Error or tickets

please correct me if i were wrong. after implementation if there is problem or error in handling transations in MM, does a end user raise a ticket or does a support team analyse the problem and raise ticket. does end user inform the trouble through outlook.

It depends on the client infrastructure, most of the Big Clients will have a issue tracking system, thru which user can directly raise a ticket or helpdesk can raise a ticket and assign to support team for resolution.

    The PSReportFactory service, CR Page Server, is only for viewing Crystal Report formats, and not instances in other formats.
    For the other formats, ensure you list the SI_FILES property in the InfoStore query, then cast the resulting InfoObject to IContent.  The IContent interface support methods to stream the file content from the File Repository Server.

  • Ticket isnt for us - Apache DS on Windows Server 2008 with Kerberos

    Hello there,
    I installed Apache DS 1.5.7 on Windows Server 2008 R2 with Kerberos enabled.
    I followed the instructions here http://directory.apache.org/apacheds/1.5/543-kerberos-in-apacheds-155.html.
    I added the my users like the example ldif file of the official instructions. Users got their krb keys.
    But when i try to authenticate with Apache Directory Studio using Kerberos authentication as told in the instructions.
    I get ERROR 35 "Ticket isn't for us".
    I tried googling this issuebut i couldnt solve it on my own.
    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  • Cannot catch error from SessionManagerAdobeHostedServices

    I just got the following error in the client:
    Error: error getting ticket: [Event type="error" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2]
         at com.adobe.rtc.session.managers::SessionManagerAdobeHostedServices/onTicketError()
         at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEventFunction()
         at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEvent()
         at com.adobe.rtc.session.sessionClasses::SingleUseTicketService/sendRequest()
         at com.adobe.rtc.session.managers::SessionManagerAdobeHostedServices/onMeetingInfo()
         at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEventFunction()
         at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEvent()
         at com.adobe.rtc.session.sessionClasses::MeetingInfoService/onInfoReceive()
         at com.adobe.rtc.session.sessionClasses::MeetingInfoService/onComplete()
         at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEventFunction()
         at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEvent()
         at flash.net::URLLoader/onComplete()
    It seems to come from (SessionManagerAdobeHostedServices)
              protected function onTicketError(p_evt:Event):void
                   throw new Error("error getting ticket: " + p_evt);
    Is there a way to catch errors in event listeneres? Otherwise it's not possible to handle this error gracefully. The global error handler could resolve it somewhen in the future but we cannot jump to 10.1 yet.
    The root cause was on our server that most likely emitted an invalid authentication token, so that's not an issue anymore.

    Hi Mark,
    If you are linking to the source files and not using swc, you can do these changes for yourself in source code of LCCS.
    To catch this error as an event rather than throwing as we do by default, you can do something like
    var p_error:Object = new Object();
    p_error.name = "Give it a name" ;
    p_error.message = "Send the message" ;
    super.receiveError(p_errorObject);
    inside your onTicketError function.
    Just look at the code inside onSessionError function in SessionManagerAdobeHostedServices. It works similarly. This error object that you created gets converted into an event called SessionEvent.ERROR ( look at the code inside SessionManagerBase's onSessionError). SessionManagerBase is the base class for SessionManagerAdobeHostedServices.
    Finally, since this event is thrown by SessionManagerBase, the connectSession catches it automatically. So, all you need to do is add a event listener to connectionSession to catch this error(look at onSessionError function inside ConnectSession.as ). And you should be able to handle this.
    I haven't tried it but rather throwing you an idea. So, give it a shot.
    Hope this helps
    Thanks

    I can see in the log that stack xml you are using is not for the system to whom  you are upgrading. That is the reason system is rejecting stack file. Please check above extract of logs.
    I would suggest you to please generate stack xml file for this system from MOPZ after correctly configuring SMSY and use it. Then your problem will be resolved.
    Thanks

  • SSO EP/Lotus doesn't work

    Hello,
    we are using an EP v7 SP12 and Lotus Domino v6.5.4.
    We had a fine SSO configuration between our portal ("portal.saras.it") and our Lotus system ("mail.saras.it").
    But when we changed the portal domain in "portal.sarasgroup.dom" the SSO with Lotus didn't work fine.
    We thought that the problem could be the different domain suffix, so we tried to do an SSO configuration with another server Lotus (a test server) "mailTest.cagliari.saras.sarasgroup.dom" (the "names.nsf" database is linked from domain "saras.it").
    - We extracted and imported the dll (ds_ticket.dll, sapsecu.dll, wpsso_v3.dll) and the "verify.pse" file.
    - we configured "DSAPI Filter" adding the path of "ds_ticket.dll"
    - We added the value "MySapPsePath = F:\Domino\SAP\verify.pse" in the "notes.ini" file
    - Writing in the server domino console "show configuration MySapPsePath" the path is verifyed succesfully.
    - The portal Test User (T000001) is mapped as alias in a Lotus user profile
    - We set the Domino installation path as environment variable in Lotus Server OS (windows 2003)
    Trying to acces from the portal, the SSO doesn't work, a login page appears.
    And in the Lotus Server Console is showed the message:
    "Current AuthData: User =  ,InCache = 0, PreAuth = 0, Flags = 3F
    SSO Ticket found, 484 bytes
    Found sap_user = T000001
    sap_user: T000001 Ticket is invalid or expired
    SAP Ticketverifier Error: invalid ticket.
    SAP Ticketverifier Message: falling back to Lotus Domino Authentication"
    So the portal user ID is recognised by Lous System, but the ticket is invalid...
    Are we missing some configurations???
    Why the Lotus system recognises T000001 but doesn't accept the ticket?
    Please help us!!

    Thanks for your fast answers!!
    In answer to Harish:
    I replaced the portal certificate as described in the link you gave me but nothing is changed...
    Inanswer to Sandeep:
    I'm sorry but the SAP note mentionated refers to a problem different then mine.
    If you take a look it refers to an error message like "_More than one match for_
    <portal username>  in domino directory", instead my problem is "_invalid ticket_"
    Any other suggestions??
    Thanks

  • Variable to create new dimension value in Webi

    hi There
    in a webi report, i have couple of variables, what i need to do is to create a new dimension by these variables, so i can use it in a chart
    for example:
    i have current month, previous month, previous of previous month, all of them are variables, i need to create a new dimension, so i can use it in a crosstab to create a chart
    thanks
    Cleo

    because the client needs 6 months trend report, and in webi level, it is hard to use the report date prompted by the user to calculate the 5 previous months, so in universe level, i create 5 objects to get 5 previous month of report month prompted by the user, for example, if the user input the report month ="3/24/2014", the previous month will be 2/1/2014, and previous previous will be 1/1/2014, then 12/1/2013, 11/1/2013, 10/1/2013
    under each month, i will create 6 variables for another metric, say % medium error=total tickets opened where priority = medium, the reason, i create these fields manually, because not all of the month will have tickets opened by all support group, i know i can create a 6 months object in universe level, but if i add drill down filters, if the support has no ticket, the 6 months trend will be changed to 2 or 3 months, the user wants report layout has no change no matter if it will have data or not, that is why i create different variables for the month, and different variables for other metrcis. i already finished this table part, but the issue is i cannot use this table data to create a chart, so i need to creat new variables to include all these 6 months variables and metrcis "% medium error" variables
    thanks,

  • JDK 1.2.2 migration to SDK 1.4.0_01

    I wrote several applets that compile and run great when I compiled them with jdk 1.2.2, but since i downloaded and installed the new sdk 1.4.0_01 package none of my applets will run. What do I need to check to get back on track with sdk1.4.0?
    Two examples of new errors:
    import Ticket; worked in jdk 1.2.2, but now won't compile even with my Ticket class in the same directory, why does it work in 1.2.2 and not in 1.4.0?
    This is the error from the new java console on class' compiled before download, when run in the new environment:
    load: MyClass.class is not public or has no public constructor.
    java.lang.IllegalAccessException: Class sun.applet.AppletPanel can not access a member of class MyClass with modifiers "public"
         at sun.reflect.Reflection.ensureMemberAccess(Reflection.java:57)
         at java.lang.Class.newInstance0(Class.java:290)
         at java.lang.Class.newInstance(Class.java:249)
         at sun.applet.AppletPanel.createApplet(AppletPanel.java:548)
         at sun.plugin.AppletViewer.createApplet(AppletViewer.java:1621)
         at sun.applet.AppletPanel.runLoader(AppletPanel.java:477)
         at sun.applet.AppletPanel.run(AppletPanel.java:290)
         at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:536)
    What changed and what should I look to fix?

    What I've found so far is that in SDK 1.4.0 :
    You can no longer import a class that is not in a named package. The >class that uses Ticket can also be in the default package or Ticket >can be in the same package as the other class, in which case you do >not need an import statement. Or you can put Ticket into a named >package and import it.And for some reason still unknown, yet working... making the applets public does resolve the other issue once the above fix is corrected.

  • Event ID 218 Copy of database 'Mailbox Database'- experienced a performance problem

    Hi,
    We have 16 GB of RAM for EXchange 2010 and 4 Processor and using iSCSI Starwind LUN.
    Event ID : 218
    Event Source : ExchangeStoreDB
    Event Category :Database Recovery
    the copy of database 'Mailbox Database - NYM' on this server experienced a performance problem. Failover returned the following
    error: here is only one copy of this mailbox database (Mailbox Database - NYM). Automatic recovery is not available.
    It occurs specially when the exchange backup start ; we are using window backup for taking exchange backup
    I can see warnning of ESE below the event 218 - Information Store (3912) Mailbox Database - NYM: A request to write to the file "D:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\Mailbox\Mailbox Database 0959355037\Mailbox Database 0959355037.edb" at

    Also,
    1. How can I enable verbose logging to expert level for exchange MailboxDatabase.
    2. What type performace counter need to be set for exchange database in Performance Monitor
    Any Help ?
    Thanks
    Prakash

    We had the same issue on our mbx server with Exchange 2010 Ent SP3, Win Svr 2008 R2 SP1 running on VMware v5.1 with Exchange dbs mounted to the VM via iSCSI LUNs on our NetApp SAN.
    We escalated the ticket, and the Microsoft Exchange escalation team stated that the EIDs of the database corruption and automatic recovery seem to point to a hardware issue.  And, they told us not to panic and that there was no need to rebuild the environment
    and migrate the databases immediately.  They instead asked us to focus all our efforts on solving the iSCSI environment issues, since each Exchange EID db corruption/ autorecovery would be preceded by some type of corresponding iSCI System EID.
    We hence opened tickets with MS Storage Team and with NetApp support and worked on this ticket with input from all 3 groups.
    After about a month an a half of troubleshooting & trial error- with tickets open with NetApp, MS Storage Team, and MS Exchange team, we finally seem to have applied a configuration change that worked.
    NetApp support referred us to the following article relating to VMware:
    http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=2039495
    So, per NetApp support and MS Storage team, do the following:
    1.    Manually dismount Exchange Databases on the mailbox server.
    2.    Open Device Manager, Network Adapters, VMXNET3 Ethernet Adapter #3, Properties
    3.    Change Small RX Buffers from the default 512 to the maximum 8192 using the drop down selector.
    4.    Change the RX Ring #1 from the default 1024 to the maximum of 4096 using the drop down selector.
    5.    Click OK and save the change.
    6.    Re-mount the Exchange Databases
    And, to our surprise, this seems to have done the trick.  It seems like the issue is an iSCSI-related NIC setting all along.
    Thanks,
    Detrich

  • Starting the nzrView in listen mode from the command line...

    I want to be able to start the nzrViewer in listen mode when I log into windows and then be able to accept an invite for a collaboration session. When I added a shortcut to the "nzrViewer.exe /listen 5550" to my Startup Folder, it launches the Remote Listener just fine, but when I someone invites me to collaborate a Remote Session, I get an error message "Ticket not provided for Rights Authentication."
    I believe that the problem is when I launch the Viewer from the command line, I'm not authenticated to the Zen server, so it can't verify my Rights.
    Does anyone have a better way to do this? Or do I have to log into ZCC and launch the "Remote Management Listener" from there?

    There has been some updates in the documentation for 10.2.2 about remote control from cmd line.
    Check it out, maybe there is a solution to your problem.

    Hi
    Could be /EPS/in is not mounted
    or
    If the EPS/in directory is not recoginising, do the following changes manually
    cd /usr/sap/<SID>/..../JSPM/param
    open file jspm_config.txt
    include the below line
    /jspm/inbox=/<location of the SP files>
    Restart JSPM and it should work.
    Regards
