Error on startup "dynamiclink manager has stopped working" CS6

So I bought the CS6 master collection, but keep on getting an error on startup of my programs. When I open After effects, Photoshop, Premier Pro, Audition, etc... I get the error "Dynamiclinkmanager has stopped working". The message appears on start up of the program, and the only way to get in is to keep on pressing "close the program" for few min until it loads. It is very annoying and takes forever to open a program. I've already tried uninstalling and re-installing, and that hasn't worked. Here are a few screenshots of the error:
And here is what it says when you select "view problem details" :

I have no idea how to fix this and it's driving me CRAZY.
Thanks,

Had the same problem with conflict between CS6 (Photoshop, Premier, After Effects, etc.] and Net Nanny.  Solution was as follows:
1. Log onto Net Nanny Admin Tools
2. Click on Application Exceptions
3. Click Add
4. Browse to folder containing "dynamiclinkmanager.exe".  On my computer (Windows 7 Pro) it was located in
     C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\dynamiclink\CS6
[I do have dynamiclinkmanager.exe elsewhere, but Net Nanny only allows you to identify a given file name once]
5.  Select dynamiclinkmanger.exe, Open, OK
6.  Repeat steps 3 to 5 but this time for "dynamiclinkmediaserver.exe" which I found in
     C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\dynamiclinkmediaserver\1.0
7. Click OK to accept application exceptions
8.  Exit Net Nanny Admin Tools
7.  On my computer Photoshop would now load without incident, but if necessary reboot.
NOTE:  Once I solved the dynamiclinkmanager stopped problem I then encountered an Adobe Media Core stopped problem when I started After Effects and Premier.  To resolve this second problem with Net Nanny I repeated the above steps adding the following application exception:
     "Adobe QT32 Server.exe"
     which I found in
     C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\dynamiclinkmediaserver\1.0
[Again there are multiple copies of "Adobe QT32 Server.exe" but Net Nanny accepts only one, and I selected the one in "Program Files (x86)" and not the ones in "Program Files" because of this is where I also found dynamiclinkmanager.exe.  All works fine now.]
Hope this works for you.

  • Error message "Blackberry Desktop Manager has stopped working"

I have a Blackberry 8310, and since dowloading the latest version of Desktop Manager software (Version 4.3) I have run into repeated problems with synchonization with my Outlook (using Vista).
When I try to sync the device with my laptop, I get the error message in the subject line above, and Windows closes the Desktop Manager program.  This occurs when the Calendar function is trying to sync.
Anybody know how to fix this?

    Try the following:
Make sure your BB is not connected to the computer.
    Close the desktop manager.
    Go to C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application data
    Delete the entire Intellisync folder.
Connect your BB and open the desktop manager.
    Sync your device.

  • Installation Error: "Adobe Application Manager has stopped working"

Alright, so I did about 4/5 hours of googling and searching and trial&error, and FINALLY got passed the issue of a "pending machine restart" at the beginning of the Adobe Installer's work. (All explained http://forums.adobe.com/thread/872455?tstart=0.)
The issue with the Application Manager is what is stopping me now.
Once it gets to about 3/4 through the installation, a 'Microsoft Windows' window pops up stating "Adobe Application Manager has stopped working". It searches for a solution, finds not, and gives me no choice but to "Close Program".
Don't know how to fix this... please help. I've been searching for nearly 3 hours now trying anything I can find or think of doing. If you have had a similar situation or even a suggestion, please let me in on it! Thank you all very much!

I'm not even sure what it was downloaded to. Should I delete the application
manager and the download it again with ie to see if it works then? And if
not, try it again only with Firefox?
Edit: I tried this and had no luck. Need some serious help...

  • W520 "Power Manager has stopped working" then "finterprint software error"

For the last 6 months, I have not done any lenovo updates, and stuck with old working versions of bios, powermanager, nvidia drivers etc (having lived though the nightmanre of the fist 6 months with CPUs stuck at min on mains and max on batteries etc)
Then I re-installed from scratch and updated all lenovo drivers to the latest, which includes power manager 6.32
Now I get random "Power manager has stopped working" errors pop up for no apparent reason.
They are always accompanied by a finger print reader error:

    hi eos,
Thanks for posting. Based from your post you'll probably need to reinstall the power manager and Fingerprint reader. I was checking the support site and it appread that there is also a patch for the powever manager that needs to be loaded.
At this point what I suggest is for you to uninstall the current Power manager you have install fro the link below.

Please ensure to install all 3 links and check for the changes. In regards to the FingerPrint reader, I'm assuming that you have BIOEXCESS installed aswell. For the time being it is advisable to uninstall that too and check for changes. Once installed the power management. only the install a fresh copy of the BIOEXCESS and check for the changes then.
Do let me know of the update.

  • Recovery Manager has stopped working

    Hi,
when trying to run the HP Recovery Manager on a HP Pavilion DV6-3180ea notebook, the error "Recover Manager has stopped working" occurs.
Any ideas? Should I try reinstalling Recovery Manager?

Restart the PC and start continuously tapping F11 when you see the HP logo, this will start Recovery manager from the bios, see if it works using this method.

  • CS6 Service Manager has stopped working?

Installed trial version and it seems to download but then when I try to use the program a pop up box that says Adobe CS6 Service Manager has stopped working keeps popping up.  How to fix?

Which Adobe software in specific is giving you this error message?  Which operating system are you using?  Did you receive any error messages during the installation process?

  • Error Message: Unfortunately Xperia Home has stopped working

I have had my Z3 for nearly 3 weeks now and until this morning all was working well - loved the phone!
2 things happened this morning (may be connected).
On first trying to use the phone (from it being asleep overnight) the screen froze and it would do nothing.  I left it a few minutes (so it went back to sleep again) and all appeared then to be fine.  I did a restart.
A little later (no more than 90mins) I found the phone to be showing an error message - Unfortunately Xperia Home has stopped working - (OK).   On clicking OK, message appeared again, and again and again. I tried rebooting the phone and hoped this would clear the error. It didn't.  I was, however, by a very round about route able to get on-line.
    Swipe down to quick settings
    Settings
    Change home screen to simple
Error message still came up but would go once I clicked OK. I managed to get online and did a search for the error - found this thread:
    http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-J/Unfortunately-Xperia-Home-has-stopped-Working/td-p/720607
I had a system update that had downloaded and was ready to install, so before trying to clear all the data on xperia home (as suggested in the thread - Apps - All - Xperia Home - clear data) I ran the update.  This didn't clear the error - Xperia home has stopped working.
So, I followed the instructions on the thread above ie, all apps, xperia home, clear data. (It doesn't actually clear all the data, your accounts, passwords etc are all left intact. However, it does clear your home screens of all settings and personalisation (although it didn't change my background).
Touch wood, the phone now seems to be OK (having reset my home screens.
Having been an xperia user for a number of years (I loved my Z and had no problems with it and actually delayed upgrading) I am extremely disappointed that this flagship phone should start giving error messages such as this, particularly after only 3 weeks of use.  I only hope that this is the last time I see this message!
At least am tech savvy enough to have been able to circumvent the error, get online, find a solution quickly and sort the problem out - all done in the space of 40mins on the way to work!!
Has anyone else had this problem?
Does Sony have any answers as to why this has occurred?
    Hope this all makes sense!!

  • Desktop Manager Has Stopped Working @ Processing Device Calendar During Sync Process

I have a BB 8330 and have an annoying issue....it sync'd with MS Outlook for about 2 months after i got it then I started getting an error inthe sync process "Blackberry Desktop Manager Has Stopped Working, Windows is shutting it Down"....this always happens at the exact same point inthe sync process..."Processing Device Calendar".
I've done everything, Verizon tech support...BB tech support...uninstall/reinstall...nothing has fixed it. I even deleted everything out of outlook and started over. The odd thing is that everything EXCEPT the calendar will sync....it's just when it gets to the "processing device calendar" is stops syncing and I get the 'DM Has stopped working' error and it closes.
I am going to scream if I can't get this fixed...it's been going on since last October!!
    Any fixes out there?

Hmm. That may be something in your calendar database is corrupt. Was your device ever synched before? There is a way of clearing the calendar database. So if you have your device synching with Outlook, after it's cleared from the BlackBerry, you could try synching again.
To clear the calendar database you can go into Desktop Manager | Backup and Restore | Advanced. On the right hand side select the calendar database and hit the Clear button. Afterwards try synching again

  • Microsoft bootstrap manager has stopped working in my Lenovo G560!!!

I recently downgraded my Lenovo G560 to Windows 7 Ultimate from Windows 8 Pro (Werfault.exe error continued to reoccur even after clean installs). However, after reinstalling my drivers and programs, I cannot install any Office programs. I have tried installing Office 2013 and it encounters an error; Microsoft bootstrap manager has stopped working to be particular. I re-tried with Office 2010 and the installation fails to complete citing an error. These two office packages have previously worked in my G560. Used Office 2010 for a while before installing Office 2013 which I have used for two months. Does the recent install of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit have anything to do with it? How can I fix it? Any help will be appreciated.

I'll try that in a few days. I'm currently on the road. Didn't carry my external HDDs with me. Will try it then let you know.

  • Catalyst install manager has stopped working

Hi,after getting Blue Screen my VGA driver for AMD has deleted by itself. And now i can't install it back because of error that comes out when i try to install it.Doesn't matter which driver, from HP web-page or officiall AMD page.I tried to uninstall the rest of AMD and install it again but it just errors errors and errors.I m including some screenshots that can be useful. The first one is the error,in english it s "Catalyst install manager has stopped working".The second one is Device menager,it says that Intel driver is installed but AMD isnt, and system works with Microsoft standart driver. The third one is the bluescreen detail information.Windows reinstallation didn't help :/ Could it be hardware issue? Thanks in advance.

Hey  , Here is a document that shows you how to launch the Recover manager that might help. Turn on the power and press F11 to run recovery without starting Windows. It gives you the option to reinstall software or to recover the Notebook to factory settings. I think it is software related not hardware. Please note remove any and all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices HDMI Cables, as these could cause some issues. Please let me know how this goes. Thanks.

My pc is working with windos 8.
    Is there a solution?

    Hey there Rodney274,
It sounds like you are getting an error from iTunes when you launch it. I would try the troubleshooting in this article named:
iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8: Fix unexpected quits or launch issues
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1717
Start with troubleshooting for 3rd party plug ins section, then the rest of the article if needed:
    Start iTunes in Safe Mode
Open iTunes in Safe Mode to isolate any interference from plug-ins or scripts not manufactured by Apple.
Hold down Shift–Control while opening iTunes. You should see a dialog that says "iTunes is running in safe mode" before iTunes finishes starting up.
    Click Continue.
See if the issue you're experiencing persists in Safe Mode.
If you have the same issue while iTunes is in Safe Mode, proceed to the "Create a new user account" section. If you don't experience the same issue, follow these steps to remove third-party plug-ins.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Take care,
    Sterling

  • Adobe CEP Service Manager has stopped working

I had repeated problems installing Creative Cloud for the desktop, after it asked me to upgrade.
After renaming OOBE and using the cleaning tool several times, i got Creative Cloud to finally install.
But when I tried to run it, I get "Adobe CEP Service Manager has stopped working".
So I'm still dead in the water. This is just the latest of a string of problems I've had in installing
Creative Cloud for the desktop on my several PCs.
    Any suggestions?

    Hi Ken,
Does right click run and Administrator when launching the Creative Cloud for desktop make any difference?

I don't understand why running the exe from the installation folder would have worked.
I would have simply tried to run that exe from its real location :
