Errors using queues created by another user

I have created a queue table (payload aq$_jms_stream_message) and queues, but can only enqueue/dequeue messages using the JMS interface when connecting with the queue owner. If I try to connect with another user I receive the following errors:
JMS-204: An error occurred in the AQ JNI layer
Exception breakpoint occurred at line 1747 of AQjmsStreamMessage.java.
oracle.jms.AQjmsException: ORA-01031: insufficient privileges
The user I would like to connect with has been granted the following permissions:
execute dbms_aqadm.grant_system_privilege('ENQUEUE_ANY','MY_USER',FALSE);
execute dbms_aqadm.grant_system_privilege('DEQUEUE_ANY','MY_USER',FALSE);
GRANT EXECUTE ON DBMS_AQ to MY_USER;
GRANT EXECUTE ON DBMS_AQIN to MY_USER;
GRANT EXECUTE ON DBMS_AQJMS to MY_USER;
I have also tried granting AQ_ADMINISTRATOR_ROLE and execute on DBMS_AQADM to my_user with the same behaviour.
While connected with my_user, I have successfully enqueued/dequeued empty stream messages via PLSQL which seems to suggest that I have the correct permissions for the queue, but maybe there is a package I have missed.
Does anyone have any other suggestions of what I can try? Or alternatively, is this behaviour by design - should the queue only be available to its owner?
Thanks in advance,
Davin McGill

*** I HAVE FINALLY ... SOLVED THIS PROBLEM ***

Re: 'Insufficient privileges' enque JMS ObjectMessage to owned by different usr
I had to give following privileges to BLANC_USER:
GRANT EXECUTE ON SYS.AQ$_JMS_OBJECT_MESSAGE TO BLANC_USER;
GRANT EXECUTE ON SYS.AQ$_JMS_MAP_MESSAGE TO BLANC_USER;
GRANT DELETE, INSERT, SELECT, UPDATE ON BLANC_OWNER.CUSTQUEUE TO BLANC_USER:;
GRANT DELETE, INSERT, SELECT, UPDATE ON BLANC_OWNER.FILEQUEUE TO BLANC_USER:;
It is working now.

  • Cannot open .odc files created by another user - Unexpected error

    I have exported an .odc file from Excel into a shared Data Connection Library. The connection file works fine for myself and the data refreshes, however when another user tries to either open the .odc file direct from the Library or refresh
    the data from the excel file they receive an error.
    I have checked the Sharepoint permissions and all the users attempting to access the connection file have the same as myself. The library has also been saved as a Trusted Location by each user and the Excel Services Authentication when the .odc
    file was created was set as the standard Windows Authentication.
    I asked a user to create another .odc file for the same data and they were able to save this into the connection library. However the same error occurs when I try to access this new file. The error I recieve is 'An unexpected error has occured. Changes to
    your data cannot be saved'. I can open the connection files that I have created but not ones that others have.
    I am only an end user so I don't have access to Central Administraion to configure the Unattended Account in the Excel Service Administration page as suggested in another post.
    So is there any other way around this issue?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    An ODC file is just a txt file and can be opened with notepad to edit. A Data Connection Library needs to be Trusted via Central Administration, Manage Service Applications, Excel Services Application, Trusted Data Connection Libraries, Click Add Trusted
    Data Connection Library. However, you should still be able to  open someone else's ODC file unless its been saved as a draft?

  • Error while updating Sales Order : Another user Modified Table (RDR1 )

    Hi All,
    I am getting an error message while running the following steps.
    Steps
    1)     Pull an entry from sales order.
    2)     Add new data to line.
    3)     Update the sales order.
    a)     Sap updated the data.
    b)     Through code using DI API we updated some UDF.
    4)     With out closing / Pressing OK button…
    5)     We added new data to line.
    6)     Then Press update.
    An Error will through by B1 as “Another user modified the table(RDR1 ).” Before going to the code where we are handling the update of UDF.
    But after the 3rd step above when we do
    4) Close the window or pressed ok
    5)  take the sales order window again pull the data
    6) Add new Data to line.
    7) Update sales order then it will go smoothly.(Updating by B1 and from code )
    Can anybody tell me why this happens?And any workarounds to solve this?
    Deepesh

    are u adding a matrix row thru the code? I get this error when I am adding rows and I get the rownumber out of sync.
    if so get the max (lineid) from rdr1 and then check against the matrix.rowcount before adding a row. if lineid is greater that matrix.rowcount take lineid + 1 and assign it to the matrix.row, else take the rowcount + 1
    if not, and as a workaround, then you can try using the SBO_SP_transactionnotification stored procedure.

  • Error using Quick Create Form on custom entity

    Hello,
    I have a new relationship between opportunity and a custom entity. Now I want to use quick create form for my custom entity. Then from the opportunity form, I click on the "new" action inside the custom lookup field but nothing happens and I have

    same result. May be I'm doing something wrong...
    Any help will be very apreciated.

  • Change Variant Created by Another User

    Hi,
    Is there a way to make changes to a variant created by user ID other than yourself? I want to modify an existing variant that was created by a user ID that is no longer with the company. I don't want to use the user ID that created the variant.
    Thanks,
    Wes

    Yes it does the job, but please take note of the warnings in my above post because RSVARENT will not warn you if you do not use (and protect it) carefully.
    If you do not maintain the input parameters for exactly that which you want, it will do more than you intended.... and by default it cannot be excluded that anyone can run it to the selection screen.
    The Rolls-Royce approach is to use the S_PROGRAM authorization group to protect the variants of the reports via field p_action = 'VARIANT' to a group of users authorized to maintain them (via transaction VARCH) and therefore also schedule them or change programs scheduled with those variants. The developer can in special cases also determine that the report is submitted in the background only via the parameters set by the variant, without a user being able to influence the selection screen in the foreground.
    Take care,
    Julius

    Hi,
    As you may know, in versions 10gR1 and higher, Oracle recommends the use of dbms_scheduler instead of dbms_job.
    You can easily create jobs in other user's schemas using dbms_scheduler, but this is not supported in dbms_job.
    dbms_ijob is an Oracle internal package which should never be called directly (it is neither supported or recommended by Oracle and doing any updates may break this usage). What you should be doing is connecting as that user and then using dbms_job.submit (or better yet using dbms_scheduler.create_job).
    The error message you are getting is because you are not calling the internal procedure correctly. This procedure is not officially documented by Oracle and your use of it will not be supported by Oracle.
    Hope this helps,
    Ravi.

  • One User gets error Message saving an Incident, another user with the same rigthts not

    Hi there,
    We have a user sometimes getting an error message (see beyond) when saving an Incdient eg. only modified the descrition field. The user is able to create, update and resolve all other incidents. The user also may have changed this incident before.
    When we use an other user with the same rigths, this user is allowed to modify the description field (and others)
    We tested: The behavoir does not change for the first user, after the second user changed something.
    It's not the workflow for the first assigned to date
    No other user tries to use this incidents

  • Does anyone know how I can edit a site created by another user on my imac?

    Hi,
    We are a family new to our imac. One of us created a site with iweb. Now I want to get to the site and edit it? I don't see the site when I start iweb...Can someone provide an answer and any recommendations on how to set up multiple sites so that we can share editing privileges?
    Thanks!
    imac   Mac OS X (10.4.10)

    elegantKB,
    Welcome to Apple's Discussions area, and congratulations on your new iMac!
    Here's what you need to know about creating/sharing websites with the iWeb application; iWeb stores everything you create with the app in a single file, called Domain.sites. It lives on the hard drive of the computer that created it here. If you duplicate/copy this file and move it to another Mac using the same version of iWeb, that machine will open it and you will be able to edit the site. If you configure the second machine to publish to the same .Mac account (assuming you are using .Mac), you can not only edit the site, but you can also publish the same from two separate machines.
    You will need to keep track of the latest version of this Domain file if you share it.
    Be careful with this file and back it up often. It contains every single page and/or Site that you create with iWeb.
    See these notes for more details on how to edit and publish the same iWeb site from two separate machines.

  • HOW DO I COPY A WINDOWS 7 PROFILE SO I CAN USE ITS SETTINGS FOR ANOTHER USER?

    I want to copy an ex employee's profile in Windows 7 (we are on a domain by the way). I want to copy the ex-user's profile and replace the new user's profile
    so when the new user logs in, they will see the previous user's settings like calendar.
    Is this possible?

    Excellent information, However, I think the OP said that they wanted to copy a specific users settings. Personally, if the settings only need to be applied once, I would just rename the user profile and change the password and tada the settings are identical.
    Seeing that the user hive of the registry contains numerous references to the original folder, your method might create some interesting phenomena. Example:
    - Original profile folder: C:\Users\LRenwick
    - Renamed profile folder (following your recipe): C:\Users\JDoe
    - Data stored in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\GDIPlus: C:\Users\LRenwick\AppData\Local
    Renaming the profile folder will not change any of these references in the registry.
    Good point, didn't even think of that.

  • Error updating: already lock by another user

    Can anyone telle me how to solve the problem in the title.
    At the moment of update there is only one user active
    this is the code I use to make a update:
      private void updateRecord2 (Room r) throws RetrieveRecordException {
        ViewObject vo = appMod.findViewObject("RooView1");
        Object[] id = new Object [1];
        id[0] = new Integer(r.getID());
        vo.setCurrentRow(vo.getRow(new Key(id)));
        Row rw =vo.getCurrentRow();
        rw.setAttribute("Id", new Integer(0));
        rw.setAttribute("Rnumb", new Integer(r.getNumber()));
        rw.setAttribute("Capac", new Integer (r.getCapac()));
        rw.setAttribute("FlrId", new Integer (r.getParent().getID()));
        rw.setAttribute("X", new Integer(r.getX()));
        rw.setAttribute("Y", new Integer(r.getY()));
        appMod.getTransaction().commit();
    }

    DE did what it said it was going to do if you don't login - tie the document to the computer.  Your best bet at this point is to go back where you purchased the book, and ask for a redownload.

    Note : since iam still experimenting with the code please ignore any irrelevant/wrong commenting.Iam using method "CreateDealFolder()" to create the folder "INPRISE" and "CreateUser()" to create users "i1","i2"

    Iam not able to set the main folder's (i.e INPRISE) acl (MyAcl) on the subfolder "MyFolder" because the owner of MyAcl is "system" whereas the owner of MyFolder is user "i1" .Which is the best way of solving these ownership issue which iam running into ? I want to be able to create different folders ,assign a group of uers to each of the folders who can create as well as modify,delete each other's folders/documents (as i have mentioned in my first post in this thread) ?
    thanks

  • Error when trying to search a sales order created by other user

    Hi. I'm running SAP HANA One PL 04. I have a problem when I log on with User1 and try to search for sales orders created by another user. I got an error message. I think the user has enough permissions.. Is there anything else I should consider??
    Hope anyone can give an idea why this happens
    Thanks

  • Error on commit: Another user has changed the row with primary key : Rec_10

    i am using jdev 11g R2
    i implemented a master form and two detail tables on a jspx page
    added createInsert, commit and rollback buttons
    actions from these buttons all are executed from a bean
    for entity attributes: refresh after insert and update are marked as checked
    i am using login page for authorizing the user by getting the user information from user table
    and then using the userid i am applying the setVisible property on some components at bean code
    when i am inserting a new row there is no problem, here i am generating the new id like 'Rec_10', using a database sequence
    but when i am trying to update a current record, it is showing the error --> Error on commit: JBO-25014: Another user has changed the row with primary key oracle.jbo.Key[Rec_22 ]
    on clicking the commit button and also it is not updating the record on database
    Thanx in Advance
