  • Error when starting work item

    Hi
    We are having SRM5.0.
Trying to create Contract. Workflow Without approval of contract(WS1400086)is activated and start conditions also no workflow activated.
Contract is created and getting message Contract created.
But when tried to release the contract it shows "Awaiting approval".
In Workflow log (SWI1)it shows error."Error when starting work item xxxx".
What could be the reason. Please let me know the solution if anyone of you come across such error.
    Thanks in advance
    Jagadish

    Masa
It is maintained as General task already.
It seems the workflow task WS14000085 does not have definition.
When checked in SWDD for the above teask there are no steps defined for that workflow.
SAP says that we need to define and action for workflow WS14000085.
But what is the procedure to define the workflow.
I presume this is the standard workflow and it should be defined by default when it comes along with the SRM package.
Anyone of you know how to define the workflow and activate the same?

    hi
please assure that if you save your xslt stylesheet locally, that it is saved in UTF-8 format, before you import it.
Pls do export the imported archive as a zip file to your local disk and try opening the same. If its not then the zip file which you have uploaded might have got corrupted/is not fully uploaded.
Try activating the imported archive and do a check before you do that. This you can do with a minor change in the description or so.

  • Invalid URL error when displaying Work Item Attached URL Object in UWL

    Hi,
After upgraded from EP6 to EP7 the user can no longer display the attached URL object of work items in the UWL Inbox.  It works fine in the SAPGUI Inbox so the URL should be okay.  We found below error messages in UWL log file:

Looks like the error is related to the back slashes in the URL but it was working fine in EP6.  We are going to change the back slashes to forward slashes to see it will work.  We would like to know if any SDNer’s can provide some more detail on why this is happening and if there is other solution.  Any hint will be very appreciated.

Use link attachment or add button action to UWL as possible workaround. It appears that work item text can only be displayed as-is.

App_Data directory. The provider attempted to automatically create the application services database because the provider determined that the database does not exist. The following configuration requirements are necessary to successfully check for existence
of the application services database and automatically create the application services database: If the application is running on either Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008R2, special configuration steps are necessary to enable automatic creation of the provider
database. Additional information is available at: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=160102. If the application's App_Data directory does not already exist, the web server account must have read and write access to the application's directory. This is
necessary because the web server account will automatically create the App_Data directory if it does not already exist. If the application's App_Data directory already exists, the web server account only requires read and write access to the application's

    Hi migold,
As other post, please help to post more details for analysis.
Based on my research, the error “Failed to generate a user instance of SQL Server due to a failure in copying database files” is usually caused by that User Instance is set improperly. Please check for the existence of the "User Instance=True;" in
your connection string, if it exists, change it to "User Instance=False;". For more details, please review the following blog.

Afterwards, I try to install the warcraftlogs.air application, and when I execute the program I get the following error:
Se ha producido algún error al intentar instalar esta aplicación. Instale la versión más reciente de Adobe AIR desde http://www.adobe.com/go/getair_es y vuelva a intentarlo.
Translated it should be something like this (this is not the official English message):
Some error has occurred while trying to install this application. Install the latest Adobe AIR version from http://www.adobe.com/go/getair_es and try again.
I've tried to search anything related, because I can't find that exact error message in any Adobe troubleshooting page, but everything I can find is a really old version issue, or something I've tried without success (trying to install everything running as administrator, also via cmd.exe ran as administrator, installing an older version, uninstalling and installing 100 times Adobe AIR, etc.).
I've also searched (but not asked) in Warcraft Logs forums for any solution, but I couldn't find anything related either.
    Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance and best regards! ^^

It probably has something to do wit the kind of HU that you are using.
If you call a " where used " of the error message HUFUNCTIONS 261 you will see that there are several checks concerning the kind of HU.
The types of HU's can be found in domain VPOBJ.
    Hope this helps,
    Regards,
    Dirk.
