Error on invoking a siebel wsdl using bpel

Hi,
We are getting the following error on trying to invoke a siebel application wsdl through bpel:
exception on JaxRpc invoke: HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: oracle.j2ee.ws.saaj.ContentTypeException: Not a valid SOAP Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8
Any help regarding this exception would be greatly helpful.

Please check if your input format matches the input format expected by Siebel i.e. the xml you are sending to Siebel is inline with the XSD which Siebel is using at thier end for request xml.

Error while invoking ESB process from a BPEL process

Hi all
We have a requirement to call an ESB process from a BPEL process. We are using an adapter wth the ESB's WSDL url. After deploying the BPEL process, the registered ESB is getting called for most values while suddenly some values return the followign error
*"exception on JaxRpc invoke: HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: Connection reset"*
The catch here is, if we re-run the process with the same values again, the ESB is called successfully! How is it possible for a process to error out and run normally for the same inputs ?
What could be the possible fix for this? I am thankful for any inputs on this.

Error calling a third party WSDL from BPEL

I am trying to invoke a third party WSDL. This WSDL belongs to Oracle OPPM. When I call this wsdl from SOAPUI or even from the Enterprise Manger, it works fine.
However, when I call it from BPEL, it is giving me an error. Here is the request and error response:

I checked the diagnostics logs and it is not giving me any further information.
I think the issue is with the WSDL file. I tried importing the WSDL locally too, but I cannot get rid of this error.
I also tried to import the namespace in the <WSDL:Types> area, but no luck.

I should have mentioned that I tried this too and it didn't solve the problem. You're right though, I should be compiling with -fPIC anyway.

Error while inserting record into database using BPEL

I am trying to read from an xml file using a File Adapter and insert the values read into a database (by invoking a database adapter).
I formed the BPEL Process in the following manner:
1.Receive activity to receive the values read from the file
2.Assign activiuty to assign the values read to the Database input variable
3.Invoke activity to invoke the Database adapter.
The process deploys fine although with a warning : Trying to assign incompatible types.
But when the process is executed, it is faulting at the invoke stage.

I figured where i was going wrong...added a transform activity after the assign activity to map the file input fieds to the database columns. Now it works fine.

Web services are SSL.
The WSDL is at https location and needs username/password for access. The username/password to access WSDL are set using UTL_DBWS.SET_PROPERTY
To access the SSL site, I have imported the CA in Oracle Wallet, JVM home and JDK home.
Can anyone tell me what am I doing wrong here. I am not able to even establish connection to web service host.
This is very frustrating - Oracle has no examples on how to access a SSL Web Service (that needs authentication) from Database.
This is effecting our project deadlines ......... any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I presume your Web Service needs HTTP (BASIC?) Authentication.
All this needs is setting the following 2 properties, which as can be seen, you are setting....
UTL_DBWS.set_property(l_call, 'USERNAME', '<username>');
UTL_DBWS.set_property(l_call, 'PASSWORD', '<pwd>');
This should work as long as your DBWS Callout Utility was downloaded from OTN after June 2008, and it's version is atleast 10.1.3.1.

Error in Invoking peoplesoft component interfaces from BPEL process

I developed a sample bpel process to invoke peoplesoft component interfaces.
I followed the steps mentioned in the document.

I do the same thing.
Take wsdl from axis and save it somewhere.
Then you can create a standard project in Oracle BPEL PM. Create partnerlink, give a name and click on first icon to take your wsdl. It will add some needed code, you answer always yes. Then you can create receive, assign, invoke, assign and callback or similar and deploy it.
Try it through BPEL Console...

Error in Invoking External Web Service in BPEL

Hello,
I have a Temperature Conversion Web Service deployed on an external server.
I want to invoke this Web Service in my BPEL process.
I got the wsdl loacation of the Web Service as "http://webservices.daelab.net/temperatureconversions/TemperatureConversions.wso?WSDL" and then in my workspace, I created a Web Service out of that WSDL.
My idea was to create a web service out of that WSDL and then to deploy that web service on SOA server so that i can invoke that deployed service in my BPEL process, but when i am creating a web service out of that WSDL , and trying to test the webservice in my local oc4j, i am gettting a fault exception.
Am i doing anything wrong ? Is there any other alternative to call a external web service in BPEL?

you are on the wrong track....
Open your BPEL. Put the http://webservices.daelab.net/temperatureconversions/TemperatureConversions.wso?WSDL into a PartnerLink and wire an invoke against this PartnerLink....
Put the parameters via assign into the variables.
Done...
Why do you want to create an interal webservice and invoke this one via BPEL? Do you want to invoke the external webservice from the internal one?

The Problem is resolved. The DB Adapter files has been corrupted and i reinstall the Weblogic Server and now i am able to invoke and all works fine.

Error when invoking pl/sql web service from bpel

I have a simple 'Hello World' pl/sql web service. When i invoke it in asynchronous BPEL process, a local WSDL file is automatically generated for the parterlink used. The process even gets successfully deployed without any warning or error. But in the BPEL console when I create an instance, its alwaya being faulted and the audit give the following error at invoke:

Error calling siebel service from bpel

Hi,
I am testing a siebel webservice using BPEL. Serivce is Simple Product, all I want to do is query and insert using this webservice. It gives me the following error while inserting
Method 'WriteRecord' of business component 'Internal Product' (integration component 'Internal Product') for record with search specification '[Id] = "1-3AR1"' returned the following error:"An error has occurred writing to a record.
and this when I try to query
Method 'FieldValue' of business component 'Internal Product' (integration component 'Internal Product') returned the following error:
"Field 'XA Class Integration Id' does not exist in definition for business component 'Internal Product'.

Go into tools, search for BC (Business Component) "Internal product" and on that BC search for the field "XA Class Integration Id". It's there, but it is inactive.
If it is not inactive, then you sould find it on Table S_XA_CLASS in the column INTEGRATION_ID.

Error while invoking a Web service deployed on OC4J from Oracle BPEL

I had created a web service from a simple java class using JDeveloper and deployed that on OC4J which had emmited a wsdl for the web service. On the same AS my BPEL processing is deployed in which i had created a partner link by using 1st option (i.e Browse WSDL files from local file system) and invoking the published method of the java class.I am expecting that the method of the class which is deployed as web service will be executed and i will get the return of the method as the response of the invoke activity , but i am getting this error :
