Error: The Java Runtime in use does not contain a suitable JAXP feature

Hi,
I'm trying to get Eclipse TPTP to work. One of the steps I need to execute is to run a setConfig.bat file. When I ran it, I got the following error:
ERROR: The Java Runtime in use does not contain a suitable JAXP feature
RESOLUTION: Use a JRE which supports the JAXP featureI use Eclipse Europa, and it is using my JDK (actually JRE) 1.6.0_05. That should mean I have JAXP in my JRE (which is confirmed when I search on JAXP from the directory C:\Program Files\Java containing jdk1.6.5_05 and jre1.6.5_05 directories).
Is there something extra I need to do to let Eclipse and TPTP find my JAXP classes?
TIA,
Abel

Hi,
Even i am getting the same error but i use JRE 1.5.0_14. please let me know if you happen to resolve this.
Thanks in Advance,
Sai

Any thoughts on how to fix this? Seen a few references to a "site reset" for SCCM 2007 but wanted to make sure there wasn't anything else to try before heading down that road with 2012R2.

A site reset can also be done in CM12 so it's worth a try.

    Hello,
it seems to be working now. The only change I did was to increase the java heap size, but it feels a bit strange that it should have anything to do with the problem in question.
Anyway thanks very much for your help.
    Best Regards

  • Error:  The local root folder, ZZZZZZ, does not exist.  Please...

    Dreamweaver newest - Cloud
    Windows 7 Prof 64b SP1
Everyday now upon firing up Dreamweaver I am getting the same error. As long as I worked on this certain site last the day before, dreamweaver of course tries to load that site upon the next startup.
The error:  The local root folder, ZZZZZZ, does not exist.  Please choose a new local root folder
I have typed the path myself and browsed to it many times.  When I go into the Site manager/edit site to correct this, it already has the correct path listed there.  If I just leave what is there and hit save, it doesn't work.  Once re entering is done it allows me to work on the site again. Connecting to remote/upload files and everything works fine.  I can close DW and reopen and all will be fine, for a while.    If I close it and maybe two hours later come back to work on it, DW will report that same error again on startup.
Other editors of the site with same cloud version of DW and same site settings are not having this error. We've combed for differences.
I've deleted the site definition altogether and recreated it.  It does not stop the error.
I found some old references to this issue in the old macromedia forums dealing with Mac and spaces or odd characters being an issue in the local folder path. I'm on windows, but the complaints sounded so similar I decided to try a test suggested there.  Their suggestion was to create a new blank html file, without saving, add some text, select the text, use the link icon in the properties manager to drag a link out to any file in the files panel.  Upon doing so, DW creates a full local path that you can see in your html since you haven't saved the file yet.  The suggestors of this test said you should see if your "mac" and DW was having trouble with spaces or odd characters in the path.   Well the following path shows a PIPE character being created in the path by DW on my test page.
    file:///W|/private/09 Websites/zzzzzz/index.html
Could this be showing there is some kind of issue that I need to correct?  Or is this typical?  See the pipe character being listed after the network drive letter of W
    Our local root folder path:
    W:\private\09 Websites\zzzzzz\
    Server Settings:
         Root Directory:
    public_html/zzzzzz.com/
         Web URL:
    HypertextTransferProtocolCOLON//worldwideweb.zzzzzz.commercial/
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Sudarshan Thiagarajan wrote:

Is this how your remote setting is defined? If it is, do you have a folder called zzzzz.com on your remote server trailing public_html? Ideally public_html is your website root - index.html resides within that, unless your configuration states otherwise.
To come to your actual question of the local root folder, yes, your file manager wont show files if the connection fails. However, accessing it depends on the permissions you have on your network drive. Have you checked that?
I'm not sure why our guy has another folder underneath public_html. My guess is he has some company related hosted test folders for various things under there.  I can see a couple other folders under public_html while checking with filezilla. I suppose he just directed our domain to our web folder under public_html.
Again, two others here are using these exact same settings with no root folder errors from DW. We've checked many times and all is the same for them.
Here are some screen grabs of the settings if this makes it more clear.
This last one showing the remote connection address under the files/assets panel is the one that looks strange to me.  It shows a home folder / then a folder with our site name / then public_html / then our sitename.com .    Seems convoluted to me.  But it works for everyone else so I'm not sure if this error I'm getting has anything to do with these settings or if there is just some old DW settings file hung up in my system that I need to find and delete or what.
    Thanks for any ideas.

My guess is that you deployed an ejb without bean in it. when you have an ejb module, be sure you have at least one bean present.
Are you sure you have implementend some beans? Or did you do this only in the web module?
Try adding an @Stateless bean doing nothing in you ejb module, redeploy and let me know if that works

  • Endpoint Protection error: The source folder for content does not exist.

    I have a single SCCM 2012 SP1 CU4 server running on Windows Server 2012.
I have been using this for a little more than a month for Endpoint Protection and Windows Updates.
I just recently started seeing that my Endpoint Deployment Package has Failed.  I click on "Content Status" and select the Endpoint package (which again shows Failed).  I click on "View Status" and I get this
    message in the "Error" tab:
The source folder for content does not exist.
The Asset Details point to the exact location  that does not exist:
The source directory "\\<server>\updates\endpoint\6bd81fde-3a3f-4aa9-bf70-ba007891ca68" for package "<package>" does not exist.
I didn't change anything related to this, and that directory path (\\server\updates\endpoint) is
shared and is populated with a lot of other folders.
Is this possibly just a bad update file?  Should I manually create that sub-folder that it says is missing?
Any help would be great!  Thanks!

    Hi
I had same issue. Below is the solution
    Installing
"Visual Studio 2012 Update 3" usually solves this problem. (You can download it through microsoft's official site at
    "http://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=39305")

Thanks once again and I hope someone can help me!

    1. Try re installing JRE.
    2. Check in the internet explorer --> Tool-->Options
there whether the browser is JVm enabled it should be in that list also.
    3. Then in the Registry ie; regedit
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE ---- > Software ----> JAVASOFT---> Java Runtime Environment---> Click on it
then on right hand side you will see Current Version.
in which the value should be 1.4

  • I have installed the java plugin but it does not appear in my add-on list. I have RedHat linux OS using the Firefox 24.2.0 browser.

I have already followed your advice for removing the plugins.dat file from the .mozilla directory. The plugin still hasn't appeared in the add-on list. Does anybody have any idea what could be going on?

  • The timekeeping system we use does not like HTML 5 so what is the latest version of Firefox that does not use HTML 5?

We have been told by our timekeeping system provider that the latest versions of FireFox, Chrome and IE are not compatible with their websites at this time. I was told that it was because of the use of HTML 5 by the more recent versions of these web browsers. I need to download the most recent version of FireFox that does not use HTML 5. Can anyone tell me which version this would be?

It isn't "Timesheet Next Generation", is it? We had a thread on that here: [https://support.mozilla.org/questions/961306 Websites using php and mysql stopped sorting drop down lists properly starting last week. Did something change?]
Unfortunately, HTML5 is a large specification with a lot of parts that has been implemented in pieces over the course of several years. It would be really helpful if your vendor could indicate what EXACTLY is not compatible and then it could be researched. Otherwise, you'd have to use trial and error. Either way, you would end up with an older browser that isn't safe to run on the internet. It could be time to consider other vendors...

  • FormsCentral could not import the PDF document because it does not contain interactive form fields. You need to add fields to your PDF using Adobe Acrobat and import again

HALP! What do I have to do to fix this issue??

    Hi blythegemini,
Please see this document: How do I make my PDF form fillable so I can import it into FormsCentral?
Adobe FormsCentral can't import "flat form" (one that isn't fillable) and convert it to a fillable form. You would need to use Acrobat to add fillable fields to the PDF. If you don't have Acrobat, please feel free to give it a try. You can download a free 30-day trial from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.
    Best,
    Sara
