Error while exporting the 3rd party technical system in SLD

Dear all,
    We're currently using PI 7.0. When trying to export the technical system in SLD, after the exporting, the IE jumps to the download page automatically, but there's a exclamation mark with no text info. I've tried to create a new 3rd-party technical system and try to export, the same thing happened.
    It happened in both our develop and our production PI system.
    Also I've found following error info in SLD server log:

not sure if it has relevance, but the SLD level transports will do nothing but create a CIM file which should be downloaded to your deskktop.
1. Make sure that there are no Pop Up BLocker's acting on the XI server on your machine.
2. Make sure that you have the download authorizations on your machine.

I am having the same problem. I found this article in which the user was exporting 100,000 plus records and had the same issue exporting (Discoverer workbook exported to excel error - No dta can be exported and they were able to fix it by adjusting two memory settings in their pref.txt file. However, in my report there are only 1,100 records with eleven columns being returned. I export much larger reports on a daily basis.
Originally, the report was returning records and when I would go to retrieve all records it would tell me that all the rows could not be returned and the data may be incomplete. After scrubbing my SQL I no longer get that message, but the report still will not export and I get the same error as you.
I have not tried the pref.txt settings fix but may try it today to see if that is a workaround. I will then have to evaluate whether it is a good fix or just a band-aid.

Hello,
I would like to have sugestions and help to solve a problem in IS 4.2.
I've created a view from two tables, joined together with the key from each one.
Then i've binded the rule with the view (mentioned above) created and calculated score for it.
The calculation is successful, however when i try to export all failed data i have the following error:
"Encountered an error while exporting the data. View the lof file (DPR-10126)"
When exporting failed data from calculations made directly to the datasources i do not encounter any problem, but when i try to export all data to CSV file (not only the 500 results limit) i have this kind of error.
However, when i visualize the data from the view created, it is also possible to export to csv file.
Resuming, the error occurs only when exporting all failed data from the view.
Can anyone help with this issue?

Your information is correct.
I've just confirmed it in the 4.2 SP3 Release Notes and they specifically refer to this issue.
A user who has 'View objects' rights for the project and a failed rule connection cannot export the failed data. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Getting error in Exporting the data from legacy system to Tables

I am trying to export the data. But am getting the below error.
Unknown system exception - java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.security.auth.login.LoginException: java.net.ConnectException: t3://abc.com:7001: Bootstrap to abc.jdadelivers.com/0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1:7001 failed. It is likely that the remote side declared peer gone on this JVM.
No records are exported.

Error while exporting the clock to CLK OUT of 5922

I am using a PXI-5922 for my application. I need to export the internal clock to the CLK OUT pin in the front pannel of the board. I tried almost all the possible VIs and properties in NIScope functions. Everywhere it gives an error saying "Your device does not support this routing" though in 5922 manuals reads as its possible.
Please suggest any solution.

I'm sorry but the 5922 does not support exporting the internal sample clock to the CLK OUT connector.
The manual [1] has a routing diagram which shows what signals can be routed to the connector, I've placed it here
for reference as Figure 1 below.

You can route the CLK IN external connector to the CLK OUT external connector, as the diagram shows.
Figure 2 shows how to do this, these are all niSCOPE palette vi's.

What options do you have?
#1. Assuming this is to synchronize the digitizer with something else, then use a external
device's sample clock.
#2. Route the PXI CLK to the CLK Out terminal and use this for sample clock source/synchronization

SAP NAME FILE lock error while creating the TR in development system.

Hi All,
I am getting an error message while saving the changes in my SAP Script that 'SAP names file for <UserId> locked by another process'
The name of the lock file is "/usr/sap/trans/tmp/<UserId>.LOS".
Can any body help me, how to resolve this problem ?

This directory option is not a filesystem directory. but a database directory.
Look up dba_directories view
Example:
SQL> create directory expdir as 'D:\EXPORTSCOALA';
SQL> grant read, write on directory expdir to public;
After that:
expdp roger/mypass@scoala directory=*expdir* dumpfile=scoala.dmp logfile=scoala.log

Error while refreshing the runtime Cache! Issue in SLD

Hello Experts,
I am getting a strange issue in Production server due to which messages are ending in error .After every shut down/restart of the PI system ,a technical system for database get created in Production SLD . This is causing cache issue , I need to manually delete it and have to do cache refresh. And then messages get processed successfully.
It looks like some basis configuration issue with the System. Any help?
Appriciate your answer/response if anyone of you came across similar kind of issue.

Hi,
Can you tell me which is your Default PI client. Generally when you install PI, the default client will be 001. Later we need to change this to 100 or 110 as per your clients standards. You need to follow Note:940309 to change your default client.

Authentication error while exporting the SSRS reports to excel from a timer job.

Likely because your user is continuing to call the service in a Windows (classic) DOMAIN\username format, and not in the Claims identity it should be.

Error while exporting the Web Intelligence report

Hello Gurus,
We are using BO 3.1. I have to do some modifications for the existing Webi report. Once i do the modification, save them then try to export it back to the repository. I am getting the following error:
" your security profile does not allow you to save the document in the specified location"
I have all the Admin rights on the folder that I am exporting to. Please throw some light.

Revisit your right on the folder, you might be part of the admin group for the folder but not all previledges are set, like overwriting report that you did not create

Error while exporting objects

Hi friends,
I am getting the below error while exporting the objects from quality system(xi).
Error-->
"Workspace was not defined for software component version xxxx,1.0 of xx.com. Assign the software component version in the Landscape configurator of the change management service to a track."

Getting Runtiime error while exporting to Excel 97-2000 format (URGENT)

Hello Everyone,
This is my first time in this forum.
I am getting runtime error while exporting the report in EXCEL 97-2000, but exporting perfactly in MS-EXCEL (Data only) format.
I found the reason is, using expression (formula) for formatting phone number as shown below.
On table field "abPhone",
used "formula = PhoneFormat() " expression on format field -> common tab -> display string .
Intead that i have used fumula e.g. test1 and used same expression, then it was exporting perfactly..
Having above problem if i use expression to supress group header and report header.
So let me know if anyone can help, why it was giving error in first case.

Hi,
This is the Technical limitation of ABAP list export to local file.
ALV grid greater than 1023 characters per line will be split into 2 lines.
To prevent a line break occuring when you download the list as a local spreadsheet file, you must reduce the width of the list in ALV. You can do this either by hiding columns or by changing the column widths in the ALV. Take care that the column heading characters also dont exceed 1023 characters. This will work.
