Error when DTP

hi all,
when iam trying to load data to info cube through DTP from source system(data source) it giving below mentioned error.
Transformation inactive; request cannot be executed
Message no. RSBK257
Diagnosis
A transformation called up by the request is inactive.
System Response
Request processing has been terminated.
Procedure
Activate your transformation. It connect source &v1& with target &v2&.
i have checked that no transformation is inactive but it gives the same error.plzzzzzz help me how to solve this issue.

By debugging that DTP load, we found the root cause of problem, which is the following.
Error when writing the SID 10033950 (value "10033950") in table /BIC/SZPERSON
Since, a particular record can't be deleted from PSA, I modified that record in PSA and tried a load, but no use.
To fix this, I deleted (from SE14) complete data from the above SID table, and scheduled the main PC in Dev, and it worked fine this time.

Unknown error when executing DTP

Hello,
I am getting this strnge error, that i cannot seem to overtake. I am executing a DTP but it is erroneous as i am getting in one datapackage this error:

- Check Duplicate Key Values - Ok
- Check Data Values - Ok

- End of Master Data Update - Ok
(Here the DTP should stop, but below the last ok message i get this with the error signal behind)

We have been able to identify what causes the MDX driver to error and I will explain what we are trying to implement with the hierarchies.
Firstly, we are creating reports of the HR cube Mutliprovider using the SAP MDX Driver which works well when there are no authorization analysis set on the cube. But with the authorization analysis set for on 0ORGUNIT for BEx Explorer Crystal returns the MDX error.
Each of the Business Unit managers are assigned to an Organization Unit that will be used to restrict the employees that will be reported. To restrict the Managers to only see their Org Unit we have set the 0ORGUNIT object to use authorization ananlysis and a custom authorization variable to return only data for the Org Unit they belong too.
In Crystal this works well when a manager has an Org Unit that is a head department of other Org Units. This scenario will give Crystal the NodeID and Parent NodeID to create the hierarchies in the report. But when a manager does not have any other Org Units beneath there own department then Crystal doesn't have a Parent NodeID to create the Hierarchies with the NodeID. In the RFC trace I can see an error when Crystal is trying to get the Parent NodeID but the user is not authorized to that Org Unit then it throws the error.
We have got a temporary workaround which is to create the managers a dummy Org Unit below their own department. The workaround will do for now but shouldn't the MDX driver be able to recognise that it has returned the last level in the Org Unit Hierarchy and not return an error?
The customer is looking for a product fix as they believe this should be handled by the driver. Is this a bug or a limitation of the product?

I hv a ZCube which contains some data..now due to some requirement I changed the Transformation activated it & transported Transformation & cube from Development to Production server..
I tried activatingf DTP on production itself but it is giving following errors:

Hi Shilpi,
there are several correction notes regarding DTP on this SP level, please try note 1151263.
Please also look into the transport log, expand it, and to see if there should be any other information.
please also try RSDG_AFTER_IMPORT_FOR_CORR according to 411574 to try re-import.
There might be some inconsistency for PSA table, please run RSAR_PSA_CLEANUP_DIRECTORY to check.

Error when activating DTP for InfoCube

Hi
I encountered an error '**** Error from PSA ****' 'Error when activating Data Transfer Process DTP_436DF8XYKE2Y97CUX9W7FM0JH' while trying to activate the DTP for an infocube. Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it ?
I'm on support pack 9 at this moment.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I had already created the transformation for the bespoke cube, checked, saved and activated it without any error. Next, I created the DTP for this cube. Checked it and there wasn't any error. However when I activated it, I received that error message. I didn't get this error when I activated DTP for DSO and master data infoobject.
I have deleted and created the DTP like 5-6 times and still faced the same error message.
Prior to applying support pack 9, I didn't get this error message. Now that I did and also applied the collective OSS note 978148 (BI in SAP NetWeaver 2004s: OSS notes after SPS9), I received this error message.

I think you have to create export datasource for the first DSO and then check creating the DTP.

The exception CX_static_check is neither caught nor is it declared in RAISING clause of "EXECUTE"
but when i see in start routine and transformations there is no syntax errors , please some one help me how to come out from this...

Please Debug the code while the data is being loaded & you will come to know where exactly is the DTP failing.
Also, go to ST22 to see the run time error & the piece of code where it is pointing to.
If possible, paste the piece of code that is written after you've found out where exactly is the problem.

Hi,
     Are your DTPs delta loads? Sometimes, you may face this problem with the DTPs with delta loads. in that case, the delta DTPs don't get overwritten sometimes. This could be the problem.

Error when releasing a transport

Hello experts,
I am getting an error when releasing a transport. The error message is telling me that
Object DTPA DTP_009C8T81IIB6H4UFC7FQUVRFL was set to 'inactive'
The detailed error message isnt very helpful. The performance assistant gives the error message RSO 407.
I found another thread, scn.sap.com/thread/3428031
The answer in this thread appears to be very close to a solution for me, I just need a little more information I think. As it says, I have looked in the table RSTRAN for the transformation that this DTP processes. There are three rows, with a different OBJVERS. A and M are both set to ACT, but OBJVERS = D is set to OBJSTAT = INA.
I suspect that this is the problem with the releasing of my transport. Do you agree?
If so, how do I go about getting this activated?

Hi Simon,
The D version will be always inactive as it indicate SAP Delivered version of the transformation.
I will suggest just have a look at any existing transformation, you will find same status i.e D version INA also check last change it will be SAP also under content column you will find info for D version.
I still say, just go ahead and release your transport by ignoring the message, it should work. You are all set to move your transport.

Runtime Error when activating Comp Records

When trying to activate IT 0759 records in Comp to update Basic Pay, some employees received a Runtime Error. It states, "The exception CX_HRPA_VIOLATED_POSTCONDITION was raised, but it was not caught anywhere along the call hierarchy."
It says it was not caught in 'HR_ECM_INSERT_INFOTYPE' function.
Has anyone else seen this problem? It didn't happen for all employees.

Another reason for locked SPO's is:
The terrible attribute-change-run (ACR). When you try to activate a locked SPO, you only get a message like this:
Runtime Lock: Activity ACTIVATE_SPO, Object DATATARGET ZZZ
Unable to lock the semantically partitioned object
Error when activating Semantically Partitioned Object ZZZ
NO DTP request is running, so you can take all the day trying to find the error.
So in my case, there was an incomplete ACR (cancelled with error - red).
It's like a curse. It is not easy to find the relation between ACR an SPO activation process (SAP error message is not useful to identify the reason)
Finally, keep in mind:
Check any DTP request running or cancelled that affect your SPO model and
Check if you have an ACR (running or cancelled). This can lock your SPO object

Error when generating master data routines

I´m trying to activate 0BPARTNER but an error appears: Error when generating master data routines, and no more information is provided.
I´m working with BW 7.0.
Has anybody had this problem?

Hi Carmen,
I'm working with SAP BW 700 and I had also this error during a characteristic activation in my QA system. This happened when I tried to transport the activated characteristic from my DEV system.
I found also message TK425 when I was trying activation through RSDG_IOBJ_ACTIVATE program.
I solved this error message with OSS note 01458319 700SP24: "Transport fails during the impact analysis of DTP".-

Dear experts,
I'm getting this error when activating an DSO.
I'll try to explain when this error happens.
I have a DTP in Delta Mode between 2 DSO's.
The first time I run the DTP the DSO activates with no problems.
The next time I run the DTP and it gets data the activation of the DSO has the error: Error when assigning SID: Action VAL_SID_CONVERT InfoObject 0FISCPER
I've googled it but I can't find a solution for this.
The first time I got this error I've deleted the DSO anda loaded the Data again and got no errors.
The next Delta that has Data gave error when activating the DSO.
Whan can be happening here?

So you want to say that data loaded successfully in DSO 1 and while activating data in DSO2 you are getting this error.
DSO1 feed data to DSO2 correct.
Please check if generate SID upon activation setting is checked in DSO1 or not.Because if its the issue with fiscal year period then it should have given the error at DSO1 itself provided that setting is maintained.
I just stumbled upon a document which addresses this issue and it seems the problem is with fiscal year variant.

The transformation must be reactivated.
so i tried to activate the trasformation in dev and transported,
now i got the following error

i have an inactive RSDS 0VTYPE_TEXT ECPCLNT118 -> IOBJ 0VTYPE in BI prod
data source 0VTYPE_TEXT is been activated in R/3 SS and replicated to BIP as well and its active
when i tried to delete Transformations and DTP, the trnsport req failed with errors throw the message
PSA /BIC/B0000649 does not exist in log.
i observe that even though request failed with errors, DTP still deleted but not transformations.
one thing i found,
I wont be able to find 0VTYPE_TEXT (Value Type for Reporting (Texts)) under the info object 0VTYPE.
is this error cause?
i did collected all objects and transported, still errors throwing the folling messages
