Error when running ./netca after clone of oracle home

Hello,
Databas version : 11.1.0.7
OS version : RHEL 5.5
To clone oracle_home on the target system, followed the below steps.
1. Not ran adpreclone.pl on the source as i am doing only database oracle_home clone.
2. Sutdown database and listner of the source db, ziped oracle_home, moved it to target server.
3. Unzip the folder and ran the script clone.pl in the target system, clonning is successfull.
Now i need to configure connection using ./netca (not created database using dbca yet) getting below erros.
[orarman@devtest bin]$ ./netca
****DISPLAY environment variable not set!
Oracle Net Configuration Assistant is a GUI tool
which requires that DISPLAY specify a location
where GUI tools can display.
Set and export DISPLAY, then re-run.
So i have set display as
[orarman@devtest bin]$ export DISPLAY=192.168.1.6:0.0
If i run ./netca getting an below error
[orarman@devtest bin]$ xhost +
xhost: unable to open display "192.168.1.6:0.0"
and
xclock
Error: Can't open display: 192.168.1.6:0.0
[orarman@devtest bin]$ ./netca

Are you using putty to connect to the server or you are directly login into the server

There is a line that reads:

However, it should read:
$ORACLE_HOME/bin/netca /silent /responsefile /local_dir/netca.rsp

Are you logging on as root? Are you SU'ing to Oracle or trying to run as riit?
Try logging out - all the way out. Don't stop there, you need to log ALL the way out.
And then log in as user Oracle.
Logging in as root causes all sorts of headaches. Only SU to root, and then only when you absolutely need it.
Now that you have logged out of root, and logged in (not just su'd) to oracle, what happens??

Error when running Tomcat after reboot the system

when i first install the tomcat without reboot the system (win2k), it start the tomcat without any error message and i also able to view jsp page. but when i reboot the system and try to start tomcat i receive this kind of error message

Although i'm not too familiar with Tomcat, i'm pretty sure this is because something else is already using that port. Try changing the port to something different maybe?
Also, there's a possibility that Tomcat is already started as a service in win2k. Check your services for something like Apache Tomcat to see if it's starting the service automatically.
These are really just educated guesses, but worth a try maybe.

Thanks for the help. I have MD_Packages, MD_Sequences, other MD tables and some MIGR tables created in the target oracle database. How could I know if it was created successful? ORA-06502 - Error when running "Ask The Expert 0.9"

I successfully installed "Ask the Expert" package with Apex 3.0 on Oracle 10g Database 10.2.0.1.0. No error ocurred during the import in my Apex environment.
Besides that, i'm having problems when i tried to run the "Aks the Expert". It always shows the following message errors:
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
Error Unable to write activity log.
I think it was a problem with APEX instalation, but i could run the Sample Application of Apex without any problem.
I opened an SR in Metalink, but to my surprise, the analist of support don't know what's wrong with the demo "Ask de Expert".

Error when run Depreciation Posting Run AFAB

I found error when run Depreciation Posting Run for period 7 2007.
FYI. I had run Unplanned Depreciation (TCode: ABAA) with document date 31.10.2007 and posting date 31.10.2007, trans. type 640. After that, i want to run Depreciation Posting Run (TCode: AFAB) with fiscal year: 2008, posting period: 7, reason for posting run: repeat. Select on Test Run. Then i found error message as below.
Error Message:
Documents manually posted within dep.doc.number range
Message no. AA728
Diagnosis
In the number range interval for the document type for posting depreciation, a document has been posted which was not created within the framework of depreciation posting. The last document posted by depreciation posting was assigned the number .
Procedure
Contact your Systems Specialist. When changing the number range interval for the document type in depreciation posting, you have to specify a new interval in which no documents exist. Using organizational measures, you can guarantee that there are no documents apart from those created by depreciation posting in this number range.

Corba error when running rich clients in 3-tier mode.

I am dealing with an Error when running Rich Clients (WebI and DeskI) with 3-tier ODBC connection to the server.
The client does come up and I'm able to create the query but when the data in refreshed I do get the error:
A database error occured. The database error text is: (CS) "CORBA Initialization failed". (WIS 10901).
I have a test server which I'm able to do this kind of connection without a problem but when I try to connect to the Prod server in 3-tier data connection mode throught the server I get this error.
My setup is:
BO XI R 3.1 FP. 2.1
Clients are also updated with FP 2.1
The data sources are Oracle and Teradata.

ADT packaging with native extensions : permission denied error when running remote build.

We are facing the following error when running the nightly ant build script on Mac machine for our air mobile application. We are using iOS native extensions and package with ADT. This works fine when we run the build as local user in the Mac machine. Earlier we faced some issues due to headless build and we have added the <headless-server>true</headless-server> in corresponding config files (flex-config.xml, airmobile-config.xml). After that we are facing the following error, even when we run the ant build in headless mode using the following command.
ant -Djava.awt.headless=true -f build.xml buildPackage
When running this build as local user in the Mac build machine, we see a window opening with com.adobe.air.ADT while packaging. This is the issue when running nightly build as there is no graphics window.
Can anybody please help how to get rid of this issue for nightly build using adt,jar?

Note: Before the above error that were two other errors .
1) The build complained that the adt-bundle-linux toolchain could not be found and required that it be added to .mozconfig. This was done.
2) The build complained that dx could not be found.
The configure file was edited and the values $DX, $AAPT and $AIDL were all set to the adt-bundle-linux/sdk/build-tools/android-4.4 path.
The instructions given on the Mozilla Wiki did not work right for Android and several modifications were made to move it along. But this permission error is tough to figure out.

you've posted this in the WebCenter Content forum. You may want to repost your question in the WebCenter Portal forum, as the stacktrace tells me you are dealing with the WebCenter Portal Framework. Some more information would be helpful too. What kind of are you deploying?

Unfortunately not. I figured out that the problem was caused by some missing libraries. The amserver.war of the package installation is not identical to the amserver.war archive of the the single war deployment, since the package deployment uses a shared folder for some of the libraries. After copying the libraries into the staging folder I ran into other issues. Therefore I decided to install Access Manager using the single war depolyment. I could then install the SAML v2 plugin without any problems.

Error when running my adf application in Jdev 11

Hi i develop one application that work fine in mi laptop and other computers, but yesterday i load it in one computer that throw me error when running:

Didn´t find Time Zone..
I dont know what could be the problem in that computer.. some regedit configuration??

Looking at the exception, it seems the machine is so slow that it could not give enough time for the report engines to start up can also result in this exception.
Please try the following :
Increase the callbacktimeout parameter for the report server. In server conf file that increase the callbacktimeout parameter for the report server from 1 minute (60000 milliseconds) to 3 minutes(180000 milliseconds)
