Error - Trying to delete objects (Positions)

Via Report RHRHDL00, I am trying to delete a few positions, I created for Testing.
I am getting error u201C STOP: The information entered is incorrect, Cost Center missing . Please contact your SAP Rep before completing this.
I am getting the same error via Tcode RE_RHRHDL00
Why should I get this error, when I am just deleting objects?
Please help.

You can use the above report  to delete the OM object. However first remove the OM and PA integration  if the postion is still assigned and then execute.
In case you want to delete the person completely you can use the program RPUDELPN.

  • FPN - error trying to lookup object - remote role assignment not working

    Hello everyone,
We have implemented a Federated Portal Network connection in our landscape between our portals.
We use only remote role assignment functionality.
Everything was working fine, but since 2 days we encounter the following error in the Default trace.
Error trying to lookup object: alias: <role name>
It is possible to open the producer portal in the Portal Content Administration and also searching for the Producer portal roles is possible in User administration. But when we assign the remote role the tab is not displayed in the portal only the above mentioned error is shown in the default trace. Our portals run SP 12 and BI Java SP14.
Is there a solution or workaround for this issue ?
    Martin

    Hi,
I have the same issue as you, I cannot see role tabs in Consumer portal and I get the same error in the defaulttrace as you.
What did you do to resolve this issue?
    Many thanks

  • Lion: error trying to delete a partition with disc utility

Hi to all. Today I tryed to delete an old and unused partition with disc utility, but after starting the process an error pop up ans says: Necessary support for file system resize, like HFS+ with enabled journaling.
What should i do? I've created a cd with iPartition, and it works, but i prefer to use disc utility. Can anyone help?

Select the partition in Disk Utility and see if you can turn on journaling, if it's an HFS+ volume. How is the drive presently partitioned: APM, GUID, or MBR?
How old is this partition and how was it created?

  • Error trying to delete CRM trans. Administration header could not be found

We were trying to delete a few transactions (Leads & Opportunities ) from our system using T code: CRMD_ORDER. but got this error message: "Administration header could not be found XXXXXXXXXXX". I tried using the program CRM_ORDER_DELTE, but got the same error message. I tried BAPI: BAPI_LEAD_DELETEMULTI but got the same error message.
I applied the Note: 1087462 and then tried to delete these transactions and still got the same error message. Is there any solution to this problem for CRM 5.0?
    Steps for Reconstruction
    1. Go to T code: CRMD_ORDER
    2. Enter Shift+F5 and enter transaction#: XXXXXXX.
    3. In Menu- select "Business Transaction" & "Display/change".
    4. Once in change mode go back to Menu and select "Business
    Transaction" & "Delete".
    5. Click "Yes" on the pop-up.
    6. The error msg: "Enter Business partner" should appear - Msg#
    CRM_EMAIL320
    7. Hit enter, the error msg: "Administration header could not be found
    XXXXXXXXXX" appears.

Received response from SAP support partner:
Please verify first if the issue is caused by badi implementation
of ORDER_SAVE badi. Please check method prepare and check_before_save.
Maybe inside your implementation the function crm_order_read is called
but that is not possible in case of deleting a document as document is
    not available anymore.
If that doesn't work try this one:
Please check to see if you have a badi ORDER_SAVE method
CHANGE_BEFORE_UPDATE. Please deactiviate the ORDER_SAVE Badi and retestthe deletion.
This is how we resovled our issue - hope this helps someone else:
Check using T Code: SE80 to look for a BADI implementation which used BADI: ORDER_SAVE:
SE80-> Package: Z* (look for custom packages) -> Look under enhancements for any BADI Implementations which have used ORDER_SAVE (double click implementation and in the right pane look under Definition name).
Click 'Change' and deactivate this implementaiton. Now try to delete the CRM transaction. The error msg should not pop up now. Once deletion is completed reactivate this implementation.
This is just a work around. The problem lies in the code and the code within the implementation should be debugged and fixed so that this error message does not come up again.

  • What can be done to avoid getting the following error when trying to delete unused clips he operation could not be completed.  *** -[__NSArrayM insertObject:atIndex:]: object cannot be nil

what can be done to avoid getting the following error when trying to delete unused clips in Imovie 09 "the operation could not be completed.  *** -[__NSArrayM insertObject:atIndex:]: object cannot be nil"  I use to get these type of error messages when trying to delete unsused clips from a large event 60 minutes or longer, but now I get this message when trying to reduce a 4 minute event.
Also, does anyone know if there is a limit to the total amount of space that can be taken up by Projects in Imovie 09
    Thanks for any help

    Zachy,
    It goes something like this...
Put your new drive in the enclosure. Use Disk Utility to format it, etc. I'd give it a slightly different name than the original. Let's say you have Old Disk and New Disk as your drive names. Use Carbon Copy Cloner to copy Old Disk to New Disk. Now you should have an exact copy, which you can test by rebooting and holding down the Option key. Choose New Disk from the list and let it boot, make sure all is well.
Shut down and physically swap the drives. Take Old Disk and put it in the enclosure. Now your system has a new disk with a lot more space and you can reformat your old disk and just use it for large files or whatever.

  • Hyper-V encountered an error trying to access an object on computer ...

I'd like to share an issue which occurred during one of my recent configurations as well as the associated solution which worked for me.
While configuring Hyper-V Manager on a non-domain joined Windows 8.1 Enterprise client, to communicate with a non-domain joined Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2012R2, I received the following enjoyable message:
Hyper-V encountered an error trying to access an object on computer '.....' because the object was not found. The object might have been deleted. or you might not have permission to perform the task. Verify that the Virtual Machine Management service
on the computer is running. If the service is running, try to perform the task again by using Run as Administrator.
As it turns out I forgot to change the machine name on the Hyper-V server. It's worth noting that it's also necessary to add an entry in the client machine's HOSTS file which matches the computer name of the Hyper-V server.

    Hi ITMAGE,
Thanks for your sharing and support for this forum .

  • Error while trying to delete the universe from CMS

    Dear All,
I am getting "Unable to reconnect to the CMS XXXXXXXXX. The session has been logged off or has expired" error while trying to delete any universe from the CMS. I tried restarting tomcat but it didnt work. I am unable to delete any universe from CMS. We have BO XI R2 SP2 environment on Windows 2003 Server.
    regards,
    Umair

SAP NOTE - 1199539 gives a possible solution to this problem:
When attempting to delete or migrate a universe, the following error message appears:
"Unable to reconnect to the CMS BUSOBJDV.ACSAD.NCSU.EDU. The session has been logged off or has expired."
    Environment
BusinessObjects Enterprise Premium XI Release 2 SP1 CHF15
    JDK version 1.4.2_08
Tomcat version is the same as that shipped with the product
    Cause
The universes and connection pages are special (AFAIK) compared to the other pages because they are pure JSP, while most of the other Central Management Console (CMC) pages still go though the CMC and use COM/C++ code unaffected by the Java Virtual Machine (JVM). If the JVM has not been updated against Eastern Daylight Savings Time (EDST), it may calculate the incorrect time locally, and problems may occur with token expiry or validation.
    Resolution
Update the Tomcat JDK to JDK 1.5.0_11 for EDST:
    1. Go to the Microsoft web site and verify if you have the time zone update installed.
    2. Download JDK 1.5.0_11.
    3. Install JDK 1.5.0_11 on your server.
    4. Modify the JAVA_HOME here:
    C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Tomcat\bin\setenv.bat
    as follows:
    set JAVA_HOME=C: \Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_11\jre
    5. In Java Virtual Machine and Java Class Path, modify JAVA properties for Tomcat (Start > Programs > Tomcat > Tomcat Configuration > Java). Replace the default Business Objects JDK 1.4 directory:
    C:\Program Files\Business Objects\j2sdk1.4.2_08
    with JDK 1.5.0_11:
    C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_11
    6. Go to Windows Time Zone (double-click Windows time) then on the Time Zone tab, select the automatically adjust clock for day light saving changes check box against EST time zone.
    7. Restart Tomcat and the Central Management Server (CMS) and, if possible, reboot your computer.
Hope this works anyone facing this problem on Windows servers.
Not sure what the solution is for BO instances running on Solaris. We have business objects/Weblogic running on a solaris server. I tried just changing java home to jdk1.5.0_12 but this didn't work.

  • Trying to delete a cost centre against a position

    Hello fellow SAP users,
We've run into a issue when trying to delete a cost centre record against a position, the scenario is as follows:
Cost centre was created on the Parent Org Unit on the 01.01.1900 and delimited 01.06.2010.
This created an infotype 0001 record for the employee with a blank cost centre (correct) effective 01.06.2010.
Administrator then created the same cost centre against the position (incorrect as this is a non-payroll org unit and position within it so therefore no requirement for a cost centre to be captured) from the 01.09.2011 with high date.
This created an infotype 0001 record for the employee with the cost centre reflecting effective 01.09.2011.
Now when trying to correct the above we want to delete the cost centre against the position (record from the 01.09.2011) however we get the following message: "HISTORICAL RECORD ALREADY CREATED". So we are unable to delete this record in order to correct the master data on both OM and PA side, keeping in mind no payroll is run for this employee.
    How do we correct this?
Look forward to the feedback provided.
    Kind regards
    Dorianne

    Hi,
The message is because your position has the historical record flag (HRP1000-HISTO) set to u2018Xu2019. From SAP help:
Allows you to mark infotype records as historical records. Historical records are permanently stored on the database, so that you can report on the information at a later point in time.
NOTE: You cannot change records once they are marked as historical. As a result, you should not mark records as historical unless you no longer require them for processing.
Typically, the flag is set if a user has delimited an object through PP01. Youu2019d see the historical flag in the window that pops up.
To remove the flag, execute report RHHISTO0, enter the relevant details in the selection and execute. The next screen ill show you which record has the flag set. Select that row and click u201Cremove historical recordu201D button on top. You should then be able to remove cost center from the position.
    Hope this helps.

  • Error when trying to delete a query from production

    Hi Experts,
When i tried to delete a query from <b>production system</b> using RSZDELETE, I am getting an error message like " Query object 42BYOKUXDNZBZKMC2VHR5Z19H is blocked. Deletion has been cancelled."
i went to E071 table using SE16,and found out the transports which contains this particular object. This transports have returned error code 8.
Can anyone help me on deleting this object entry from these requests?
<b>How will I delete this particular object entry from these transport requests?</b>
    Thanks alot
    Shobin

    Hi Venkat,
Thanks alot for your quick reply.
I tried that also. But even those transports are not successful.
I would like to know <b>what is the standard procedure to delete objects from a transport request in production</b>.
Already, I unlocked the transport request to Modifiable status.
    Thanks alot

  • Weird Error when trying to delete a flickr album

    http://bayimg.com/GAkNMAAcn
I tried to delete a linked flickr album created through aperture but got this error. No reaction when I click either button, I forced a quit and then tried to delete it again but the same thing happened.
What should I do to delete the album?

That's not an error message that you've posted - that's a dialog box asking you to confirm your deletion request. (Potentially 'saving you from yourself'.)
That aside, the issue is that you can't actually carry out the deletion. A stuck object like this is possibly a good reason to run some [Library First Aid|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3805]...
Or... Have you done any independent album management over at Flickr? If you have, that might have broken the connection between Flickr and Aperture leading to this issue.
Or... Is your software (operating system and Aperture) fully patched?
    Hope something here helps.

    Gary

    HI,

I want to install WIndows-7 inside windows 8 as a virtual machine. SO I tried to use "HYPER V MANAGER" with elevated privilege. wHEN I TRY , NEW->VM Machine->'after some steps'-> when I press Finish I get following error,

my understand is: "we can use Hyper v, instead of Virtual box or as VMware player". I think in windows 8, hyper v server is not installed. does that is the problem? Why do we use it ?
Actually I wanna configure Kernel Debugging over Virtualized COM port. So what can I do next ?  please help me...
Note: Virtual Machine Management service  is running.

    Hi mrCracker,
    >>am using windows 8, 64 bit system inside VMWARE in Ubuntu 14.04 .
If I understand correctly , it is nested installation .
    Windows Hyper-v is bare-metal hypervisor  .
Please try to install win8 on real hardware then enable hyper-v to install VM .
    Best Regards
