please go through again carefully. There are certain serlvet and filter dependencies that are required to be commented out in the web.xml to be able to run it. Also have a look at  https://blogs.oracle.com/fadevrel/entry/tip_to_quickly_test_jdeveloper

    Thanks Steven.
That makes sense. Is there anything I can do to make this demo work without de-installing 10.1.3.1 Preview? Or If I also install 10.1.3.0.4 with SU5 on another folder, does that affect my 10.1.3.1 Preview version?
I'm using 10.1.3.1 Preview version to learn Oracle's SOA suite.
    Thanks again,
    Magesh.

A point of clarification: Using JDK 1.5, it compiles and "tries" to start, but then gives this error : Unable to load ejb-class com.MyTestEJB see section 23.2 of the EJB 2.1 specificationjava.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError: java.lang.NullPointerException
There are other EJB which are deploying fine.
I really can't tell why one is deploying but this one is not.

Probably too late for an answer but I try,
We are not able to build our J2EE 1.4 application with weblo 10, we have to build them with weblo 8 which contains the xdoclet. then we deploy it in WL10. then sometimes we have to fix some build constraints that WL10 doesn't allow anymore.

  • Error While Starting the Weblogic Managed server- BEA-160001

    Hi,
While starting the managed server (10.3.4) below exception occurs. Help me on why the error occurs.

    Hi,
There are two workaround for this issue.
    1) Without disabling wls-wsat application:
    Here are the steps:
Add jar saaj-impl-1.3.jar to weblogic classpath
    Start weblogic using java options:
    -Djavax.xml.soap.MessageFactory=com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.soap.MessageFactoryImpl
    -Djavax.xml.soap.SOAPFactory=com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.soap.SOAPFactoryImpl
    -Djavax.xml.soap.MetaFactory=com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.soap.SAAJMetaFactoryImpl
    2) If wls-wsat is not required:
This is the setting to disable wls-wsat:
    -Dweblogic.wsee.wstx.wsat.deployed=false
It is mentioned here in the doc
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/web.1111/e13734/cluster.htm

    Kal
