Error with used DC
Hello,
I add the com.sap.engine.deploy.online DC in my used DC in order to use the DeployManager. But when i'm deploying and running it, i get a NoClassDefFound exception.
What should I do ?

I finally found that I should add the references in the service reference and use the DeployService class instead of the DeployManager class.
I found an example using DeployService in Netweaver Help.
Its working fine now!

In addition, about this issue, you have to add your assemblies to your PowerShellsession before you can reference them to you C# Code, you can use the script like:

...add referenced assemblies here...

Add-Type -ReferencedAssemblies $Assem -TypeDefinition $Source -Language CSharp

Printing report error with using orarrp
when I using orarrp together with Acrobat Reader 5.0, the
printout rotated and aligned into the centre of A4 paper.
Although I have unchecked the check box in the print dialog of
Acrobat Reader, it still happened.
I have tested by using HP4L, HP1100 as the printer, it seems no
difference by using different laser print.
Is there any parameter passing for overcome the problem?

I'm already draging it from the query input port. Are you referring a different way? How I could have the input variables in the query which I'm creating using the BI integration wizard. To get this input variable I'm trying to add the input form.

"Error while using XML iview" with XML iview template
Our portal platform: HP-UX, WAS 6.40 JAVA, EP 6.0 SP14
We created an XML iview using XML iview template and configured the XML source URL with RSS feeder addresses such as"https://forums.sdn.sap.com/rss/rssmessages.jsp?forumID=41". And then select RSS to XHTMLB as the XML transformation format and save. When I try to preview the iview, I always got error "Error while using XML iview, please contact your system administrator". Here is the log and among which I found an error "java.net.UnknownHostException: news.163.com". Does this indicate that the Portal server is not able to interpret the address of the URL host?

Error while using AD SSO with keytab
Hello everyone,
I've configured a SAP BO Edge 4.1 environment to work with Active Directory authentication with single sign-on. Everything is working fine, except for the keytab part.
When using the -Dcom.wedgetail.idm.sso.password=XXX option in Apache Tomcat Config Tool, single sign-on is working fine. However, when I create a keytab file, and add a line in global.properties that refers to the keytab (idm.keytab=C:/Windows/xx.keytab), single sign-on doesn't work anymore and users will see the login screen when entering the URL for BI Launchpad. Manual log in is still possible.
When I analyse the keytab file using kinit, this is the result:

Thank you for your reply. I've solved the issue now. The password contained special characters like ` and ~. This probably caused the error with the keytab. I've changed the password, generated the keytab file again and now it's working.

I created a basic DBAdapter in JDeveloper, got the xsd file, wsdl file, .jca file and the topLink mapping file imported them into OSB project.

Then I decided to use eis/DB/SOADemo for testing.
For JDeveloper project, after I deployed to weblogic server, it works fine.

Odd Error with decode function in Order By Clause
I am trying to compile a procedure and can't get around an error with a dynamic order by that doesn't make much sense to me. I can repoduce the error with a plain select statment in sql plus so I can rule out a declaration error. Here is an example with 2 numeric columns and a date column.
select task_id, display_date, remark_id from task_list
where task_id > 1000
order by decode('Task_ID', 'Task_ID',Task_ID, 'Display_Date', Display_Date, 'Remark_ID',Remark_ID)
returns the error:
select task_id, display_date, remark_id from task_list
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected NUMBER got DATE
I'm not sure why this error is occuring, because it doesn't even hit the Display_Date field in the Decode statment. If I take the Display_date out of the statement, it runs properly. If I change Display_Date to To_Char(Display_Date) it also runs fine, but the sorting is incorrect. Also I'm running 9.2, and do not want to use dynamic sql to build my query. Any Ideas out there as to the cause of this error?I did find a workaround to this issue by breaking the decode statment into three separate statement, but I still think that the way it is written above should work, and may be a bug, or an error that I don't understand fully.
The Order by was rewritten like this:
order by decode(pSort, 'Task_ID',Task_ID), decode(pSort, 'Display_Date', Display_Date),
decode(pSort, 'Remark_ID',Remark_ID);
