Error when increasing tempdb size UCCE 7.5

I am receiving the following error when attempting to increase the size of the Tempdb on our Historical Data Server.
Expanding database tempdb
Creating database device tempdbD112121455 for TempDb
SQL Msg: (102 0r 0x66) Incorrect syntax near 'NAME'.
Error querying database.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Jason K

This appears to be an issue with case sensitivity.
Creating database device tempdbD112121455 for TempDb.
I was able to increase the size through the SQL Managment Tool and my Webview reports started working again. Is there a way to correct this without having to reinstall SQL (2005)?

  • Print orientation error when customizing paper size or default A4 size.

    Hi,
    I had set my report print with landscape orientation, it works well in print preview and export to pdf file.
    but when I do print to printer, the page orientation was changed.
    I got the change rule about the issue, when you customizing page size, the print orientation depends on the width and height. if page width is greater than height, the page will be print in landscape orientation, even I specified it print with portrait mode.
    Did someone get the same issue as mine? How could I solve it.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    This is CR's default setting. It is not error but system behavior.

  • CWStat Polyfit returns large MSE errors when increasing the order beyond 6

    There appears to be an issue with the CWStat Polyfit function in Measurement Studio. It seems to work fine up to the 6th order but after that I'm getting mse values like 1754  and the fit is poor.  So it seems like the fit degenerates after the 6th order for my dataset. Is this a known problem? I don't see the same issue with the Polyfit function in Matlab. My dataset has only 53 points. My version of CWAnalysis.ocx is V6.0.3.589.
    Thanks Liam

    Hi Liam,
    Which version of Measurement Studio are you running? You should ensure you have support for VB6 installed as well. Please take a look at these documents:
    http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/208965
    http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/C204CAC86509342286256BBC00710918?OpenDocument
    It seems to me that this problem is as a result of compatibility issues.

  • Error when we tried to increase limits for Property of type string

    hi,
    Actually initially we were getting error when we were trying to add content for property of type string of character length greater than 255.
    After that we increase size for that property in pointbase from 250 to 1000 and that works.
    But when we tried to increase limit from 1000 to 4000,it was taking only limit upto 1300.
    Response needed urgently

    Cases can be
    1. file name should be in caps (upper case lower case conversion
    2. when executing in bg variant not picked
    3. collision of file path across servers in a system
    In a system there will be servers  like in Quality it can have varying servers ex sapqp1 sapqp2 sapqp3
    In here qp1 qp2 and qp3 are the servers in quality which can hold the unix data (al11) . If qp2 is directed in your check and if qp2 dosent have the file path it throws error. recently we have faced a similar issue . Problem was solved when basis guys made the setting across all server's to access the path.
    Try these options.

  • 'Font contains bad/Widths' and 'Cannot find/create font' errors when saving pdf as Other Reduced Size PDF

    I am exporting .indd files from within Indesign as pdf files, opening in Acrobat Pro XI. I have no trouble creating the initial pdf file, however, when I go to Save Other > Reduced Size PDF I get error messages. Depending on the file, I receive either the message, "The font (Myriad Pro) contains bad/Widths" replacing the text with dots or "Cannot find or create the font (Helvetica) Some characters may not print or display properly" replacing text with dots or boxes.
    My confusion is that the file is exporting to pdf from Indesign without error, it is only when I try to Save Other> Reduce Size PDF that the error occurs.
    Also, it is only occurring on five out of 120 pages. These same fonts are on other pages and I have no trouble at all with exporting or Reduce Size PDF.
    More frustrating is that I have never had this problem occur in all my previous versions of Acrobat using the same process and typefaces.
    I am reaching deadline on this and cannot find a solution other than to reload Acrobat 9 and ditch this upgrade.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I, too have experienced this issue. Upon export from INDD CS6, I see the error message "The font 'IXWIPX+SourceHanSansSC-Bold' contains bad \Widths."
    The only items on the single-page InDesign document I'm trying to export are copies of a one-page PDF (which was extracted from a longer PDF, arranged into a cover format). I can provide all files as necessary. The longer document that the one page came from also experienced an error when I tried to print to Adobe PDF. While I still get a PDF of the cover on export, despite the "bad \widths" message, it won't print from certain machines. I get nothing (not even an empty shell file) from the attempt to print the larger document (where the cover elements came from) to PDF.
    I can deal with these issues with a few unorthodox workarounds, but wanted to offer comments or volunteer to help test fixes if possible.
    For the record, I'm really not enjoying Acrobat XI. It doesn't seem to have much by way of new features (at least not that I use), and some of those I used most in version X are gone or less functional. Common fonts like Times New Roman are often not found (even though they are definitely on my system); I have a much harder time editing text through the new interface, and I have a few other small gripes—some that I don't have time to get into, others that wouldn't really matter, except that they weren't a problem until I "upgraded." Just sayin'.
    Thanks for listening.

  • How to increase font size in the report when emailed as PDF

    How do I increase the font size of the report when I distribute the report as PDF to the users. I tried using different paper sizes in the LayOut tab in Broad Caster and Orientations. When I open the PDF from the mail I see the report shrinked and not readable, but when I magnify the report the numbers are visible with no loss in quality. I cannot give the users to print a shrinked PDF file. I would like to see a visiable font and print the same size what I see.

    The size of the font is increased by selecting a bigger page size while emailing. This will automatically increase the size of the page.

  • Two issues: Runtime error when trying to Reduce Size or Optimize File. And navigation in some files is VERY SLOW.

    I haven't figured out if there is a pattern here, as of yet.
    This happens with larger files (1500 pages and so forth) and not all the time.
    - Bookmarks may take up to 4-5 seconds to go to its page.  Scrolling up and down pages is just as painfully slow.
    Even when I break the big file into smaller sections, the navigation remains slower than molasses.
    - When I try to Optimize certain files, or Reduce their size, I get a Runtime Error. I have disable the Updater (I read this could be an issue) but that made no difference.  I have also broken the larger files into 2 or 3 pieces.  One of the pieces may work out well (I can optimize and so forth) but the other(s) may not.
    Thank you.
    PS: I use Windows XP Pro, Service Pack 3.  I have requested an upgrade (several times) but my wishes are not their command, I am afraid.

    HI ,Thanks for your response. That was an error in the code I posted, but wasn't the error I was trying to solve. Once correcting that error you pointed out I am getting the problems not when I send a plain text email like:
              if(!sendmultipart)
                 // send a plain text message
                 msg.setContent(msgText, "text/plain");
              }but when I try and send multipart messages doing this:
              else
                 // send a multipart message// create and fill the first message part
                       MimeBodyPart mbp1 = new MimeBodyPart();
         mbp1.setText(msgText);
          // create and fill the second message part
         MimeBodyPart mbp3 = new MimeBodyPart();
         // attach the file to the message
         FileDataSource fds = new FileDataSource(soundfile);
         mbp3.setDataHandler(new DataHandler(fds));
         mbp3.setFileName(fds.getName());
                       Multipart mp = new MimeMultipart();
         //adds the text to the message
          mp.addBodyPart(mbp1);
          //adds the attachment to the message
          mp.addBodyPart(mbp3);
           // adds the content to the message
          msg.setContent(mp);
         }So i get the error when executing the else branch.
    Can you spot any errors here? I get the same error as mentioned earlier.
    Thanks a lot,
    Jess

  • Spinning beach ball of death - Error when running Chrome - kernel: IOSurface: buffer allocation size is zero

    I get the following error when running Chrome v18.0.1025.163 on my MacBook Pro with MacOS 10.7.3
    kernel: IOSurface: buffer allocation size is zero
    I have had many tabs crash, then it crashes the Chrome application, then quickly making my entire Mac unresponsive with a spinning beach ball of death.  I am not sure if it is Chrome or not, as I tend to do most of my work these days in a browser.
    Have others seen this?  Is there a fix?  What can I do to stop these crashes?

    As far as I've been able to discover, this bug is specific to WebKit browsers running (Chrome and Safari are based on WebKit).  Perhaps it is related to those browsers running plugins (like Flash) and using an IOSurface to pass the rendering data back from the plugin.  This issue was constant on my late 2010 MBP and would freeze the machine entirely once a day.  Having switched to using Firefox or Opera I no longer see ANY messages for "IOSurface: Buffer allocation size is zero".  Thankfully, this also comes without any more freezing when time machine starts up or at any other time.
    It looks like there are a lot of changes going on in WebKit relating to IOSurface usage (http://svnsearch.org/svnsearch/repos/WEBKIT/search?logMessage=iosurface).  Hopefully this will be fixed very soon.

  • Can you increase the size of the photo that shows when you receive a call from a contact

    Can you increase the size of the photo that shows when you receive a call from a contact ?

    It used to be if you added the contacts photo on the iOS device they would have a large picture and if you added it from Address Book on OS X they would have a smaller thumbnail.  However, since iOS5, all I've been able to get is the larger photo.  Try adding the picture directly in the contacts app on your device.  That should make it larger.

  • Increasing the size when unlocking

    Is unlocking the pdf form with Reader Extensions server going to increase the size of the form
    I had a PDF form with size 1 MB
    After enabling reader extensions it became 3.8 MB
    Has anyone observed this ?
    Thank You
    Srinivas Surapaneni

    John,
    I too have found that there may very well be a BUG in the reader-rights enabling feature of Adobe Acrobat 8.0 through 8.1. When PDF forms are saved with reader-rights enabled, performing repetitive File>SaveAs commands results in the unusual behavior of the file size growing exponentially regardless of whether you add data or delete data from the form. The expected behavior would be that if you add a little data: the file size grows a little and if you delete a little data: the file size shrinks a little. This is NOT the case with reader rights-enabled forms regardless of whether you perform the File>SaveAs operations in Acrobat 8.1 OR Reader 8.1.
    There is a very easy way to test this unexpected behavior (bug):
    Create a simple form in Adobe Acrobat 8.1 by:
    1)Open Acrobat and select from the menu: File>Create PDF>From Blank Page.
    2) Drag and drop a few (say 20) text box controls onto the form.
    3) Fill in the text box controls with some data.
    4) Save 2 versions of this form: one with reader-rights and the other without reader-rights. (As an example, the filenames could be: "blank_form.pdf" and "blank_form_RE.pdf")
    The form named "blank_form_RE.pdf" is the one that contains the reader-rights.
    5) Open "blank_form_RE.pdf" in Reader 8.1 and perform multiple File>SaveAs operations with data deletion and data addition combinations. You will find that the file size either stays the same or starts growing abnormally large. The size of the file NEVER gets smaller even when you clear the form of all the data! This behavior occurs even when you open the "blank_form_RE.pdf" file in Acrobat and repeat the same test sequence.
    6) But when you open the non reader-rights enabled form (blank_form.pdf") in Acrobat and perform the testing described in step #5, you will see expected file size growth/shrinkage behavior.
    We have alerted the fine people at Adobe to this problem and we are awaiting confirmation from them as to whether or not this is in fact a BUG in the reader-rights enabling feature of Acrobat 8.0-8.1.
    I called Adobe's tech support and they are stating that this is a known behavior/feature. I have no idea how one interprets file size bloat as a "feature".

  • Increasing brush-size crashes Win 8 - when HDMI cable is connected - Why?

    Photoshop Elements. Increasing brush-size crashes Windows 8 when HDMI cable connected to TV or data projector.  I'm using Asus N56V notebook with Nvidia 635M dedicated graphics card with latest driver.
    Any ideas please?
    Many thanks,
    Clive  (UK)

    Hi Brian,
    Here's an update:
    The nub of the problem has been determined by my computer expert as a conflict (as we suspected) between the graphics driver and screen resolution.  However the situation is far from dimple.  I'll be as brief as possible:
    No matter how we approach the settings for the Nvidia driver, when using HDMI, the 'workings' of the compuer automatically reset the driver to either the inbuilt Intel driver and if that's deliberately 'disabled' it reverts to the even more basic Windows 8 driver.  As neither card/driver is 'dedicated', the sharing that occurs between the native resolution of the notebook display and the external display (even if this is set to a compatible value)  the the computer crashes.  It remains OK if a single dsipaly (internal or external) is selected.  Dual display (which I must have) is the problem.  My computer expert is going to contact Asus about this. He even tried setting the global setting to Nvidia only and it still didn;'t succeed.
    I've since spoken with a colleague and he tells me that in the audio-visual community, this is a well known phenomenom with rexcent lapptops/notebooks no matter what to cost or spec - in so far as they ignor the 'dedicated graphics' when on HDMI in favour of the default (shared) driver and hence the problem. Apparently some notebooks are OK but one has to shop around and take pot luck.  What a state of affairs!
    The Asus notebook works OK using the VGA socket but let's face it, I bought this hi-spec computer for HDMI usage.
    This is the story to date.  It would appear that software is not the root cause.
    I will continue to pursue the matter and find a resolutuion (no pun intended - or perahps it was!)
    With all best wishes,
    Clive.
