Error while using FJTable.jar & SwingButton.jar files in a same form
Hi Experts,
I am using forms 10.1.2 with Java Plug-in 1.6.0_02
I have downloaded FJTable.jar & SwingButton.jar files from http://forms.pjc.bean.over-blog.com site. When I am using both files in one form, it shows error :
java.lang.SecurityException: class "oracle.forms.fd.SwingButton"'s signer information does not match signer information of other classes in the same package”
If anybody has any idea about this please help me
Thanks
Kalpesh
Hello,
You cannot run one form that contains more than one Beans that have not the same signature.
Sign both the JAR files and everything is going to be OK ;D

Error while introspecting the JAR file
I get the following error while introspecting the JAR into BPM

Anybdy knows whats the error?It means you're using different JDK versions to run OBPM Studio and to compile the classes in your JAR. If you recompile the classes with the same major version of the JDK you use in Studio the introspection should work.

Error while loading the jar file using loadjava
Hi,
I'm trying to load a jar file in to a database through the loadjava utility. First time when i loaded a jar file it created few public synonyms with /'s. like /5b3d7f97_BeanInfoIndexer.
Now i want to drop these synonyms before i reload the jar file with loadjava.
If i use DROP PUBLIC SYNONYM /5b3d7f97_BeanInfoIndexer; it gives the following error...
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00933: SQL command not properly ended
I wonder how to drop these synonyms. I have to drop all these synonyms to freshly load the jar file.
Thanks
ShivaYou can include the synonym names in double quotes in the drop synonym command. But it is not a good idea to drop the synonyms(which have been created by loadjava) using drop synonym command. Instead, you can use dropjava command which will automatically drop all the synonyms created by the loadjava command.

nullHi Olivier,
you could try the following approach:
1. Package your JAR files as J2EE Engine libraries and deploy them on it as described here: <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/9f/2ade3fc6c6ec06e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm">Working with J2EE Libraries</a>.
2. Set reference to this library from the application that use them. Depending on your application, refer to the appropriate documentation:
-- reference from a J2EE app -> see <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/15/d5d93fe80fed06e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm">Referencing Libraries in Applications</a>

Hope that helps! -

Error while using Oracle Table as source file :- ODQ for ODI
Hi All,
I am getting some errors while working on ODQ with Oracle Tables as source file.
If I am trying with text files (*.txt) as source and output it works fine.
Please let me know how we can connect to an oracle table which is my source file.
In the exported project -> “settings” folder
In the file named eN_transfmr_pXX.stx
For
/CATEGORY/INPUT/PARAMETER/INPUT_SETTINGS/ARGUMENTS/EN
TRY/DATA_FILE_NAME=
What I need to give? (URL – source file)
I tried with
1. jdbc:oracle:thin:@xxx.xxx.x.xx:1521:ORCL
2. jdbc:oracle:thin:UserName/Password@// xxx.xxx.x.xx:1521:ORCL
i am not sure , is there any thing missing ???
(Note: for text file I am giving “D:\Sourcefolder\customer.txt”)
If I am running the batch file directly from CMD Prompt it’s displaying the error message
“Cannot open file”
If I am connecting with ODI it’s displaying the error
com.sunopsis.dwg.function.SnpsFunctionBaseException: OS command returned 3503. …………………….
Thanks in advance…
Rathish A MHi Ratish,
ODQ supports files as inputs not Oracle tables, what you should do is:
- define an ODQ process that takes a file as an input.
- create an ODI process that dumps your Oracle table into a file that will be used by ODQ. (interface or OdiSqlUnload step)
- run the ODQ process in ODI (in a package)
- create an ODI interface that will load your ODQ output file into a DB.
You can profile Oracle tables directly using Oracle Data Profiling.
Thanks,

JS error while using input fields with type=file on XP SP2
Hi all,
we found a new problem in applications which use input fields with type=file running in a browser on Microsoft Windows XP with SP2.
A typical test layout might look like:
<html>
<head>
<title>File-Upload</title>
</head>
<body>
<form action="/cgi-bin/upload.pl" method=post
enctype="multipart/form-data">
<input type=file size=50 maxlength=100000 name="file"
accept="text/*"><br>
<button onclick="document.forms[0].submit();">Send</button>
</form>
</body>
</html>
When you add a link without the fully qualified path (for example pic01.jpg instead of c:\pictures\pic01.jpg) and click on the 'Send' button, nothing happens and you get a Javascript error 'Access denied'.
The solution can be found in the MS Knowledge Base article 892442:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;892442
We still investigate this issue and will inform you about the further proceeding.

Error while running ldap40.jar file
Hi,
I have cloned an oracle 8i database(which is on windows 2000 sp4 server) to a new server(same configuration i.e windows 2000) to make the new server as a production database. I was not aware that the db server will connect to an LDAP server, so i have missed copyng some configuration files related to ldap. later, after making the new server as production server, development team informed me that some part of application is throwing some ora errors, the errors are
ora-04088, ora-06512, ora-29532,
Later i 've copied the configuration files related to ldap server into the db server, and i got some documentation regarding the db server(steps to follow for a new db server). in that we need to loadjava into database by using

when i run the above command i got the ora-29552 error

Gridworld Case Study - how to use a .jar file with textpad
Hello,
I am a student currently working on a project involving the Gridworld case study. While trying to work on my project at home, I discovered that I would get new "cannot find symbol" compiler errors that I had not previously gotten while compiling the same code at school. I am assuming this has something to do with the .jar file included in the gridworld code. How do I get textpad and/or the java compiler to find and use the .jar file and reccognise the classes which i am importing and extending in my project?
Thanks,

Using a JAR file as a project file
My application allows the user to create projects. Previously, a project file was simply an XML file. Now, a project file needs to also contain many images.
I thought it would be a good idea to simply use a JAR file as my project file.
Since I've really never really worked with JAR files and the java.util.Jar package directly, I have a few questions.
1) Would it be better just to simply store the images as binary in the XML file? I just spent a good amount of time making the XML file very readable so I thought it would be better to keep the images separate while still having a single "project" file.
2) Is there anything inherently wrong with the way I'm working with the JAR file in the code below?
Simple XML file:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE project [
<!ELEMENT project (img+)>
<!ELEMENT img EMPTY>
<!ATTLIST img src CDATA #REQUIRED>
]>
<project>
<img src="blah.jpg"/>
</project>
import java.io.*;
import java.util.jar.JarFile;
import javax.xml.parsers.*;
import org.xml.sax.*;
import org.xml.sax.helpers.DefaultHandler;
public class LoaderTest {
private String imageName;
public LoaderTest() {
InputStream i = null;
JarFile jf = null;
try {
jf = new JarFile("project.jar");
i = jf.getInputStream(jf.getJarEntry("project.xml"));
// Here's my simple XML parser to load the project and images
SAXParser parser = SAXParserFactory.newInstance().newSAXParser();
parser.parse(new InputSource(i), new DefaultHandler() {
@Override
public void startElement(String uri, String localName, String qName, Attributes attributes) throws SAXException {
// Right now we only care about images
if (qName.equalsIgnoreCase("img")) {
imageName = attributes.getValue("src");
// Load the image from the inputstream
java.awt.image.BufferedImage img = javax.imageio.ImageIO.read(jf.getInputStream(jf.getJarEntry(imageName)));
// Display the image in a JFrame
javax.swing.JFrame f = new javax.swing.JFrame();
f.setLayout(new java.awt.BorderLayout());
f.setSize(800, 600);
f.getContentPane().add(new javax.swing.JLabel(new javax.swing.ImageIcon(img)), java.awt.BorderLayout.CENTER);
f.setDefaultCloseOperation(javax.swing.JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
f.setVisible(true);
} catch (ParserConfigurationException ex) {
ex.printStackTrace();
} catch (SAXException ex) {
ex.printStackTrace();
} catch (IOException ex) {
ex.printStackTrace();
} finally {
// Do our best to close the input streams
if (i != null) {
try {
i.close();
} catch (IOException ex) {}
if (jf != null) {
try {
jf.close();
} catch (IOException ex) {}
public static void main(String[] args) {
new LoaderTest();
}Thank you!1) I also think it's much better to keep your images separate from your XML, this prevents a lot of in case you just want to read XML data
2) What's exactly going wrong here? For the project.xml, make sure it's not inside a directory within the JAR file, or else the variable i will be null. Otherwise it looks fine..
