Error while creating RFC in ECC6.0

Hi Experts,
I am creating an RFC in ECC6.0 version. I have defined one field in import parameter which is of type a structure like: -
HEADER_DATA TYPE ZHEADER
here ZHEADER is a structure having some fields + a table type.
While activating the RFC it gives an error message like "Reference parameters are not allowed with RFC".
it also gives suggestion like : -
Diagnosis
You have defined a reference parameter for a remotely called function module. However, only value parameters are allowed in this kind of function module.
Procedure
Change the reference parameter to a value parameter.
I am not able to understand the Problem. Please help me.

Now i am able to activate it but it is showing warning message "Parameter HEADER_DATA (type ZHEADER) can reduce performance in RFC.
Can we remove this warning?
I hope it will not affect the RFC.

Set-Up Solution Manager Connection to Solution Manager Diagn
Use
Check the connection to function Solution Manager Diagnostics.
Default Settings
The function Solution Manager Diagnostics is installed on the Java instance of the Solution Manager system by default.
Activities
If the default values are correct, save the settings.
To run the Solution Manager Diagnostics in another system, enter the required data and save.
Also check that your java is active.

CPIC-CALL Transaction program not registered Error while creating RFC Desti

Hi All,
I am trying to create a new RFC Destination.
Details I have provided are..
1.RFC Destination Name
2.Connection Type - TCP/IP
3.Description
4. Activation Type - Registered Server Program.
5.Program Id.
6. Gateway Host and Gateway Service.
But When I Test the connection, I am getting the following error.
<b>" program xyz not registered / CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPECMINIT'# Transaction program not registered"</b>
However I was able to create and connect RFC Destinations successfully previously.
I am not SAP guy. Could someone help resolve this issue.

Error while creating RFC Jco provider in visual Admin

Hi,
I have crated a rfc jco provider in visual admin , I have given all the ECC related details both in registered server AND Spcific application server. In both of these I have given R/3 related details like host of ecc and all.
All i have given correct used ID and passowrd also (I am using my own user id and password in this jco rfc provider). that user id is there in ecc with sap all in profile and in roles also i have given 2 roles for that used id, namely sap_bc_jsf_communication AND sap_bc_usr_cua_client_rfc
Still when i try to start it its giving me error: Error starting bundle
please help

Regarding an error while creating RFC Funciton

      First Thank you in advance for all your replies.
      I created an RFC function, checking passed , but failed to activate it. a message says that
         REPORT/PROGRAM statement missing, or program type is I (INCLUDE).
      would you please tell me why? what's more, please tell me what 's the difference between the normal functions and RFC functions except the Processing type. I referring to some material , RFC is Remote-enabled module.

Error while creating "RETURNS" as ERP Sales transaction type

Description: We are getting error while creating ERP SLO type "Returns-ZRE". Message prompts as "Creation of ERP Transaction failed". We do not get the message for other order types for example "Standard order".
Please suggest. Please note that this is an ERP sales order in CRM UI not a CR< sales order.

Is this only for a particular order type?
As stated above this can be to do with user authorisations or the trusted RFC set up. Some things to check are:
- ST22 dumps in ECC
- ST01 authorisation trace for the user in ECC
- Trusted RFC connection set up

I am getting the following error while creating a setup package.
0010 tc.mobile.admin.bl Creation of virtual mi instance failed.
Please suggest what can be the reason for the same.
Also i have certain queries while creating a setup package for Mobile 2005 device.
1.While creating a SDA file in the Operating System tab i m not able to see any option for mobile 2005 device.It shows only WINCE/PPC 2002.Can i use this one or do we have to make some settings or something.
2.I have a MI25Tom_en.CAB file for Mobile framework.But i wanted to integrate it with the trustore and some mobileengine config parameters like syncpassword handling option = loca.What i have to do for the same.If i have a cab file with all these integratd can i use that one or server will by itself put the trustore while generating a SDA file.
3.We have to create two components one for Framework and second for install sequence amd we have to install onle creme on the PDA as i read somewhere.Do i need to put JSSE1-0-3_01.CAB somewhere while defining the mobile component or JSSE also i have to install on the PDA before running the setup.cab on PDA.

Hi Devendra,
If you have downloaded Framework sda from SAP market place.
Then generally the name for the MobileComponent is MobileEngineJsp or AWT.
You can also check the name of MobileComponent in MCD.xml by opening sda->mobile-description->mcd.xml.
Search with this name and version in NWA , if search fails then there is some problem with reload or deployment process.
Check the following.
Login to the ABAP system.
Launch transaction sm59. Create new TCP/IP type RFC connection.
Enter some name for the RFC destination. Give program ID = MEMGMT_MOBILE_CONTAINER_SYNC.
Enter appropriate gateway service and host (same as you entered in Visual Admin). Test Connection.
Launch transaction sm30.
Open table MEMGMT_J2EE_DEST . Create a new entry. Enter the name of RFC destination that you created in SM59 in RFC Destination field. Enter some description.
Save the data.

Error while creating and opening a ERP sales order in SAP CRM

Hi,
I am getting an error while creating or opening a ERP sales order from SAP CRM.
"Creation of the ERP Transaction failed" this is the error i'm getting while creating. when i try to open an existing sales order I'm getting a dump.
Attached the dump screen shot. From the dump analyasis it seems the transactions are not loaded through LORD framework.
The RFC connection seems to fine as i have tested accessing an ECC RFC FM through a sample program and its successful..
please help..

As a matter of fact, we already use ERP Sales Order and it works fine. But I have recently configured a new sales order document type, and the dump occurs only for this new Z order type.

Source sys Restore "error while creating table EDISEGMENT "

Dear All,
I am Basis person and recently we have refreshed data of Test BI system from Development BI system. we normally carry out these Refresh but In this case we have also changed Hostname and SID for Test BI system.
We have done all BW refresh steps as per guide and during Restore of source system we
are getting errors during datasource activation as " error while creating table EDISEGMENT ".
we have checked RFC and Partner profiles and working fine.
We have 2 clients connected from source system to our Test BI box.strange thing is we got one source system activated without any errors and for second
source system we are getting above mentioned error.
We have reviewed notes 339957 , 493422 but our BI fuctional team is not sure whether
those apply to our OLTP system , as one source system from same OLTP system got
successfully activated and source system for other client giving this issue .
Please help us out with this problem.
we are running on BI 7.0 platform and ECC 6.0 for source.

check the relevant profiles in We20 t code and also in sm59 if the remote connection with autorisation is sucssessfull, connection is ok otherwise you need to check th paramters.

When i select Adaptive rfc 2 model and then search for the RFC, when i select RFC and click on next i get an error while importing :
Error while creating model classes, operation aborted.
It is working fine in visual composer and i have activated function module, RFC but getting same error. It is also working in web service navigator also.
Can any one help me out??

I have tested the JCO destinations they are working fine and i created a new pair of JCO destinations but unable to import the Adaptive RFC2 Model gives same error but Adaptive webservices are working fine in my NWDS7.2

I have sufficient amount of memory in my drive.
I have imported the DC to other NWDS but it gives same error.

I think I did something similar with XI about a year ago. You have to create or import some certificates / CA Certificates using STRUST (it depends if you have officially signed certificates or if you are using your own selfsigned certificates. In this case you need the root certificate as well).
=> Note 510007 might be useful
=> When importing your own root CA make sure you choose a valid namespace for Trust Center (starting with Z e.g. ZSELFCA) and choose Root-CA for Category.
=> If you want to view, modify or deltete entries choose menu > certificate > database and you will see a screen where you can search for the entries in the certificate database
Just in case you have problems with your PSE make a copy of directory /usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS<XX>/sec
and delete your existing PSE to create a new one (Carefully!!!
- First of all make sure you installed SAPSECULIB.
- After that you should create a new PSE or create new entries for SSL Server (optionally client etc.)
- You can create an entry directly in TRUST Manager. The resulting certificate will be selfsigned. You can sign
this cert using your CA and then after having it signed you have to import the certificate response (use openssl to do cert stuff)

You can import your own certificates from menu > certificate > import in the maintenance section of the SSL Server PSE or you can just click on the "Import Certificate" button
When done you should check that your generated/imported certificates are working by simple accessing your server using the https protocol (e.g. https://<server>:<sslport>/sap/public/ping should be fine)
Just in case you used your own CA to sign the certificates your Browser will display popup saying that the certificate is not signed by any known trusted CA (we know that so we can ignore that
If you want to use client cert authentication you have to repeat the explained steps for SSL Client (Standard)
=> Create the PSE, sign the generated certificate etc., import the certificate response
When this is all done you should do the following:
- Create a RFC Destination for HTTPS Communication (call sm59, open the Folder HTTP Connections to External Server)
- In the destination enter the destination Host and the path of your application
- After that open the TAB Logon/Security
- In the Status of Secure Protocol Section choose SSL active and DEFAULT SSL Client (Standard) as SSL Client Certificate
- Save all your changes
You should now be able to use this destination for your Webservice communication and it will be encrypted using SSL

Hi Kirran,
Please see if you have defined a status scheme and assigned it to the recipe type. Before defining a status scheme, you must complete the one time IMG activity 'Collect Object Types and Assigned Attributes' under Recipe Development > Status Management. Then in the next node you define individual statuses and a scheme with transitions. For each status, you must define 'field value' for the field RCP_USAGE which is nothing but a value from Recipe Purposes customizing.

Error while creating a PO

Hi all,
I have got an error while creating a PO with an Internal Order. I am trying to post this PO against an Internal Order. The error message says that:
User status BUDG is active (ORD 10034). When I click the perform assistant, it says that according to this status, transaction 'Material purchase order' is not allowed.
Can somebody plss help me in this regards, I will assign points.

What you enter in the Cost element master data is only for defaulting the cost center or order when you use that GL account.
When you see a message transction requires an account assignment, you can enter the relevant cost center for which the cost is incurred.
For your information, If an order has been marked as statistical, you can find it in KO02 change order > Control data. there may be check box saying statistical. If it is not available, then, you can't make it statistical until, you make that field available for change for the order type. Usually orders of a particular type can be made as statistical, by providing a model order to the order type. In the model order you specify that it will be statistical.
