Error while trying to move file using File adapter

Hi, I am trying one scenario to move file from one remote folder to other using file adapter as mentioned in heading 4.5.11.1 at http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E21764_01/integration.1111/e10231/adptr_file.htm#CHDGFAAB. But I am receiving the below error:

I got the Mac error code -36 while trying to move a backup file (made by Time Machine) to another drive. The full text of the error message is:
The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in “boot.efi” can’t be read or written. (Error code -36)

It's a disk error. Although Apple documentation says you should be able to copy Time Machine backups in the FInder, that doesn't necessarily mean it will work. I suggest that, instead of copying the existing backup, you start a new one on the other drive, and keep the old one. You need more than one backup anyway.

I created a system DSN named odbc_excel. Then, I created a file named initexcelsid.ora with the following arguments:
HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO = odbc_excel
HS_AUTOREGISTER = TRUE
HS_DB_NAME = dg4odbc
In the location, I put excelsid in the Service_Name entry. Do you need me to post the listener.ora file or something else?

If you have the sample EMP table, the DEPTNO values are 10, 20 or 30.
Did you specify a root value for the tree?

Error while trying to access WebService using WSIF

I am trying to expose a Stateless Session EJB as a WebService, which contains a method called getOrderList(). This method returns an array of a complex type (Java Bean).
I am, however, able to succesfully access the WebService using the SOAP/HTTP protocol.
My client code is as follows:

WSIFService service = factory.getService("<path to wsdl>", null, null, "http://sample.com/", "OrderService");
orderService = (OrderService) service.getStub("WsifEjb", OrderService.class);

You are trying to get 2 databases connected... so, you need to insure that FDEV can find and connect to ABCD.
So, from your FDEV database server, you can do 2 things (from command prompt):
1* tnsping ABCD (this will validate that the entry exists in your tnsnames.ora on your FDEV server, and that a valid listener can be found on remote server)
when above command succeeds:
2* sqlplus apps/appsdev@ABCD;
when you have established the connection, then you are SURE that your can connect ABCD database from FDEV database server. It will also validate the username / password combination, create session privilige, account not locked, etc.....
Please check the above, and post here the results.

Error while trying to move a file from a folder to another

Hi,
I have created an application that processes files. When a file is processed, the application moves it to another subfolder.
I am working on Netweaver Developer Studio 7.2. The application is a standard DC Web Dynpro.
The code used to move the file is the following:

The code is surrounded with a try catch to catch any SecurityException or NullPointerException. None of these exception is caught, and the isFileMoved boolean always return false.
When the destination folder does not exist, it is created but the file isn't moved. Since the files and folders are situated in a network folder, I have tried to implement the exact same code in a stand alone Java application (not WDPJ). The code works fine. What is wrong with my Web Dynpro DC ? Any thoughts ?

Problem solved: I used the Scanner to extract data from the files and forgot to close the scanner.
As a result, the file was still processed by thread and could not be deleted or moved !!

File not found error while trying to generate stub using wsdl2java

Hi
I am facing this peculiar problem while generating the stub thru the wsdl2java command.
It shows series of file not found exception.
What all thing need to be set or taken care while we execute the command . anybody having window script for doing this please share it with me.

It could be that the wsdl file is not found if you are invoking this command for a wsdl which is locally existing

SECURITY - Error while trying to access a remote file

I've got a little issue !
I've got two PCs on the network. On the first one there is a server running.
This server has to read a textfile to add data in a database.
The second one only contains textfile to transfer.
When I try to read a textfile located one the same Pc as the server there is no problem.
But when I try to read a textfile located on the second PC I've got an error
FILE NOT FOUND :\\\\frc-pil_trieur\\Log_Trieur\\Log_Message.txt

Error while trying to run program using java.exe

First of all I'd like to apoligize if this thread already exists here somewhere.. I've spent the last hours Googling and searching the forums for an answer, but haven't found one, so I posted a topic..
The problem is the following:
I'm using Netbeans 5.5 with JDK1.6.0. When I build/run a Java application in this IDE, I get no errors whatsoever..
But, when I try to run it from the prompt, using following code (I copied the .class file into the same directory as the .java file)
java -classpath . main.javaI get the following errors:

'Data Access Error' while trying to delete period using Table Editor in FDM

Hi,
I'm trying to delete a period that has been entered wrongly using Tools->Table Editor option.
But when I try to 'Update Grid' after deleting the Period,I get 'Data Access Error'.
Could any one let me know how to solve the error.

There is no data that is entered in that period.The data will be entered for that period next month.
POV is also not set to that period,but still the problem persists.
