How can I give an error message in the INCLUDE program. I want to capture an error when run in the background.

I basically want to provide an error message in the INCLUDE program just like we do in the reports. I could use popups in the foreground but am looking for a solution in the background for include. Ideally I want the job to cancel with an error message.

Error messages in included facelets file?
I have a jsp page that includes a .xhtml facelets page. The facelets page has a form, when the form is submitted I look for errors and if I find any I return the user back to the containing jsp page. At which point none of the error messages I have set display! Any ideas why that is? If I run it outside of the jsp file and return the user back to the .xhtml page it works fine. Sadly I need to have it work as a jsp include in order to interoperate with the rest of our sites technology. Any thoughts?

1. Oracle 8.1.7 is out of date! It's not maintained anymore.
2. You don't need SQL to tell how many enqueue resources have been used here. The message is clear: 8000. The current maximum. Not a single one more and no less.
3. Well how many more you'll need is hard to tell. But oviously more. Try with plus 50% -> 12000.
Since the process that died here had been a paralle query server process, it may also be the case, that you've configured too many parallel servers. As they run at the same time (parallel) they'll make use of enqueues at the very same time...
4. Of course there are notes:
398927 - ORA error as the dimensions of the parameters are too small
745639 - FAQ: Oracle enqueues
632427 - Oracle 8.1.7* database parameterization for BW

Error message when I calling planning layout in the STS
Dear
I'm trying to use Status and Tracking System with BPS ( SEM 4.0 SP10, BW 3.5 SP14 ).
But I got some error messages when I calling planning layout in the STS screen..
I designed 2 lower unit(A,B) and 1 upper unit(C) for the test. and using Bottom-up work-flow.
I did
1. Create Planning Area in the BPS0 ( also Level, Package, Layout ..)
2. Created Web Interface in the Web Interface Builder using the upper BPS Layout .
3. Customizing STS
- Create Sub Plan & Session
- Asssign Hierarchy to Sub Plan
- Determine attribute for created planning session ( Bottom-up, Auto mail )
- Define Header characteristics for planning session to contains the planning package completely.
- Determine Date, Person Responsible and Layout.
4. Send Start mail
5. Open STS Web Start Screen ( using B Unit responsible user .)
When he click "Open Planning" icon in the screen the following error messages were happened...
I've no idea for that because I didn't use any variables or offset settings.
I guess that comes from header settings for the planning session because when I deleted the header settings for the planning sessions, I could see the planning layout.
but I could not use lock processing in the STS.
Could you tell me what's happening to me?

Also check whether the variable, that you want to use is available in the planning area.Hello,
this seems to be a bug. The error message should include a variable name between ''. Since there is none, the function that raises the error was not called correctly.
It's not likely that this is related to STS since STS does not use variables at all. It's probably a problem with the layout. If you can't resolve it, please open a message to SAP Support.

Iprocurement - Add to cart Inactive item returns error message?
Hi,
We are under EBusiness 12.1.3 and using iProcurement to enter requisitions. When querying the Main store for an item, even if it's inactive, we have a result. Then when trying to add that item to the cart we get the following message from Oracle:
"Item 10002112 is not internally orderable for the default Deliver-to location. Select another item or contact purchasing administrator."
It's related to oracle message ICX_POR_NOT_ORDERABLE_ERROR.
Since the item is inactive we would like to make sure the users can't order them, so we don't want it to show as a result to the search OR change the error message to include customization to provide replacement item. Does somebody knows what would be the best solution and the easiest to do?

Apple error message reminiscent of Microsoft
Scary how Apple is copying Microsoft these days by having their apps create error messages that mean nada, zip, zilch (and worse).
I keep getting an error message that includes the following:
Status: Failed: QuickTime Error: -120

Anybody have a clue what -120 means?The codes you found are OS 9 and earlier. I'm guessing the QuickTime -120 I'm getting has to do with something else.
At this point I'm assuming, seeing as it's always the QuickTime file within the batch that is failing, that whatever part of the QuickTime engine being used to compress the file within Compressor is incapable of rendering Flash or whatever within a web page at the same time, hence the error message and failed process. -
Email attachment not included in forwarded message - no error message given
A coworker of mine was trying to forward a large 25.6MB pdf over the AT&T network. She downloaded entire message before hitting forward and selected "include attachments" when given the option. She could see the icon for the attachment at the bottom of the forwarded message, but the recipient doesn't receive the attachment and it is not reflected in the sent email. There is no warning or error message given. She could forward this from her desktop account, so it doesn't seem to be a server based limit on attachments..
This is an exchange server email account and an iphone 5.
Any ideas?I too am experiencing this behavior, however, for some reason that I do not know, the attachments appear ok one day and then they appear embedded. This is becoming detrimental to my work!
Is anyone looking into this at Apple?

attachment to my own address, using Thunderbird on a
Linux machine. After that, I forwarded the received

My computer crashed necessitating re-install of operating sys and all programs including iTunes. When I click on a song in my library I get an error message "can't find this song, want to search?" What gives? How can I listen to songs in my library on this computer now?
It is working now. I no longer get the message about the item not being available in the US and I can access the store.

There were 273 photos in the event syncing from my Mac, but only the last 103 made it to the ipad. Most of the photos were taken by an iphone. I would appreciate any thoughts or insights - thanks.Adrian-
That error message suggests the photo is somehow corrupt.
Do you have the Apple Camera Connection Kit? You can set up a USB thumb drive with MS-DOS FAT-32 format and copy your photos to it into a folder named DCIM. Assuming they have an 8 character plus suffix name, the iPad will recognize them and give you the option of transferring them via the Kit's USB adapter.
Once they are transferred, you can find out if there is a problem with any.

Hi. I recently got a new computer and transferred all my files across using TimeMachine. Whenever I try to sign into any CC program (including CC) the program instantly shuts down and an Apple error message comes up. I have uninstalled and reinstalled CC twice with no avail and deleted every Adobe product on my computer and nothing is working.

I get an error message saying iTunes doesn't include the software for iPhone. It says to uninstall and re-install iTunes. I have done it twice and both times I get the same error.

I bought the ipad air to be used for marine navigation and installed both garmin and inavx charts. Currently none of the charts including apple maps can identify my current location. Actually, there is a userexit, we created a new include in it, say XXX, now when I try to edit some code in this include. I have a trouble to compile or check the error,
e.g when I wrote this

try to compile it gives me error ( cant compile as its
only include ) and when I do activate, it gives msg,

GENERATE the main program of the incude. USe the men options UTILITITES -> MAIN PROGRAM and once you get to the main program generate the program it will check all the syntax for you and throw any error if it exists.
How to test a routine, you must check with your functional consultant. A routine can be triggered from different ways like from output, from copy control and many more different ways.

My (old) Epson RX510 multifunction printer is included in the list of printers supported by Apple, but on following the procedure advised for downloading the printer drivers for Mountain Lion and/or Lion I get the error message " the printer software is currently unavailable and to contact the printer manufacturer. However on going to the Epson web site I get the message to go to the Apple web site as all printer drivers have been covered in the Mountain Lion software updates.
Can anyone please advise what is going on when the said printer is shown as being included in Apple's list of software included in Mountain Lion and Lion software updates?

PS: Sometimes you need to click on the "Software available" link to open the list of printers. It is then a fair way down the Epson list with the RX series.
