Error while firing a WD Exit Plug in Portal :(
Hello All,
Am new in WD and created the Quiz Demo Application referring to help.sap.com.
I have added a URL to the Exit plug as:
wdThis.wdGetQuizInterfaceViewController().wdFirePlugGotoUrl("http://toyouamit.googlepages.com/home")
The application is working fine when run while deploying (from NWDS). But when run from the WD iView, the exit plug gives the following error:
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: Exit-Plug must no be triggered with an URL when running in portal. Use portal navigation instead.
In attempt to resolve this we have created an URLiView but in vain!!
Please guide
Awaiting Reply.
Thanks & Warm Regards,
Ritu
Hi,
the error tells it:
"Exit-Plug must no be triggered with an URL when running in portal. Use portal navigation instead."
See here: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/56/b4544251dcc153e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
There is also another thread where this was discussed, you can find some hints to implement portal navigation:
Closing window of web dynpro application with exit-plug don't run in the EP

pl helpplease provide:
1) your database version
2) the table DDL's
3) some sample data
4) the trigger code
5) the error message you're getting.
without these, it is impossible to suggest an answer. -
Http 404 Error while trying to get the plug-in
Hi,
We have installed the Developer server 6i, and everything was working fine with jinitiator 1.1.7.30.
Recently we have installed Patchset 3A on the machine on which Developer Server was installed and downloaded jinitiator 1.1.8.3. When we try to run the test form from the client machines, we are prompted to get the plug-in 1.1.8.3, and when we click on the "Get the Plug-in", it gives us an HTTP Error 404: "404 Not Found. The Web server cannot find the file or script you asked for. Please check the URL to ensure that the path is correct. Please contact the server's administrator if this problem persists."
The URL is http://<server_name>:port/jinitiator/us/jinit_download.htm?application/x-jinit-applet;version=1.1.8.3
I've checked the virtual mapping of jinitiator, it points to <ORACLE_HOME>/jinit.
Is there anything else that we need to do to get the latest plug-in?
Thanks in advance
LVHi
I am also facing the same error while trying to bring REFOBJ (IBase) context node fields in Interaction Record.
Did you get a reply from SAP about this issue? If yes, can you please state the OSS # ?
Thanks in advance

Thanks,
Alma C.Hi Alma,
This is one of the security issue. We had faced it sometime back.We searched some CSN's and found a solution.
Go to Service Market palce and download the latest Cryptographic Tool kit (Service Market place---->software downloads)
You will get a sca/sda something like tc/iaik./security(something like this)
Deploy this on to your instance using your SDM.
After that,Restart the Portal patching. It will go fine.

Whether yours is already identified and patched depends on the exact version of 11.2 and the specific circumstances.
If you're on 11.2.0.1 then this might be part of what sounds like quite a big bucket of such errors - Bug 9399991 relating to errors and dumps with SQL against partitioned tables. -

Error while downloading App World browser plug-in "not like others error"
Hi,
Ok I bought my first BlackBerry phone and I'm very happy with it. But while I was sitting up my e-mails and other things it ask to sing in with BlackBerry ID so I register at the website. After USING MY PC "windows 7 64-bit" I sing in it ask to install a browser plug-in. So I click download than save to desktop and ERROR can't download. After trying for a week with no luck I went for the back road opened Google and typed "AppWorldinstaller-en.msi" I fond a known website with the same file so I download and install successfully. After that went back to the BlackBerry ID sing in page entered my e-mail and pass and log on. The website checked for the plug-in and reply that it NOT INSTALLED how can that be possible??
PLEASE SOME ONE HELP ME
http://www.m5zn.com/uploads2/2012/2/13/photo/021312160218vajhk89zyxif1eo73drh75.jpgHave you checked your programs and features list to see if it has already installed? I had exactly the same problem using windows 7 x64. It wasn't working and so I tried installing again and got your error. The chances are it's already installed but you're running the 64-bit version of Internet Explorer (or another 64-bit web browser) and the Appworld plugin is only 32-bit, so it wont run inside the 64-bit browser. If you run a 32-bit web browser and go back to Appworld, it should recognise the plugin is installed just fine.

Error while navigating across the pages in Weblogic portal 10.3
I'm using the content managemnt in Weblogic Portal 10.3 to display the tabs in the portal application. I have multiple pages in a book and am trying to display these pages as tabs in the application instead as a different level of menu.
I have achieved in displaying the tabs using the content management. I'm using a separate portlet for displaying the tabs alone. But while navigating across the tabs, I'm getting the following error in the console.
Can someone please help me in eliminating this.

Error While opening the BI Report in Production Portal
Hii Expert,
I have a Report that is working fine in BI Development Server Portal, but when i am trying to do the same in Production Portal it is showing Errors like:
->Fiscal year variant P3 not expected.
->variable 0FYEAR could not be replaced.
if you have an idea please share your idea with me, why it is showing error and what i need to do this.
Regards
PrakashHi Prakash,
I had checked both the settings are fine as you has suggested i.e
->make sure that you have transferred fiscal year variant related settings to BI by-->
RSA1 --> Source Systems --> context menu --> transfer global settings.... and
->Also check table T001 in BI, variant for fiscal year is maintained there or not.
but it still showing the same error. Any more idea ! Please share with me if you have any....

earlier I had entitlements set only on Employee Portal and Calendar in the tree structure Community_repository > Calendar > EmployeePortal > Calendar.
It didnt work and throwed that error.
After your suggestion I set entitlements on groupware.calendar.appointment to create, view, update, delete and instantiate to true.
It worked, thanks for your help.
