Errors in the logs of my Application Server

Hello,
I am using Oracle Application Server 9.0.4.0.0.
My services (ProcessManager & ASControl) start without any problem and I can log into the Enterprise Manager.
However, I have got the following errors in:

How could I fix these?
And could these errors have an influence on the following ( I have installed Application Server and Database Enterprise Edition 10.1.0.2.0 on the same machine)?
* I can run DB on its own fine.
* I can run AppServer on its own fine.
* If I start DB and then start the AppServer:
- I can use DB ok but not the AppServer. Error when I log into the Enterprise Manager.
* If I start AppServer and then DB:
- I can use AppServer but DB does not start cleanly.

You are going to have to provide more information...
The only time I ever encountered this was when I went to do a service call on someone with a loose connection on the plug right in the back of his iMac. Not every time but often when he wiggled the screen to adjust it he moved the power bar and / or power cable just enough to momentarily break contact.
We plugged everything in securely and the problem never recurred...
If yours is shutting down & restarting because of a power circuit fault there must be a problem with it that should be looked at.

I did not do any configuration setting after JWSDP is installed and i found this error.

I just realise that there is an enterprise appplication deployed and the setting of configuration > security > message security > soap has the clientProvider and serverProvider activated.
when i turn off the soap security setting, the problem goes away.

Error in Downloading the Text file on Application Server

Hi All,
          I am working on ECC6.0. I have written a program in whcih I am downloading the text file on
          application server in UTF-8 format. However when I am opening this file in Excel I am getting
          garbage value for some characters(as Excel does not support UTF-8 format). So now I
          want to download the data on application server in text file in non unicode format(Like ANSI or
          other non unicode format) which is supported by excel. When I am writing the code as
          OPEN DATASET DN_FILE FOR OUTPUT IN LEGACY TEXT MODE it is giving me dump saying
          CHARACTER CONVERSION FROM CODE PAGE '4102' to CODEPAGE '1100' NOT POSSIBLE.
          Same in case if I add the code OPEN DATASET DN_FILE FOR OUTPUT IN LEGACY TEXT
          MODE CODE PAGE '8000' is also giving dump.
          So please let me know how can I download the file in non unicode format ?
          Any help would be greatly appricated.

The Sun Java System Application Server could not start

Hello All,
I downloaded the Java Pet Store example from sun's website and followed the instructions for installation. After successful installation, I tried to deploy the project and gave the following error
C:\Documents and Settings\sina\My Documents\Projects\services\nbproject\build-impl.xml:194: Deployment error:
The Sun Java System Application Server could not start.
More information about the cause is in the Server log file.
Possible reasons include:
- IDE timeout: refresh the server node to see if it's running now.
- Port conflicts. (use netstat -a to detect possible port numbers already used by the operating system.)
- Incorrect server configuration (domain.xml to be corrected manually)
- Corrupted Deployed Applications preventing the server to start.(This can be seen in the server.log file. In this case, domain.xml needs to be modified).
- Invalid installation location.
See the server log for details.

Maybe you already got this fix but here is a suggestion, a snippet from the readme index,html of the petstore download
# Start the Sun Java System Application Server and the JavaDB database. To do so, open a command prompt and change directory to <javaeesdk.home>/bin and issue the following commands:
asadmin start-database
asadmin start-domain
# Change directory to <petstore.home> and enter the following commands
ant setup
ant run
This will setup, build and deploy the petstore on the application server, and then launch the application homepage in your default browser.
The "ant setup" that you run from <petstore.home> (petstore.home is the directory where petstore is installed or where you unzipped it) will populate the database wth data and setup the proper database tables etc that are used by the application.

Error in the log

can any one help me out why am getting the error, this is shown when we create an PO through Iprocurement, the PO goes well and go through the workflow an get approved, but when we open the logs in oracle application management we see the level as 6-unexpected and get some error as below

There are 2 options:
1. As there is no customized code from your side, you can go to oracle support.
2. If are really looking to get your hands dirty, then decompile that class file and have a look at the code line which is giving error. That will tell what exactly is causing the exception.

How to delete the Generated files from application server(open hub)?

when i try to execute process chain the DTP it is giving below dump. Exception CX_RSBK_REQUEST_LOCKED logged.
when i execute the DTP manually and trying to delete the previous request, it is giving for dump ITAB_DUPLICATE_KEY.
so to delete the generated file from application server, how to delete it for specific dates?

Termination occurred in the ABAP program "GPD6S3OE0BCVGC6L9DBNVYQARZM" - in
"START_ROUTINE".
The main program was "RSBATCH_EXECUTE_PROZESS ".
In the source code you have the termination point in line 2874
of the (Include) program "GPD6S3OE0BCVGC6L9DBNVYQARZM".
The program "GPD6S3OE0BCVGC6L9DBNVYQARZM" was started as a background job.
and when i check the dump it is point out at below code

How deploy the EJB in security on the Sun Java System Application Server 9?

I hava deploied a simple Hello EJB Object on PE 9(Sun Java System Application Server Platform Edition 9). I can use this EJB object without user name an password On any client. See the following code section:

Placing the text file in application server

Hi all,
I am uploading the text file into application server.
the line length is 1028 characters.But in application server i am not able to see whole line.it is showing only some data and reamaining data is not coming.
Please let em know how can we increase the line length in application server.

I'm using a Intel Core 2 Duo Mac OS X 10.4.11. When installing the Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex portable hard drive, I find an error in the logs - "dyld: Symbol not found: ___stack_chk_guard"

OK, OSX can read that but not write, but...
A few options...
You could format that HDD as Fat32/MS-DOS, but you'd be limited to 4 GB Filesizes.

Import Fails, No Error in the Logs

I am trying to do a full export and import, including SSO, SEC, CAs and Pages, but not all pages import, only the first few pages actually import.
No error in the log files.
Any guidance as to what I should be looking for to see where it fails?
