ERROR ON PRICING DATE

in the sales order pricing date is been taken as the old date.
for example sales order creation date is 28/08/08, and the delivery date is 29/08/08, pricing date has to take same as the delivery date according to the sales document controls, but it is giving the price date as the 25/08/08.

Hi
set the proposed pricing date A in sales document type controls. system should give the pricing date based on delivery date.
There might be some chances, if you are creating sales order with reference to contract, system copies pricing date from contract ( proposed pricing date C)
When you create sales order with reference to quotation, system copies the pricing date from quotation.

Chandra

  • Service Desk: Pricing data for partner could not be read

    Hi all,
I am trying to configure the Service Desk functionality for Service Providers (on EHP1).
I follow the SAP Documentation (SAP Solution Manager: Service Desk for Service Providers) and SLA's made easy in SAP Solution Manager. Also some discussion threads helped me with some steps (I applied e.g. the recommendation from Pricing data for partner 106 could not be read. , but it didn't help).
I am facing some errors related to the CRM part of the configuration.
When I create Service Desk Contract (SLFV) in CRMD_ORDER, the error appears Pricing data for partner xxx could not be read. I checked the setting of BP and I am not able to find the reason, for customer's (sold-to-party) BP the sold-to-party > Sales Area Data the Sales Organization/Distribution Channel/Division are maintained. Which information for pricing is needed and where can it be configured?
Another error - I am sure it is related to the first one - the service contract cannot be determined in the service message (in Item details view under product). The error messages are about sales area/organization, so I suppose there is something wrong with the link Service Contract -> Business Partner definition.
Could you please help me what can cause the error?
    Thanks in advance,
    Vaclav

    Hi Balaji.S,
my problem was solved when I double checked the settings of org structure. That means there must be a consistent setting for sales organization / distribution channel / division in businness partner (tcode BP), organizational model (PPOMA_CRM), product workbench (COMMPR01). The setting must be same for both the sales department of the service provider and the customer's company (I am sorry I am not CRM, so I am following just this simple logic)
In the long text of the error (in CRMD_ORDER) I could see "expected" combination for sales organization / distribution channel / division (message e.g. The access was carried out with sales organization 'O 50000613', distribution channel '01' and division '') -> when the org model was set up everywhere in this way, the contract was automatically filled by the organization data and in the next step the contract could be determined in the service desk message.
Anyway it took some time to find out the correct combination. Deeper CRM knowledge would help me much.

  • Pricing data for partner 300027 could not be found

    Hi guys,
We have ECC6 and CRM5,both are IDES.I have fulfilled some exercises on training document, for example,I can create sales order in CRM,then this sales order can be transported into ECC.
now I want to extend the sales area,so I made these operations:
    1. create sales area Z009/71/71 in ECC
    2. copy this sales area to CRM
    3. extend the sales view(Z009/71/71 ) of BP 300027 in ECC
    4. check this sales view for BP 300027 exists in CRM
than I create sales order in CRM,I use sales organizaion Z009/71/71,BP 300027,but when I press ENTER,the error occurs.
Could anybody help me and give me some advices, many thanks!

    Hi Curry
Shalini has correctly pointed out the essentials required for price determination am using the same below:
    Sales Org...........................Z009
    Distribution Channel............71
    Division..............................71
Customer Pricing Procedure ( can be seen in the transaction type Customizing)
Document Pricing procedure.( Can be ssen in the business partner-sales area data)
You need to check all these perameters, if the correct values are maintained for them. However if you are using your CRM installation for the first time then there is one important thing which you need to check. In the above mentioned essentials the Division plays a major role as dispite of the fact that the sales area is available in CRM system it is important to check if the Division is activated for the Sales Order Header or not. If the division is not activated then even if you maintain all the values system will throw the error that pricing data could not be read for the respective BP.
Following is the process to check the same and maintain the necessary values:
    1. follow the path IMG -> CRM -> Master Data -> Organization Management -> Division Settings -> Define Use of Division and Dummy Division.
    2. Put a tick mark in the check box Header Div. Act. and save your settings. Now check the transaction again.
    Hope this help.
    Cheers
    Avi

  • HELP!! - Pricing Date Control error

    Hello experts,
I have a problem with pricing date control.
I would like to set Pricnig date control=5(GR Date)in Vendor master.
However, if I do so, I get an error in MIGO-GO said"Transaction cannot be posted due to errors in price determination:MSG no. ME573"
I don't have a problem if I set Pricing Date Control anything other than "5".
Where should I customize(IMG) to fix this problem?
This is very important, so I would like to rewards points to those who give me valuable answers.

    Hi,
Please check info record Pricing date control and Purchase order Price date control in Item details>more functions
Following will help you tounderstand more on this
In the automatic price determination process, the price can be calculated as at the document date of the PO, or as at another date (such as the current day’s date, the delivery date, or the goods receipt date). You can specify the date to which the price that is determined relates at the following points:
In the vendor master record, in the Pricing date control field, if you wish to use the same price determination date for all a vendor’s materials.
In the purchasing info record, in the Pricing date category field, if you wish to use a different pricing date for a certain material supplied by a particular vendor.
The value in the purchasing info record takes precedence over the value in the vendor master record.
In the purchase order, in the Pricing date category field (found via Item > More functions> Additional data).
The value from the info or vendor master record is preset when a purchase order is created. However, this is only used if you change it in the purchase order and carry out a new price determination process.
The pricing date category in the PO takes precedence.
    Example:
In the info record, you have specified that the price determination process is to be carried out with the conditions that are valid on the delivery date (pricing date category 2). Furthermore, you have created two validity periods (from 04. 01.1997 until 04. 31.1997 and from 05. 01.1997 until 12. 31.1997), each with different conditions.
You create a purchase order with the delivery date 05.05.1997. The pricing date category from the info record is adopted. In the course of the price determination process, the info record conditions from the validity period 05. 01.1997 until 12. 31.1997 are then adopted.
If you wish to adopt the info record conditions from the first validity period in the purchase order, you must change the pricing date category in the PO to blank and carry out a new price determination process.
Hope this will help to resolve your issue

  • Error in pricing when doing sourcing in EBP 4.0

    Hello,
We're experiencing random errors when doing sourcing in EBP 4.0. The shopping carts don't seem to have any similarities that could launch the error. There has been few cases when the same error has occured when user is creating a shopping cart.
The problem occures when doing sourcing and the shopping cart is either being held or a PO is created. The error creates dump in ST22, "UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION". This is somehow related to pricing and we have checked note 673372 and ran report BBP_CND_CUSTOMIZING_CHECK, all OK. IPC is running the same SP level as SRM, SP level 10.
We have already created an OSS about this, but as this is completely random we haven't been able to reproduce the error and no solution has been found.

Please refer to following SAP Notes:
Note 860935 - pricing customizing exits are missing
    Note 673372 - Short dumps UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION in SRM 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0
Also try to implement the latest IPC patches following the instructions from note 880749, then restart the VMC. It worked for us, after trying many things with no luck.
Alternatively, try this as well. There must be some problem with VMC. Most probably java connection problem. Please execute program RSVMCRT_HEALTH_CHECK in SE38 transaction. You should see green for all 4 messages in the result. Please contact your basis consultant and refer notes 854170 (and 844817)

  • Error in Pricing Procedure Determination in Sales Order

    Hi All,
I have created a Pricing Procedure and asiigned it with the SALES ORG, DIV, DISTR CHANL, CUSTOMER PRCDR and DOCUMENT PRCDR in SPRO.
i have assigned the Cust Doc Prcd with the BP and the Docuemnt Prcdr with the respective transaction. And also created the Basic Price for product and Discount Price for Sold To Party via CONDITION MAINTENANCE.
    Still getting this error.
    Looking for the solution.
    Thanks,
    VS

If you have check what RK suggested and is ok, then check also the customization of your transaction in spro>crm>transactions>basic settings>define transaction types.
go to your transaction type and then in left panel select customazing header. there check if you have defined under pricing data the doc.pric.proc. (document pricing procedure)
and also if you are not always using customer pricing procedure it is good to define in spro for determination of pricing procedure 1 determination rule which has filled only the folowing data:
    - sales organization
    - distribution channel
    - document pricing procedure (the one you defined on transaction - which I described above)
    - procedure
and division (if you use the dummy one) and customer pricing procedure leave empty. this way the procedure will be determined even if it's not found from customer sales data
And also be aware that once the error message for determination of pricing procedure appears it can't be removed so don't try the determination with already corrupted transaction.

  • Problem in getting the pricing data

    Hi all,
I'm trying to create a service contract. When i do this, an error pops up saying 'Pricing data for Business Partner could not be found'.
I've configured the pricing procedure for BP and created condition records as well. I even replicated the condition objects from R/3. Still I'm getting the same error.
Can anyone help me out in this regard
    Thanks...
    Regards

Hi, this problem can be located in various area's so I would need some more info from your side to determine the cause of it. I assume you have an IPC in you landscape? If so, did you test IPC's pricing functionlity from within the IPC? Did you replicate all your condition related information from SAP R/3? Have you successfully been able to find your BP pricing record in your condition table? Thanks, Tiest.

  • Pricing dates for Partner

I have the following error:  ' Pricing dates for Partner 110 could not be read', as I can associate a scheme to him of prices?
    Thanks

    Hi Sudhir,
Check your master data set up for the customer- check Billing tab in Sales area data in BP. You need to maintain a Customer pricing procedure.
Pricing procedure is determined as standard whenever you create a transaction based on the combination of Sales area+Customer pricing procedure +document pricing procedure.

  • Revenue recognition and error message" Missing data: Provision account Message no. VU019

    Hi,
I have configured revenue recognition type "B" for my item categories and I am using BOMs where pricing is set at item level. The issue is that when I have more than one components in my BOM then I get an error message (Missing data: Provision account Message no. VU019) at the time of saving sales order though I have configured the provision account. However If I enter the same component/material in the sales order without BOM which will have same pricing data then it does not through the above error message. Please help what could be the potential issue.
    Best Regards
    Javed

Have you checked the Analysis from condition tab once you created a BOM?  If so, what is the message you could see for pricing.

  • Pricing date check

As-Is Scenario: Presently there is no check while entering the pricing date while creating the manual order in SAP. By typoerror, user enters date as say 0707/08/15. Actually user wanted to type 2007/08/15. Such mistakes are accepted in Sap in the pricing date field.
To-Be Scenario: when the pricing date field is entered, there can be check to validate "abnormal" dates. Ideally, year field can be checked as +- 1 or 2 of system year, if not within this range should be treated as abnormal.
Please Reply keeping following details in mind:--
1)Do i need to have new programme/routines which will validate and check this error.
    2) Is this change is feasible in terms of profitability analysis.

    Hi
Why you want the user to fill the pricing date? As the pricing date comes automatically while creating the Order, which you can change and to avoid the typographical error, it is better to train the user to use the F4 Help.
Still if you want to check the date then use MV45AFZZ (USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE).
    Hope it will help you.

  • Problem with updating pricing date using BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE

    Hi,
I need to update pricing date on sales order (but only on item level).
I have been trying to use  BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE but nothing changes.Bapi returns no errors, ends with success.
I hoped that bapi would change not only pricing date but also recalculate things the date affected.
    Here is my code:
    ls_head_inx-updateflag = 'U'.
    ls_bapisdls-pricing = 'C'.
    ls_item-itm_number = sales_order_posnr
    ls_item-price_date = new_price_date
    APPEND ls_item TO lt_item.
    ls_item_inx-itm_number = sales_order_posnr
    ls_item_inx-updateflag = 'U'.
    ls_item_inx-price_date = 'X'.
    APPEND ls_item_inx TO lt_item_inx.
    CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE'
              EXPORTING
                salesdocument     = sales_order
                order_header_inx = ls_head_inx
                logic_switch         = ls_bapisdls
              TABLES
                return                 = lt_return
                order_item_in     = lt_item
                order_item_inx   = lt_item_inx
    Thanks & Regards,
    Mario

    Mario,
I run same code as yours and work for me fine, able to update ITEM pricing date.
I suppose you are using BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT after your BAPI call, then only it will work.
Also note that VBKD table stores this date for header and item. In my system, there are generally only header rows in that table, but a new item row gets generated when I change the item date with the BAPI to some other date. Also, this BAPI sometimes issues a W message instead of ERROR for something like non-existing items, so carefully check your RETURN table too.
'Item 000002 does not exist' as WARNING message, so might be considering it as a success.
If nothing works, try to do the same thing for the same data using VA02 and check . If that works, BAPI will work surely.
