SOAP Receiver- Error While Sending Message: 500 Internal Server Error
Hello,
Our scenario: IDoc to SOAP
I have added a third party system in the SLD and have used the same in my ID configuration.
An idoc will be triggered from R/3, which will received in PI, PI will transform the IDoc into SOAP message for the third party system.
I have tested the scenario in ID from Interface Determination and its successful.
But when i try to try to test it from RWB, using Test Message in Adapter Engine, I get an error,
"Error while sending message:500 Internal server error"
If we test it using a testing software like SOAP UI, it works fine but from PI we get the error mentioned above.
Regards,
AbhishekHello,
Since the IDOC adapter resides on the ABAP stack, you can use this URL instead (it will be sent to the integration engine as Venkata suggested)
http://host:port/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
Also check your firewall settings from PI to the third-party system.
Hope this helps,
Mark

" Error while sending message: 500 Internal Server Error" RNIF Adapter
Hi,
I have configured B2B integration as Sender : RNIF adapter & Receiver: XI Adapter.
I am able to test the configuration successfully in ESR and ID. But, whille testing with RWB using same test data, i am getting the following error:
Error while sending message: 500 Internal Server Errot.
Could you anybody help me, what could be the reason? Even i am not getting any error messages in SXMB_MONI.
Thanks
LaxmanHope this helps..
-Is the 500 internal SErver Error in RWB is only for this issue and the message is successfully processed in SXMB_MONI?
Could be the PI Service User :PIAFUSER(Adapter framework user) login crendential issue or run out time error.
Try taking the payload from sxmb_moni and enter it in RWB > Adater engine> Test Message Tab > give proper sender interface information , enter payload and try sending message. check what is behaviour -
Imp: Error while sending message: 500 Internal Server Error
Hi all
while testing my scenarios- by sending the message through component monitoring in RWB I get the following error in Integration Server
<b>"Error while sending message: 500 Internal Server Error "</b>
It seems that integration server is not picking up the messages.
Can anyone help me on this?
thanks
AbhishekHi Abhishek,
Check whether the integration url is pointing to correct one something like http://host url:http port/sap/xi/engine?type=entry.
Please do refer the below blog:

500 Internal Server Error while accessing the report on portal
All,
We are on BI7. have few queries on portal and recently while accessing the queries user is getting the 500 Internal Server Error. The error message is like below:
500 Internal Server Error
Failed to process request; contact your system administrator
BEx Web Application " I_Qnc()2ex.........(etc) does not exist. The application was either ended by a timout or an error occured.
Recently most of the users started getting this problem and it is on a high resolution to be resolved.
Any suggestion greatly appreciated.
Regards
VijayHi
This is mostly TimeOut Error.
However, 500 Error applies to variety of problems within the server.
Please make a back up of your query and restrict it further so it populates less data.
If the report is running properly for less range of data, that's a timeout issue.
Otherwise you will have to recheck the query. Mostly these are timeouts because, in general production data is high and if there us less restriction, the query OLAP time and front-end time will be more than optimized.
Cheers

Regards,
AjayBefore you run AutoConfig, please compile the JSP files as per the doc referenced above and see if this helps (stop the application services, compile the JSP pages, then start the application services).
You can run AutoConfig while the application services are up, but you need to restart after AutoConfig is done.

500 Internal Server Error while trying to view report from portal page
Hello guys,
We are using BI7. while accessing the queries for the reports, its displaying the 500 Internal Server Error. The error message is:
500 Internal Server Error
Failed to process request; contact your system administrator
BEx Web Application " I_Qnc()2ex.........(etc) does not exist. The application was either ended by a timout or an error occured.
Need your help on this..
Thanks in Advance,
Yogesh. In which environment are you running this query? Is it Dev. system or Quality/testing or Production ?
1.Generally in most of the cases this will be a TimeOut Error, but not necessarily just that,500 Error applies to variety of problems within the server.
Try and restrict the query to populate less amount of data and check if you get teh same error, if so the check for latest OSS note, have a look at your SP level as well before applying the oss note if relevant.
2. If this doesnt solve, then recheck the query.
Due to large amounts of data in production the OLAP and front -end might require more amount of time than assigned, though not recommended, you can check by changing the waiting time just for thsi query to make sure that this is the problem and not something else which requires basis assistance.

The queries on which this template is built are executing without any error.
And not all our webtemplates show this error page. What could be the reason?
Thanks
JeevithaHi,
I guess you meant BEx 7.0 (WAD 7.0 indeed), Check with the Basis team, execute the transaction RSPOR_CUST01, Check whether there are any parameters missing while the integration of Portal was done, It seems like a Java error,
Also, The Web templates that you are receiving this error with, were they recently installed, You said you don't receive the same errors with all your templates, Are you able to execute a query on PORTAL say via a Query designer, try doing it.
and yes, Please check the below links as well,

Error 500--Internal Server Error while opening a taskflow in inline popup
Hi,
I am getting "Error 500--Internal Server Error" while opening a bounded taskflow as a popup from another bounded taskflow containing page fragments. The popup taskflow contains jspx pages. I even removed the jspx pages from the popup taskflow to check if the error is resulting from the bindings on the pages but still I get the same error. The entire stack trace of the error in the popup dialog is :

Thanks,
KKHi Frank,
Thanks for the reply. I am using it as an inline popup. I am trying to create command links dynamically in an iterator. When a link is clicked a popup window opens. The text of the link is passed to the popup window by creating a variable in the session scope ( I even tried request scope) by an action listener in the backing bean.
I tried to create another simple application with a static command button which passes its text to popup window through a session scope variable. It worked fine. I am not sure why the same procedure is not working in my original application. Can you give me a hint what could possibly go wrong according the exception stack trace ?
Thanks,
