Errors in CHARM project check

Dear gurus,
After customizing of CHARM Scenario for 2 system landscape,
I have 2 errors in CHARM project checking:
Error in background job for program /TMWFLOW/CMSSYSCOL2 error message No active job found
Error in background job for program RSGET_SMSY error message No active job found 1
Where can I create this background jobs?
The logical component is created and assigned to project,
Task list & Maintanance Cycle created too.
The Change request checkbox is active...

    We have configured Charm in our landscape and we use Solution Manager 7.1 SP08.
    Requirements:
    Add a new system to the existing ChaRM Project.
    Edit the logical components for e.g. To replace current SID (QA1) with another SID (QA2)
    Add items (Systems or Tasks)to the existing task list
    We faced problems (duplicate record dumps), while configuring as per our requirements above. SAP suggested us to
    Close the Project and create a new one to include a new system. [This is not feasible for us]
    Close the current maintenance cycle and create a new one if you want to edit the logical systems or to add any task or system to the existing task list.
    So we have the following questions
    What is the impact on closing the current maintenance cycle? We have half of transports in released and half in locked status.What happens to the transports that are not yet released?
    Will they automatically get released or
    Will they not get impacted or
    Will they get assigned to the new maintenance cycle automatically or
    Do we need to do it manually or does it not matter
    Since we are close to starting our ITC, how do we go about that? How will we bundle our transports for our ITC with different maintenance cycles holding transports
    What is the impact on locking a maintenance cycle?
    What is the impact on project team members on creating a new maintenance cycle?
    How does the maintenance cycle get impacted if we refresh existing systems?
    Have you faced a similar problem? Is there an alternate solution?
    If we need to add a new development system to the Project do we need to close the current project or just add it to a new maintenance cycle?
    Reporting
    How do we run a report for stats by Maintenance cycle
    --> System --> Transport released
    --> System --> Transports created (not released)
    How does reporting get impacted if we make the changes stated above

  • Charm Project deletion

    Dear All,
    I have created 3 projects for CHARM project & have activated all the projects for Charm. Initially we were getting some error in the first project, so created one more project as suggested in the threads. Now 3rd project is working fine, but i dont want other 2 projects to display here at solar_project_admin. I came to know that we cannot delete them. is there any other way so that we will not be able to see those 2 unwanted projects here ? As my client will not ready to see those here.
    One more issue is we dont have 2 different servers here as Dev & PRD and we r using same server for PRD purpose also. Please help me out to solve this issue.

    Since the project has been used for Change Request Management you can not delete it anymore, for traceability reasons. 
    For hiding purpose you can try  these auth objects and assign only one project name in respective field
    S_PRO_AUTH
    S_PROJ_GEN
    S_PROJECT
    S_PROJECTS

  • ChaRM inconsistency check

    Dear all,
    Some changes were made to our SAP landscape and adjustments are made to logical components and projects.
    However, now we always get an error when performing the 'Check' in the 'ChaRM'-tab in our project:
    CTS projects in production systems for project
    No clue what this means.
    At the moment as only solution we see to close the maintenance cycle and create a new one. But we have plenty of none released transports. I know SolMan can cope with this, however the preference is to get the tasklist fixed without closing and recreating it.
    We are using SolMan 7.0 SPS16.
    Any help would be appreciated!

    Hi Roel,
    did you modify your tasklist by adding the new systems already ?
    I made it several times and it worked.
    If you didn't do yet please proceed like here :
    How to add a target system in the tasklist of the project ? (the prerequisite is to do what you explained first)
    Select the row target systems add click on the change task list button
    Click on the folder Add system
    You should get a pop-up asking to select the new system
    Validate your choice and the system appears in your target systems list
    save the task list
    don't forget to refresh your change request tab to make sure all is ok
    you need to unlock the taskl you need and adapt the project switch accordingly to your requirement

    Need suggestion on creating projects in SAP-PS from cProjects. There is cProjects & SAP-PS interface.The requirment is to create project in SAP-PS from cProjects. All the configuration has done in cProjects & PS module also. While saving the projects & checking the accouting the following error & project is n't creating.
    1.Combination company / CO area is invalid Message no. KO124
    2.Acct assignment determination is not poss.in the account assgnmnt manager
    Message no. IAOM220
    3.Only one error message is transferred from the log to the cockpit
    Message no. IAOM_CPROJECTS029
    I would like to request all to suggest in fixing the issue.

    If the companay code does not belong to the Co area,  the system will certainly raise an error message. The question is, where do the values come from.
    Woud you please check the customizing in ERP system, if you can find the inconsistence:
    1. Customizing of the Proj.Profile under 'Create Project Profile' , SAP standard delivered is CPR0001, may be replaced by customer,
    Which Co-area & company code are used. In Tab 'organization'
    2. Which responsible Org.unit is maitained at involved cProject, to which co-area or company codes is this org.unit assigned.
    3. If the Badi under the
    Integration with Other mySAP.com Components ->
    Collaboration Projects -> Controlling ->  Business Add-Ins (BAdIs),
    which set the org. information hardly via Badi method.

    The neccesary configuration for cProjects & SAP-PS interface are as follows.
    1. Project Types in cProjects, Object types, Organisation unit with Org structure in line with project profile
    2. Activate Accounting integration
    3. Object types for object link (WBSE in this case)
    4. Accounting integration using cost collector
    5. Easy cost planing settings both in R/3 systems & cProjects
    6. Project profile configuration in R/3 (cProjects standard)
    7. CO Scenario maintainance view determination (Multi level controlling-Project role, automatic)
    All the enterprise structure assignments should be same in cProjects & R/3.

  • Invalid I/O node config error while passing project reservations to APO

    Guys,
    I had created a Project with WBS Element, Network & Internal activity in ECC Project Systems. This data was ciffed and seen in APO without any issue.
    Upon creating a Material component, as a reservation, under network activity in PS and releasing it, there is an error in the APO side log(SLG1) as shown below.

    checked the APO post processing and manaully triggered the transfer of selected order . even then order reservation wasn't pushed to APO.
    Would appreciate if any one can provide with info on why  this error is being produced and ways to resolve it!!!

  • Error while Saving Project

    When i am trying to Save the Project in CJ20N i am getting an information message that there in "Error in commitment check".

    I am also getting the same error..
    I have created the project, network costing done, Budgeting done through CJ30, budget released through CJ32.
    There is long lead materials attached to generate PR for preliminary requirement for advance procurement.
    Now When I am trying to release and save the project I am getting the error CO634
    When I checked the detailes in log it is showing the error
    E     BP    603
    Item 010 WBS Elemnt XX.XX.XXXX budget exceeded.
    Any idea what could be the reason..
    There is commitment management activated from CO.
    I have run CJBW and removed the availablity control, then this message is not coming.

    in project & save. It’s throwing error

      An error occurred during budget availabilty check
      Procudure:
      Display the cost determination log for the order or network plan for more detailed information.
       We do’t have budget in our project. I checked budget TL ( it said warning message:1)

    Do you see only this message or do you also see something like below:

    So, if you see the above message, its a feature that is missing. How many servers do you have in the farm? Do you have a separate project application service server?
    In that case you will have to copy the feature under "14\TEMPLATE\FEATURES" features folder from WFE to application server also. This is because when creating a project workspace, PSI will refer to this feature on application
    server and since it is not present in application server, it fails creating the site.

  • Error occured during budget check while planning in network activity

    Dear All,
    i have created a project with 4 WBSE. i have assigned budget to one of these WBSE and released that project. than i want to do planning in next WBSE this is giving error while saving this planning as Error occured during budget check, see cost.
    i have created user status for budgeting like if we have not budgeted than WBS is not able to release. i have added availability control as Forbidden while not budgeted but this not effective.
    please suggest me some thing to remove this problem

    In WBS you can Plan and budget to group WBS , the below wbs will consume budget form top.
    Proj>WBS1(Group WBS- Plan/Budget) it is applicable for below all wbs elements say WBS2>WBS3
    When you are determining Hierarchy you should create WBS in same levels then only you can allocate Budget.
    If you wan to allocate budget for WBS2 and WBS3 separately.
    Proj
    WBS1
    WBS2                    WBS3
         WBS2A                   WBS3A
              WBS2B                    WBS3B
                   WBS2C                         WBS3C
    Proj>WBS1 (it will no more act as Group wbs element) then  you can directly plan and budget for below wbs elements WBS2 and WBS3.
    Below hierarchy will consume budget from as displayed above.
    Note: In you case as per my understanding return budget make zero, then plan and budget the same it will work.

       Just you check whether your program is registered or not.
       If it is registered then you can find in SMGW transaction and go to
       GOTO - Logged on clients
    in that you will be able to see your program name if it registers succesfully.
    you have typed rfcexec -aBJACCESS –172.22.149.199 –xsapdp10
    in this way.
    In this you have misseg 'g' in front of your sap ip.

  • Bursting program errors when no data - Check output before bursting

    Hello experts,
    I have a XML Publisher Report with a Data Template + Bursting Control File.
    This works perfectly when there is data.
    But, when there is no data, main concurrent program completes successfully but the Bursting concurrent Program errors.
    This is mainly because I am selecting the email address dynamically based on the data.
    + Is there a way I can check the xml output before submitting bursting program from PL/SQL package.

    Follow up update:
    I have applied the patch 8594771 ( p8594771_11i_GENERIC) but there is no difference.
    Error still exists.
    Checked the OPP log but not much help there.
    OPP logfile shows this error:
    org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: <Line 1, Column 1>: XML-20108: (Fatal Error) Start of root element expected.

  • Error 500--Internal Server Error in a Project Gantt Chart portlet

    Hi All
    I am getting Error 500--Internal Server Error in a Project Gantt Chart portlet of Corporate Dashboard.
    We have recently installed the Primavera EPPM 8.1, here are the steps we followed to setup the Primavera EPPM 8.1
    1) We have created the database schemas by using automatic database setup(by clicking on dbsetup.bat on the media files)
    2) Installed Weblogic server 11gR1(10.3.4)
    3)Created web logic domain as admin server
    4) Installed P6 Web access and deployed on weblogic domain
    5)Made changes to setEnvDomain file of weblogic domain to increase the Java Heap size and to locate the location of p6.war file
    6)Reastred the weblogic domain
    Now we can access the Primavera but in one of the portlet we are getting Error 500--Internal Server Error.
    Please le me know if I miss any thing while installing or should I modify P6 configuration settings through p6 admin confiuration console.
    Also it would be greatful if any one provide me th best practice to setup Primavera EPPM 8.1.

    restart P6 and try again
