Skype has Stopped Working for one account
Hi
I got an error of "Skype has stopped working" in all Operating Systems i.e. Windows, Mac, Android etc..
User Name: sonattacamara
I tested in windows with multiple skype accounts.. One account working properly.. But 'sonattacamara' account faced this problem..
So, please clear this problem.. Suggest me the solution.
Thank You..Most likely, your Skype is crashing due to this new "http hack".
http://community.skype.com/t5/Windows-desktop-client/Skype-crashing/m-p/3996650#M347923
One of your "friends" has sent you a chat message containing malicious "http sequence", which inadvertently crashes Skype installed on different devices. Yesterday, this issue was mainly affecting Skype localized in Russian, but by now seems to be more spread.
Be aware, that due to security reason, all the posts describing in detail this hack, are removed from the Community Forum.

Most likely this is one of the several cases when the latest Skype 7.0 version is not able correctly to interpret BIOS data. At least, this was the issue with the previously reported cases with this error message:
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x00d527d7
It seems that Skype has identified the issue and a fix is promised in one of the upcoming Skype versions.

Meanwhile, the working solution is to uninstall the 7.0 version and install the previous 6.21.0.104 Skype version:

"Skype has stopped working" Error Message Windows 8.1 Skype 7.6
Hi, I just now installed the desktop version, I was previously using the other Windows 8 version, not sure what it's called but that doesn't matter. I was trying to call my friend and it said there was a problem with my mic. Well I bought a new mic and came home and it said there was a problem with my mic. I uninstalled it and installed the desktop version, thinking it would work better, but the desktop version tells me that it cannot detect my soundcard and to reboot my laptop. Upon starting up at the welcome screen, I continued to log in, and wait for my programs to load up. I opened skype, it closes without showing up, three more times I do this before running as admin. It tries to load and then gives me the crash report "Skype has stopped working" and says windows will let me know when they find a fix.
Please, run the DirectX diagnostics tool. Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post. Be aware that you will have to zip this file before attaching it here.

7.4: "Skype has stopped working"
when I open skype and sign in it works for a few seconds and then fades out and windows gives me a message saying "skype has stopped working" and then tells me that they will notify me if a solution to the problem is found (yeah right).
I tried renaming my skype appdata and deleted my DbTemp folder but nothing works.
I also ran my DirectX diagnostics tool.

Skype 7.7 Crashes on Windows 10 | "Skype has stopped working"
Hi all!First of all, I would like to say that I recently upgraded to Microsoft Windows 10 from 8.1 as of this morning. I love it, but there is one problem; my Skype client won't start up. As soon as I boot it up, it says "Skype has stopped working. Windows will try to find a solution", or something along those lines. I have uninstalled Skype, renamed the folder, disabled my firewall, deleted files in my %temp% and Skype folder, etc. etc. to no avail. When I did a DxDiag it said no problems were found in every category. However. I did find an interesting entry in the log that might be of help, so here it is. (I couldn't paste the whole log because it made my message exceed 20,000 characters) +++ WER8 +++:
